Drove minutes to get here only to be told you're not allowed in alone. What absolute nonsense? If you're alone in town and trying to get a vibe of nightlife + hopefully meet people and you're not allowed into one of the atmospheres where you can meet people, what's the point? This policy needs a reality check, guys.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! This is quite literally the worst place I have ever been to!!! It took them 15 minutes and reminder to bring a beer. It was a can of beer...they literally took 15 minutes to bring a can of beer from the fridge. I had to get up and chase them before they brought it. Also, AVOID THE FOOD AT ALL COSTS!!! I have never seen worse food than I got here (see pictures). I don't even understand how you can serve prison food and charge people 9.50?? They also did not remove any of the beer cans or food off the table for 90 minutes. Their idea of service is to let finished drink and not eaten food accumulate on the table indefinitely. HORRIBLE!! AVOID!!!

The experience was ok overall. It was the only club opened so late on a Sunday night so we did not have other options too choose from. The shots are way to small and there was too much smoke... The staff was nice. Someone was trying to sell me parfumes / shampoos and so on in the men's restroom. That was a very odd experience (see video). He insisted to get a tip and so on...

Lovely area with lots of tables and colourful lights but the drink prices are extortionate - £3 for a lemonade and £13 for cocktails!

Charged £20 for entry on Christmas Eve, was pretty much empty. Drinks were expensive. The bouncers were suggestive with us, and the whole place was filled with sleazy men. £40 was stolen from my handbag and I must have lost my provisional license ID whilst there. I've called the phone number numerous times and noone has picked up. It is important for me to have my ID so please let me know if it is still there. I was there only 4 nights ago.

Bought an early bird ticket for the event on 27/10 only to waste time queuing up then be told “you’re at the wrong door”. There was no particular details about the specific entry point on this ticket and when we moved to the correct door not only did we have to queue all over again but the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful so we left anyway. The place actually looked dead inside so I’m glad we went elsewhere and didn’t waste any more money at such a bad venue. I will be complaining to management about this ticket issue and the ticket provider; I want my money back.

On the 18th Nov I came with a group of 6 others (men and women). There was another woman who reported being touched on their waist whilst waiting for the bar and the bar staff reacted by kicking my boyfriend out of the bar, now normally if I saw a man being kicked out for touching a woman I would be okay with this except when we asked for evidence of this they said they hadn’t reviewed the cctv to verify it was my boyfriend. The security ruined our night and made accusations before reviewing the cctv and we had to convince them to go and watch the cctv as my boyfriend was with us the entire time- when they FINALLY did review cctv they realised it wasn’t my boyfriend and let him get on with his night but the mood had already been ruined. We rejoined the drag show which we won tickets for and the security team came and told the victim the suspect had already been kicked out and The girl that made the claim came over mid show to apologise (although she had no need to, im so grateful she did and I wish her ALL the best). The security team then came and took another guy from our group out side for questioning and accused him of touching the girl. Again he did not as we were with him at the time of the incident. They demanded he hand over his ID in case the victim pressed charges. When we asked him what they had seen on cctv they only said they could see his arm reach out forwards (not on the waist like the initial claim was). They told us they already had the ID of the other suspect so why did they need our friends ID?? After about 15-20 mins of back and forth and wild accusations at our friend the security team decided to review a different cctv angle which they never told us they had and they only then discovered it wasn’t him. We would like to wish the victim all the best and please know there was no hard feelings from me and my friends and we are so sorry this happened to you and ruined your night. The victim deserves an apology from the security team after they reassured her the suspect had been kicked out when they hadn’t and security were continuing to kick men out the bar without reviewing the cctv beforehand. She deserves an apology for being lied to and being made to feel safe when she wasn’t. We would also like an apology from the security team on this night as they ruined our night. We won tickets to this show back in April and due to their negligence they totally ruined our night when our friends traveled 3 hours to come to this show. I’m appalled at the behaviours of the security team, making accusations before reviewing evidence you have easy access to is disgusting and pointing fingers at innocent people was vile behaviour.

This was without a doubt the worst bar I've ever been to. The entry price was in line with other venues in the area, but half the venue was closed, this was a Saturday night and the dance floor was blocked off by the DJ. The 2nd bar wasn't open. It felt like you were in a holding pen. Most tables were left with spilt drinks on them. We had one very quick very expensive drink and left. Terrible. Please don't go here.

While on a night out there, my friend got spiked and the staff couldn’t have been more insensitive. While we were trying to help our friend in the bathroom stall, the staff only tried to hurry us out yelling for closure without once checking on her or showing any kind of worry about what had happened. Completely hypocritical since they had the whole “ask for Angela” in the stalls.

Disappointing on Friday 12th August couldn’t get a cab back home the bouncers did let me get back in the club to find my friends - felt it was very unprofessional for one of the bouncers to hug me then ask if I was single - creepy

Worst experience ever. Me and my girls had tickets for an event and because they did not accept her ID we could not got in. There were no indications whatsever in the ticket event about what types of ID they accept and the only explanation the rude bouncer gave us was NONE. We did understand the fact that they might not accept a british ID as they might think is fake, but the manners were the worst and the shouting and the disrespect was awful, leaving us with the worst experience ever and obviously not refund were given to none of us. I do not recommend it.

If only it was possible to rate it no stars. The general manager is rude and discriminatory. Do not pay a solitary British pound to get into this venue. They use a Spotify playlist instead of DJ, the floors are always sticky and overall hygiene is poor.

I went there on sunday night and was looked after by the female manager with curly hair. She was very professional and attentive. Great night great music and great service.

This weekend went to the event bashment x afrobeats for my BIRTHDAY we got in no problem this was a ticket event unfortunately my two friends who purchased tickets got in and was told by the bouncer it was the other entrance the other bouncers said you was in the right place so they came back and was not allowed access the bouncers couldnt give a resionable explanation as to why they told my friends the wrong information two of the bouncers one in particular a young man was extremely rude and made a false allegation that my friends where trying to beat him up this is ridiculous very unprofessional and rude will not be going back was very disappointing with the bouncers and how they handled the situation will not be returning and will highly recommend no one else go here either

The music was good but do not recommend going here as a young woman i did not feel safe its not the clubs fault but there were lots of older creepy men and my friend was harassed multiple times by one in particular.

Had a really good night on wednesday! Came with a few mates. Staff were realy helpful and helped us cchoose the best drinks to enjoy on our night. Thabk you! Also the securoty guard on that day was such a laugh will deffo bevback! Thbaks lighthouse!

What a vibe! A bit quiet on a Sunday in honesty but lovely staff and drinks were quite nice - happy hour pricing was good and music was absolutely on point. Very at ease in this place and defs plan on returning for a proper night out!

I attempted to bring business to an otherwise empty venue but was denied service because I was alone- told by the employee that they do not accept single patrons. Strange policy to apply on a quiet Monday evening and no signage on entrance or website advising of this rule.

I used to go to this venue when it was Bedroom Bar back in the day every Saturday and it was perfect every time! Still love it to this day. A great place, with great staff and great management! This venue is awesome. James the bar manager was really enthusiastic, energetic and welcome to my friends and I. The prices are standard for the area, but they do a lot of offers at the bar so if you are there with friends, you're rounds will be very well priced! Music was great the whole time, with a mix of old school garage classics as well as Brazilian music. There were different events happening so the music and the crowd changed throughout the night. They also provide plenty of hand sanitiser as well around the venue which is always good to see in venues these days. Thanks for the night out and for taking good care of me and my friends when we were there!

I’ve had a wonderful time, first of all, the first impression, Metro was more than a security, a wonderful host and very helpful member of staff. The drinks, thanks to Amos, next level, if you don’t believe it just pop in for a drink and some music . I will definitely come back and I hope to find the same staff. I will recommend this to everybody. Also, Jamie, very polite and professional. Having in consideration the service you are getting nowadays in London, I found the right place, they will take care of you.

Weak drinks, tried to make us pay £20 entry (haggled it down to £10 in the end, probably because most of my group were girls), and then tried to charge me £17.50 for a double kraken and coke. Sound system was whack too. Absolute jokers.

Lovely place for cocktails and happy hour. Wish there was a bit more afrobeat and hip hop music. Loved Amal’s Caipirinha and her good vibes! I’ve enjoyed my time there! Definitely coming back :)

I love to dance at this venue , with Forro Foundations, every Tuesday evening . There's antique wooden flooring, so it's perfect for our friendly crowd's sociable Forro dancing sessions! We all appreciate the enthusiastic staff and huge choice of drinks. You can really dance , celebrate and party here!

Amal’s piña Colada was absolutely amazing. Nice place for a night out. It would be nicer with afrobeat, bashment and dancehall music.

Paid 10 pounds for a bashment event got to the door and I’m told it is full and I have to pay 25 for another event. How can an event be full when I paid for a ticket???? The event organiser I wish I could tell him about his mother to his face DO NOT GO HERE

The most amazing mojitos here, we had normal mojitos and passionfruit mojitos and they were incredible and the bartender Poppy was so lovely!!

I had a ticket but the security guys asked to pay again , basically they said “ there are a lot of people so when can’t let you in unless you’re paying for cash! , that’s a bribery “ , please stay away from there, don’t waste your hard earned money .

Contray to the recents reviews, my experience was extremely positive… my friend and I were out for after work drinks a couple weeks ago and our server Ajia was very welcoming and friendly, she recommended excellent cocktails and she was spot on everytime! The music was a vibe, will definitely be coming back on the weekend for some more fun.

Nice friendly staff and security guards they know how to protect and party! everyone knows their role & they are great people. Nice drinks, nice vibes and music was very good too! People know how to party over there. 10/10

This is my first bar job and I honestly love it, all the staff at the lighthouse are so friendly, supportive and authentic. They are definitely not shy when it comes to throwing down a few moves on the dance floor, to ensure the customers feel accommodated and their needs are met. The manger doesn’t over work you and checks on your well being regularly to ensure you have eaten and taken a break if necessary. I would recommend this place if your looking for another easy steady income to further you afield as the hours are very flexible also the manger is very supportive and considerate or if your looking for full time work.

The staff were really slow to serve and had to look at the menu on how to make the drinks. The bar lady used a shot glass that someone had drank out of on top of the bar to measure the alcohol for the cocktail she was making for me. This isn’t very sanitary. Security were really slow to attend to a fight even though the place was empty. It was quite dangerous. I would avoid this place.

Don’t waste your time coming to salsa Mondays at lighthouse. Upon entry we were quizzed about our salsa level - apparently beginner/intermediate dancers aren’t welcome, it’s “more professionals”, we were told to wait in the entrance and that there would be other dancers join us but 2 hours later still no dance floor there and felt like we were buying drinks to fund the “professionals’” good time.

I came here for a drag show which was spectacular but the bar itself was AWFUL! Firstly, only one of the toilets worked while the others were clogged, closed, or just plain broken! The bartenders (specifically the one upstairs) are scammers and corrupt. They’ll charge you whatever they want for a drink. My friend paid £25 for three drinks and when i went up to pay for another round of the same three drinks he charged me £39! And charged me £13 for a a vodka soda i had to explain how to make. If overcharging is a crime, his jumper sure is. It’s unfortunate that my night was ruined by these men considering the show and security downstairs were very nice and considerate, however unless the provide a clear menu and hold their employees accountable, i will not be coming back and will tell my friends to STAY AWAY!!!

LIGHTHOUSE COMPLETELY RUINED MY NIGHT OUT. Come here if you want to wait in line for over half an hour in the freezing London cold, with the queue not moving just to be turned down at the door with VALID tickets and to be told by staff members that they don’t care. Insane unprofessionalism and lack of organisation. Lighthouse used to be a good place to party, it has now gone downhill. Member of staff screaming that he doesn’t care about our problems, this is a completely SICK place run by animals. DONT COME HERE. This place does not deserve even a single a star. Take your hard earned money elsewhere where members of staff are actually professional and respect you. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the member of staff at Lighthouse who ruined our night but they were a manger of some kind (not security) , black male.
