Different but satisfying experience by all means. Service was spectacular. Wine list is different but includes the best wine selection you could think of. Food tasting experience was interesting and the taste is excellent. It’s amazing variety of food that you never thought it would work together but surprisingly it mixes well in your mouth. Expensive but definitely worth it.

This was the second time I went to the sketch for afternoon tea. The decor now is much nicer than before. However the service is still much the same, incredibly slow. We enjoyed the music and the food but the tea refills were incredibly slow. We had to keep asking for our tea which isn't acceptable at an establishment such as sketch. I'm not sure I will visit again because this place is more of a try it once for the novelty of it place. If you want a nice afternoon tea experience, there are plenty of options in London.

A pretty interesting concept restaurant with different rooms and different themes. Was inside The Glade and had their vegetarian menu (I think it's all vegetarian here). Was pleasantly surprised at the food, definitely something interesting and unique. Would probably head back to try a different room, heard the high tea there is not to be missed. Oh side note, the toilets are an experience too. Individual pods you step into so the whole place is unisex.

An absolutely delightful experience for afternoon tea and I cannot wait to return the next time I'm in London. We went during late November and the cost per person was higher than usual at £85 due to the holiday themed menu but it's worth every shilling. As soon as you enter, you realize this place is like no other. The atmosphere and setting is unique and everything is beautifully decorated. For afternoon tea we were served a beautiful assortment of finger sandwiches and pastries Like the gorgeous rooms you dine in, the pastries themselves are delectable works of art that we were hesitant to eat because they were artfully crafted. If there's something you enjoy, it probably wouldn't hurt to ask for seconds! As expected, there is an extensive tea menu with expert recommendations from the staff if you aren't a tea connoisseur like myself. The service is impeccable and checked in on us regularly. I should also add that there were even short dance and musical numbers during our visit! Not sure if this was for the holiday theme occasion but it was a delightfully welcome experience. If you're in London, no matter how short a visit, I couldn't recommend this place more for afternoon tea. Reservations are absolutely recommended. Oh, and may I also suggest a visit to the bathroom when you're there. Just like everything else, you won't soon forget it.

Absolutely fabulous fine dining. I shared this experience as a treat. Not somewhere you’d go every day but it’s most definitely a special place. Went for afternoon tea and the tea selection was fantastic - something for everybody (if you like tea). We treated ourselves to a single glass of bubbly each and that did take the bill up a notch. The coronation chicken sandwich was the best I ever had. Didn’t even know it could be so posh. Everything was delicious, in small portions but packed with immense flavour. We were able to take our desserts home as there was no more room in our bellies. I was gutted that I wasn’t aware that we could’ve ordered some more food and take it home. Brilliant from start to end and still gushing over the wonderful time we had there.

We had such an amazing time tonight at Sketch. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. The food was inventive and on the whole delicious (one dessert I just didn't like, but I am sure that's down to personal preference). The surroundings are quite spectacular and really quite unique. Highly recommend this place for amazing food, interesting cocktails and unique surroundings.

Was there for afternoon tea in the Gallery. The high tea experience includes your choice of tea, assorted finger sandwiches, scone, and small sweet treats, with unlimited refills. The vibes and service were phenomenal and flawless. But I was extremely disappointed by the quality of everything they served as none of it lived up to the expectations. Definitely wouldn’t consider it again.

My friend and I had dinner in the Gallery room. We ordered 2 dishes from their featured “tomato” menu, and both choices were both flavourful. We also shared onion rings and the rice as sides, which were great as well. The service is where this place loses a few points. They are extremely attentive to food allergies which is appreciated, however a bit aggressive in the approach. We asked a few different servers for sharing plates and water, and it took a while for both things to arrive. All in all, the ambience and atmosphere were fun for a dinner night out.

Came in for the set menu lunch because we fancied something special/unique for a change. The restaurant decor is amazing and visually the place is stunning. Seating is a little low to the ground but perfectly acceptable. First negative is the drinks. Any and every drink is very expensive. We settle for a 2 course set menu and the food itself was very nice. The bouillabaisse was amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anybody. The gnocchi were very good too. Tip and Charitable donation was added automatically to any bill no matter size of party or total bill which is a pet peeve of mine. I probably won't come back for a while but I would recommend this place to people that have never visited before.

The atmosphere is good. Live music makes the afternoon tea more enjoyable. Freddie look after us really well and took time to chat to us. The food especially the sandwich is really nice. Definitely will come back again.

Lunch (Library & Lecture Room). Extraordinary experience. The building and the decor is incredibly unique. Great service with an almost theatrical execution, friendly staff, attention to detail and care across all elements- from the service to the food, and from a culinary perspective- a very high standard. The venison was one of the best plates of food I’ve ever enjoyed. Desert wasn’t as spectacular as anticipated but still multifaceted and complex. Overall, very memorable and absolutely worth the visit. Look forward to enjoying the other rooms soon. Completely worthy of its 3 Michelin Stars.

Fabulous afternoon tea for our anniversary. Food was delicious, a slightly different spin on the normal, traditional sandwich fillings, but well received. Service was also excellent, especially Filippo, who was attentive and made us feel very welcome. Great experience in an arty environment. The toilets were quirky, unique and exceptionally clean. Loved it.

We went to the Lecture room and Library and had food a la carte. All the dishes were delicious with great presentation. The service was super nice and quick, which was a very pleasant surprise. Some high end places take ages in bringing the food and here was very nice, no long waits at all.

We had a wonderful dinner with my siblings from overseas in the main dinning room. Oysters and fish were really fresh, loved all the dishes and atmosphere. Worth a visit if you are in London. Their washrooms are unique. We were given a 2 hr slot for dinner but we had wine, cocktails and 3 courses with nobody rushing us. Staff were professional.

Very cool place with different theme rooms. We had dinner at the gallery, which is a beautiful upscale restaurant (people properly dressed up). Food was excellent and some options were fairly spicy in a good way. Drinks were also great. The bathroom and pod bar were very cool to explore as well as having a peek at other rooms.

Really bad services in the Glade room. Really rude waiter. All the beauty of the place got spoiled for the services. Don't waste your money here: quality drinks and food very bad, customer services very bad, the price really high! Completely overprices! I advise if you don't want to miss their decoration: go there, walk around, go toilets, take a picture and leave! They are not worth it at all!

One of my favorite spots in London. I'm a big fan of the interior design and art, they do an amazing job. And you have to check out the bathrooms. A truly unique experience for afternoon tea. Come VERY hungry and expect high prices for the experience. I will say my first visit, the service was incredible. The second visit, the waitress was a bit sassy about my friends severe nut allergy, other than that though, highly recommend.

To be real, no one is coming here for the food. It's the ambiance and maybe the unique bathrooms that get people. It's nice to feel fancy every now and then. The food is essentially just some sandwich slices, like egg ham cheese or chicken/salmon, and then sweets and desserts. They weren't bad, but not something I'd personally place as fine dining. The venue is fine, the dining is less so.

As always Sketch delivered. Amazing afternoon tea. Every sign thing we ate/drank was perfect. The staff were attentive and professional throughout and we felt very well looked after. If you want to taste food that is the essence of that particular flavour you need to come to sketch. The pistachio dessert we had was the essence of pistachio, amazing!

This design tea house/bar is just fabulous! Each room has its own style. Some seems in the fairytale, some in the future world. All decorations are amazing! The WC is a must-see! I just couldn’t believe my eyes when I entered the WC for the first time. Had wonderful experience here! Recommended to family and friends already.

My partner booked a meal here to celebrate my birthday and I must say I was super excited as this was my first 3 star Michelin meal. We both went for the set menu and I must say there were some really delicious plates as well as disappointing ones. Overall the food didn’t really live up to my expectations of a 3 Michelin star restaurant but the service was impeccable. One thing was that we had a bigger bill than we expected as some other tables drinks were mixed up with our table, we waited for the new bill and was given our drinks as free as an apology which was great.

Reviews for afternoon tea and lunch at Lecture Room. It was first time for me to visit Lecture room section of Sketch. Omg, that was AMAZING. I say skip afternoon tea and go straight for lunch here. Every dish and every details were well thought of and nothing disappointed me. As of afternoon tea, this was my second visit.I really like their food and ambiance but like other reviewers mentioned, the tea service is extremely slow. I would say refill would take good 10-15min so make sure to order very much ahead of time. My waiters were very nice and helped me understand the food very well though. Even though everything was great, caviar service was way worse than before. It was all smashed and felt very old. I would say this is good to visit at least once kinda place. I recommend to go Lecture room instead.

Yes the toilets are cool. The music is great, but the food doesn't even come close. Starter: Chantilly Lace, rice and lobster bisque. The bisque was only warm and more creamy than anything. Hard to find the lobster flavour there. The rice doesn't really suit it Main: Sole meuniere at £45+. Not hard, but not tender and absolutely no taste in the fish. Also stuffing a fish with mushroom is a terrible match for fish! Dessert: the best part was the black sesame ice cream, but again terribly matched with lemon. The hazelnut creamy puff was terrible. Good to visit but very disappointing to eat here. Service Charge at 15% is a joke.

Dinner at the „gallery“ was an absolute dream! The waitress was super nice and friendly. :) Our cocktails 🍸 definitely 5/5. Food & wine 🍷 perfect! The interior design was amazing, loved the art on the walls and the music the DJ was playing. Definitely a great experience! Would 10/10 recommend.

A perfect date spot for a night out in London. The multiple rooms within Sketch give you a bit of everything. The visuals in every room are incredible. The food was tasty, and the only let down was the wine list being extremely overpriced (£400 bottle of wine selling for £150 at most other restaurants). The service was incredible and all in all a wonderful experience

Beautifully decorated dining rooms and a fun bathroom with delicious food and hit or miss drinks. I made a reservation for the Glade on Wednesday at 6pm and was later able to easily update this reservation to 7pm via email. Once we found the dining room, it took a while to flag down wait staff so we could be seated. Service overall was very slow, particularly when we were finished and trying to pay for the bill, I had to go up to the bar and wait for several minutes before someone could help me and it was not crowded that night. I ordered Gabhan's Chandelier, my friend ordered the Dome, and we split the mini crab cakes and cheese plate. The crab cakes were delicious and the best part of our meal! We both also loved the cheese plate, especially the hard cheeses they included. It was also so nice having plenty of bread to go with the cheeses. I was not a fan of my drink, which was pretty but came across with a heavy syrupy flavor that improved slightly when the ice started to melt. My friend's drink was good though. Be sure to visit their fun space pod bathroom before you head out.

I’d like to start by saying the live music, soothing and fitting for the atmosphere and a lovely afternoon tea. The courses just kept on coming, I wasn’t expecting 2/3 starters before the actual afternoon tea came along. The flavours, were very complementary. Upon request you can have a second helping too! The sandwiches were beautiful, my favourite was the coronation chicken sandwich (chefs kisses) I could have eaten that all day! A lovely selection of teas I tried the chai tea and the earl grey, earl grey was too perfumes for me but I believe that is a personal preference. The desserts were lovely. Then came the scones! Warm, crispy on the outside soft on the inside, just perfect. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Overall great experience. Can’t wait to go again.

We had afternoon tea at in The Gallery. All the food was wonderful - probably the best sandwiches I’ve ever had as part of a tea. The coronation chicken is amazing. I love how all the food matches the theme of the space as well. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the first dish was placed down and no one told us what it was; I had to ask after.

We booked the Glade room as a lunch treat for a girly day out in London. The restaurant is utterly lovely, stunningly decorated for Christmas, each room with its own character and quirky but gorgeous design, the toilets included! Even though it was a midweek visit, there was delightful live music and the most gorgeous ballerina glided round the rooms. We had the set menu and we really enjoyed every course. The trio of desserts was sublime. The mulled wine the best I've had in a long time. The staff are thoroughly professional, friendly and polite. Luigi was our waiter, attentive and helpful. We can't wait to go back!

Price performance is definitely a five stars. I was very surprised that there was no extra charge for services. The best part was the wine recommended. Don't follow the menu, just go for recommendations with wine list and you cannot go wrong. Although the restaurant was limited to 90 mins table booking, you are offer to shift another room for finishing up the drinks. Thank you to all the staff have served us. Love you all!

One of the most beautiful restaurants in London! All the different rooms are a must see but I particularly enjoyed the pink room (the Gallery) & the afternoon tea; it was a wonderful experience, starting with the service, the staff uniforms, walls and decorations, and the food didn’t disappoint either! It felt like a dream! The walls also have original prints and drawings by David Shrigley adding a sense of fun and just consolidates the feeling of being in a story. It felt like a wes anderson set.

My friend and I visited yesterday to celebrate our birthday. We do a different afternoon tea every year. This one was by far the BEST. The staff were so attentive and kind. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it as you can ask for more of what you liked. Beautiful decor and the atmosphere was set by violinist!! Just amazing!! Coming again soon.

Ordered Sketch afternoon tea for home and it was lovely! The box was super cute and all the food was awesome. Really fun for a special night in. The manager was also fantastic! My online order was delayed and he handled the situation amazingly- he offered complimentary coffee and cakes and included additional pastries in our order as an apology for the wait. Service was 100! Thanks sketch for an amazing meal and a fun night!

I ordered the to-go 4 course vegetarian meal for new years eve and was pleasantly surprised at the low price for such a fancy restaurant. The service was very good - they responded to all my emails right away and the people from whom I collected the food were very nice and professional. Food was really interesting and exciting; lots of restaurants make vegetarian options a lower priority but here the chef put lots of thought into creative vegetarian dishes. The dessert was really good also. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is the presentation of the food. It comes in disposable bowls and I wanted to serve it nicely on plates for a slightly fancier experience. But the food is already arranged nicely in the bowl and it is really difficult to move it to another plate without ruining the presentation! I would love if the food came on a little piece of cardboard that can be easily transported to a plate, or even better if it could come in real plates/bowls for me to return later

Have been here for cocktails a number of times. It has that speakeasy vibe of a New York cocktail bar and all cocktails (in particular it’s negroni collection) are tempting. Also, do stay for a visit to it’s very interesting bathrooms (if you drink enough you might go twice and then can check out two different both rooms- one of which is like stepping into a space capsule). Convenient location in Mayfair as well.

I have been to Sketch several times. I like this place, original decoration and good music, and even though I had an incident 3 years ago that left me disappointed... especially one of the bouncers ( the small one with beard) was very rude and arrogant, I came back a couple times. Honestly, it’s a pity that this beautiful place can have this incompetent service.

One of the best restaurants I've ever gone to, with a lavish and lovely atmosphere! With good reason, the restaurant has three Michelin stars! The beverages were fantastic, and our server really got to know what we liked and didn't like in terms of cocktails. I had the salmon, which tasted delicious and was incredibly fresh. Also delicious was the bread. Great experience all around!

Amazing place, decor, style and character. One of the very few unique restaurants in London where you need to go, undoubtedly! The only thing to point out, would be that due to its size, and fame, it is quite noisy sometimes. But in general, a fabulous place with great customer service!

Beautiful Venue! We went to sketch for breakfast. On entrance the hallway is covered with foliage and feathers which looked amazing! We went in to the dining room where breakfast is served. The room itself was beautiful and the attention to detail was incredible. We ordered the eggs Benedict and coffee- both tasted amazing. It was on the pricy side, each breakfast was £17. The other rooms in the building was closed due to it being really early which was a shame as I was looking forward to checking out the egg toilets. Overall lovely place to dine!

Phenomenal. The food is top tier, the festive touches were particularly brilliant. We were told we could have bottomless tea, and switch the tea so we could try lots of different ones. There is the opportunity to have more of your favourite cakes and sandwiches which I have never experienced before and is an incredible touch. Service is second to none. Atmosphere is magical, a real life ballerina dances around the restaurant intermittently, violins play current music. Loved it.

It really was everything I was expecting it to be... with all the various themes, intricately designed and decorated rooms, and of course the bathroom. Seems almost magical when you walk in and tour around the entire space. I've also had breakfast at Sketch but that was absolute garbage so I suggest getting the afternoon tea only.

The Christmas tea experience was one to remember! We were visiting London from the United States and looking for festive special experiences that we would never forget and this was top on our list! The decor was unique and festive! The surprise ballerina that dances and meandered around the tables made us giddy with delight! The food was not only amazing but an experience that combined our senses of sight sound and taste to the highest level! Of course a visit to the famous bathrooms were in order! The Christmas decor art installations were very whimsical and fun! I highly recommended Sketch to add to your tea experience while in London!

The standout highlight was the attentive and personalized service from the staff, making the visit truly unforgettable.

This place is unbelievable! I visited Sketch with my fiancee and one of my best friends while visiting London. It's been a few weeks since visiting Sketch and I'm still blown away. In the Gallery, we had the Macaroni cheese, onion rings, sea bass, fillet steak, lamb cutlet, paired with a beautiful bottle of white wine (I forget the varietal). Food was excellent and the service was on the same level. If you're still thirsty, I highly recommend heading over to the East Bar inside Sketch. There we were welcomed by Alex who runs an awesome cocktail program. Alex prepared us a wide variety of cocktails that had our taste buds craving more. His knowledge and passion is infectious.

Boyfriend took me here to celebrate my birthday. There are 3 rooms, we dined in the smaller room, which has a lavish, magical fairy-esque setting. It is quite beautiful by candlelight and can only imagine how much more beautiful it would be during the day. The decor, staff and service were all superb. However, we visited for the food, as my boyfriend knows how fussy I can be. I had the langoustine in a fish broth which was just divine. The broth was a tad salty but lovely nonetheless. The main wasn't impressive, though perfectly cooked. It left a lot to be desired and certainly not one I would have again so isn't worth the price. The entire desert menu was a disappointment as nothing was to my personal taste but I ordered nonetheless and it was OK. All in all I enjoyed the visit which was down to the decor, service and the delicious startera so I would probably visit again, as I'm hoping other things on the menu will be better. I also hope the menu is seasonal as I would like to have a better dessert selection to choose from.

Such a nice experience! Beautiful space. Really nice vibe. More than 5 🌟 for the food!! I went there yesterday for my birthday and it was a blast! I thought to try more unconventional dishes for the occasion. For drink I got Lady V. Elderflower is one of my fav adds to a drink and the actual alcohol flavour was wiped out. I guess you can easily down a few without realising! They also offered to make any other drink that we might want that wouldn't be on the menu. Extra points for this! For starter, I had frog legs for the first time. Really nicely presented and the parmesan rice accompanying it was perfect! So tasty and didn't look like little legs so the choice for it for 1st dish was so appetising. Was so satisfied that even if the next dish wasn't what I expected I'd still be unusually pleased. Highly recommended! Second I got the squid with ink and aubergine. Really fishy so if you're not much into the fish smell don't get that! I am and I love any kind of fish and this dish was the perfect choice for me! Wasn't particularly salty which is good cause I've had that with seafood dishes in the past and it really takes away from the flavour. The look of it(as you can see) was really exciting. I didn't feel like I needed any sides. I didn't feel like I needed a dessert. I still got one of course, but I could just leave with these two and still give 5 stars! My friend got the beef steak and she said it was great as well but I can't personally comment on it. For dessert we got the island with the mint cream. Nice look, nice flavour. Melting in your mouth ☺. If you don't like mint, they pour it in the end so you can ask them to not add it. I'm not a big fan though and still had it. Was not intense, just adding to the aroma. As a birthday cake, they provided a plum(I believe) macaroon. Also really good! (See photo) I guess if you're reading this to see the downsides that you might face, there aren't any. Was just the perfect night.

Very expensive tea and scones. Sandwiches and cakes were not very nice and certainly not worth the price. £75! The scones were the best thing I ate. The tea was cold. The front desk man was quite insulting and aloof and told us to check the prices before we enter. Quite insulting. The space egg toilets were smelly. On the whole a different experience and over the too decor like the mad hatters tea party. I wont repeat but glad I went to see what all the fuss was about. I didnt try the food so cant comment.

We ordered the Sketch at Home Menu and it was stunning. Incredible value and the ingredients have been considered so carefully to ensure the presentation at home replicates the restaurant. Really impressed with the service, delivery and food - stunning!

We have visited the glade for breakfast the decorations were amazing. Every single detail was perfect. Food was excellent and staff friendly. Unfortunately they only give you about an hour to enjoy the breakfast so the stay was quite short. Would love to come again to a different room

It’s been such a nice experience having lunch at sketch (the Glade). I can only recommend it. The menu has a great (big) range of vegetarian and vegan dishes, and the portions are well-sized. The dishes that I had were really tasty!

The food was probably a bit pricey for what it was, but you are really paying for the service (perfect), decor (amazing) and people-watching (exceptional). A great experience.
