Almost didn’t go here because of the negative reviews on Google Maps, and so glad I ignored them! This place has excellent food, excellent drinks, and excellent service, all taking place in beautifully designed surrounding in the heart of Soho. Every dish was expertly prepared and delivered unexpected flavors, with the highlights for us being the cheung fun, glass noodles and prawn toast; the drink menu was great as well and I’d welcome people to experiment with new things! Prices were good and everything is meant for sharing; combined with friendly service and a great soundtrack, this is an ultimate brunch spot. Can’t wait to come back for cocktails!

Interesting Chinese tea and food place. It is a nice place to hang out and spend lazy time with some delicious food bites organised like tapas with small portion. Tea selection is also interesting. Hence, it is not a place to fill up your belly. It is not really recommended to visit with kids as their foods are not really portioned as meal, but more of a side dish to complement drinks and tea.

The interiors make it here for me!!! It’s so funky and retro, I love the style down from the neon lights to the plates. HOWEVER service was terrible and to be honest the food was nothing special, OTHER than their pork (pictured)! I went for dinner, and I understand that the brunch menu is a lot better, and popular. I wouldn’t rule it out, and I would give it a go for brunch, but not in a hurry (food account: @diningnotdashing)

Cool spot that has its own vibe. The food menu was quite adventurous and not your typical Chinese restaurant array. Traditional Chinese flavors with a creative twist could be one way to describe the dishes. The black bean sauce on the veggies with the bream was tasty! The setting and atmosphere is pretty cool. Service was friendly and prompt. Look forward to coming back in the evening for some drinks and trying a few more dishes. Expect Soho pricing. Note the Hong Kong style French toast is only served during lunch.

Beautiful aesthetics, and a good vibe definitely... however food was tweaked too much and a lot of corners were being cut. Milk tea was decent though should have used evaporated milk than condensed milk. Scallops were portioned way too less for price, and the clay pot rice was just not hot and fragrant enough. Cocktails next table seemed full of creativity but highly overpriced place overall

Had a lovely dinner here with 3 small plates and a clay pot between 2. Staff were very friendly and were always there to fill up our water. The food tasted amazing, we ordered the hand dived scallops, salt pepper squid, wok greens and aged beef neck claypot rice. The cocktail menu was also really interesting! Would definitely recommend.

Been looking forward to visit this tea room since seeing some lovely photos on IG and finally got a chance to have brunch here with some friends today. Got seated on the top floor which I think has a nicer deco than the downstairs. Since there were 4 of us so we decided to literally order everything from the weekend brunch menu except the kaya toast. Some dishes are definitely not what I’m expecting - like Scallop Prawn Toast is not the type of triangular prawn toast with sesame on top, the HK- style French Toast is as thick as I imagined it to be and the Fatty Char Siu is not as juicy as I thought. Despite some slightly disappointing dishes, the Spicy Soy Cheung Fun is real nice and I would say the Scramble Char Siu Rice is the highlight for sure. Overall the service is good and an enjoyable meal. I would still recommend this place to relax and dine in if happen to be in the area, but don’t expect very authentic Chinese food - more a fusion.

A mixed experience. + Good food. Cumin lamb and mixed rice were especially outstanding. - Unreliable drinks. 2 out of 4 beteeen my co-diner and I were good, the other two were quite watery/over-shaken — not ideal for a place with "bar" in its name. + Exceptionally cute atmosphere in main areas upstairs and downstairs, with water poured from vintage thermoses, and large neon signs harkening back to old Hong Kong - Atmosphere all but gone in the cramped, neon-less downstairs corner where we were situated (there were four two-person tables there, why is less attention paid to what appears meant to be the "romantic" sector?). My advice would be to get rid of the section entirely. - No music at all in a place where so much attention is paid to the interior seemed an odd choice. If atmosphere is a focus, that must include the sound and the service, which, on the evening of my visit, it did not. As an overall experience, this did not quite measure up to expectations of being whisked away to another time and place, although I might return for the lamb and rice, ensuring to book a table in a neon section.

Great staff and very friendly service, there when you need without being overly keen. Had a relatively limited choice of cocktails and drinks but they were all original and interesting and delivered with aplomb. We ended up here unexpectedly and had a really good time. Nice atmosphere and seating areas, didn't get the tea unfortunately but lots were there for it. A bit pricey for cocktails, beers were bottled not draught.

Really fantastic restaurant with a unique menu, offering Instagrammable dishes. We went for the weekend brunch and it didn't disappoint. The only thing was that the portions were small so you end up ordering almost everything to share between you. Can't wait to come back for cocktails another time soon.

We were looking for a place to sit and get some drinks, so we did not try their food. The drinks are so-so. I had the milk tea and it you have to add the condense milk yourself. Good if you want to adjust the sweetness yourself. The atmosphere was pretty loud and dark.

I went with some friends for drinks and the tea experience. It's about 12 pounds for unlimited tea (one type). You get to choose your own tea cup. The water and tea does get cold really quickly so it might be that the teapots can be refilled more often, or in some houses there can be electronic individual kettles at the table. The bathrooms can also be cleaned more regularly. We didn't have any food but I've heard great things about the food. Will be back to try

Was surprised by all of the 1 star reviews. Absolutely undeserved in my opinion. This place was a wonderful experience all round. Staff were lovely and attentive, food was amazing. Cocktails were astounding. This place is not cheap but nowhere nearby is either. If you're coming here for cheap soho garbage, you came to the wrong place. Expect amazing food and the price that comes with it.

Cute little place with delicious food & drink. Loved everything we ordered - highlights were the sour plum tea, the scallop & prawn sesame toast, the cheung fan noodles, and of course the Iberico Char Siu. The fried rice claypot dish was a little light on ingredients & taste, and the kaya toast could have been more decadent in terms of the amount of kaya.

The design and set up of the pop up restaurant for hoko reminds me a lot on the good old days in Asia. The food was authentic, there was not too much service as it is a fast turn over restaurant, hence, can't make much comment on it. However given that the noodle was at the price of a ramen, I would have an expectation that either the main came in a larger portion of a slight reduction in price. It was a restaurant price with fast food/market service. But the food is great from a general context.

This is one of my favourite restaurants, the clay pot is amazing, I dream about it when I'm not there.... They also have some extremely delicious drinks, the Winter Melon tea is like nothing I've ever tasted before & some super fancy smokey cocktails. The decor is really beautiful there's always a great atmosphere & friendly service. Love it!

We didn't have a reservation but were lucky to get in as a walk-in. Service started out a little bumpy, but after an ice breaker, we had a great evening. The food was delicious and drinks unique, the Bartender clearly loved what he was doing.

Overpriced weirdo Chinese menu. won’t say it’s fake but not what locals will have in Hong Kong or any other city in China. Menu Seems set by a chef self trained via YouTube.

Nice foods and drinks, definitely try the Iberico pork. Food doesn't come with plain rice which is unfortunate as some dishes would be much better with rice, like their fried chicken. The place is normally busy in the weekend so booked ahead to ensure a table.

Best Cantonese food in London! Date night with my boyfriend and we went to try this treasure restaurant in the heart of soho. Lovely staff, friendly and efficient. Incredible food, the best Asian food I had in London (must try the fried chicken, iberico and the scallops). The drinks are great especially the fig & gin and lemongrass and roses (lovely served in a tea pot) my favorites. The atmosphere of the venue, the service and the food gave us a beautiful evening. Absolutely recommended. I'll be back for sure!

My partner and I arrived at Wun’s Tea Room for their brunch offering on a Friday. I am from Hong Kong, visiting London, so I am comparing the product with what I am used to in HK. Firstly, the Yuenyeung tea is somewhat similar. It tasted weak to begin with, but got stronger the deeper into the cup I got. The Iced Milk Tea tasted weak throughout, and I would say that it isn’t a true representation of what a typical HK café offers. Secondly, the Spicy Soy Cheung Fun & Crispy Egg (one of my favourites in HK)… The rice noodle was cooked fantastically, however there was too much soy sauce on the product, making it incredibly salty. The egg was indeed crispy, and had a succulent gooey yolk. Thirdly, the Canton Scramble Char Siu Rice was presented in a hot clay pot, which I think was a nice touch. There was plenty of egg, however, such little meat. I am used to a lot more pork in the portions served in HK. The service was fine, and they added on the service charge to the bill. All in all, an okay product, however very pricey compared to the food in HK.
