As an Ethiopia I'm proud and happy to recommend you this place. So far this is the top Ethiopian Vegan cuisine I've ever seen in London. It is Cosy, welcoming and clatter free. The food is delicious the customer service and presentation is top class. give it a try you will never be disappointed.

Really good food and very friendly staff. The bread is very original and watch out the hot sauces. Some of them are really fire in the hole. Only week point is about the desert. Sometimes there is no option for that Beer is ok but tap water is really tasty. I would recommend it for the food and the experience.

Really enjoyed the Ethiopian platter here with great injera bread and lovely stews and tasty bits all over it. The dips / salsas they gave on the side had real heat, even the mild one was so spicy but really tasty. Service a bit slow and the drinks were the only alright, but the nice food made it definitely worth a visit.

It is a busy place and I learnt it the hard way. Take a booking, I went twice without one and they were sold out. The second time I opted for a take out. Food was nice and a regular portion will suffice for one person. The Ijera combo was very nice and filling.

Very good food and interesting spread. It's a unique way of serving all dishes in a large platter. The seating and the ambience is quite unique and traditional. The team at Beza is welcoming and hospitable. They also explain the dishes for newbies trying Ethiopian food. Overall a wonderful experience.

Incredible food, so many flavours and the Injera is such a different flavour to anything I've tasted. Not having to choose your food makes it easy and there's something for everyone on the table.

Delicious!! A pleasant find down the road from us. They only do one option for food, and you decide how many people you share it with. Very tasty, and a great variety. Service was very quick, and staff were lovely. We had the blood orange drink and it was delicious too.

The food here was delicious with a very generous portion (we didn’t manage to finish it all, but we tried our best). The atmosphere was great too. A lovely spot to come for dinner and a catch up.

delicious and full of flavours! we could tell each dish has been well thought out. very rich and umami flavours. very spicy sauces too! would be better if there was a draught beer option but the bottled ethiopian beers were nice. the staff were friendly and informative about the menu, if a little laid back, which was fine because we weren’t in a hurry. would go back!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough - it is so cute and food is amazing. Both the outdoor and indoor seating are very cozy. The food is really delicious and the serving size is really good. My friend and I ordered their meal for 2 to share and we were very satisfied with what we got. The customer service is also really good.

Very, very tasty vegan food. I was impressed by the subtle flavours for many of the stews placed on the injera; my husband who is not vegan in particularly loved the red lentils in the middle. I also really liked the mushrooms and the white sauce drizzled on one section. The injera is darker than normal and has a bit of a lime taste in additon to the typical sour injera flavour. It’s quite nice. The plate for two is HUGE and we had leftovers. The interior is industrial + cozy at the same time. Light music playing in the background. The small staff is efficient and pleasant. Would definitely return! At £14 a head, a great bargain for dinner (and lunch leftovers)

Enjoyable and very fun restaurant. Happy meat eaters and vegans alike. Some lovely flavours, served in a unique way. Incredibly good value for a group. The restaurant lacks atmosphere so it doesn't get full marks from me but definitely worth your time if you're to try something different in a way that's very accessible.

I’m not vegan but got attracted by the nice look of the restaurant and the menu. Finally I’ve found a place where I can eat healthy, yummy food! #lentilsarethebest! Make sure you book first as they follow the COVID measures seriously to keep their staff and customers safe! I definitely recommend Beza’s Ethiopian Food and would continue to go back again and again

This hit the nail on the head. As an East African it so lovely to see our food being represented and especially when it's VEGAN!! Such a clever idea in the way you're seated and share the food. The taste combinations and ability to mix and match is also fantastic. We ordered for 3 and it filled 3 with smiles! Each person that walked by us and the restaurant comments on how beautiful it smelt/looked/the vibe the restaurant was giving off. This family run business should be greatly supported because they're truly brought something unique to the dining world. Absolutely loved it. Oh and to top it all off it is so well priced, one of the cheapest meals I've had in London so it's fantastic!

Incredibly delicious! I was quite thrilled about trying Beza since I was curious about the mix of flavours of the ethiopian vegan cuisine, and guys, it does not disappoint a single bit. We went for the Vegan Menu for two with all the available options. It had such an interesting mix of colours and flavours ranging from red lentils, spinach or mashed potatoes to reddish, with mild and stronger spices and also couple of spicy sauces in case you like stronger experiences. Quality-price unbeatable and the service was so friendly and attentive that it just made the whole experience over the top! Definitely a must go!

If I could give this place an extra star I would. Have been here around a year back, was in the area today and paid a visit and was greeted, served a delicious injera platter and coffee with the height of hospitality. Thank you Beza. Highly suggest this gem of not only an venue but an experience.

It is disappointing that the quality of the food does not match the prices charged. It might be a good idea to explore other food options that offer better value for money. I paid 51 pond for this food 🤢

We really enjoyed our visit to Beza, very refreshing food and flavours. I loved the variety of lentils and chutneys they had, it was very interesting. Their Affogato and Ethiopian coffee were also yummy, however the banana bread was very okay and nothing special. The only feedback I’d like to give though is that it would be nice if they had an A la carte menu as well for people who do not wish to eat so much, as the food in their Set menu really is quite heavy and difficult to get through, and they only offer Set menus. Another bizzare observation is that all three of us who visited and had this food at Beza experienced a very upset stomach the next two days. I’m not sure if this is due to the quality of ingredients used and whether they use tinned or fresh lentils. I hope they look into it because they can improve the experience by miles, and I really do like the concept and what they had to offer in general.

Reasonably priced food. It is hard to find vegetarian/vegan food that tastes/looks and smells good. This ticks all those boxes. We went for dinner [between 1900-2000]. The area was much relaxed during that time. The portion size was very generous also you can adjust your spice levels and experiment.

I am a massive fan of this restaurant! I was sure Ethiopian food was not for me until a friend made a dinner date plan here with me. The set-up, the food, the sauces! (watch out for the red one) and the owner are brilliant! I would come here once a week if my budget allowed me to! The only time gripe is the servers can be hit (and we’ll above average hit !) or miss. Nonetheless, I strongly recommend! (And challenge you to try the hot sauce!)

Finally visited Beza and wasn't disappointed. 2nd time having Ethiopean food but 1st time for my partner. The portion was just right for 2 people(we went with the set vegan menu for 2 people). I ordered the sorrel tea (good for high blood pressure) and this was served cold. Owner and other member great hosts. Deffo coming back here for my little one 💖💖💖⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👌🏻

Good food and portions are just right, you won't waste anything or leave hungry. Surprised by the fact food was not very spicy, yet tasty. Starters looked similar to main platter so they could improve on that. Single platter at £16, discounts for more people sharing the whole selection. Closed on Sundays

A little gem of a place. Petite, very welcoming, with gracious service. If you are familiar with Ethiopian cuisine you will enjoy the customarily delicious food beautifully presented on a communal platter for sharing. Ideal for close friends and family but probably not ideal for a first date, unless you really want to get the measure of someone!

My partner took us here for a date night and it was an amazing experience- the set menu platter for two came with a colourful, flavourful array of dishes, as well as two sauces. Everything was delicious! We had St George’s beer and banana cake for dessert. The interior and furnishings are beautiful! I’d highly recommend this place to vegans and non-vegans. Thank you ☺️

By far the best place to eat on Sayer Street, food cooked with love instead of just made quickly and thrown into a box. So many flavours and Beza helped introduce me to a type of food I never knew I would’ve loved. If you’re ever in the area then I recommend you go to Beza before anywhere else if you’re hungry.

Absolutely delicious food! Beza has become a firm favourite of mine. Really tasty vegan dishes - not too spicy but full of flavour - great value and as I usually avoid delivery or takeout food because of all the plastic it creates, I was delighted to find that Beza use cardboard containers and carry bags. Very quick and friendly service too - I cannot fault this place - Beza definitely deserves five stars!

The food is vegan, delicious, authentic Ethiopian cuisine and seriously bursting with flavor. I have already ordered a few more times from Beza and will surely be ordering again. And why not? It's tasty, healthy and makes you feel satiated. Absolutely fantastic! and Thank you, Beza, for creating such a wonderful cuisine and restaurant for vegans!

Went back many times this year, good tasting vegan food. Though as they've got busier through Aug/Sep they don't seem to care anymore, almost rude to you for ordering, like it's an inconvenience. Asked the owner if something had changed and she just shrugged disinterestedly. In these times, when all restaurants need customers, and there are so many good restaurant options to choose from, a little care and service, or just a warm smile is so important. Hope they up their game.

The food is AMAZING! The service is bespoke, suited to your needs...quiet brilliant. Relaxing atmosphere with seats inside and outside. The Ethiopian culture and tradition is expressed visually and through the soft background music. The pricing is very good considering the quality of the food and the location of the area, Elephant Park. And more importantly, the restaurant is very clean with and kept in high standard. So stop licking your lips!...and give it a try!

Plant-based vegan at this restaurant. We were two people and shared an “Eat-In Menu for 2“ and I am really amazed what I have eaten there -even after almost an hour later!- the owner (I believe) and the staff are offering the nicest and friendly atmosphere and filling vegan food! We loved every piece of our dish but since I love the red lentil and its taste, “Misir Wot” was my favourite on the plate.

We went there as it was the nearest place to eat as vegan food. We had combo and whatever we eat in the plate we liked all. Everything was delicious, the vibe was so friendly as they were celebrating the first anniversary of the shop. The owner took care with all the customers or her friends in person. The waitress also was so helpful. I highly recommend this place and definitely will be back.

Great vegetarian food. It's a pretty easy choice: you tell them if you have any allergies then they bring you a giant plate of vegan food. You can eat traditionally with your fingers using the bread, or use a knife and fork.

The place is nice, as well as the service. We were really surprised by the menù. Basically we had no choices on what we could order since only one unique main course is available. We checked the menù before to enter the restaurant but this was not clear at all.. indeed, you could also check the other reviews on Google and you will see always the same pictures.. there is no point of having a menu if you do not have the possibility to choose the dish. Regarding the food.. the only main course included about 5 small dishes ( a spoon of spinach, a spoon of onion, etc..) combined all together with a lot of bread.. everything for a very "convenient" price of 19£.. I had the impression that the price was more related to the beauty of the place and to the fact of being a "vegan" restaurant rather than to the food itself.

Nice spot in the renewed elephant and castle. The food was nice but I have had nicer Ethiopian food. The atmosphere was nice but the service was very slow probably because the server was on her own, perhaps short staffed or it’s normally that way but it meant there was a lot of waiting. We spent about £54 for the platter and side of rice and salad. We ordered 3 soft drinks. I tried the sorrel tea which is a nice but bitter tea like an unsweetened sangria. Very impressed by the bathroom offerings of female sanitary products which is a rarity and nice touch and the bathroom was clean. I think it could be even better with more staff and faster service. There is no parking nearby there is only a waiting area allowing 20 minutes so we had to park behind in one of the residential streets.
