We bought Oreo and bueno waffles with Oreo milkshake and Brownie cookie dough. I must say this was one of the best milkshakes i had if not the very best, the flavour was super and its perfect for a sunny weather. The waffles was served with soft-serve ice cream which was a perfect balance for the sweet chocolate and the flavour was amazing. When i tell u that it was the best desserts i mean IT WAS THE BEST i loved it so much we r definitely trying more

Really lived the shake and waffles great flavour and really likes the presentation. The customer service was great the staffs were polite and even suggested what to get. Am really in love with the desserts in general and definitely going back ♥️

Such a fantastic hidden gem. We ordered two different drinks and they were made to perfection, not too sweet and tasted fresh. We also got to try some milkshake and it wasnperfect. The staff is so kind and helpful and friendly. I definitely recomment this place. One of the best boba I ever tried.

Lovely place. Very nice menu which all looks delicious. Very friendly staff which let me taste one of the dish before choosing my lunch. Great idea for business. Healthy, big portion and very reasonable price for a nice meal. They also have yummy smoothies!

Such a lovely place to get the most delicious desserts in London! We’ve been visiting Ila Café every night for some late night snacks after exploring London. We ordered the apple crumble and the Nutella/banana waffle; both were sooo good!! Especially the apple crumble is worth visiting for, no need to stand in line at borough market, you’ll find the best apple crumble here. And the people are so kind!

I cant explain how amazing these desserts were - I am so blown away with the taste I have experienced. Absolute perfection- great presentation. This place did not disappoint I will definitely be a regular customer now! Thank you for making my tummy very happy 👌 10/10 from me

I’m a regular here and I always find their service very warm. On top of that, their foods and drinks taste very good as well. 5/5 recommended. My favourite would always be the cookie dough. Please don’t forget to stop by when you’re in the Waterloo area.

Food is literally just microwaved curry and rice in front of you. Curry was cold, rice was boiling because they defrost at different temperatures. Got money back. Bubble tea was warm despite asking for regular ice. Was a difficult and uphill battle. Shame as love the concept.

Amazing protein-packed vegan options with very friendly staff. Even allowed to try the stews before deciding. Only criticism is that it closes at 5pm but was told this may be extending to 9pm in a month or so! Watch this space. I’ll be back! Even bigger bonus - co-op just opposite with lots of plant-based ready meals, Tofoo and other vegan products for cooking & great freezer section, not to mention the accidentally vegan donuts & some pastries!

Cheap - £4.99 for a vegan chicken burger, which is why I've rated it so highly. Focus is definitely on takeaway - I sat in but quickly felt like I'd overstayed my welcome as there was only 1 table and a bench. The burgers are subway style, which makes it easy to customise. Limited options for curry which were on the side waiting to be heated up (not fresh to order). Also what was once an all-vegan place now sells meat, too :( This place is probably best suited to a week day lunch that you'd take back to the office.

Offer a good variety of vegan and non veg options. Tried the bubble tea- loved the papaya milk tea- definitely would recommend it.

Nice wee cafe close to Waterloo station, super friendly staff and good selection of vegan friendly food and bubble teas with very reasonable price! Will definitely come back again and try out the sweets next time!

a small store that offers a few vegan options like dishes, burritos and even dessert. I took their vegan chicken burrito, the chicken made of seitan didn't taste like much but with the sauces like ketchup and vegan mayo it tasted much better. the service was quick and nice and prices are affordable.

What an awesome spot! As a student I was thrilled to receive a generous portion of delicious Sri Lankan curry with brown rice and a salad for only £5! My friends loved their meals, too. The service was even more remarkable than the food. My friends and I arrived just after the shop closed, and we glumly checked our phones for nearby alternatives. The owner saw us, and opened the door to let us in. Though everything was already closed up he offered to microwave whatever was pre-prepared, and was patient and kind the whole time. I know if I had already closed up for the day I would be loathe to reopen, let alone be kind about it! And every aspect of our experience was cared about- he folded the recyclable to-go cutlery in a napkin before placing it in the bag. That kind of extra care was noticed and appreciated. So check out ila vegan and veg for some delicious food and out-of-this-world service!!

Simple vegan dishes that exceeded my expectations. The lady that served us during our multiple visits always remained approachable and helpful. The smoothies are good stuff - I recommend the “detox”.

A small shop selling vegetarian and vegan dishes and snacks. Lady that served me was very attentive and allowed me to sample of the dishes before making my choice. I chose to have the Chick peas and peanut stew. Which tasted really good but was slightly spoiled by the fact that parts of the stew were still cold and not completely hot. But I really like the place because of it's simplicity.

A cute and cosy dessert place right next to Waterloo Station. We shared a banoffee waffle. The waffle was super fluffy and slightly crispy on the edges with plenty of topping - it was perfect! Lovely place for a little post dinner dessert 😋

The bubble tea is really swagging and pleasent sevice from the staff as well even the price was normal..I ordered one panini which contains fried chicken with salami which is mouth watering 😋 id you are looking for a budget friendly nice food this cafe is must try

The current store is mainly focus on BBT. It seems like they bought over the ila cafe, with even lesser seats for dine in. Left few option of rice with various vegan curry & 2 option of burgers (vegan & vegetarian option). If your diet is similar as mine that allergic with garlic & onion, mean you only able to purchase the Vegetarian Burger as the photo shared at the costs of 5 pounds. As this is a BBT store, their bbt gives better expectation than others. It is something that we will be looking forward again in the future. The lady staff is kind and know what's the customer wish to ask and etc.

Excellent drinks and service; I had Thai milk tea and cold coffee with tapioca pearls, which were both fantastic. 😍 I also had the cinnamon bread which was also delicious 😋

Friendly atmotsphere Small but nice café Kind staff (I had to wait because she went to the washroom, but not really a problem for me, wasn't in a hurry) Got a vegan wrap as takeaway and it was very delicious!! And it's preparation was pretty fast There are plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, such as burgers and wraps. No parking slots available (because its central London). Come by foot, bike, scooter or public transport! Not possible to enter with a wheelchair because there is a step.

I usually don’t have a sweet tooth and don’t normally enjoy desserts, though I had a craving and ordered the lotus pancakes as well as the strawberry joy waffles… and oh. My. God. Did they taste so heavenly, I’ve genuinely never enjoyed waffles and pancakes in my whole life this much, ila cafe is the only exception for me from now on, they took suck care in packaging and where beyond generous with portion sizes, comparing all of this to the past 20 dessert places I’ve craved for in the past year, will definitely be ordering again!! Keep it up guys, you’re doing great!

Really nice place to grab a quick bite to eat or a delicious smoothie. Staff are very friendly and the prices are incredibly reasonable. There's very minimal seating (possibly only a few people can sit in to eat) but great if there's space or brilliant to take away. Would recommend!

I bought the ‘detox’ smoothly which says it’s freshly made. It also says it has carrot, courgette and ginger in it. It’s also £4! I should of guessed it was going to be from a carton when the lady went out back to make it, not a carrot or courgette in sight and I didn’t hear any blending! The juice was extremely sweet fruit juice with some crushed ice. Although I’m sure the juice was ‘fresh’ when it was put in the carton in China there nothing fresh or healthy about it. In fact, I now need a detox after all that sugar. I wanted to like this place but definitely won’t be going again. What a shame.

Great little cafe. The new owner was extremely helpful and friendly explaining all the different options. My son got the Oreo milkshake and said its the “ best milkshake he’s ever had.” The brownie sizzler was soft and tasty and brownie cake was outstanding, all served with a little side of ice cream. Make this your next stop. You won’t regret it.

The drinks and the food are amazing!!! The strawberries were soo juicy on the waffles 😋 You gonna have to try the strawberry creame Boba!!

Been to Ila cafe lately and the menu options were amazing and the Oreo and Ferrero boba milkshake was our favourite. Would highly recommend this cafe if coming waterloo. Service by the staff was great and the staffs are very friendly

Had the pistachio waffle from Ila cafe lately and it was the best and affordable waffle ive had. I would really recommend trying out different waffles from the cafe.

The ambience of ila is a 10 out of 10. I was served by a nice lady who was kind. The food was served hot and the display on the plate is top notch!!The price is fair , you get a lot for less and its a clean space, will definitely come back

My friends and I went here yesterday. I ordered a brown sugar boba- I HAD NO CLUE IT WOULD BE SO SWEET, IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! I'll be sure to come back for another before we head off for America! And the guy running the place is such a sweetheart, maybe it just runs in London, but I love how welcoming and caring you folks up here are.♥
