I’ve stumbled into this place twice in the last week and felt compelled to write a review. Really relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, made better by the books available to pick up and skim. Excellent cake selection (mostly vegan) and coffee that tastes as good as it looks. Will be back!

After meeting one of my friends living near Highbury & Islington station, I was looking for a space nearby for my work. And I was attracted by a boy focusing on his laptop with his back to the glass window of a coffee shop named EZ & Moss. Ok, maybe a good place, why not try? It is a quiet small vegetarian coffee shop but still full of good vibes. Unfortunately, there are only two power points. However, another thing made my day is their toilet with a special sense of humor. They named the bathroom “interview room”, which makes people confused the first time you come. And interior design is quite industrial, quirky and vintage. There is a label above the toilet——Do not use the toilet while the train is standing in the station. As usual, I enclosed the review report for people needed. London Coffee Shop for Digital Nomads-4 EZ & Moss Category: Artisanal Independent Awards: TimeOut-Love London Awards 2016 Runner Up Wifi: Reliable, free to use Seating: 1 bar stools with the glass window, which could accommodate 3 people. Just 2 power points. The tables are quite narrow. Toilet: One for unisex Ambience: The music is low and distraction-free. There are some remote workers here. Cozy, industrial, quirky painting and full of good vibes. Cost: Coffee £2.2-£3.0, Tea £2.7, Brunch £5-£9.5 (Porridge, toast, omelette, burger, sandwiches), they provide a good selection of vegan and veggie food and bakery stuff. Something special about the cafe: (1) Quirky and funny toilet. (2) Free tap water with lemon.

Great cafe, reliably delicious coffee, lovely staff and food! Great latte art even with alternative milks - or milk flat white pictured.

Lovely cafe to enjoy vegan meals, pastries and a hot cup of hot chocolate (or coffee). Nice vibe, music and friendly staff. They currently have a no laptop policy which was quite inconvenient for me as I traveled there to work, but I ended up having to do some other tasks from my phone. However if you're not looking to work from you laptop, you can sit in, use your phone and enjoy the free range egg omelette with mushrooms and brie cheese- it's delicious! 👌🏾

Delicious brunch, excellent coffee and very friendly service. It’s a rare find to find a small cafe that cook and bake everything in house.

Popped to Ez & Moss on my way to work to grab a soya moca. The place makes you feel like home, they do bake themselves and you can actually see when everything comes from the oven. The moca I had , was one of the best soya moca I have had in my life - and I love my drink. The take away cup looks so cute and it made my morning! Everything looks so nice and cosy in there. Defo coming back for a food! You my fav in Highbury x Love Kat

Delicious pastries and coffee that’s good and strong without being burnt. Relaxed ambiance and kind service. A great place to tuck away for a bit and forget you’re just along bustling Holloway Road Favourites: plum loaf, cardamom buns

Lovely little cafe, very clean, super friendly staff and delicious treats! We had the French toast, nutella brioche and banana bread with our tea and chai latte. Would definitely return if I'm in the area again!

Not really a review, I've never actually been inside. Just a note, this is specifically a no-laptop cafe, despite being described as work friendly online. Just to save someone a trip

This cafe was near my stay in London. Therefore I tried their porridge and was absolutely in love with it. Eventually I came back twice because it was THAT DELICIOUS. The cafe itself is beautifully furnished aswell.

The butternut squash swirl is amazing, as are the smoothies. Just keep in mind the strict no-laptop policy!

Nice vegan cafe with a range of options, although £10 for a sandwich is particularly steep.

Went there with my family a month ago for brunch, the place is okay and the food is not bad, I just thing it's way too overpriced. On the same street there are other similar cafés with more competitive prices. I get it this place aims to have a high quality but the food felt just regular. Hope this was helpful

Delicious falafel pitta recommended by Laura one of the polite girls working there. I will come back again for sure!!

It was kinda horrible. I had poached eggs on bread and the bread was burnt and the poached eggs tasted like water. I ordered avocado and mushrooms for £1,5 each and the mushrooms were basically non existent and the five or so thin slices of avocado slices were so soaked in lime or lemon that I genuinely couldn't eat them. I also had a mocha which tasted bitter and burnt. It was also really cold because the door was open. I believe a member of staff asked the manager if they could close the door and the manager said no (lol). Could be a fluke though, who knows.

Good quality but prices are steep: paid £5.90 for an oat latte and plain croissant
