Went last night for the first time and had the most amazing food, it really was nice. We had the pre-theatre menu which was 2 courses (starter and main £12.95). You could also get a dessert for an extra £2.50, which we did. The onion and goats cheese tart you must try and the cheeseburger was also beautiful. Vegetable curry was nice but chickpea fritters needed something else in them as they were quite boring. Apple crumble had a bit too much cinnamon but was tasty. But my gosh the Eton Mess was delightful. YUM. My photo is a bit blurry but don't let that put you off. The service was extremely good and will be going again soon. I also loved the cosy vibe and the artwork on the walls.

WOW. BEST. STEAK. EVER! Cooked to perfection. In fact, I couldn't fault any of the food we ate here! Highly recommend!!! Service was also really great! I recommend trying the Goats cheese and red onion tart, on-the-bone rib steak, and both the chocolate brownie and eton mess were all delicious. Thanks for such a lovely food experience!

Lovely place, great vibe with uplifting happy disco music of 70s & 80s and the staff were superb! I had the 3 course pre-theatre menu. Chicken liver pate presented in a rustic wooden tablet and pate in a cute little jar. My main of chicken, mash, veggie and gravy was ok. The dessert of brownie served with chocolate ice-cream as they had run out of vanilla. Not refined but honest and hearty food, with good vibe and pleasant atmosphere at a good price. Great for a quick pre-theatre meal.

Decent functional hotel restaurant. We did a pre theatre meal. 6 adults - starters and mains all served quickly. Starters were pretty basic but mains were impressive. Decent portion size. Dinner plus drinks for £200. 12.5% service charge added. Service very impressive. Staff friendly. Delicious grilled chicken salad. And huge portion on the pork belly.

Very nice place, and definitely a gem on a busy night in London. Food was average, I had very less chicken in the chicken pasta I had ordered. The ice-cream had ice-crystals as well. Overall, my experience was average. The service was great.

Part of St Giles Hotel who have donated their outdoor seating area to Food For All from Monday to Friday (12am to 2pm ) feeding some of central London's most needy citizens. Amazing donation of space - more companies should be doing it

Myself and my sis had dinner last week, evening time, both had soup, was nice enough, we also had breast of chicken, only 2 baby carrotts and spoon full of mash, my god such small portions, i did ask the girl where was the rest, anyway was 20 pounds each, plus no gluten free gravy, will never visit this restaurant again, not value for money, we always stay in the hotel which is fabulous,

Very nice restaurant. The staff was very friendly and organized a table for me, even as every place was already reserved. Good advice for food, the fish and chips were outstanding. Beer was okay, nothing special but fine anyway. Prices are a bit high, but still acceptable.

I ordered mussel and tuna for the main. Prawn cocktail for the starter. It’s really huge. I feel like it x3 normal size literally. Especially the super big mussel pot. Overall I think at this price it’s a really good bargain cuz these are already enough for three 😂 Prawn cocktail is both beautiful and tasty

Very underrated place. Not only is the beer and food selection decent, but they also offer 25% off regulars (whereas before it was only 20%, more informal with no card), know how to cook a meat medium rare, how to make a peppercorn sauce and fries. Very nice service and atmosphere and good food for an ok price given the quality (ps: I ate half of the cote de boeuf before taking the pic, I normally go for the burger). They open the window screens in summer, so it’s perfect for outdoor seating (restaurant food is only available inside though unless you go for bar food). A regular go-to in the area for informal meetings

Got 2 medium rare steaks. One of them was rare verging on blue and the other was medium well. Even properly cooked, the cuts weren't worth the 30 pound each price tag. Service was fine.

Pretty evening setup with roses and candles on the tables. Food and drinks were awesome, service was pretty attentive. Very high quality!

Food poor. Starter fritter burnt to charcoal so shouldn't even have been allowed out of the kitchen. Bruschetta, bread not toasted, so tasteless and chewy. Burger over-cooked and chewy. Chips tasteless. House own name beer has much lower alcohol content -so they pay much less duty on it- but it's same price as the usual stuff. Is ok for a quick pre-theatre bite, as we had, but far from a "destination". And there are so many much better places around, with the same kind of food, for that sort of price.

RUDE!! The staff and management are very rude and will not serve you if you ask for a drink! The whole night all the people in there where asking to be served and they just ignored them. We made complaint to manager who laughed it off and didn’t care!! The bar man was charging the wrong about of money and was pocketing it for him self!! He was disrespectful not only to the young/middle age but was rude to the older generation. Manager said they are tired we have had 3 staff leave (I’m not surprised) but we explained that we are understanding people and if they had just said that in the first place!! But they still continued to be rude and swearing at the customers to the point everybody was getting frustrated by the bar man they had no choice to close the bar! The bar is very dirty not clean at all and the floor was soaked and the floor that wasn’t wet you got stuck to!!! Do not waste your money in there!!! However VQ next door is amazing tue staff are so kind and respectful and the service is amazing… If you go to Hudson's don’t say I didn’t warn you!!

Great food, the pork ribs are amazing. 50% off for the meal because I have booked through "The fork" application. I recommend this place to my friends.

Delicious drinks, and the staff are pretty dishy too. Very friendly staff with a flair for class in a pleasant atmosphere. FSA rating 5/5 as of 05 February 2020.

Food and service was excellent, the pre theatre menu had a good selection and was reasonably priced. Missed out on pudding though ☹️ as we had to dash for our Back to the Future show ! If only there was enough time ...

I've stayed in this hotel many times but this was my first time eating in the bar. The food was very nice we had the burger and the Mac. Decent portions and the 3 lads behind the bar were very friendly.

And another fab' restaurant to add to my list. Hudson's House, within St. Giles Hotel, just off of London's Tottenham Court Road, offered a cozy and secluded corner in town, swift and friendly service and superb food... with good portion sizes. Jess looked after us in a friendly but efficient manner, starters were served without much wait and mains followed in the same timely fashion. Gorgeous! It's not a budget or an expensive place to eat and I'm sure that this restaurant would love to serve you whatever your order. Thanks Jess and the team, here's to the next visit.

Very nice place for some evening drinks. One can order beer and watch football over there or just sit over some nice and fresh cocktails. We ordered a mojito, bloody Mary, a virgin some kind of fruity drink made by the bartender and a cosmopolitan. Except for the super spicy and not that tasty bloody Mary, all the other drinks were very delicious! Recommended!

The service was shocking and we were unable to watch the football match on Saturday as the manager refused because of us being women. The bar staff and the manager were very rude and the manager shouted at us in front of us in the bar. We was told to get out even though the manager was not in uniform and actually stated I am not in uniform I can say and do what I like. His behaviour was threatening. Really disappointed. I asked for further complaints procedure and he declined and said he was the high he’s up and to stick it basically.

Watched the game here with my boyfriend and friends and had the best time! The steaks are a must try and the cocktail list was extensive. Would definitely recommend.

Popped in for a nightcap on our way back to the room, only wished we'd been in at the start of our stay. Lovely staff, delicious drinks served in a quirky atmosphere. Loved the art work...fun and not too serious. Would recommend visiting, thanks for having us x
