What a hidden gem just off the High Street opposite Argos, this is a vegan haven not to be missed! The moment you walk in and you notice the Bob Marley painting to your left, and how unrushed it feels, the chilled and intimate vibe is cemented. Take a seat at a table and the person behind the counter will drop by to take your order. Menus are written on boards above and below the counter and these are prone to rotation. However, if you're lucky, get some ackee and mushroom complemented with quinoa. You'll have a green salad and a green chutney as part of your plate. I'd also recommend some stodge to fill you up; for me the fried plantain beat the dumpling. This was my first experience of Ital food and it was very tasty. It does come with a bit of kick in terms of spiciness, so do mention this when you're ordering if you like things on the mild side. Expect to pay in the region of £10-15 without drinks. They weren't accepting cards when we went so keep some cash handy. The gentleman who served us was kind and advised on portions so do ask if you're unsure what things are. Highly recommended as an integral part of the London vegan scene.

Soooo delicious! Absolutely loved every single dish I had there so far, I’m a regular customer. Particularly blown away by the red coleslaw - hands down the best I’ve ever had. Smoothies are great too! Only criticism is that the red rice and peas can be on the dry side. Otherwise impeccable food. Love that there’s great books in the restaurant.

2nd visit to this place and finally North East London has a proper Caribbean vegan restaurant with filling and great tasting food. Would recommend this place to all. If you think that vegan food is blend, this will challenge what you think or know about cooking healthy planet based dishes. They also have a excellent choice of homemade beverages to wash the wholesome meals down with. The chef homemade sauce is also a month watering must try.

I don't give all 5 stars lightly to any establishment, (in fact this one needs 10's!) but I can say hand on heart, this IS the best Vegan restaurant. Food: Sublime :) such variety of choice! Absolutely made with Fresh, healthy ingredients & Love, Delicious, Flavoursome, Moorish, everytime! There are two many dishes to state a favourite, although I do like mushrooms and there is a scrumptious creamy mushroom dish & also a hot pot one that I do so enjoy...On top of everything else! Service: Sublime :) The Queen & the young Kings who run this place, do an absolute perfect job; friendly, approachable, fun to be around :) Atmosphere: Full of love & positivity. Recommend? You should already be there.! No doubt I will continue coming back again & again & again...!

The food here is absolutely delicious! In a long time I haven’t had such a yummy meal, I’ll be definitely back for more! The lady serving me was super friendly and so patient with me, she even let me try one of the dishes before I bought one. The restaurant is very welcoming, loads of books to read while enjoying your food. There’s even a piano!!! Best vegan place I’ve been to so far! 5stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Delicious and wholesome is the first thought that comes to mind. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. This place will become a haunt. Available menu changes daily but but you can get a good overview of what's on offer from their published menu. Check their social media for exactly what's on offer that day. Generally a number of mains with a choice of grains and/or hard food with salad is on offer. I'm looking forward to trying the desert menu also. Inside there are a number of art works and books adorning the walls should you have to wait. The service is helpful and friendly and they were more than happy to talk through the days options.

Excellent vegan Carribbean food. Can't fault it! Very down-to-earth people working there (family business?) Note there's a £3 per group eat-in charge. Well worth a visit!

Delicious Jamaican vegan food in East London! Stumbled upon here as i was looking to stick with veggie today. What a find! I have tried Jamaican food back in NYC but I can't say I like them as it was very greasy and sugary (especially all the fried sweets). Not here at All Nations Vegan House, where food were home-made with fresh ingredients and spices. I picked the pumpkin curry, cho cho (*trying it first time ever!) and the couscous with mixed peppers and peas. I loved them all, especially the pumpkin curry! Creamy and sweet with a nice spice kick to finish. The cho cho (official name choyte) was tasty too! And I like the texture - in between celtuce and zucchini (cooked). I shall look at the recipe and try to replicate at home :). Too bad the mushroom were out :/ next time! Service were super friendly. The teenage shop keeper was super nice and patience with my question and even offered me a tasting before I decided on what I wanted. Extra half star for the service! While this might not be a cheap bites, the quality and service definitely made up for it. Note: this is mostly a take out place; food are well packaged and easy to take home or eat at the park.

I wish every meal I ate included the fresh and nutritional ingredients you use and tasted this good!!! Best takeaway in London. Just wish the portion sizes could be bigger but completely understand the cost of quality of ingredients like these The seamoss soursop lime juice is sensational as is the sweet potato pudding, the sauce and the quinoa.

Do yourself a favor and get yourself some, and feel your life force recharge. Vibe inside is chill and a good respite from the bustle of the city. Yeah!!

Tasty, healthy and vegan! What else could you expect? This small restaurant has it all. The food is cooked with love and restaurant managed by a family. You have nice atmosphere inside with reggae music and plenty of books. The customer service is also top notch. If you have never tried caribbean food then just say it and they will recommend you something that you will never forget. I will deffo come back when I visit London again.

The restaurant is a bit hidden but that adds to the magical vibe. I had the callaloo, red beans and rice, and fried plantains. The meal comes with a lovely side salad with spinach, cabbage, red onions, red bell pepper, cucumber, and tomato. This was the best meal I had in London hands down! The staff are warm and friendly and the space is decorated with an amazing book collection including works by Bell Hooks. I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful experience. My partner and I went there this week while visiting London and were met with warmth, kindness and hospitality - oh and really delicious food. We felt nourished in more ways than one. <3 Heads up that the place is a bit hard to spot - there's no storefront in the current location, and it's off a residential side street. You go through a narrow passage into what feels like a residential courtyard - and then you're there! We tried the callaloo & cho cho, ackee with butterbeans, sweet potato & eggplant, coleslaw, bulgur with blackeyed peas, and some of their amazing house-made sauces. All wonderful. I just can't say enough good things about these kind folks and their amazing food.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING VEGAN CARIBBEAN FOOD! The most beautifully tasty food, super welcoming and friendly service, and just a lovely chilled vibe - a hidden treat. You walk up unsure you're in the right place but you are. We were given a plate of samples to test our spice level, everything was incredible/worth a try but the punkin curry and mushroom pepperpot deserve a special mention. Look forward to returning soon

While visiting East London from NY, I found this hidden gem. The owner helped me to decide what to order as I was unfamiliar with most items on their huge menu. He did good. Food was excellent and extremely filling. Very wallet friendly as well.

Oh my gosh, food is brilliant, tasty and filling. Vegan Carribean style Warm, freindly customer service - boom Very cosy environment, tons of books to read and educate yourself whilst you wait for your takeaway. Service of food could be a bit quicker, only reason why its a like and not a love. Highly recommended if you are in Hackney/Dalston looking for a good place to eat.

I ate here with a friend before heading to see a play the Arcola theatre nearby. Absolutely loved the food. The setting and atmosphere was absolutely lovely, relaxed and laidback. Family run and really friendly woudl definately go back. We had two curries (jackfruit and pinto bean), quinoa, dumplings and plaintain. Portions deceptively generous and couldnt finish the dumplings! Dishes also came with a decent salad on the plates. We also had the non alcoholic wine which was spicy and refreshing.

Super friendly staff recommended the meal pictured, and what a recommendation it was. Slightly hot but incredible mushroom broth. Wasn’t hungry beforehand but devoured every morsel. Won’t take long for my loyalty card to be full.

Great food, friendly service, all delicious. My wife and I went for a evening meal and sat on the outside in the warm spring weather. On a side street, so quite peaceful. Once we placed our order we didn't need to wait long and all the food was brought to us in environmentally friendly waxed cardboard boxes from which we could spoon the food onto our plates eating with disposal wooden cutlery. Nicely spiced exotic Caribbean vegetables served with a choice of grains. Great dessert selection too. Highly recommended, give it a try even if you're not vegan you will love it!

  • 3/5 Cynia 1 year ago on Google
The food was lovely and I loved the variety of flavours. It’s just a shame that the customer service this day was not good. A young woman working at the till had a bad attitude since we walked into the restaurant. Initially we asked her how the meals are organised in terms of mains, grains etc. She completely ignored our question with her back turned while serving the food. We had asked her if it is possible if we can have two mains she responded with an attitude “you already said you wanted pepper pot mushrooms??” We found that very rude and intimidating. It put me off ordering anymore food (dessert/extra mains) because clearly the woman behind the till did not want to be bothered whilst she is here to work? Despite the poor customer service the food is still great just be mindful of who is serving the customers. (Date: 04/06/2022)
