This evening I went with friends to Dirty Bones. This is the second time I’ve been, was expecting a good evening. Between us we had a snack each and a main and a side, and both my friends got desserts. All the food was good, but not amazing. Wouldn’t be desperate to come back. My friends particularly enjoyed the mac daddy burger and the mac and cheese. I really enjoyed the cheeseburger dumplings. I imagine it’s great for a brunch here. In general had a great evening but the service was poor all around. At every point of our meal it wasn’t clear who our waiter or waitress was. We had to continue to try and catch the attention of someone when we wanted to order, check where our food was and pay the bill. When we ordered desserts we got one extra cheesecake we didn’t order and the ice cream with 2 scoops only came with one. It was quickly corrected but when we got our bill the extra cheesecake was charged to us. Our main waiter kept telling us to wait and spent all his table with the table next to us which was frustrating. Overall, okay experience, nothing special. Better places in the area for this type of food.

Dirty Bones is like visiting a friend's Brooklyn style apartment for lunch but with better food. The food menu focuses on American comfort food including chicken & waffles, tater tots, mac ‘n’ cheese, blueberry pancakes, fish tacos, burgers and caesar salad. A popular choice on the weekends is the £40pp brunch and the £15pp unlimited chicken wings on Wednesday. The portion sizes are unfortunately not American style but squarely average. The blueberry pancakes (£10) were the most memorable dish - a stack of three light and fluffy dripped in maple syrup. A great addition to this dish would be the option to add crispy bacon at an extra cost. The skinny fries where crunchy but there was not enough of them to justify the £4.50. The service is efficient, friendly and warm. A good spot for some American comfort food but overrated when compared to Breakfast Club and Electric Diner.

The food and atmosphere is amazing in this restaurant. Love meat? You'll love the food, oh and cocktails too!! We went for an after show meal on NYE. The photos were after we had devoured the short back rib, buffalo chicken, chips, mac n cheese, lamb chips...

I really enjoyed brunch with my friends last Saturday. The food is pretty good and I really liked the coffee. Our waiter David was very attentive and the other member of staff who greeted me was very friendly. The only reason I won't give a 5 star rating is because the place is very very busy on Saturdays which made holding a conversation very tricky. Then again it's in Soho, it's always busy.

The bottomless alcohol brunch was one of the best I have experienced, the staff were attentive and quick to fill up drinks. The service was fast and friendly. There isn't much in the way of gluten-free options on the brunch menu, however the steak and eggs was very nice and the chicken and waffles with the egg was also lovely from the small bit i tasted. For once thus restaurant cooked the steak how I requested. The table was only for 1.5 hours which did seem quite fast, but with the quick-service it was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend and go again.

The staff was friendly and the place itself is nice. The overall food was nice but I just felt for the price it really wasn't worth it. Pleasant experience but nothing wow that would make me want to return anytime soon.

Limited Vegan/ vegetarian options but great taste! The burger was juicy and the mac n cheese balls are a must have! Deep fried balls served with a sweet & sour Chutney is just delicious! Dim lit, perfect for a quite and cozy evening! Was strolling after a couple of drinks at a pub nearby and hopped in! Quick service.

It is tasty food but for burger and chips it's at the top of what I would want to pay. At £15 for a burger with no side included I was expecting something massive that I would struggle to finish, but it was an adequate portion and somewhat underwhelming. It was almost like a burger I would get given at a family BBQ, no bad thing but nothing to wow me either. I wouldn't put people off from going there, but at £50 for 2 burgers and chips and a warm bottle of sparkling water, I would try somewhere else first

Amazing service from start to finish with a special shout out to Megan our brilliant waitress who was accommodating, fun and swift. Delicious mocktails. Get the beef rib and any of the burgers. Highly recommend cookie dough waffle to end the meal 😊

The service was excellent t here and the food was tasty. I ordered the spicy lamb crispy fries (which I loved the most), the Mac and cheese and the spicy wings. The cheeseburger dumplings were just ok - but overall I would recommend trying this place, the food really is very satisfying and the staff were lovely!

A great place to have a decent fulfilling meaty treaty time. We were a group of 4 that went for lunch. The service was great... The menu isn't anything complicated, just decent food and decent portions.

Really nice spot for a burger before going out or to a show. The food is very tasty. We saw on social media that someone described it as the best burger in London, which is a bit of a stretch. The fries with lamb bits were great. Best to avoid near the door in colder weather.

Went by myself on a Tuesday night before a concert. Sat by a very friendly waiter who brought me a bottle of "tequila" i.e tap water lol. Ordered the fried chicken with a Mac and Cheese small plate. Food arrived very quickly. The chicken was tender with a very tasty coating and some dipping sauces. Three very generous pieces. The Mac and Cheese wasn't bad. Perhaps needed a little more flavour. Would be a good place to go with friends to fully enjoy but quick service and decent food.

The chicken and waffles here were absolutely delicious! So tender and flavourful. The cheesy truffle fries were also nice. Atmosphere was cosy and service was pleasant - will be revisiting perhaps in Shoreditch next time!

Went here with my dad for the £15 bottomless wings Wednesday. Very nice little starting platter. The Mac & cheese balls were AMAZING. Only two choices of wings (on the website there are 3) but they are both so good. You get a franks hot one and like a sticky Korean one. Get 9 (sometimes 10) in a portion. Wings were amazing. Very tender and had a good amount of sauce, not too much. The blue cheese dip was incredible I could have drunk it. The only thing which was frustrated us was the service. One of the women servers were amazing and very attentive with a food attitude. One of the male servers, I do not know if he was new or just genuinely clueless but he was not helpful. We asked him what is the max wings people have had, and he said like 2 rounds, so 18 wings. That is definitely not right 😂. Also there was multiple times he took our order for the next set of wings and he just never put it through. I saw where the computer was and he just wasn’t doing it. One time it took 20 minutes to get our next plate. In that time he had come over 3 times and asked if we want to order another, acting like we havnt already told him yes previously. Overall the food is amazing (I saw the Mac and cheese burger and omg that looked good) but the service made it lack. Also, big complaint. They cut the disabled cord in the toilet so it now hangs about 1.5 meters off the floor and does not have the triangle attached. I am disabled and if I was to fall in the bathroom I would have no way of getting help. It is also a legal requirement to have the call bell hanging to the floor.

Unlimited Wings Wednesday is a great offer and it's halal! Gochujang wings tasted fantastic. The wings were tender and cooked fresh to order. There were 2 other flavours on offer so you can rotate between them. One of which is a monthly special. They were Frank's hot sauce flavour which comes with blue cheese sauce and this months special flavour is marmite BBQ. They are accompanied with a one of plate of hearty nachos. The atmosphere was very lively although the music was a bit too loud as it was hard to hear the conversation. The place was full so I would recommend booking ahead of time. The service is brilliant! Particularly one server who kept making sure we were looked after by asking if we liked the food and asked what we needed throughout. He would make sure we got it too. There was not a time where we had to wait for the next portion of wings. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but he was of Asian ethnicity, with short hair and a neat beard with a very friendly attitude. Thank you!

If you want chicken done correctly, this is the spot for you. You can never go wrong with the chicken and waffles. If you want something with a bit of a kick the lamb fries are a must side. The Mutts Nuts and Topdog cocktails are a great pairing too. Atmosphere is chill and the music is always on point. Can’t forget shout out to Ken for the amazing service as always, in addition to the wider team who are all very welcoming!

Chicken and waffles was delicious and cocktails were amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful, allowed us to move tables when we wanted to sit elsewhere and allowed us to order a different drink when we weren't keen on the one cocktail (not their fault, Bloody Mary's just clearly aren't for me!) Loved this restaurant and would 100% return!

The overall atmosphere was enjoyable, though the music was a bit too loud for our taste. The service had its highs and lows - a friendly welcome, but a somewhat disinterested order-taker, and we had to remind them for the bill. The menu, typical for an American grill, lacked in vegetarian and vegan options. The vegan burger was average, resembling something homemade, and the Mac Daddy burger was a bit overcooked. The standout items were the fries, which came in generous portions, and the delicious fried pickles. However, the overall quality of the food did not justify the high prices. While we understand the prime location, the expense didn't align with the food quality.

The food was decent. The waffles weren't that great. They were very soft, and they only give half a portion. The chips were served cold. It was okay overall.

The food was good, but it took 45 mins to get 4 burgers & one of the vegan burgers was wrong. We were also served the beer in this picture that was all head & charged £6.05 for it, they we even made a joke when they brought it to the table. The ambience is good and we enjoyed our food when it arrived, but I just can’t forgive the beer!

Had lovely cocktails in here after a walk round London, would recommend for a drink. Did not eat so cannot comment on food. Chilled atmosphere

SO good, will definitely come here again. The fries and chicken burger were delicious, and for £10 on a weekday lunch set, it was very worth it. The staff were super friendly and accommodating as well. The cheeseburger dumplings were the only thing that could be improved as they were a little undercooked and lacked flavour. Everything else was 10/10

This was my second time at dirty bones, and it was just as good as I remember! The truffle cheese fries are a must-try. Our waitress was really kind and observant. It’s the perfect stop for some comfort food before a night at the theatre.

Highly recommend if you're looking for a filling feed of soul food and nice cocktails, definitely come during happy hour(s) and you'll get great cocktails at reasonable prices! The chicken and waffle was exceptional! Probably some of the better fried chicken in London!

I regularly use Dirty Bones both in Kingly court and Denman Street. I took a group of friends to lunch on Tuesday, who incidentally are all in the hospitality game and we were all blown away by the friendly and efficient service. Our waitress (Alice) couldn’t do enough for us and we all agreed that this type of service is unfortunately rare in London hospitality these days. Well done Dirty Bones, you should start a training course on service excellence! Top class. Keep up the good work 👍

Very quick service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We have tried the ribs (tender and juicy) with the BBQ tacos and Caesar salad. Tacos were ok. For sides we have ordered the truffle and salty-onion fries. I would recommend the truffle ones. Overall, good experience.

Wow!! The food was AMAZING. This place would have gotten 5 stars if the service didn't take SO long. It took long to get seated then we had to sit with another party at the same table. Our food took FOREVER to come out but it was surely worth the wait. Best chicken & waffles I've had by far!! I eat chicken & waffles in each city I visit and I did not expect London to have the best out of all the places in the USA I've been to. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the portion was good. I just wish that there we a full waffle instead of a half because then I was left with a whole chicken breast and nomore waffles since each chicken breast was so much larger than each waffle. The truffle cheese fries were BOMB I could eat them all day! Seasoned perfectly once again. My husband said this his chicken sandwich was perfect. The pricing wasn't bad either! I think it came up to almost $50 for 2. Overall, this restaurant is mouthwatering good! I can still remember all the flavors so vividly. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in London again!

Really enjoyed it here. Went for the Mac Daddy Burger which was awesome and had a wide range of sides amongst us (padron peppers, crispy lamb fries, cheesy truffle fries, skinny fries, cheeseburger dumplings, Buffalo hot wings....think that's all!) all of which left us very full and satisfied

Great vibe and atmosphere and located in a great location. Highly recommend this for drinks or even a date. The staff were great and there was a small issue with our booking but they were understanding and corrected their mistake promptly. Definitely, a tough place to get a booking to book in advance! Drinks were great, food however lacked flavour. The chicken, in particular, was disappointing, the dumplings, however, were great!

Walked up to Dirty Bones without a booking on a Saturday morning and was able to get a table for 2 for brunch with no issues. The food was amazing - we had chicken and waffles. It was really tasty and a good portion size, and the staff were all really friendly. Would definitely go back!

"The best burgers in Soho." Can not fault Dirty Bones Soho the best burgers in Soho. A nice size menu thats not overwhelming and plenty of drinks to choose from. The burgers melt in your mouth 🤤 the Mac N Cheese ball is the best starter on the menu. Overall Dirty Bones Soho is the best burger and is a great place to go for all occasions.

Went here as we had booked a theatre show and read previous google reviews - never been before. Absolutely incredible afternoon at Dirty Bones. Food was gorgeous but for us, the service went above and beyond. The morning of our reservation we got a personal text to check in and for any special dietary or occassions - casually texted back to say no but it just so happens its our anniversary so mentioned this. The manager Michael made our happy accident the most special day, from the moment we walked in it felt like we had known him years. Super chatty and bubbly, welcomed by name and rememberred about us saying its our anniversary. Brought out a special treat for us too! Service from everyone was lovely, we got served so quickly and food come out not long after. Will definately be returning for our next trip to london! Thank you <3
