Such a huge disappointment after having visited other Pho restaurants in the country and this one being nowhere near up to the same standard. We visited at around 19:30 and almost all the drinks had ran out. This shows clear lack of organisation and preparation. Furthermore, one of the three waitresses (would presume that she was the assistant or general manager due to not wearing the Pho uniform) had such an aggressive tone when it had been more than 15 minutes for anyone to even ask if we wanted to order. After having grown bored of waiting, we asked her if we could take her order. “Wait”, was the reply in an extremely snappy manner, after having already waited an excessive amount of time. At the end, what really topped it off was that one of the drinks that was initially ordered, but that the restaurant had ran out of, was added to the original bill. Ultimately, this made us not want to pay the service charge. When we said that we weren’t going to pay, we were interrogated. This review clearly gives the reasons as to why a service charge was not warranted. Never again with this branch after such a huge disappointment.

Delicious food! The summer rolls stood out because they were light, fresh, and tasty! The Mushroom Pho soup with vegetable stock did not disappoint - great portion size, wide range of vegetables and also light. The manager was also nice and friendly, and made time to have a chat. Overall, I highly recommend it.

We came to Covent Garden Pho at 5:20 pm. And We have waited for our order for an hour to be served. So, the dishes were served at 6:20 pm, and the bill is from 6:43 pm. They have just forgotten about the order and cannot admit it. We asked for a manager, and some guy came. He didn’t have any badge with his name and he refused to name himself. He started to say that it was our fault that we ordered a started, so we should wait for a main for a long period of time… So, instead of solving the issue, the manager just blames its clients for the thing that they cannot serve us for an hour… The food was actually good, but waiting for an hour and asked the staff 3 times to do something ruined the evening. Thanks!

The Curry was decent but it's not enough to look past the chicken wings. It's £8 a portion and you get 8 wings. I complained to the manager about the size of 2 of the wings as you can clearly see in the pictures. All she said was the chefs can't help what chicken they cook. Do chefs not look at wings before cooking them? Are they blind chefs? Is it Ratatouille under the hat? Any chef would see a tiny wing like that and deem it unacceptable to serve to a customer. The fact the manager didn't help by giving me 2 normal size wings was a big L considering the premium price they are charging for the food. Those 2 tiny wings cost £2. It was barely a bite. It was robbery.

Love Pho. I had a papaya salad with prawns and it was delicious. It was a very busy lunch time

Loved the food here. We had Chicken noodle soup and vermicelli noodles with spring rolls - both were amazing. Small cozy place - felt great catching up with a friend.

Has a little wait as door waiting to be seated but once seated, service was friendly and quick. Toilet was clean. Had chicken wings with a very tasty but unusual red dip. Enjoyed both the food and drinks immensely and prices reasonable. Would definitely visit again

I could not fault the quality of the food. It was amazing, However my experience was less than desired. It's a shame as I work myself in the covent garden and was out on my lunch break. It was a quiet lunch time with only 3 customers. I was taken to be seated and left for 15 minutes before I could order. And even then a gentleman who came in after me got their order and the waitress just left. I had to get up to the till area to ask for my order to be taken and was dismissed to go to my seat with zero apology or enthusiasm. lady that took my order was super annoyed at me when all I wanted to do was order some food. Really a shame even asking for coffee was met with zero smiles and everyone else got friendly service. I ordered a starter main and two drinks! I feel quite taken back because I had to ask for my order I was then put in a box as if I was an annoying client when I was left in a quiet establishment period with 3 waiters to be the one that was the problem? I love Vietnamese food so I would only do takeaway here next time and not bother fine in.

We were walking through Covent garden looking for somewhere to have some food. What an amazing find! The staff were very welcoming and found us a table them gave us recommendations based on the things we liked. Fantastic customer service very friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh tasting with the right amount of spices and heat. When I am next in London I will be sure to visit again

This place is fantastic. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, I can't recommend it highly enough. My wife has various dietary restrictions, making restaurant visits very difficult, but we were served by an amazing guy, Tom, who really went the extra mile to ensure that the food not only met her requirements, but was also very tasty. We will definitely be returning when we're next in the area.

Fantastic food. Super flavours. Their famous Vietnamese soup is worth the hype. Portions are very generous and staff super helpful and accommodating. Book before hand as it gets busy and you don't want to miss out

Been coming here for years and the Pho has not changed one bit. It’s amazing!! You have to also try the spring rolls with the peanut sauce!

Everything in this place is incredible, starting with the people who serve, they are very attentive, on the other hand, the food is the best there can be! The flavors are amazing all the dishes are great! but in my opinion the Vietnamese chicken curry is the icing on the cake! I come here whenever I can!

I had a really great experience at three in Covent Garden, the manager, Dan was awesome, followed by one of the other staff members. Levi was really friendly and accommodating after having a not so great experience from the real greek next door. Really glad I came in here and they turn things around top marks for the team at Pho Covent Garden.

We love Pho! We had a lovely meal here this evening. Food was delicious, healthy, and lots of choice of alcohol-free drinks too (a bonus for me). Daniel took great care of us. 10/10 will return.

Ordered a beef combo pho. Steak and brisket are both good but meatball is just so so. Meatballs are very soft in texture and a bit salty for me. Soup base is tasty. Overall very nice meal.

We came here after going to the British Museum and it was only a 5/10 minute walk away. We came in between going to the opera and it was honestly incredible. Levi was so attentive to us, making sure that we understood the menu, giving us recommendations and checking on us all the time. It was really lovely coming here for our first time but I will definitely be back! Thank you Levi you really made our time enjoyable

The waiters were super kind and helpful. The food was crazy good. It was a little bit loud but the restaurant has a simple yet nice forniture.

Worst pho I ever had in my entire life. Crew was very nice tho, but the noodles are thick and soup very blend. Try at your own risk. Not suitable for Asians, maybe suitable for westerners who have different taste. Abandon after a few slurp, that's how bad it is. Even the summer rolls are terrible. That's my 1 cent, try if you like.

We were seated and served quickly; our server was lovely and helpful. Good selection on the menu and food arrived nice and hot. Was very tasty and both my partner and I enjoyed our meals. I did find the restaurant a little cramped; it was quite quiet when we first arrived but about half way through our main there was an influx of people. We were sat elbow to elbow with strangers which was a bit off putting, but it wouldn’t stop me visiting again.

Phò-king delicious. I ordered the beef combo Phò, the broth was deeply rich, aromatic, fresh, and lively. As a very large man, I'd say the portion size was just on the right side of too much, but for the average punter you'll have more than enough to fill your boots and maybe your pockets as well. While certainly not a cheap eat, the value for money is impeccable, even if you think £10.95 madness for what is ostensibly a bowl of soup, once you've tried it I'm sure you'll be convinced.

Came here on a Sunday evening after a show. Was amazing to have a hot bowl of Pho on a chilly night. Everything was amazing- they have a great selection of both Pho and more pan-asian non soupy stuff to choose from. Everything we ordered tasted great and was cooked to perfection. Staff was very friendly and attentive too.

Service was great, location convenient. Great, varied selection of foodstuffs and drinks for those with dietary needs. Try the Summer rolls - they're good.

Service was efficient and friendly. Food presentation, seasoning and taste basic and disappointing. It all felt a bit home made

Pho was great. Noodles were nice, broth tasted good. A lot of meat. I got the special onr with chicken, beet and prawns. Noodles were served quickly. God bit busy at 6.30 pm, but that's expected especially on Friday. All in all great experience. I think I will come back again. Also the started, transparent rice rolls were amazing. Do go for it, first item on the menu! The peanut dip was heaven

The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was quiet and chilled. I ordered the chicken rice paper rolls which were decent, and paired nicely with the peanut sauce. The beef special pho was a bit disappointing because I had hardly any beef. I also never saw the yolk in the bowl..... The broth was not hearty and a bit lacking in flavour.

  • 3/5 Lin O. 1 year ago on Google
The beef was obviously over cooked… too dry and too chewy like a gummy… Soup is alright and staff was very friendly. Nice interior. Serve really quick.

Had dinner here with a friend after a couple of drinks and we found it by chance. It really positively surprised us. The service was very friendly and prompt and food delicious. We shared two starters and both had a curry, and we really enjoyed it. It was not too mild, not too spicy. Excellent for us. It was a great find whilst walking through Covent Garden. Would recommend.

Really nice place! The beef combo tastes so good. Summer rolls have slightly thicker pastry, but the sauce(especially peanut butter one) really impress me. Great service as well.

Good soup and very traditional Vietnamese pho restaurant. Just the chicken wings were not so special, I was expecting the garlic butter wings but it comes up with the deep fried garlic salt wings. The noodles were good, soup base was good as well. It was so great to have the hot food during the cold night.

This was some amazing food! If you’re about Covent Garden and fancy bite, do not hesitate to visit. Our waitress, Aggy, was wonderful! Had all the patience in the world to explain the dishes and recommend quantities! Thank you for the excellent service and see you again soon!

As a Vietnamese I have to say this is the worst Pho I have ever tried in the UK. There is nothing authentic at all, too dark broth and the flavour is so weird. Staff are a bit rude as well. They automatically charge an optional 12.5% service charge without asking.

The food is aammmaaaazzzzing especially steak pho. Pro tip: dont forget to order the hot lemongrass tea especially during winter, thank me later. Dennis was wonderful, she really cares about how do we feel and super helpful, will always comeback here!

Hi , I know Pho from few years . I can’t describe in words my experience from Pho in Ealing . Delicious every time . Follow by good experience I was in Pho Covent Garden . I’m surprise by quality of food , not the same lack of taste or no taste I would say . Will not visit again . Good kind service .
