Our experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant left us feeling underwhelmed. Despite the hype, our night was marked by lengthy delays and underwhelming service. When we arrived for our reservation, our table wasn't ready, and we had to wait an additional 40 minutes before we were seated. To make matters worse, the tablecloth had not been changed from the previous diners as there were water spills on both sides. After finally being seated, we waited an additional 20 minutes before receiving the food menu, even though we had asked for the wine list. When the wine list finally arrived, it was an extensive list of options that would require multiple inquiries from us, but with staff looking so busy, you felt your presence was intrusive. Overall, we spent an hour waiting to be seated and attended to. We were unimpressed by the atmosphere, which was loud and noisy. Although the food was good, it wasn't exceptional as we've had more interesting dishes at other restaurants, whether starred or not. Nothing about this place felt special or different, and the price tag was steep. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the number of diners, and the place felt and looked blatantly overbooked. Not on my list of highly recommended restaurants.

Awesome. Fairly priced lunch menu for a true Michelin star experience. Great service and great and unique food. All of our dishes were great, can't name one that stood out because honestly they were all awesome. Place is well designed highly recommended.

Terrible experience. My expectation was so high but I fell in one of my worst experience. Food, service and how they treated me to give them unfortunately one star because they deserve 0.I was alone and my bill was 160£,I tried 2 starters,2 mains and one of the best glass of red but.......nothing to do.I couldn't enjoy the food didn't follow my expectation.

We had the most incredible set lunch on 23rd December. The staff were fantastic and gave us exceptional service. The food was amazing and was excellent value. We will be back!

I cannot fault the exceptional service or the delicious food. Every single mouthful was amazing. And I can’t remember the name of my mocktail but I know I had 3…. So good. Every dish was explained and what the ingredients were. They accommodated my allergy to dairy and gave me the same dishes as my friend without dairy. It is a place I will definitely eat at again, slowly work my way through the dining options

Avoid the vegan menu! £95 per head was a very high price for the quality we were served. One of the two mains was a set of boiled and then vaguely roasted root vegetables with some very flat sauce, disappointing to say the least. The other main was a risotto so salty my fiance had to drink half a bottle of water to flush it down, and I just couldn't bring myself eat it. One of the deserts was a sorbet, sorbet often being the only vegan desert available at any restaurant, it's disappointing to see it on a menu boasting some creativity. The second desert was equally a sorbet, on top of a tofu chocolate parfait, I am a dark chocolate lover and I am sorry to say that the parfait was plain and lacked taste. In conclusion, don't pretend and add a vegan tasting menu to your options because it's a good commercial option. Please do the right thing and hire a vegan chef.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Pollen Street Social. The space is elegant, modern, and comfortable. The cocktails were perfectly made. The service was stellar. And the food exceeded expectations. Ingredients, flavors, presentations…all fabulous. I highly recommend Pollen Street Social when you want a lovely dinner out.

Fantastic food with lovely layered flavours across all courses. The service was too notch, your glass (be it wine or water) is never empty, the staff pays attention to every individual on every table to make sure they are enjoying the dinner! The staff there was also easy to talk to and fun and jovial. Definitely recommend for a date night or a dinner with a small group of friends or colleagues!

In my experience vegetarian options (even at high end restaurants) are often bland and boring. However this was not the case at Pollen street social. I ordered from the 3 course vegetarian menu and my food was delicious, full of flavour and beautifully presented. I will definitely return as I would like to try the vegetarian tasting menu next.

"Pollen Street is the best lunch in London by a country mile! The whole experience is world class and wows every client I've ever taken there. Staff treat you as a valued member of the PS family no matter how large or small your budget is. Yesterday was my 28th lunch visit, I've never experienced anything less than 5* service, could not recommend highly enough."

I celebrated my birthday here with my husband-we are both foodies and been to many fine dining restaurants and this is the best-every dish was amazing and the service was perfect, the best restaurant I have been to in London…it was my first time here but my husband has been many times HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great tasting menu, nice ambiance but awkward service. The waiters kept pushing for drinks but didn’t explain the menu. I am giving them 5 stars because I really enjoyed the food, especially all the small bites prior to our appetizers and mains. The Parmesan risotto, their bread, and desserts are also incredible!! Would definitely come back.

Overall we had the 4 course meal and cannot fault the taste, the fish dishes especially were a highlight for me. The service on the night did seem slightly slow compared to what I would have expected but this I am quite sympathic to as I noticed a large influx of tables appeared at the same time so this made sense. The service and mannerism however was always pleasant and made the wait bearable.

Inflexible, rude and bureaucratic. Average fare. We are a neighbour business and we booked a client lunch there. They do have a cancellation policy but we were late by an hour and when we called 23 hours before booking, they informed us that even if we reschedule our booking 40 gbp per person will be payable.. how much ever we pleaded with them that our clients want to postpone the lunch, they charged us 160 gbp even if we wanted to postpone. Later we went to the restaurant and their staff told us that they have very rigid systems.. it was shocking how they run their supposedly fine restaurant as a high street bank... This was a shame especially in these times when businesses are trying to show their kind side... avoid this place!!

The chefs were so lovely and answered all our questions - even the ones my mom asked about the cutlery and kitchen! She got lost on the way and they even offered to try to find her and help her get to the restaurant. Really lovely and very attentive. Each of the twelve courses was incredible. Loved sitting at the counter and watching the finishing touches/kitchen at work. Had the chef’s counter experience and they truly explained everything in depth and showed how knowledgeable and passionate they are about the food and the process.

Amazing food! Brilliant service, we were treated like royalty. I went there for my best friend’s birthday and I had the vegetarian tasting menu with the wine pairing. You don’t often get fine dining restaurants that cater to veggies but this one did and exceeded my expectations, well deserves its Michelin star. Will be visiting again. Thank you to the chef and the whole team for giving us an unforgettable day and making everything so special for my closest friend’s 25th birthday celebration.

Went today for lunch. Extremely disappointed. Underseasoned bland food, long waits between each course. 3rd time eating at this place so I'm surprised.

I like the fact that the food wasn't overly seasoned. The lamb was tender and tasty. Everything beautifully presented. Service was good, professional but friendly. Wine was a bit pricy. Lunch menu was excellent value. Will definitely return.

This true is an excellent example of a Michelin stared restaurant. The afternoon tea small bites before our starter were stunning, along with everything else. The truffle chocolate with fois gras shavings was one of the most indulgent but delicious things over ever eaten! We went for the 3 courses and then shared our starters and mains so we got to try more dishes, as recommended by our fantastic waiter. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommend and I would not hesitate to go back.

I had a fantastic lunch at the Pollen Street Social restaurant recently. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the service was excellent. The food was simply delicious and each dish was artistically presented. The staff were very knowledgeable about the ingredients and flavors used in the food, and were able to accommodate my dietary preferences. I appreciate how they go out of their way to make the dining experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience.

We were lucky enough to eat in the private dining room. The whole service was very well choreographed and the food was absolutely delicious. Very delicate but undeniable flavours. Hoping to return one day to see how well this restaurant has developed. If you get the chance to experience this place grab it with both hands!

This is our 5th time visiting Pollen Street Social, it never fails to deliver, starting with cocktails made by the very fabulous Spike , he has such knowledge and passion about cocktail making its contagious. Our food was sublime and service impeccable, we asked for recommendations on the wine to go with each dish, each was on point! Even finding a red to go with my bream. Highly recommend and will be going again.

It’s a Michelin restaurant , and it did not disappoint . The sommelier Johnason so deserving his gold grape pin on his lapel, I gave him a price range and our food choices for recommendation of a white wine , without hesitation he came up with 4 different grape types from different continents, and gave each wine a brief and precise descriptions of their characteristics , we are very pleased with the Pinot blanc from Alsace . But don’t go look for Johnason on your next visit , you can find him at London Four seasons. The highlight of the amazing set lunch is the desert , it’s so heavenly ,I thought I’m in heaven , I had to thank the patissier in person , shame I did not get the name of the desert , dear PSS Admin , if you’re reading this , can you pls give me the name of the desert. Thank you in advance .

Having never had the gastronomical experience of a Michelin starred restaurant before, this was a fabulous way to pop my cherry! I went with 2 friends early on a Tuesday evening and once we'd established which restaurant it was in Pollen Street (there are two Socials) it was pure 'star treatment' from the moment you walk in. The menu read like something off professional Masterchef and to be quite honest, apart from knowing diners allergies, was almost superfluous. I won't spoil it for anyone thinking of booking up but from the moment 'Afternoon Tea' appeared, you're in for an Alice In Wonderland feast. The only tiny thing that we could fault was our very attentive waiter had a wonderful Italian accent but we could only catch the odd word of what we were eating....but overall a 5-star experience

Seriously, I am usually very generous with reviews, however on this occasion I had a $30 rump steak that was at first raw and after ministrations from the Chef, no cook, it turned out to be the toughest piece of steak I have ever had the misfortune to have been served. Will certainly not be a customer here again. Others of my party ordered Uncles Favourite and they were happy with their meals. Stiff for me I suppose.

Another of London’s top Michelin restaurants. The Tasting Menu never fails to meet our expectations and the service is friendly and skilled. Highly recommended.

This was my second time eating here and I was even more impressed. This again is another restaurant that should be upgraded to 2 Michelin star status but is yet to receive it. Hopefully it is around the corner. We sat at the kitchen counter, which meant we could see the chefs at work, including owner Jason Atherton, which added lots of fun to the experience. Plate after plate of delicately and elegantly crafted dishes arrived at the table. The tomato consommé kicked the meal off to a fab start. The bread was freshly baked. The scallop and roe dish was one of the best seafood dishes I have tasted. The ‘Golden Nut’ was a rich, indulgent delight. Delicious petit fours brought the evening to a close. You can also find some of the coolest cocktails in London here - the Penicillin is well worth trying. The interior is one of my favourites as well. Will be back again soon :)

I visited as a solo diner on a busy Saturday afternoon for the three-course lunch (note: if you want amuse bouche and petit fours, you'll need to opt for the extended lunch menu, otherwise bread is the only extra). I paid the supplement fee for the shellfish raviolo, which is absolutely worth doing. The bisque was intensely flavoured, while the mushrooms, lobster, parmesan foam, and caviar provided extra texture and dimensions. One small critique: it was a little overseasoned (lots of salty elements on one plate), but otherwise, this was brilliant. The lamb for the main was beautifully tender, the sauce rich, the basil puree fragrant and complimenting the protein nicely. The pomme puree was also silky, smooth, and had just the right amount to go with the meat on the plate. The dessert was not as good as the savoury courses but still very nice: a pink peppercorn Panna cotta, with perfect texture and strawberries. The pink peppercorn was an interesting touch and it really came through with each mouthful, just the right amount. The strawberries themselves were so-so and were a bit of a bland addition to an otherwise very enjoyable dessert. £49.50 for three courses is very reasonable (pre-supplement) for the level of cooking here. Service was friendly and professional, while the setting is smart but casual. Based on the quality of the starter and main, I wouldn't be surprised if they get a second star before long.

Might be the best tasting menu I've ever had. Completely blew me away. There was a rice and milk sorbet between the lamb and the desserts with olive oil and salt, that was like a blend between savoury and sweet. Completely delicious. Also the sommelier was absolutely top teir, the restaurant was decently busy but he still took the time to go into massive detail about the wines and came across as a cool guy. The pairing was beautifully done aswell, i can remember the flavour of the wine paired with the langoustine and the lamb as much as I can remember the flavour of the food itself. Inspired. Must be in the conversation for 2 stars surely.

A very nice restaurant I will go back every time when I go to London! Try for lunch first coz the price is more affordable ! But not easy to make a reservation coz it’s always full! Located heart of London, good to walk around after lunch! Food and service are very good! Do t order too much coz they will give you many free snack!! And the bread are super yummy !!

I was very well pleased today at the Pollen Street Social, the whole tasting menu was really worth the Michelin star. I was really impressed with the sequence of the courses, each one had at least one element that was transcending you to the next one without interfering with the the whole experience in a very elegant way. Although the restaurant was quite busy the staff managed to please everyone without missing a single detail about every dish.

Exceptional meal with wonderful service. We had so many appetisers and little extras, it made an ‘expensive’ meal seem like value money for the experience. We would love to return.

My favorite restaurant in London. It’s a perfect balance between foodies and service. The one star Michelin restaurant delivers every time (been here about 6 times in the last 3 months) and every time I left wanting to come back. Their lunch deal is a great value - 37 pounds for a 3 course meal - and you can get wine pairing for an additional cost. The ox cheek is my favorite main course. The crab salad from the appetizer. And ice cream from the desert Menu. Love the the caviar and mouse appetizers at the begging of each meal, and champagne ice at the end of each meal. Fish and duck are great off the non-lunch menu. The atmosphere is sophisticated and service is always excellent. Enjoy!

Not my usual restaurant and type of cuisine, however I have been very positively surprised by the food. I had a starter and a main from the vegetarian menu and the pistacchio mousse and I really enjoyed. Setting is formal, bill is expensive but we had a great evening.

We have been to many restaurants in London, including those operated by well known chefs, but Pollen Street Social is our favourite by far and it's always nice to see Jason Atherton himself controlling service and talking to customers...the fixed price lunch menu has to be one of the best in town.

Very disappointed that due to an un avoidable Covid 19 situation that the restaurant were not able to move my booking to another date, despite offering to have them charge my card for today’s unavoidable cancellation. We are living in very uncertain times & despite coming to Pollen St for years because of their service I feel very let down by them today.
