A wonderful park for roam around and sit. Lot of space for children to play around. There are many flowers, a small animal storage and a cafe for ice creams and small bites. Also there are lot of trails. Cycles are restricted inside the park.

Wonderful park! Amazing plants are distributed around casually. Nice interconnecting paths. It's a great place to watch wildlife animals and enjoy various types of trees and flowers. The park also has very good facilities and at the main entrance a garden cafe offers a variety of delicious treats as well as a restroom. Ideal place for a day out with family and friends. Definitely recommended 👌.

One of the most beautiful parks in the area. It’s a pity butterfly house is closed. But there are plenty of different other places where everyone could find something for himself, no matter are you granny, adult or a kid. Lots of flowers, animals, playground with a sand, cafe, garden.. We love it!

Absolutely beautiful extension of the park with lots of space to stroll and see various areas- enclosed animals, flower gardens, children's playground and cafe to quench your thirst. Also, there are trails through woods and plenty of tranquillity for all. Toilets available as well as numerous benches to relax and just absorb the stunning views. Many accessible paths for impaired or assisted. I totally recommend, but don't tell too many people as the serenity maybe impacted.

This park is so cute, they have deer a beautiful side woodlands sections and a nice view of north London as well. It's a park that not commonly mentioned but I highly recommend. (edited) - I went back and explored the rest. THE IS A WHOLE ZOO. I saw deers, birds, donkey, wallaby & other animals that I can't remember now. It's was fantastic. Honestly I think it's amazing that this park is free. You need to check it out.

A really nice park. Very clean and spacious. Has a flower garden area which has a few benches so you can go and sit there. There are some animals in the park as well and deers too. There are plenty of trails as well. Generally a great spacious park which is kept very clean. Lots of open space. There is parking nearby too.

Lovely park, clean, pleasant for a family day out. Dogs allowed on lead. Food in restaurant was very disappointing, nothing like advertised and half missing.

It is a huge park with an animal enclosure it also has a butterfly garden but as of the moment it's closed you can see a variety and different kind of plants around the park and the also have table tennis & tennis courts i’d say its the best park to watch sunsets around April-May. They also have a cafe & restaurant inside the park.

Golders Hill Park in Golders Green, London is a serene haven that offers a peaceful escape amidst beautiful nature. With well-maintained paths, a charming water garden, a small zoo, and stunning city views from the hilltop, it's the perfect place for a tranquil stroll and quality time with loved ones. Despite its central location, the park radiates tranquility and provides a serene retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Golders Hill Park for a moment of calm in the heart of London.

Such a gorgeous place. There is so much green, such lovely flowers and plants. Great place for some nature photography. There is also a small zoo - which is free of charge. There is a butterfly as well, which we didn't get to visit. It's a brilliant place for a family picnic - loads of open spaces for children to play. We will definitely be going back again.

All of the people that come to this Park are Exceptionally marvellous people themselves. This park also has a very lovely and relaxed atmosphere.

Nice park, with an area called stamper, where in the shade of the trees you can see ferns and moist wood arranged to create a mini climate for certain wildlife and flora.

Fabulous park in the summer. Tennis Courts as well. But muddy in winter. Get your wellies on and see some fantastic animals. A nice pond, children’s play area which is more for the over 5’s but still a nice sandpit and swings for preschoolers. Explore the woods and ducks and take yourself to the squirrel trail and flowered garden. Super fun for the kids. Only off putting thing is a very strange lady who is always in the squirrel walk telling people off if they get too close to the squirrels and what people should and shouldn’t be feeding them. Maybe a sign would be better. Love it xx

Amazing park. Never got bored while walking there. Cold or warm, in every weather, the park will mesmerize you. The rare wildlife and birds, hills to run and climb on, play area for children and ponds will keep you engagement even after an hour of walking. P.S: It's great for photography and enjoying some lone time/ stress busting

Its a lovely park. There are playground and ponds, free zoo. Beautiful rose garden. It loses at 7pm so don't go late. The toilets are closed with is a negative point. There is also few tennis courts that can be prebooked. Around £9 an hour. Great place for families with kids.

Great place but has a little minus that the closer you get to the Pergola the less phone and Internet you have....to a point where you don't have at all.

Great park for anyone looking to see some animals(no petting) and enjoy being outdoors. There's a playground for kids and a gorgeous flower garden to walk through, definitely one for the senses. There's a good cafe as you go in and it provides great bargaining ice cream for kids who don't want to leave.

A wonderful oasis of nature , in my Top 5 favourite London places. There is a small zoo & childrens playground & in the summer its a lovely walk. Avoid the cafe in the park, it's overpriced & awful service, take a picnic instead!

I’m so privileged to live so close to this beautiful park. Golders green is so well kept. Thepaths are always clean, the grass cut. Doesn't matter what weather its lovely. It's safe for children and families. There is a cafe that sells lunch and snacks. They also have public toilets at the cafe. Just be aware that Golders Green section does have closing times so don't be caught inside as they lock the gates

A really good park and not very busy. The location is in a close proximity to Golders Green station. The park is large with everything you need: restrooms, cafe, playground and even a small zoo. Near the train station there is a large selection of restaurants and a supermarket.

A beautiful Park with plenty of space for children to run around . There is a cafeteria that does beverages and lovely meals and an ice cream section that serves delicious ice creams in summer. Also in the park is a beautiful pagoda garden where you can sit quietly and read and enjoy the atmosphere. Also in the park is a mini zoo with an array of different animals from Deer to Scottish wild cats in enclosures. There is also a beautiful pond with a number of ducks that reside in the park. There is also a lovely playground with swings, a slide etc for children to play in as well as sand pits. If you are feeling energetic there are also a couple of tennis courts in which you can play . As the park is so vast there are a number of areas where you can enjoy picnics in the summer

Another gem in London's collection of beautiful parks, this park is a wonderful destination whether you're exploring solo, with family, or with friends. The stunning grounds offer a great area for children to enjoy, especially with the wildlife area featuring bird life and other animals. The park's rich history, leading you to Hampstead Heath park, adds to its charm and allure. One of the park's highlights is the lovely pond, which transforms into a mesmerizing spectacle when it freezes over during winter. The beautiful floristry and foliage throughout the park create a picturesque setting, complemented by ornate fountains and ponds that add to the park's serene atmosphere. Visiting this park is a delightful experience that allows you to immerse yourself in nature's beauty and appreciate the tranquil surroundings. Whether you're admiring the wildlife, strolling by the frozen pond, or marveling at the intricate florals, this park offers a peaceful retreat and a glimpse of London's natural splendour.

  • 4/5 Mark O. 3 years ago on Google
Great to see such a large park on the edge of central London, very pretty and has some wildlife too with a small 'zoo' but it's free so size don't matter. Cafe and toilets on site and disabled has free parking too. Car park nearby is quite expensive so just take a 210 or 268 bus from Golders Green tube station (2 minutes) or walk up the hill (5-15 minutes) depending on fitness as it's uphill and very steep last 150 metres!

Wonderful park with tennis courts, a duck pond, cobbled flower garden, butterfly house, animal zoo, and plenty of ground to simply sit in and enjoy the sun. The park is quite hilly so it may be a little bit of a struggle for people with low mobility, but the entrance and most paths are step free.

Very beautiful park. Some parts are covered in woods as you may feel the smell of the pine tree. Dog-friendly park, children's playground and running areas. There is a toilet separate for ladies and separate for gents. The coffee shop/restaurant is brilliant as you can quickly purchase a refreshing drink after a speedy run. There are fields where you can enjoy the grass or play with a ball. The benches are all marked 'In memory of...'.

Beautiful! Visited yesterday for the first time. Usually Hampstead Heath is the park around the area that gets most credit, and although I love Hampstead Heath, I loved Golders Hill even more. There's parts of It that make you feel you are Lost in the woods, all I could hear was the nature. It also has nice gardens, and a little zoo you can visit,so you can deers and even lemurs! It also has a cafe with an ice-cream stand and a big playground, so it's perfect for families.

A London visitor from France, I ended up here nearly by chance, and discovered what I now consider one of the most beautiful parks in London --and I've seen quite a few now! I was there last Sunday, on a beautiful sunny afternoon, and at one point I told myself "well, the landscape architects have reached perfection here in taming nature...". I had such a feeling of beauty and serenity. It's a family park, with activities for children, but not only. The restaurant is ok, although I found it a bit pricey. The only thing that could be improved is it's terrace, which could be a bit more welcoming, but above all PLEAASE, why bar the customers'view from it over the park??? I'm sure you can fix that oddity, and you'll be perfect! :-)

Love this park it's family friendly as no bikes ride allowed and dogs have to be kept on a lead. They have a lovely rose and flower garden you can relax and if you like you can walk though the woods to a beautiful part of the park that's unseen. You have a coffee shop where you can have sight meal and ice cream. There are some animals for the kids and a play area I always took my son there and we still love going. It's the best park around clean and lovely picnic spots.

Beautiful area where you have a park but also a what it seems like a wild forest.... although the flora is European you have a feeling of tropical virgin forest.

Lovely park especially on a hot summers day. There is a playground, small zoo and butterfly house but unfortunately the butterfly house was closed when we went. Overall a lovely day out with the family.
