Made the effort of travelling to London to see the memorial display for Sir Ernest Shackleton, which has free entry and is very accessible. I especially enjoyed the recordings of the sounds of blizzard winds in Antarctica that were playing the entire time that Sally Service Hound and I were there. Sally and I had the place to ourselves except for one other patron. Highly recommended and sadly it closes in early May, so be quick if you wish to see this nod to a very important historical event!

It was such a treat to come here. I've passed outside countless times but this is the first time that I spend a couple of hours absorbing the amazing stories this place has. I came to see the Sir Ernest Shackleton exhibition and it was just incredible. The atmosphere, the narrative, the story and the way my imagination went crazy, thinking about these daredevils and their stories. A well spent morning.

Probably the best venue in London for a day event, a concert, or a stand up show. Or a conference or a product launch. Plenty of character, history, stories, arts and sciences in one building.

If you follow the extraordinary exploits of polar explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton then his statue on one of the outer walls of the Royal Geographical Society is a must see.

What a special place, the free exhibitions are good but all the recognition of great geographers up to the members room was inspiring.

I am glad a visited a few times the famous Royal Geografical Society. I enjoyed the exposition of some early pioneers of photograpy, the Boissonnas brothers and the Sinai album tracking the biblical places of Exodus.

Venue for concerts is so atmospheric and warm. Good vibes. We had a good experience over there. Very smart building and interesting to visit for kids and adults because of history!

I am judging this venue entirely due to how userfriendly it is as a supplier. I DO love a loading bay. And this one could not be more convenient. Right behind the venue which is still on an easily accessible main road next to Hyde Park. The room that gets used for dinners is literally just inside the door of the loading bay. So when you have candelabra and large floral displays to handle, this could not be more convenient. Staff if friendly and the collection arrangements were flexible and agreeable to all. Thank you for having us. We would very much love to return

I enjoyed event however I was told event started at 6.30. I arrived early expecting to be able to go in. I was told to wait until 6.30. Luckily I was there or I would have got a rub bish view. It took an hour for the event to start. As it took that time for people to cone in. I was lucky I could wait inside others had to wait outside . Luckily it wasn't raining. Not happy. Please be clearer

Great place for interesting documentary talks, films and lectures... the place itself needs a spruce up but you could say that about me too..

A very interesting and vibrant place. Went here for workshops on the Great Exhibition Road Festival and don't regret it at all.

Great exhibition of Frank Hurley's photographs from the Trans Antartic Expedition on 1914-15 . Staff were friendly and made us feel like we were important!
