OMG why did I ate there with my sister? We went around 1pm and the restaurant wasn't busy. We ordered the vegan pizza (with quorn pieces, who had a appetising description ) that cost around 13 pound. The server asked us what kind of dough we wanted between the regular one or the thin. We choose the thin crust. Then We asked for tap water to the server and he brought us 2 cup that could have been more seriously wiped. We could see dry water drops. We waited 5 to 7min. He brought us the pizza that doesn't seems nice and tasty which actually isn't nice and tasty. It didn't have the look of the description that was on the menu. We asked for spicy oil and by the time I got it my pizza was already cold. We asked for the bill, we put our cash in 15 pounds and our surprise was that we weren't going to pay the price seen on the menu but 16 pounds something. We asked the server why and he said you took the thin crust. So we are paying more for less dough that had been stretch to the extreme?(we had hole on the slices) unbelievable. We added 2pounds to the change we put. We were ready to go when the server came back with the change saying we were short. We were surprised and asked him to count again because we added the money needed. At the end we added 4 pound extra. I didn't appreciate the fact that he went with the cash not at the till and then came back to stop us. We should have ask him to count the money in front of us. Not a good experience, not a tasty pizza.

Always the best place to go for a pizza. Classic menu, friendly service, and reasonably priced. Enjoyed our meal and drinks here.

Hand size pizza for 9.95 pounds 🤣 gang of thief's then 2.85 drinks each limonade it was just big stones of ice. No service at all. Never will go again there. Don't waist your money and time. Now I'm understand why they closed so many restaurants in London because people not stupids they don't want to be scammed.

Pizza Express is exactly the same taste as it was 5..10....15 years ago...same everywhere....super consistency only change is its not 55quid for a meal for 2....used to be 25/30. No longer value for money

Food as you'd expect from Pizza Express. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by argumentative staff over an issue with a legitimate voucher payment. Rather than suggesting a resolution, two staff members (one being a manager) preferred to play the blame game with raised voices, which we found unprofessional and embarrassing for us (and no doubt the other diners who had to endure)

One of the only places that had space on this Saturday lunchtime. Came to the area for Portobello Road market and it was busy. Food was great, staff were pleasant and efficient. Toilets were clean and tidy. Bill wasn’t too bad considering location and three courses for adults, kids menu was good as well. Recommended.

I wanted to pay to add extra mozzarella to my calzone. The waiter refused to request it as it wasn't possible. It made me think it might come as a frozen dish. The dough tasted differently as well to what I was used to. I think I am going off pizza express, sadly not the service/quality it used to be.

Learned about this restaurant through their generous Uber eats promos. Their vegan menu is on point and dine in service is extremely pleasant. I wish you were in the US! Keep up the good work!

Prices have gone up quite a bit at pizza express but I'm always impressed with the way they continually update their menu. I had beetroot Buddha bowl which is delicious although I preferred how it had been served previously with beautiful individual portions of ingredients rather than the general mele of yesterday.

I could have gotten a £3 frozen pizza in a supermarket and it would still taste the same. The pizza alone was £15!! Diet Coke was £4.5! All from a sticky and unclean table. The waitress who I think she is from Croatia was very good though. She was a natural and it was easy to catch her eye whenever you needed anything.

Good food, but a bit overpriced for what you get, especially considering how small their pizzas are. If you use a pre-paid restaurant card, which is simply another payment method, not a special offer or advantage, they don’t allow you to collect a loyalty point, which we found really weird. Not a good feeling when you ask for something you should get and the waiter reacts as if you were being cheeky… Overall an ok ish experience, not a great one.

Best Pizza Express pizza I've had for a while. Service very welcoming and professional. I don't know our waiter's name, but he deserves a thank you here. We were table number 2, and dined Saturday night, 25 Nov, between about 6 and 7. In fact, all the staff seemed smiley and friendly. Looking forward to returning!

Went in to a nearly empty restaurant, was left waiting for half an hour. Went to complain to the manager who then stated that the waiter said I’ve been waiting five minutes. The woman behind then said no he came in two minutes after us. Even on this, I was not believed so I’ve got up and walked out. Don’t eat here

Stalwart presence since the 70ies with classics, fails (volcanic soupy microwaved cannelloni) and some actually good thin crust Romana variations - mushroom for me.

I really enjoyed this place... Still open after 10pm in a Saturday it was a lifesaver...who would have thought that their pizza was also delicious totally recommend the vegetables pizza! Rosa was very friendly and spoke to us in Spanish. I will definitely come back!

Pizza is sometimes a no-brainer but our grandchildren actually chose the pasta. Not bad, and the service was very friendly. A good alternative when you don't have the time!

Taken my daughter out for her birthday went had 3 pizza and they were greasy and did taste nice and said to staff not happy with my pizza and they did not care and did ask anything was ok I say not take family there I eaten in there restaurants before and enjoy there food but the Manager and staff did care when said I was not happy with food and charge me £31 for the joy

Order and collect Today - 5 pizzas, quick prep time, taste wise was really good but as for thin crust pizza which if you are hungry is good for 1 person it's bit pricy

Pretty good, a little pricey compared to a more real Italian restaurant, but a good spot and good service!

Great service, very thin pizza with delicious flavours. All the staff are caring and helpful.

Myself and my husband hadn't been to the restaurant for a long while and when we went on Saturday evening, the waiter Veton remembered us and he was and still is as friendly and helpful as ever. He gave us great customer service and we always like to be served by him.
