I had very high expectations of the restaurant, unfortunately I was quite underwhelmed. The location obviously is amazing, the setup and service are excellent, but the food was not up to par. The dishes look unbelievably extravagant, so the aesthetic presentation is great but I cannot say the same about the taste. For that amount of money you would expect much better tasting dishes. Risotto was not creamy and tasted more like grits. Lamb chop was so fatty and undercooked that we left it untouched. Gnocchi literally came with 4 pieces of fried gnocchi with no sauce, tasting more like French fries. I can keep going on and on. Apple desert was basically cooked apples, not even sweet. I would probably give it a 1 star if it wasn't for wonderful presentation and great staff.

Absolutely wonderful. When you're going up to the restaurant, you pass through the rooftop bars which are extremely loud. As you ascend to Fenchurch you get incredible views of London from all sides. It's truly breathtaking. Once you go inside the restaurant, all the noises from the club disappears and you're instantly in a small, cozy spot. All the staff were incredibly attentive and every item on the chefs tasting menu delicious. Best Mac n cheese bite I've ever had!!! The drinks were great and I could've eaten the dessert for days. I didn't like the steak taco as it was DRENCHED in mayonnaise, and the server was incredibly nice about it. Absolutely would go again.

Interesting place, with an amazing view and food (and of course prices way higher than expected). Contrary to my expectations, despite this being a french restaurant, I didn't go out still hungry. There is a very short menu. A waiter explained us what each dish was very well, in a picturesque way that we will hardly forget. Cod is highly advised: I never had a better one.

Beautiful setup, friendly service, and a high-quality dining experience. The only thing I wish I had received is a better-located table. Despite booking weeks ago and coming from a different continent, it was a bit of a letdown when we were seated near the front door. It felt like we were not part of the restaurant. Sharing the reason for our visit during the booking process made no difference. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

Decided to spoil my grown up sons for their Birthday. The venue is excellent and very memorable. With the booking we didn't have to join the long entry queue. We went straight to security abs then into the lift. The service is first class. We opted for the 6 course tasting menu and my eldest son had the wine pairing. We were given canopies and our drinks. The wine waiter was superb, he described each wine pairing with each course and was very knowledgable. My son much appreciated this. Each course looked amazing and the flavours were delicious, right up to the last course. Although expensive, it was a worthwhile and memorable birthday treat. We also had time to wonder around the Sky Garden.

a beautiful experience, service was great, food tasty. They o serve Halal food as well. You have to check with staff some dishes halal but you can also order 1-2 days before if you need any halal dishes and if halal is your requirement.

A good restaurant but… - The wine tasting was overpriced, didn’t feel like an amazing match, and the bottles were not shown ahead of each one. - The timings of the meals were a little strange with wine sometimes coming before the meal or after the meal was served - The food quantity, although enough should have provided a little more - A few of the dishes did not feel cohesive (the duck empanada? And the mac and cheese) The view from the restaurant is amazing of course and it does feel grand to be dining from such a location. If you’re looking at going, I’d recommend avoiding the wine tasting (without that as part of the experience I’d probably rate it 4/5).

General consensus - OK! It’s an upscale restaurant on top of a tourist attraction. Expect a lengthy entry process with security. Food was nice actually but definitely overpriced. Felt like we were paying for the upscale “experience” more than the food taste. Service was good and staff was nice and friendly. Had a birthday cake to celebrate my father’s bday, was told that we would be charged £12.50 per person as “we won’t be ordering dessert”. We ended up getting two mediocre desserts off the menu to have this “fee” waived. The lengths this restaurant goes to squeeze that extra cash out of an already pricy bill is to be applauded! The owner will definitely be proud. Mock tails were mediocre. It’s a one in a lifetime experience which is nice to have but won’t see ourselves coming back in the future (especially as we were seated in a position with a terrible view of the city, felt like any other restaurant instead of a “sky garden”). Attached are a few photos of the food. Meats and fish were cooked beautifully and the starters were really nice but the fusion of Indian flavours for the mains was not the way to go in my opinion.

Truly fantastic and unique experience. The venue is is incredibly special, matched only by the attentive service and delicious food. The drinks were particularly crisp, strong, and precise. We loved the arancini, salmon coronets, ceviche, sea bass, gnocchi, and dauphinois. Each dessert was delightful. Really a perfect meal, among the best places we have eaten in the world.

The service was impeccable, as was the atmosphere, and the food. The portions were sizeable and filling with a range of meats/fish available on the menu. The view was beautiful from the restaurant and the food was thoroughly enjoyable. The venison mains dish and seasonal pumpkin souffle dessert are definitely worth a try. The staff were warm and welcoming and the staff were very attentive yet not bothersome. Overall a beautiful experience. I was rather fond of how a lot of the dishes that we ordered came with mini side dishes such as the venison dish coming with a mini venison puff pastry and the lamb dish coming with a mini lamb croquet. Really lifted the whole dining experience to the next level.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary - the food is exceptional, the staff are so courteous and knowledgeable. It really is such a fantastic experience and worth treating yourself and someone you care about/love! The view is amazing and make sure you tell the staff if you are celebrating anything, they are so nice.

Service from entering the building - excellent. Taster Menu was outstanding. Highlight was the Head Chef proudly presenting the signature 3rd course to us. Amazing. Table service was exquisite yet relaxed and jovial. The pace of the courses was very well managed. Views were superb and we were even allowed a chance to go down to the 35th fl to take in sunset views mid meal! Cocktails... so very good too. Real attention to detail. Every course was faultless in our opinion... our 23rd Anniversary was made extra extra special by this lovely meal. Thank you. x

Cannot fault my experience here. We came for a late lunch and everything was executed to perfection. The sommelier was perfect at selecting the right wines for us, the staff were attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. Having a meal here with the exceptional views is wonderful. Will definitely be back when I can.

Fenchurch is nestled at the top of the Fenchurch Building - a.k.a Walkie Talkie building - Sky Gardens (37th floor) providing views of London in a swanky setting. While the views are slighly obstructed, the setting is intimate and warm, with low lighting, plush grey booths and window-side tables. The menu is on the fine dinning end, with a a'la carte option and a tasting menu (£85 per person) option. The eight course tasting menu is a good option if you are into sampling different dishes in small portions. The tasting menu was full of flavour with crafty combinations including pork belly with squid ink mash. Sky-high dining doesn’t come cheap in London and Sushisamba and Duck & Waffle both boast better, view-centric layouts, but Fenchurch is still worth the trip for a touch of London luxury.

Simply exquisite. The setting, the service, the food, the views...what a special fine dining experience in the heart of London! Excellent produce and top-notch presentation, very delicate. Enjoy the panoramic views especially at sunset and watching the people below... If you get the opportunity to dine here, do not hesitate! 🔝🔝🔝

The meals were nicely plated but otherwise ordinary and horribly over-priced. Although it is above the sky garden, there were really no great views from the main dining area. I am upgrading my rating to three stars because the service was very good. Frederico, the restaurant manager, was very accommodating and attentive and the waitstaff was friendly and professional (although the sommelier was a bit pushy and not very knowledgeable on wine selections). Helpful Hint: Arrive early and take pictures of the views from the bar area on the 35th floor before walking up to the restaurant on the 37th floor. You will be glad that you did.

Went for my partners birthday which was mentioned both on the booking reservation and in person to the manager but was never acknowledged in any way even verbally at any time during our meal. The birthday was on the day of the booking too which made it more disappointing not to have any kind of acknowledgment. We went for the tasting menu with paired wines. Food was very good no complaints there. The paired wines were not well synchronised with the dishes, we had to wait a few times which at this level based on many many similar meals in this price category is not good enough. We also decided when ordering that we would choose the optional cheese course during the meal depending how we felt. This got missed and nobody came back to ask how we wanted to proceed, the desert came out before we got a chance to discuss. I had to speak to the manager who offered to remove some items and the service charge from the bill, good chance to repair some issues and this was appreciated. My review would have been much worse otherwise. The bill arrived and of course the service charge was still there so I had to yet again ask for someone to come over and awkwardly have it removed as the manager had left by this point. All in all very disappointed with the service, would not recommend. Look at my history you will see that I visit a lot of high end restaurants this was by far the bottom of all of them on my review list. I think the kitchen is being hard done by the front of house who don’t seem to have anywhere near the communication and professionalism required at this level.

Great food and tope service! There are cocktails and mpcktails recommended for your given dish. All delicious. Wonderful atmosphere and then of course it's Sky Garden so great after party :) oh, and I loved the lavender merengue 🥰

Good food, reasonable prices. No view of anything from this space (at night) so if that's what you are looking for do not bother with this. There is a view from the Sky Garden bar below. Under staffed so slower service. Not a fine dining experience. Server was run off her feet trying to keep up.

We had a really nice and delicious dinner. Everything was excellent. We tried some starters, main courses and desserts. My partner had his birthday and the kitchen had a nice suprise for him. For us it was our Highlight during this London trip. And special thanks to our service Mikaela.

We went to Fenchurch to celebrate our wedding with friends and have had a fantastic experience! We were lucky not to face any queue that day and get a lovely spot with an incredible view of London. Food and drinks were very nice; however, the true pearl of the evening was our waiter Lorena, who was absolutely amazing! Some of our friends were pretty demanding, but she has perfectly customized all the necessary orders, found and delightfully presented all the required information regarding the dishes, and made an incredible company for our evening. Moreover, one of our elder guests was so impressed with Lorena that he has decided to put her in his will! So thanks to Lorena and all of the staff members involved with our wonderful evening. Highly recommend!

Was a great experience with the view! Food was wasn’t too bad but had a higher expectations for its price. Cocktails were nice. Best part about this restaurant was the view as you can dine whilst watching the sunset. Also as it’s inside the Sky Garden, you get to browse around it for as long as you like saving the need of buying separate tickets. Customer service was great. Definitely perfect for date nights. Overall I would recommend for the experience and view.

Tasting Menu is very average. Some dishes served in a same plate so very uncomfortable to eat sharing them. It took a long time between dishes. Dessert wasn’t tasty at all, we thought the ice lollies with a gummy bear were a joke 🫣. £65 for a wine not even served at the right temperature. Service was good. On arrival We asked to swap tables for one with a better view, and the waitress was very helpful and prepared other table straight away. Tasting menu was £115 per person but I believe than You pay for the view more than anything . It was a one time experience and we won’t come back.

We went to Fenchurch for my mums birthday however we never notified the restaurant about this special occasion. The waiters over heard us talking about this and when brining over the desserts they also brought over a birthday plate too, which was a lovely touch. That summed up the experience at Fenchurch. The food was superb. The staff were attentive, polite and welcoming. Would highly recommend going, with compliments to the chef for outstanding food.

Deserving of a Michelin star What a superb restaurant. At the very top of the Sky Gardens with great views over city from our table and no need to queue for access. We selected the tasting menu and all the dishes were top-class. There’s some surprises in the menu but I’ll not spoil them for you. Some of the dishes were almost too pretty to eat. Toni our waitress was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and the staff were great to. A wonderful dining experience in a great location, really pleased we chose to dine here for our anniversary – highly recommended.

A wonderful experience. Great views over the city with the sun-setting. The food was exquisite - with all the added touches. The sommelier was friendly & helpful - our chosen South African red wine was delicious. I would highly recommend Fenchurch Restaurant. I would say the only downside was that when going down to the Sky Garden bars after dinner, we couldn’t sit anywhere as we hadn’t reserved a table…..I think if you eat in any of the restaurants you should have access to a bar and be able to enjoy a drink after dinner.

What an experience! We've been to a Michelin star restaurant in London and it didn't come close to the dining experience we had here! We booked our reservations 2 weeks in advance and got to skip the long que to the sky gardens one hour before our dining reservation inorder to enjoy the sky garden. The food was spectacular, most the menu was fish and part of our party don't eat fish, once the waitress noticed we weren't touching the fish she made sure to ask the Chef to make us something else instead, which was very much appreciated. Besides the great food we also enjoyed a beautiful sunset.

We visited Fenchurch Restaurant in Sky Garden for an early dinner and food tasting experience. Initially, I was disappointed to learn that it was the only option available on a Saturday, but I decided to give it a try and see how their food tasting menu would turn out. The restaurant was established in late 2016, and the chef for the day was Kerth . I had the opportunity to walk through the kitchen and meet Kerth Gumbs , the head chef. I was extremely impressed by the impeccable cleanliness of the kitchen and the disciplined staff, who worked together in harmony, resembling a beehive. Well done, Kerth ! With this impressive start, we were escorted to our table in a beautifully decorated room. The ambiance was perfect, with the room temperature just right, and stunning flowers, particularly orchids, creating a floating sensation from the downstairs Sky Garden. The panoramic view of London was spectacular, offering sights of St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, the Gherkin, and even the Shard on the horizon. The staff were exceptionally attentive, and Greta, with her welcoming smile, made us feel truly welcomed. She took the time to explain the entire tasting menu, which was impressive and left me wondering how Kerth and his team would execute all these dishes. We also had Petro, the sommelier, who provided detailed explanations of their wine selection from different regions. Following Petro's recommendations, we decided to opt for wine pairings with each course. To start, we were served a Margarita and passion fruit martini, both perfectly balanced and expertly prepared. The presentation of each dish that followed was simply amazing (see photos). While I won't dive into the details of each dish, I must say that every creation by Kerth and his kitchen team was a masterpiece. The food exhibited extraordinary quality, taste, and culinary creativity. In fact, it reminded me of a dining experience I had over 12 years ago at Galwin At Windows Park lane london , overlooking London, but even Gordon Ramsay's kitchens, except for the Notting Hill Brasserie, couldn't compare to the deliciousness of the food at Fenchurch. It was like listening to Mozart's "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" performed by the Samohin Orchestra in Vienna—an exquisitely composed symphony of flavors. The wines recommended by Petro, sourced from various European vineyards including Kent in the UK, Sangiovese from Italy, and selections from France, complemented the dishes perfectly, creating a harmonious concert on my palate. At the end of the meal, Kerth, the head chef, personally came to our table to inquire about our experience. I was left speechless and overwhelmed by the astounding food and presentation. Thank you, Kerth Gumbs , Petro, Greta, and the entire team, for providing an extraordinary dining experience that seamlessly combines delicious cuisine with breathtaking views of London. A visit to Fenchurch Restaurant is a delight for every food lover. Please follow me on Instagram! You can find me at @doctorfoodielondon

Great experience! We ordered the taster menu and it didn’t disappoint. All the dishes were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding with all staff being very polite, friendly, and helpful. And last but not least, what a view! I would highly recommend the Fenchurch restaurant on top of the Walkie Talkie.

Well, in short words - Fabulous experience! The food confection was on point...all the right flavors and textures so truly great tasting experience on top of London. We got seated near the window so it was even more pleasant! There was some minor miscommunication with the staff but besides that everyone tried their best to enhance the dinner time. Thank you and I'll recommend this place to anyone 🌞

I celebrated my birthday here and had a wonderful experience. The views of sky gardens are spectacular and the food here by Kerth Gumbs was perfection. The tasting menu brought an explosion of flavours in each course with a Caribbean twist. He said hello at the end of the meal and it was a delight to meet him. I look forward to coming here again.

Went for our 13th anniversary and was absolutely blown away by the experience! The food and atmosphere was incredible, the view was stunning, but what really made it for me was just how friendly and welcoming the staff were. I was worried about it being too snooty as I've never done anything like this before, but right from the moment we stepped in we were put at ease. I especially want to express my thanks to our waitress for the night, Greta, who went above and beyond to make our experience so special! She was so warm and friendly and professional, and I can't thank her enough. Might need to wait a few paychecks before we go back, but we certainly will be!

This was the most perfect meal for my anniversary. Dany was the most lovely waiter and made us feel very at home. He even moved us to a better seat in the restaurant so we had a better view. The food was so delicious words become paltry things when trying to describe it. This restaurant is amazing in every way imaginable. The service & attention you receive makes you feel like royalty. The cocktails are so artfully crafted that every sip is a delight you hope never ends. The preparation and presentation of each course is a work of art. If you get the chance to dine here, do it!

We had dinner at the restaurant last night for my daughter’s birthday and had the most fantastic evening. The food was absolutely gorgeous as was the service - Jessica our waitress was wonderfully attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Not a cheap night out but worth every penny and would definitely recommend. Seeing London beneath turn from day to night was beautiful - we will most definitely be back! Thanks to all the staff for a truly lovely experience 😊

The atmosphere was great, food was nice, but very limited choices and the service was questionable. We kept getting served other people's orders and it was weird after a few times. Happy to have been there once, but will think twice before going there again. Totally worth it for the views. If you want to go out on the balcony, you have to be there before 6pm as they shut the doors at 6PM.

We went for the tasting menu. The service was impeccable, as you would expect from a restaurant like this. The food presentation was amazing. We had cocktails and they were very tasty. However, the taste of the food was a bit of a let down. The flavours are mediocre and not as good as we expected. Overall it’s not too bad, as we went for an occasion so the vibe mattered more.

  • 5/5 Jamie R. 1 year ago on Google
This restaurant was the higher end of the two options inside the walkie talkie. It was phenomenal and great views of course. The menu is limited but definitely worth the experience. The cocktails were great as well. Greta was our server and she was fantastic. She checked up on us to make sure everything was great and definitely made our night perfect. I ordered the crab appetizer and the gnocchi main. My friend got the risotto appetizer and the Kobe for her main. For desert we got the chocolate bar as Greta recommended and I got the cheese plate as well. Everything was great and we will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in London.

Cannot fault the service of the restaurant. The location is top notch and on a clear day you have views of the whole city. The staff were very polite, accomodating and clearly very knowledgeable! The sommelier gave great recommendations and the wine complemented all the dishes brilliantly. The presentation of the food is fun and exciting, maintaining a high standard without being stuffy. The food itself was sometimes a little under or over-seasoned but definitely had a wow factor. Overall it's definitely worthwhile if you're looking for somewhere where you can dine finely overlooking London. Would recommend

Found this restaurant through a written recommendation on a blog. Decided to give it a try considering it was in the Sky Garden. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed it for our anniversary dinner. Drinks, food, and dessert; all were exceptional! Small gourmet plates very well presented and delicious. Jessica attended us. She was very professional and courteous. We would definitely visit again if we go back to London.

Overall it was ok, but was expecting much more higher service for a dinner for two of 220£. And we didn't drink alcohol, which would lead up to 300£ per couple. Yes of course you have to pay for view as it was amazing, let down was sky garden was closed that evening so we could enjoy walk... Food was ok, can't say it was excellent, but matured duck was amazing!!!! Food was well served in a special way. Would not recommend as it will be cheaper to enjoy just sky garden with bars on it and just having some drink and enjoying good views will be more reasonable than spending for a lot for dinner and a bottle of wine for minimum of 40£. Forks and knifes are not wrapped, just left on table, some small things, but it felt like average pub, not like fancy restaurant of dinner for £100. But at the end you have to pay for view!!!! Great experience, but only once....
