A nice part of the Science Museum which is quieter without the screaming kids, so can relax and read all the info at your own pace. It's interesting to see the importance of time keepings and it's relevance to Maritime navigation, and how this was needed by Britain in growing and maintaining it's empire.

Clock master Museum it is on the second floor of London's science museum. It is a small but delightful display of the British clock work that will not fail to impress. That exhibits cover wide range of watches and clocks of various period, showing well decorated cases, different movements and their working style.

A very interesting exhibition! Be sure to come! I was on Sunday- admission is free. The time difference is from the 15th century to the 21st. Interesting evolution. I highly recommend it!

I visited the Science Museum solely for this exhibition; even though it's called a "museum", it 's more like a gallery housed at the Science Museum. Regardless of its size I still found it enjoyable to visit and learn some history of watchmaking and horology. Such a gem! Really recommended.

Located inside the Museum of Science (does not have its own sign or entrance). Really unique and cool look at the history of clockmaking, watches, and overall impact timekeeping has had on human history. Some great narratives and artifacts, especially if you are into watches and clocks.

TICK TOCK is seldom heard at Britain’s Clockmaker’s Museum, now on the second floor of London’s Science Museum. The collection of time pieces old and new, instead, tells a tale little known: how and why something as mundane as tracking the passage of time mattered in history and science. Also, there are many beautiful objects.

But ofcourse they had to make watches and wall clocks of gold! I was shocked and dazzled by the beauty, intricacies and fragility of these beautiful pocket watches. Fascinating!

A small but delightful display of the British clockwork ingenuity that will not fail to impress. Beware the Google Map directions take you to the rear of the building next to Imperial College building. A very pretty lady came out on seeing me wandering around trying to find my bearings and took me to the entrance which was quite a walk. You should go to science museum 2ND floor. It's free.

Really worth a look if you are into watches (or clocks). Some of the earliest (16th century) watches on display and of course the early Harrison chronometer. Only one room so it only takes 45 minutes to an hour to view completely. And it's free!
