A fantastic evening. 4 INCREDIBLE magicians. Wonderfully warm and welcome atmosphere, bar staff were friendly and the overall experience is something I cannot wait to repeat. You have to go. You literally wont believe your eyes.

Lovely venue tucked away from the hustle bustle of London. Perfect day out for anyone into their magic. We did the Christmas show that is two hours or so worth of magic shows. The acts were brilliant, charismatic and energetic, we loved it. You can also wonder around the museum, which was a bit boring for kids but a nice extra for those unto magic. There is a bar where you can chill, have a snack and see some closeup magic. All in all, fun day and worth every penny!

Attended a show this evening as a surprise and had a great time being immersed in magic for a little under 2 hours. Charismatic performers, great host, and a lot of "how on earth did they do that?" moments. Unfortunately didn't take a lot of photos because you get caught up intensely watching and trying not to blink but all 4 acts were brilliant.

Very interesting, funny and entertaining mix of four magicians on their Thursday evening closeup magic shows. 4 tables spread through the building with the Magicians rotating... You sit at one table and they come to you. Find your seat early, then go look at the historical memorabilia through the building, the museum and grab a drink from the well stocked bar. A great evening was had by all. The night I went we saw Michael Vincent, Sylar, Martin Cox and Jack Tighe. There was always a mix of laughter and gasps all evening.

At first, I wasn't really into magic but after visiting this place words can't explain how interested I was! With three floors including a theatre and a museum, there was not a chance of getting bored! After leaving this place, you will want to find the history of magic and you won't realise how much effort and skill it takes to be a magician!

We went with friends last night (joint birthday celebrations) and had a brilliant time. Very entertaining. Wandering the small magic museum during the interval was a nice touch. All of the performers were of very high calibre and Chris Wood was clearly passionate about his craft and made a great 'compere.' The current works at Euston station made getting there a little more tricky, so give yourself a little longer to walk if travelling by public transport. No issues for us at the bar. It was an excellent night out and would highly recommend it.

Great, quirky night out and best value ticket in London. The shows feature many magicians so you get to see a variety of magic. The hq is covered in magic artefacts so had fun exploring the before before the show and during the interval; they even have a dedicated museum all included in the price too. My personal favourite is seeing Tommy Cooper's fez. The evenings are run by magicians/volunteers who clearly have a passion for magic and The Magic Circle. The evenings are quite intimate so tickets usually sell out in good time.

Great night, really close up only with 2 rows. Downstairs is the room with the bar. We where late because on Uber there is another “the magic circle” in a park. But they let us in 15 minutes late and had a night full of close up magic and a lot of laughs

Where to begin. Horrible acts. not really magic. Racist, colonial posters everywhere. felt super uncomfortable and had to leave. Will be reporting this soon. organization should not exist.

A great evening. The magic was amazing and delivered by 4 charismatic members of the Magic Circle. The performance felt very special in the small intimate theatre. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone

We visit over the Christmas period to see their annual Christmas magic show. This is highly recommended, very entertaining and left my kid puzzling on how they did the tricks.

While this is a beautiful niche venue with over 115 years of magic history, a magnificent roll of benefactors, supporters, and over umpteen thousand members world wide sharing their performance skills with each other and the general public at annual Xmas shows there's something sadly lacking in its overall hospitality. The written sign on the access lift implying no visitors could use it from the ground floor to the third level where the theatre is. My friend and l both have mobility problems and l have proprioception issues too. Climbing the spiral staircases in a continual to yo yo for the interval, the toilet and the bar was a real 'pain'. We used the lift from the second level to the third before we discovered it actually operated at all levels ( minus the sign). This may have been an over cautious reaction to co vid but there's a united nations charter for the rights of disabled people that means we can expect to receive some barriers to access at venues to be widely available. This is not an old proscenium theatre. If a lift is installed kindly let us use it. It would be simple to make a small brass plaque that states only 2 people may ride in it at any time. That covers all aspects of safety. I stood three feet away from my friend without hugging the walls of the lift. I deducted a star too for the attitude of the staff at the bar. They had one card terminal between two bar tenders, and there seemed a deal of confusion on starting and finishing an order with the same person. My friend couldn't order a whisky & ginger because they had no whisky. The red wine was undrinkable ( very vinegary.. no alternative. Red wine always needs to breathe and therefore two choices at least should be available to avoid a ' raw' experience) She then ordered a lager with a dash of lime. That usually means a touch of cordial ( guess what .. none) but was interpreted as a slice of lime ( of course ..none). It's just as we the performers have plenty of tricks up their sleeves, no shortage of jokes ( though a comment about stroking a rope needs to edited out of a matinée with kids present) and an obvious pride in their work. Worth the entrance price for a two hour run of acts and a chance to visit the museum.. ln a competitive market though with less attendees everywhere l suggest the management take a look at other fringe venues bar areas to see what they are offering.

Great fun with a close up magic show, a tour of the museum and a magic performance in the theatre. Very interesting and lovely volunteers who really have a pride and passion for the craft of magic. Only open on certain days for the tour and you need to book in advance but we had a great time and you get free tea/coffee and biscuits! They also do family Christmas shows and other events.

Unbelievable! I can't believe I've lived in London for all these years and didn't realise you could attend events at The Magic Circle. It's a fantastic evening out - geared towards adults. There's a bar downstairs so you can enjoy a tipple pre-show and at the interval. There's also a small museum downstairs. The magicians were all fantastic. 10/10 - can't wait to return!

Oh my days what a great evening out! Casual evening, intimate setting yet hugely professional and felt like a big night out!Close up magic by members of the Magic Circle and lots of detail shared about the levels of magician. All superbly friendly and approachable, full of character and wit, with slight-of-hand abilities that would flummox Fagin!! 😂 Highly recommend it!

Interesting place spread on a number of floors. Was there to see a show. Very good. Can only visit the museum if you see a show etc, magicians were wandering around performing card tricks etc and were happy to answer any questions. Drinks available but limited snacks.

We weren't really sure quite what to expect but what a brilliant evening! The museum tour was really interesting and the magicians before the show and in the interval all added something different. The show had me howling at some points and there was a real variety of acts and we'd really recommend a visit!

Fantastic! A must see for any magic fans in London. Tip: they do a show a couple times a month, go to their website. This allows you entry to tour the museum and there's plenty of close up magicians around before the show. Do head to the show early and sit downstairs as balcony views are slightly limited
