The park is peaceful retreat in one of the busiest cities in the world. Flanking the Thames there are lovely views across the river to Chelsea. The park is busy but it doesn’t feel crowded, the exact opposite. The wife and I strolled the perimeter and it took us about an hour. On a sunny day there is plenty of shade as well so the park is great even on really hot days.

This park is good for relaxing time. Very clean, with beautiful birds singing across the whole park. Good trails to walk by yourself or if your baby is sleeping. They also have a zoo but we didn’t visit it this time. Enjoyed the full day here.

Battersea Park packs a wide variety of activities, attractions and scenic areas into a very reasonable space. The park is so perfectly sized that you can fill an entire afternoon by casually meandering along its perimeter, dipping in and out to enjoy a drink at the outdoor bar overlooking the lake, walk through curated gardens and relax on the grass while spectating local Cricket games. A highly recommended Park in London.

I loved this park. It's very extensive and has lots to do ad see. The Peace Pagoda is amazing and it's as beautiful as the ones I saw in east Asia. The park was gorgeous, but was disappointed to see the amount of rubbish at 4pm on Monday ( from the weekend ) and some parts were very unkempt.

My favourite park in central London. Not too busy like super touristy Hyde Park and St James Parks. Really quaint with beautiful pagoda on the riverside and stunning Albert Bridge nearby.

An amazing, huge park, fit for a wide range of activities. You can have a stroll by the Thames, marvel at the London Peace Pagoda, chill out in the English Garden or by the fountains, do all sorts of sport activities, have a lot of fun at the Go Ape or Putt in the park, pedal on the lake, or have a bite or a drink at the Pear Tree Cafe. Perfect for everyone.

Pretty places, gardens from the 1800s and even older spaces. A nice and old treasure from London that has things that come from different times. New and shiny things mixed with traditional and old things. There are small bodies of water, paths to walk on, small boats to ride, birds to watch, bikes to ride, and yummy cold treats to eat! And, there is also a special area for kids to see and interact with animals! The big old trees are amazing and you can get lost in the park.

A very calm and quiet place to take a stroll and connect with the nature. It has some good walking trails where one can meet and greet some squirrels too! A great place with one good café and a adventure activity area also. Although, the restrooms were not in a great condition.

"Such a beautiful park! It's very big and spacious, with tall trees lining the area. It's incredibly peaceful." There is a lovely small English garden that really transported you to somewhere else… so romantic ♥️

Such a great outdoor space! Battersea Park has so much to offer: beautiful, green grass that’s perfect for a picnic, cafes, ice cream trucks, ponds and shaded promenades. They even have a tree top rope walk / obstacle course for the brave at heart. Shopping at the newly repurposed Battersea Power Station is just minutes away.

Amazing park with loads of activities to do. The fact that it is on the side of the Thames River also makes it more beautiful as the promenade walk is such a nice area. Running around the park is amazing at around 4km loop. You can also book tennis courts and go to the tree-top activity zone.

One of the most beautiful parks in London. Always underestimated and overlooked. Following the expansion in nine elms and the construction of the battersea power station complex, the area has been made into a fancy haven - surpassing areas such as Chelsea and Fulham. The park is extensive- mini lake, cafes, small petting zoo, tennis courts, football grounds and little mini parks with water features and water fountains. A great location to learn to run/ roller skate or to use the scooter. It is children friendly and disabled friendly. The autumn colours has made the whole park look spectacular. Well hidden away from traffic, one side facing enclosed by the river Thames. The park holds its own historical monuments and towers. The pictures do not do it justice.

Really beautiful and extremely large park with several lakes, various plants and tree's and clean paths. You will find a lot of people going on runs here and they hold frequent half marathon events. There are a few cafes (which can get very busy), a park for children and a calisthenic park for adults.

Lovely place to visit, it's peaceful and huge. So many different sections ~ you could spend a good 4 hours there or more. Also you can rent out places there for a garden party(don't know the full details though!) They also have square shaped trees ~ many nice spots of views, statues and art ~ it's worth every step you take there. Loved it and will definitely go again.

Beautiful park but not many places for picnic could be better maintained but the cafeteria looks great and have beautiful view of the main magnificent pond. There are many barriers that prevent you from sitting on the grass. Similar to other UK parks very dry and yellow in summer. Not very busy during the day much calmer than Hyde Park or St James park

Amazing park. It is out of the touristic areas which means it is full of locals. Perfect for all types of people: families, pets, to do sports or just for a walk. It has everything: Pear tree café (love their sweet potato fries), tennis courts, great play area for children, an exercise area with equipment, river views and the most amazing trees I have ever seen. My favourite London park by far.

The Second Best park in London? I’d say so. Very well kept London park that’s got loads to do, pretty sure you could spend an entire weekend here. Battersea is perfect for Running around, with multiple routes to keep the mind interested, there’s also a running track that’s only 4.50(give or take) for entry. Even on busy days there are plenty of areas to relax and just be alone. I think there are 3 Toilets on the park which are all very clean. Plenty of food stalls to keep you full of caffeine & Cake. And the pear tree cafe is a must for amazing pizza and their sweet potato fries are good!!

Battersea Park is one of my favourite places to go to, whether it's going for a simple bike ride or walk around the park, a visit to the zoo, a game of mini-golf, going to the funfair, passing movie/TV productions, spotting celebrities, purchasing art or just to feed the birds, it's one of the best parks in South West London, if not all of London. Good Luck changing my mind!

This is a huge park, with plenty of space for all types of leisure. At this time of the year, we can't see the true beauty of this place. I will definitely come back, especially around spring/summer time when all the big trees are covered with foliage and the flower beds with flowers. Highly recommended.

Battersea Park is a sprawling green oasis offering a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of London. Whether you're seeking a leisurely stroll, a fun-filled family day, or a spot of quiet contemplation. Lush lawns, play areas, flower beds, and picnic areas provide for everyone. Parking is free on Saturday and Sunday outside the park. Participated in a run-through marathon at the park.

Really good park. Lots of sports facilities even if there is an unhealthy amount of lycra on weekend mornings. Nice walk by the river, bandstand, food facilities, just watch out for the loony cyclists intent on running pedestrians over!

Very nice park! The area is huge, super quite, good for picnics and the river view makes a difference. Walk all the way by the river and you will also reach a very nice and super modern area, full of bars, restaurants and a huge shopping mall, everything with the river view. This park on a sunny day is a must!

Not too impressive at this timing. Can see some flowers at other parks, but can barely see one here. It’s a very big park, but didn’t find any specific part beautiful. The side near to River Thames should be better, would come back again when the leaves are back on.

Firstly, I was shocked by the amount of litter on the floor. The park overall is really nice. Amazing for birding, the toilets in the cafe were absolutely disgusting. The Chinese artefact is gorgeous to look at same as the topiary.

Visited the park for their annual Firework display on the 5th of November and it was fantastic. Very well organised making your way through the park to the location, the queue went down quick and the firework display was great, perfectly timed with music. It was extremely busy but plenty of space to watch the fireworks and there wasn’t any pushing in the crowd we were in. It was a pretty wet day so the ground was quite muddy and there was a lot of people struggling with a pushchair which I wouldn’t recommend.

Short review: Battersea Park is a staple part of Battersea for how big the area is and how much green space there is. Whether you want to ride your bike there, chill with your friends or have a stroll if you are nearby I’d recommend! Long review: It’s 4 stars because when it gets crowded it ultimately becomes a bit of a headache. Also you can get lost really easily if you take the wrong route but at the end of the day the park has lot of mysterious areas even a little fountain area which I’ve taken a brief photo of, a mini cliff area, an area near the pond, a flower area with benches, proper water fountain shows at specific timing, statue and way more. For a Park it is eventful and definitely something you can make a day out of, just not when its raining.

Went for the second time with my 2 daughters and grandchildren. It's a large beautiful park with something for everyone. There is a long walk along the walk, acres of grassy areas to sit and picnic in and plenty of tree lined walkways. It has a nice Buddhist Peace center also. It has activity centre's for small children. We had a nice walk followed by a picnic. Spent about 5 hours there. I would recommend Battersea Park to everyone.

One of my favourite parks, has lots of open space for playing, sitting down for a picnic or even a gathering. The playground has different areas for different age groups making it suitable for all. There is also Go Ape you can pay to take part in as well as mini golf in the Putt in park area. Which also has an accessible restaurant for dining with food and drinks. We went for a nice walk, with lots of playing then had a spot of lunch. A nice park to visit and has lots to do in and around it. There is also Battersea park zoo on site. We visited the funfair that is there for a limited time afterwards.

Beautiful park where one could easily spend the whole day here... There is so much to see and do that you could come alone, as a couple or even as a family with children. The park is full of entertainment for everyone!! They also host a series of events, which also brings big crowds to this gorgeous park. I would totally recommend as it has beautiful walk ways, cycle paths, pond/lake, cricket pavilion, zoo, flower garden, tennis courts, playground for children, an events arena, coffee shops, and a few other attractions as well as a car park if you come from far away.

Safest and most diverse park in London! You have the river, the lake, the Battersea Power Station, two train stations, three coffee shops, a Zoo, lots of Santander bikes around the park, Go Ape, lots of running tracks and outdoor workout places, intimate quiet little zen areas, at least two amazing flower gardens, an island, a huge water feature, an Olympic race course, a gym, tennis courts, an events venue, a viewing hill.. No. 1 Park in London!

I have been here for a Corporate Run and the park is very beautiful and huge and is also a haven for active individuals and sports enthusiasts. It has well-maintained sports fields, provide ample space for football, cricket, and other recreational activities. The park's running paths cater to joggers and walkers, encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle while being immersed in a serene environment. Additionally, the park's many cafes and kiosks offer a variety of refreshments and snacks. Love to visit it again.

Still one of the best parks in London, there is so much to see and do here. From the brilliant playgrounds, adventure, zoo, events, mini gold as well as Go Ape, this well worth your time. But the some areas do get busy, as its one of the prime large parks for a number of areas. But its so big, you'll find something to do here.

A very nice park with lots of hidden pathways and a great escapism in the heart of London. A beautiful lake and a lovely cafe in the middle. One end leads to the Battersea new development by the power station and the other then to a great pub where a well deserved drink is in order after a pleasant walk. Fantastic walk along the river front from one gate to another and open late with a great view of the Prince Albert Bridge lit up at night.

Very nice place to spend your day while the Christmas markets are still going on. Slightly overpriced drinks and food (way more than winter wonderland) but you can accept this cost based on the fact that you have your privacy and comfortable seating. Good morning, Amazing to see the changes from just 5 years. This part of London is going to become once again the capital of the world. Amazing skyscrapers, restaurants, high buildings, flats and river and park across the road. Most Amazing view of the river Thames and the Old Batyersea power station. That used to produce electricity for most of London. New hotels and all new residential places.. Great for a morning run, or a bike ride.also available is the river bus boat..Amazing to travel up river and down river. The place of the future with everything at your door step. Well done and lots of success.

Massive, urban park which is beautiful and very well maintained. Children’s zoo, coffee shop, tea garden, pub and food vendors make it the ideal place to spend a day. There is a pagoda, band stand, topiary, ponds and access to the Thames river front.

Battersea Park is a beautiful and historic park in London, located on the south bank of the River Thames. It has something for everyone, whether you want to enjoy nature, culture, sports or family fun. You can stroll along the riverside promenade, admire the many notable trees and ecological areas, visit the children’s zoo or the Pump House gallery, or have a picnic on the grass. The park also has a variety of sports facilities, including an all-weather sports ground, a millennium arena and a bandstand. The park is well-maintained and has a friendly atmosphere. It is easily accessible by public transport or by car, and there are plenty of parking spaces available. I would highly recommend visiting Battersea Park if you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable day out in London

Park that is about 1000 feet by 2000 feet. It faces the Thames on one side, and good neighborhoods surrounding it. They have an herb garden, a playground, a cafe, a peace pagoda, a Go Ape, a lake for boating, a bandstand, and a children's zoo. Plenty of places to relax and unwind.

Lovely park with Thames pathway and playing fields. Some paths can be a bit muddy though. Direct access to the power station development.

Beautiful park for nice day out and picnic! Lots to do in the park, the walk around there is beautiful! Kids play ground well maintained. We took boat ride for 30mins we paid 16 in total for two kids 1 adult. Very family friendly. Toilets clean and lots of food stalls around park to buy from.

Really fun park to have a relaxed day or a fun walk. We specifically went there for the blossoms. They have this really cute lane with a lot of trees that are blossoming right now. It was a really nice experience.
