I recommend the tasting menu as it’s good value, great portions, and delicious. Particularly loved the beef skirt and lentils. We had a very attentive waiter and had a great view over the Thames.

Great service, decent food and fabulous views of the city. A little bit pricey but the outdoor space makes this worthwhile. 8.5/10 for the burger.

Had the time out deal of £30 with three courses and a cocktail. The deal was above expectations as my initial understanding was you choose a dish from each course but in fact all three starters and main arrive. Cocktails was absolutely excellent. Service was ok- a large space to cover so was a bit slow due to the large table of 14 next to us. Ambience very nice. Food was excellent. The starters were light and tasteful such as the salad , the tomato and burrata and the salmon with crispy bread. Mains again very good: steak, fish and pasta with mushrooms. Huge portions. Highly recommended , excellent value for money.

Found this place by chance, first thing you need to know is, it is part of a hotel which will help you find it. As you enter the hotel itself is beautiful downstairs, with a ship/sea theme. When we arrived the staff were friendly and the restaurant is more on the high end. The menu isn’t huge but a good mix of meat, fish and veg. Sadly they had some issue with the order as their system went down, we waited a very long time and these things do happen but no one told us. Eventually we flagged someone down, and she explained the issue and offered us drinks and took care of us (the stunning lady who looks like Lucy Lu, I wish I knew your name), she was absolutely amazing with her service and hence why I have given it a 4 on service. She went out of her to make sure we were ok and just was wonderful. The starters here was amazing, can’t not recommend the ceviche tacos enough! I’d just come back for those! The main dish are actually quite big, the halibut was served beautifully but for me personally I wish the sauce had a bit more kick but recommend the Mac and cheese side. Definitely would come back if I fancy some fish, I’m coming back for the whole sea bass and next time I will try to come during summer as restaurant is sitting on the Thames. Great place for date night.

Fantastic food and excellent service. Giusy was our main server and she was especially friendly and gave great recommendations. Plus when they found out we were celebrating our anniversary and recent engagement, they wrote congratulations on our desert!

Stayed at Sea Containers a few days. Tried scones and champagne, dinner, and breakfast. Lovely place and dinner was great, but breakfast was a bit of a let down for the premium price. Poached eggs undercooked and fried eggs greasy, and coffee weak and frothy like from a basic machine. Nowhere does breakfast and coffee like NZ though.

I highly recommend the Sea Containers Restaurant's tasting menu. The portions are big and delicious - it includes three starters, three mains, a dessert and a glass of fizz. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth, the pasta absolutely delicious, the starters varied and drool-worthy and all in all this was a good value, good quality experience in prime location on the South Bank.

Wonderful dinner on our last night visiting London from the USA. Dimitri was an excellent waiter. Drinks (blue lady cocktail) were tasty along with appetizers, pork tomahawk, Mac and cheese/green beans. Lovely outdoor seating and view of the Thames river and city line. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

Great view or the beautiful London, excellent service, and delicious meal! We went here for brunch, and enjoyed couple of rose champagne and my husband had espresso martini both absolute favourite! The warm bread with creamy spread was super along with peddron peppers! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his avocado and egg spread on sourdough. I highly recommend this place x

Brunch menu was great! We both opted for the smoked salmon bagel and were not disappointed. Decent portion and delicious 😋 Bottomless prosecco was £19 a person and our very friendly waiter was always topping up our glasses so genuinely did feel Bottomless (unlike some venues) It was my friend's birthday and we mentioned that in the booking. It was a brilliant surprise when a chocolate birthday treat appeared complete with a candle 🕯 we'll definitely be back again with a bigger group in future.

Dog friendly restaurant and so booked it. And my fur baby was given water bowl Straight away. We selected smoked salmon for my first baby which she enjoyed. Seabass with lemon and samphire and capers was melt in your mouth. Mussels tikka masala was surprisingly delicious. Kids menu was good too. Staff friendly and good atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place.

Very nice service, good quality food, and a great location. We had a 3-course sharing menu, with pot-roast beef especially worth recommending. Nice desserts too.

The caveat here is this was a lunch so haven't got a total view of what a full dinner experience would be like. That said, I really couldn't have asked for more. The service was attentive, friendly and excellent. The food was great (we all went for the turkey club sandwich) and arrived quickly enough. The setting if light and the view of the river is great so a nice place to sit and have a chat.

One of my favourite spots for dinner in London. Friend had birthday dinner here and as there were more than 8 of us we had the sharing menu - snacks, starters, mains and desserts. Forgot to take photos - so stole some from friends! The food was delicious - especially the cheese croquettes (snacks), roast chicken (main) and lemon meringue pie!

One of my favourite restaurants. Clean, aesthetically pleasing and great staff. They have a varied brunch menu with quite a few options to choose from and bottomless prosecco for £15 (1.5 hours). The waiters are not shy and will top you up when ready. The beef roast is fantastic!

I had an exceptional breakfast experience at this restaurant. The menu offered a delightful variety, and the dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The attentive staff provided excellent service, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. A perfect start to the day—flavors, service, and ambiance all deserving of five stars.

View and vibe was nice! I'd return for that alone. The lamb was very good, but the mussels didn't taste fresh. Fries and salad were fine (as they typically are anywhere!) The drinks were good but drinks service was very slow, although the food service was within expected time. I liked our server, he was attentive, and the hostesses were quick and chirpy.

We were staying at the hotel and didn’t have a reservation for the restaurant. Hostess was accommodating and was able to squeeze us in for dinner as walk ins. Food was good. Ambiance was nice. If you’re staying at the hotel, not a bad idea to give it a try.

Great food, service and we could see st pauls from where we were situated, view was better in the evening when the lights came on and got abit dark. I had such a lovely time with my friend here. It was very airy they had the large patio doors that opened. Very clean modern stylish toilets. Food and cocktails were great too! 👍

We loved every minute and every aspect of Sea Containers. We were greeted by the members of staff politely and guided to the restaurant. We were walked to our table almost immediately and had our drinks order taken. Food were totally delicious, well presented and very good portion for the price. We love the ambience of the restaurant too. Staff are friendly, polite and knowledgeable. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco, which was put slightly away from us but the lady ensure our glasses are never empty. Foods arrived pretty quick and we didn't have to wait for long despite it was a busy Saturday night. We'll definitely come back with some friends and for future birthday & other celebrations. On a side note, we also went upstairs to 12th Knot which is really nice with an amazing view. Thank you Sea Containers for the superb quality of hospitality and food/drinks which is quite rare in big cities these days.

Had a fabulous "long lunch" with work friends. Great food, attentive service - we felt so welcome we kept our meal going for 8 hours. Red wine is one of the major food groups, right?

Had a lovely nights stay here with our own little outdoor area. We stayed for brunch and had oysters, steak and eggs and crab on toast with a white negroni. Food was lovely, service was quick and the staff helpful.

In the summer, I miss coming here (before Pandemic). I thought the food options were fantastic, with something for everyone. I'm hoping to return sooner rather than later.

I’ve just had Sunday brunch here and it was lovely! I had the fish pie (delicious and filling) while my friend had the steak and egg (also tasty). We had mango cheesecake and chocolate brownies & coffees after… nothing disappointed! The (numerous) staff are attentive, the food was delicious and the ambience was great! We sat near the open windows overlooking the tables on the terrace with the bustle of the Southbank passing by. I really can’t think of a better location for a Sunday brunch in London. The menu is a little pricey - especially the roasts! Where you pay separately for the potatoes, Yorkshire’s & carrots (weird!) - but if you want a treat on a sunny Sunday afternoon, this is the ideal place to remind you why you love London! (The decor is lovely and the toilets VERY clean!)

Virgin voucher experience for 2 people. We had three starters, tomatoes with cheese, salmon, salad. Salmon very good. Three mains, small portion of steak, pasta with green peas and fish dish (approx size similar to single birds eye boil in bag). Not bad. Three options for sweet. My wife doesn't eat sweet so I just took the mango cheese cake which was delicious except for the strange herb that was added. Excellent service. We chose a bottle white wine (included with voucher). Not the best wine ever but it was cold and refreshing. We were there in the evening but not warm enough to sit outside but big windows to see the view. Unfortunately the view is not inspiring with a couple of cranes in direct line of sight. In hindsight it would be better to go on a warm day, sit outside and people watch. Final note... The roof bar. A menu with miniature grey text on white background in a dimly lit room!. Just ordered a couple of Cuba Libras which were the worst I have ever tasted. Seemed like a whole lime had been squeezed into flat coke with a teaspoon of rum. £12 each! Add a strange selection of rhythmic but unrecognisable music that was too loud, and off we went! Good service though and I really should have complained about the drink there and then.

We had a lovely late brunch here on a Saturday. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, not too crowded, and the service was very attentive and friendly. Accommodating for food intolerances and they did a nice non-alcoholic cocktail for my pregnant friend. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the food felt slightly over-priced for what it was, but I probably would go back. Bottomless Prosecco not bad if you’re going to have more than a couple of glasses 🥂

Had the tasting menu. Everything was fantastic, highlights were the flat iron steak served over a bed of barley with veggies, excellent! The warm brownie with vanilla ice cream was divine. The service was charming and attentive without being over-bearing.

Tried out the tasting menu and we were so glad we did! It was a three course meal, starters and mains to share then we get a dessert each. The portion was a lot bigger than expected. Very fresh and so delicious. The waiter kept checking if we were okay and if we needed any more things, very attentive and lovely :). Will definitely be back to try your other dishes and cocktails ❤️

We attended on a weekday lunch time, so it was quite 'businessy', but that's to be expected. Our waiter, Keiran, was amazing - attentive, helpful, efficient, made us laugh and an excellent photo taker. We were treated with great respect and felt very welcomed by all staff. The food is delicious and good value (we had the taster menu) and the cocktails were superb. It was my birthday so we were treated to a river view and a special surprise treat with a candle. Lovely. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. Thank you for making my day so special.

We had Sunday roast. The beef is good quality and tasty however just too much silver skin which makes it extremely difficult to cut, at the end we are all tired and busy cutting meat. We did not expect it at all for such an expensive Sunday roast.

Had Rib Eye Steak for £38 but it was so delicious, didn't regret ordering it. Their virgin piñacolada is one of the best I had. Romantic location, and absolutely 5 star service.

Beautiful collaboration with Riggs café. Kept coming back for this wonderful salmon burger. Perfect tender texture, light seasoned taste draw out the natural umami. Mango slaw refreshed and bonus the whole burger. Tender rib and ribeye are please meat lovers palate undoubtedly. Perfect meat texture with the right amount of lipids. Smooth Chocolate pot is a rarely found, not too sweet sweets. Crunch Choco & cream is so fun on top of a mousse. The vegan matcha dessert do not taste like matcha. The Benedict eggs and lunch rib is just alright, you could get same quality food at other places with better prices. This is my 5th visit in the past two weeks, mainly to experience the magic in the salmon burger & Choco pot.
