My time at this restaurant was truly a nightmare. I was shocked when I saw a rat running out from under my seat, and the place was just so dirty. The windows and doors looked really grubby, and the floors were uncomfortably sticky. I can only imagine how unclean the kitchen must be. I can honestly say that I won't be coming back here, and I can't in good conscience recommend it to anyone. It's the worst I've ever experienced.

Took the family here on a Saturday (had pre-booked) evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. *Only the Chicken is Halal* We got the 5 tapas deal along with a few mains. The food was amazingly tasty, and we got lucky with happy hour, so all the mocktails were 2-4-1. The Apple mojo was really good. The Gambas were awesome, and the butter chicken wasn't far behind. Good place to dine if you're visiting the Southbank.

Went here with a friend and we loved the sides we ordered. We sat there for a long time and we were asked very often what we wanted, and anything more to add to it. The food was yum. The left is Mexican poppadoms. Was interesting and good. The right were cauliflower bites, very crispy. Enjoyed thoroughly. Will visit again.

Never been to this chain of restaurants before, was greeted as soon as we entered, staff very welcoming. Sat downstairs in a lovely decorated area . Service was excellent and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Food was outstanding and two for one on the mocktails we had . Would definitely recommend this restaurant for the taste and flavours of the food , always nice to try something you have never had before . Toilets are situated downstairs , everywhere was clean and tidy . All staff had excellent customer service .

I was here on a sunny Thursday afternoon, and it was very busy with people enjoying cocktails and dining too. I really enjoyed the food, chicken wings to start didn't take a pic because I was hungry and impatient by the time they arrived! And then 8oz steak for main. The food was nice, but it did take a very long time for both starters and to arrive once ordered. Would probably try somewhere else next time.

The food was nice, especially quesadillas. The drinks we had were horrible, we started with watermelon margaritas that tasted out of date, and then we thought that maybe other drinks would be better, so we ordered strawberry daiquiri. We had to return it, strawberry puree it tasted old, very acidic, and nothing pleasant at all. Also we did see how the bartender was making the drinks, he made 6 strawberry daiquiri's in one shaker and in the end he topped up the drinks with even more extra strawberry puree to even them out. The manager removed the daiquiri's from our bill which was lovely but we are not recommending the cocktails we had.

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Las Iguanas but my friend didn't offer me much choice of where to eat yesterday as I could tell they were bent on going to Las Iguanas for the sake of happy hour cocktails 🍸🤦🏾‍♀️. I must say, though, that the dishes I ordered were not as bad as I had at another branch years ago. The chicken wings were well cooked, but I didn't like the sauce it was in. It tasted like it had a ketchup base, and I hate ketchup. But that's down to my personal preference. I'm sure the cooking was done well and the taste works for many other people. Whilst I liked my tropical cooler mocktail, my friend didn't like theirs much. I tasted it, it was bland. Pineapple cooler or something like that. The atmosphere was great. The waiter was great, but the guy who ushered us to our seat had a little attitude. I noticed that some chairs had cushion while some didn't. The table we were given had wooden chairs without cushion, so I asked why it didn't and if I could get a cushion just so my bum is a bit more comfortable. He looked shocked and said, "These chairs have been like this for 16 years, and no one has complained." Then, I was shocked at the silly response. I doubt no one has complained, and if they did, I'm certain they got the cold shoulder attitude as well. In the end, he still didn't give me a cushion. Sad guy. The restaurant is at the heart of central London and close to many underground stations. I may or may not visit again, but if I do, I will get my cushioned chair. Lol

Happy hour drinks watered down We stopped here to have a few drinks and cups of tea. It was happy hour so it was buy one get one free. We ordered margaritas but there was hardly any alcohol in them at all! The teas were nothing great either. The service was mediocre.

I have no complaints, from begginging to end, it was perfect the lovely shirt haired blonde lady was really attentive to my gluten free diet. She advised on the ingredients and took all of our orders excellently. The cocktails on happy hour were excellent. The food was amazing. I had the mixed grill tacos. Gluten free with beef steak, chicken and Prawns. It was so good. I will definitely have it again. Thank you for the love service and food.

One of the good places in south bank, which I always enjoy. Two-for-one cocktails is always a plus, while my mother did enjoy her pisco sour, she didn’t know it had egg whites, I love it though. Don’t have a crazy amount of veggie options, but it is a Latin restaurant, so enjoyable anyway. The decor is nice, they were quite busy, so it does take a minute for the food and drinks to come out, so take it into account if you’re in a bit of a rush.

Las Iguanas on South Bank – Where Every Bite is a Fiesta! 🎉 Celebrated my birthday here with friends, and it was an absolute blast! 🎂 From the irresistible curly fries and plantain to the mouthwatering enchiladas and decadent brownies, the food was a party on our plates. 🍟🍌🌮🍫 The mocktails were a delight, and the nachos were pure happiness. 🍹😋 The service? Lightning fast and served with a smile. 😃 The ambience is cool, and the buzzing atmosphere adds to the excitement. 🎶 For a memorable meal filled with flavors and fun, Las Iguanas is the place to be. A fiesta for the senses! 🎊💃🕺

Recently visited the Rfh location. Plenty of starters to try from. New calamari is crisper and the Cauliflower bites were really good. Got the brazilian fried chicken which is a crowd favorite. The Agave aioli on both the Cauliflower and fried chicken gives a sweet touch to the dishes. Cocktails great as always. Definitely visiting again. Great service from Marius.

Came here for dinner with the general a la carte menu. The food was nice but in my opinion a bit bland, but overall a pleasant meal. You get 30% off food with UNiDAYS discount. I’ve been before and I’d recommend the chica club or bottomless brunch as very good value for money and the tapas/starters have more flavour, however you need to book in advance.

Very nice and cozy place. The food was good and reasonably priced. They had a drink BOGO free special. It was great, the only draw back is that you get both of the payed and free drinks at the same time so you gotta drink them fast if you don't want watered down drink😉 .

Really fun place to be, good vibe and good food that you'd get from a las iguanas and the service was good enough . Despite being busy, we were seated fairly quickly and enjoyed our meals. We especially liked the 2 for 1 drinks offer. Really nice place to go for a casual meal with friends/colleagues.

Picked this place for a Saturday evening dinner. We were seated quickly and waitress took our orders. The waitress was awesome and her customer service was top notch! The nachos were amazing and arrived quickly with the drinks. The mains took a while. The stacked fajitas was really good and the burger was lacking. I thought the chicken burger would be delicious with some special sauce but it was pretty basic.l and dry. I’d definitely go back there and would recommend it if you’re near or around Waterloo.

Fantastic food. At first I was just a little disappointed to find out they didn't have The Cuban sandwich available. The waiter just said 'We don't have it' and didn't really give any other reason. However the staff were all friendly, the services was really good, just maybe needs to be a bit more organised though. Otherwise really good. So instead I got a classic Burger that I ordered with salad and a side of fries. This was fantastic! All in all, a great meal, a really cool place with pretty amazing food. A really good experience and I look forward to going back again soon and hopefully trying there 'Cuban Sandwich' 🙂

We visited this restaurant after a theatre trip on a Thursday at just after 5.00 pm. We managed to get a table quite easily even though we didn't have a booking. The atmosphere was good and the seating was comfortable. The food was good quality and very tasty. It was served pretty quickly and was nice and hot. We ordered five different dishes and all were enjoyed. We also had two for one cocktails - Pina coladas were very nice. For central London it was good value at £108.00 for five diners including drinks and £12.00 service charge. Would definitely visit again.

Had our work Christmas dinner here, and it was jam packed. Not an empty seat in the house! My starters were delicious, Brazilian beach cheese which I would definitely have again. Main was jackfruit curry which was OK. I would try something different next time, but the plantain was very good. Duche de Leche as dessert was the right choice! And would highly recommend. The restaurant was incredibly hot inside though, felt a bit uncomfortable! But other than that, my experience there was decent.

The food was nice, we shared a load of dishes and every one was decent, not a bad one among them. The place was pretty busy, and the atmosphere was decent. They had a happy hour too, so we got an extra cocktail each for free, which was an unexpected bonus. I've knocked a star off for service, as, perhaps they were understaffed, but it was virtually impossible to get anyone's attention, and also one of the dishes we ordered didn't turn up. However, overall it was still a good experience and we enjoyed our meal.

Great Happy Hour specials! Buy one get one on drinks, including mocktails. You have to get the exact same one for the BOGO tho. It did take a WHILE for our drinks to come out but it was a Friday evening and when the drinks did come out they brought both (since you order 2 for the HH BOGO). The salted caramel martini was so yummy. Would come back for happy hour again.

I booked for weekend bottomless brunch. From start to finish the experience, services and food was amazing. For £37.95 you get a choice of one brunch dish and unlimited cocktails, Prosecco and spirts with mixers. Our waitress Roxanna was amazing and very professional. I would highly recommend this option if you like value for money and great service.

So walked in here a mate recommended it on South Bank and wow loved it. Julita recommend me the dish Enchiladas, Oh my god! What a dish so yummy. I thoroughly enjoyed it! So tasty, so yummy without a lie. Next time I’m in London I’m deffo hitting this place up. Thanks so much for the excellence service Julita, you deserve a pay rise! ❤️‍🩹

The pandemic has definitely helped these guys up their game!! They now have extra seating, so there is no wait time and orders are flying. Outstanding service.

Loved the staff and the food here. Starters were just the right size and the brie and mango espanada were amazing. Only let down of the evening was the chicken enchilada was mainly onion with very little chicken/peppers.

Went for a boozy brunch on Sunday, starters were small portions (2x chicken wings and soggy nachos) cocktails were nice but attentiveness to top up glasses was a bit sparce! Mains was a decent portion but lacked presentation, then when time was up and the bill arrived they tried to charge us extra for cocktails (which were all included in the deal)

Las Iguanas offers Mexican food. The food is great and so is the staff. This particular Las Iguanas is located in South Bank centre, it is right by the river and alongside other restaurants. There is plenty of outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. The menu itself boasts great cocktail and Mexican food options.

We went there for the bottomless brunch. The food was very nice and filling. Most of the cocktails were really good , but some not quite our taste, but hey everyone is different and not everything can be for everyone’s taste. The staff were extremely friendly and polite. They even bought a cake for my twin boys for their 21st birthday. We had service over and above what we expected. We even go extra time for no extra cost. The staff and manageress were amazing , quick , efficient and should be paid more as they ‘re a real credit to the company. Please go there and experience the amazing service. Keep up the great work. Definitely will be back. It was a memorable day. Thank you to all the staff

Generally very good food, service is prompt enough and waiters are lovely - we were served by Tonia and she was amazing!! Would definitely recommend and planning on coming back soon.

The food is pretty good and the cocktails were great for the most part (except the espresso martini is overly sweet). The staff were attentive and friendly which made for a good experience. The only downside is the toilets were an absolute mess and there was only 2 urinals and 1 male toilet for the entire restaurant. Overall would recommend for the food and 2 for 1 cocktail hours.

The restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday evening. There is no air conditioning inside so you can feel the heat inside. Drinks and food came in a reasonable time and the service was good. I would visit again.

First time experience having a bottomless brunch , me and my partner upgraded our brunch for an extra £5 giving us the option to have a choice of 6 cocktails with still the choice of beer and prosecco. You have a choice of a starter and main alongside the bottomless drinks with your 90min slot, we booked our brunch at the London - Royal Festival Hall and we was served by Marc who was was very welcoming and very assertive. He made sure we had drinks on our tables and even to something small like ordering curly chips and getting sweet potatoes instead, he went back to the kitchen and made sure my partner got his portion of curly chips he took this upon himself from self observation without us mentioning it. Apart from that he was bubbly and very welcoming making our experience relaxed and fun.

We Do like a bottomless brunch and Las Iguanas gave a fine account of itself on a busy saturday lunchtime. The whole idea of a bottomless brunch is that you should not be sat with an empty glass on the table, there shouldn't be any need to so much as to catch a nenber of staff's eye to get your next drink. If you go anywhere for a bottomless brunch and you have to keep calling a waiter over and remnding them to crack on and fill your glass / get you another pint, you have my permission to just walk away. Plentiful pints of Corona were brought to the table at Las Iguanas, we didn't have to ask once, the waiter quite rightly understood what bottomless means and delivered mightily well. I think we did about 5 pints and 3 cocktails each. Gotta get your bottomless brunch value. Highly recommended, especially as you're looking out over the brutalist beauty of the pride of the South Bank, London's Royal Festival Hall.

Popped in for a quick drink with 2 friends last night. Didn't fancy sitting outside as it was a but nippy. The guy who greeted us on entry was very accommodating. He managed to squeeze us in by the bar to the side of the entrance. Three Pitchers of Long Island Iced Tea later we were still there. Shame we missed Happy Hour! Just shows it pays to be nice. Bar staff and door security were very attentive and polite.

5/5 for the amazing food as always. I was just a tiny bit upset with they wait time. Even though I appreciate that we got a table even though we were “walk ins”. When we entered they took our name and number and said they’d send us a text upon availability but the wait time would be 30mins. Let’s just say that I waited 40 mins until I went in and asked for a table. (And I still haven’t got that text)😂 Regardless, great service and amazing ambiance xx

Very vibrant and lively place - to some may feel too loud. Very attentive and warm staff. Tasty food, clean facilities, clean toilets. ££ budget menu. Overall positive experience. I’d recommend this place.

I love Las Iguanas and have eaten there several times but this time it was lunch time and the staff seemed to be rushed off their feet. It took a while to get the order. The food was lovely but I do think their portions are very small for the price. The mock tails are great. We had fun. It's a great location.

After enjoying the Las Iguanas in Bristol, I finally visited one of the London branches. As always, great cocktails, delicious cocktails! It was a Saturday so was busy and became even busier/tad slower service once the Happy Hour begun. The staff were incredibly friendly & patient! Our waiter, James, was very kind and funny! Wonderful customer service! I ordered the burritos with curly fries, which was so filling! I’d recommend the Zombie cocktail! Will visit here again :)

Tacos sharing board. Freaking great. Veggie chilli tasted great and the portion size was good despite the price tag. Also got surprised with 241 cocktails, which didn't hurt.
