Tiny portions! Also couldn't find me and cold. Β£50 worth of take away to feed 4. Fed 2... Also had the audacity to automatically put a stealth Β£5 tip onto the order before you have even tested them out. Nope never again.

Poor. Brown and greasy food, inauthentic and sugary. Even my kids didn't like it. Looks they spent their effort on the marketing rather than the food. If you want bog standard Chinese takeaway fare, Winner down the road is cheaper and better (check the reviews). Meanwhile Oriental Tasty Express just yards away on East Street offers authentic and far superior food for the same money (again, check the reviews); for a bit more money you have the excellent Dragon Castle 2 min walk away.

I ordered food for delivery with an estimated delivery time of 60 minutes. After 80 minutes, the food had not arrived and I was unable to contact anyone at the Elephant and Castle branch and the delivery status had not changed. The Kentish Town branch was unable to help. The food arrived 90 minutes after ordering (30 minutes after expected) but was reasonable. I would not order from Zing again and would not recommend it.

Save your time and order Chinese elsewhere. I hardly write reviews, but as a Chinese person I am bitterly disappointed. Even though it was 50% off through Deliveroo, I feel robbed because the food was inedible. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was dry and wrapped in chewy batter, the rice was half raw, greasy and although the description clearly said 'Edamame' beans, they use peas instead tasted weeks old. There is unfortunately nothing good I can say about the meal itself, apart from the fact that Deliveroo was kind enough to refund me in credits.

Tasteless overpriced with small portions. Delivery driver seems to have problems following simple instructions or reading clear signage. I have ordered from here 3/4 times. NEVER AGAIN. The last was the final straw. After placing order online and given an estimate of 40 min arrival. Waited for an hour only to receive an anonymous text from the driver asking me to call him as he had run out of credit and couldn't find the address or get into the property. No other delivery service has had this problem. When he finally arrived the green curry was upside down in the bag and had leaked. Everything was cold and sodden. Called up to demand a full refund. They offered to send a replacement meal but i refused as it seemed like more trouble than it was worth. Considering the pricing the quality of food and taste is cheap and lacks any depth , particularly the sickly dips that went with the squid.

I have ordered take away twice from this restaurant. I have recently stopped eating meat and I was so worried that I wouldn't find a decent Chinese place that would have enough veggie options. I'm so pleased I found Zing Zing. Yes, it's a bit more money than I would usually spend on a take away, but the quality of the food is good and the variety is great. I especially like the mushroom sesame toast and the miso aubergine. Will definitely order again.

Loved it. Ordered for collection from the Highbury and Islington branch on Blackstock Road, and was ready not long after I arrived. Really tasty food, big portion sizes (meaning I probably ordered too much but all worth it) and so nice to have actually tasty, non-greasy veggie/vegan Chinese grub. The Firecracker Cauliflower in particular was amazing. Will definitely be heading there again soon.

I see what they are trying to do here but it doesn’t work.. everything tastes the same, not sure if it’s the container they put thefood in but it tastes like burnt plastic.

Stir fry we ordered was quite good, probably one of the better take seats in the area

Food was below average at best. The fact that they consider chicken as a vegan dish was enough to ensure I will never be ordering from there again. The customer service is laughable, after calling to try and resolve the matter and selecting a number of options, was told that there were no operators available. It was made clear that they don't entirely value the customer.

Zing Zings is by far the best Chinese takeaway in London, someone in our house share orders from them at least once a week. The vegetarian dishes are amazing, i always want to order more than one cos i can never choose. It is always so fresh and always arrives quickly.

Ordered from Zing Zing from Deliveroo in Brixton. I have never had food poisining before, yet had it for 3 days after eating their food. Most likely the food had been kept at un unsuitable temperature for too long. With a delivery-only service, the cleanliness and quality of the cooking facilities can only be guessed at - my guess is dire...

It is often difficult to find good vegetarian and vegan options when ordering Chinese, but I have to admit Zing-Zing has outdone itself! The range of options is quite wide for a non vegetarian/vegan only restaurant, and all of the dishes we have tried fo far are super tasty. The Crispy Oyster Mushroom Pancakes are definitely one of our favorite dishes in all London and a must try even for those who do not follow a veggie-only diet! The quality of the ingredients is very good and all orders are ready very promptly! The staff is super kind and friendly, too!

As a vegetarian (and now Vegan) it's hard to get a decent variety of options at a Chinese so when I received a flyer through my door offering a specific Chinese vegan/veggie menu I had to try it. I was hugely impressed at the quality and imagination of their 'ZZ Green' menu.....the mushroom toast was quite possibly the most delicious thing (why has no-one figured out a veggie version of a prawn toast until now - well done ZZ!); their black bean Tofu dish and the Miso Aubergine were both incredibly rich and tasty, and the chow mein with cauliflower was a different and more interesting take on the usual bog standard chow mein. ITheir ordering online process was clear and the speed of my delivery was great at just 20 minutes later - so all in all a great first (and second) experience. Veggie's - go try it.

I order from the Elephant and Castle branch at least once every 2 weeks. The Veggie/Vegan options are so so good. Especially the Sesame Mushroom toast. Once or Twice I've had a mix up, but they always fix it and usually with a free something alongside. Really great place.
