Green Park is one of the Royal Parks of London, and also one of the most beautiful parks in London. It is just right next to Buckingham Palace with plenty of trees and peaceful and refreshing view. The park consists almost entirely of mature trees rising out of turf. The park is bounded on the south by Constitution Hill, on the east by the pedestrian Queen's Walk, and on the north by Piccadilly. It meets St. James's Park at Queen's Gardens with the Victoria Memorial at its centre, opposite the entrance to Buckingham Palace. To the south is the ceremonial avenue of the Mall, and the buildings of St James's Palace and Clarence House overlook the park to the east. Green Park Underground station has platforms of the Piccadilly, Victoria and Jubilee lines.

Best part is that as soon as you exit the station the garden is connected to it. On the left side mostly. Nice peaceful and lively place to hang out and have a picnic and roam around the park. Many prefer to sit by themself and relax while reading book, listening music or just wandering around. #metime #carefree Washroom is available inside the tube station which is chargable.

Herds of elephant 🐘 are not what you expect in a royal Park in London but there are several herds (100+ elephants ) arranged between the station exit and Buckingham Palace This makes this brilliant open space even better In line with a number of the parks there are also memorials - the pictures include the one to the Canadian armed services - stunning simplicity and thought provoking

They don't call it Green Park just because, it is a very peaceful and soothing park, full of green scenery. The park has various entrances one of them is next to Buckingham Palaces, which is the most extraordinary view. Well looked areas, trees full of life and a variety of plants adorned this beautiful place. Spend a nice day with your family, friends, significant other or on your own, and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing time.

Beautiful park between Buckingham palace and the Horse guards, with a lake running through the middle. They have a wonderful collection of game fowl, including a family of pink pelicans that are spectacular.

It's a nice little escape from the concrete jungle and a bit of a haven away from the hustle and bustle. There were a number of sculptures when we walked round and it was relaxing enough. There was a very articulate description of one of the sculptures, very bourgeois, then you looked over and a couple of kids about 5 or 6 year old were snaking it with a stick! 🤣

A stunning park. It's very picturesque leading up to Buckingham Palace. Excellent for a picnic or calm stroll with a great number of park benches. I've always entered from just after the Ritz Hotel and the park is always buzzing with people and atmosphere.

Next to Buckingham Palace. This park is part of the big three or should I say big 4. Green park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St. James' park. You can walk from one to the other very easily. Great.

Green park, is the smallest Royal park. I spent a few hours relaxing and sunbathing here. It was so quiet and peaceful here. There are war memorials and memorial gates dedicated to the personnel from India, Africa and the Caribbean, who lost there lives in the world wars.

Perfect place for a little R and R whilst exploring London. Close to Buckingham Palace. It was the perfect safe haven for my little one to run around and spot some very tamed squirrels.

It's a quick route to get to the Buckingham Palace from the Green Park tube station. It's just the grassy land and there is a special water feature closer to the palace in the park. Kids and birds were enjoying a splash in the water in the hot weather. From a distance we thought lots of leaves had fallen into the water feature. They are really some maple leaves carved on to the surface.

Walked though here yesterday on the way back from visiting Buckingham Palace and came across such an amazing monument for the RAF Bomber Command. This us such a fitting monument to remember all those that gave lives and those that survived, monuments like these should continue to be erected to remember and never forget.

Nice big, open park. However, they desperately need to re-pave. They should put in a brick path or some other sort of pavers. The ground looks awful and retains water, so when it rains (which is all the time), it looks really bad and you have to watch out for mud and puddles.

A great day for a walk in Green Park. Clear sky and sunny, if cold ! We began at the Bomber Command Memorial and walked clockwise around to theGreePark Tube station entrance and then roto the great gates, across from Buckingham Palace. Then along beside Constitution Hill, and back to Hyde Park Corner to exit. Many pigeons, horses, dogs. andwalkers, runners everywhere. Avery rewading green space

Smaller park to the north of Buckingham Palace. From the Green Park tube stop you pass through this park to get to Buckingham Palace. There is a small Cafe on the northern end of the park that sells refreshments at reasonable prices.

The Green Park is one of London's eight Royal Parks, a peaceful triangle of mature trees and grasslands offering a quiet retreat from city life. The Green Park is remarkable – and possibly unique – for having no formal flower beds

  • 5/5 Patrick R. 3 months ago on Google New
In the midst of the bustling crowds near Buckingham Palace, The Green Park emerges as a jewel just across the street. Despite the steady flow of people, the park retains an air of tranquility and spaciousness, offering a much-needed respite from the throngs of tourists. A visit to the Canada Gate Coffee Shop, conveniently located nearby, allows you to enjoy a cup of coffee or a snack before embarking on your leisurely stroll or simply reclining for a moment of relaxation. Observing the eccentricity of individuals like the shirtless George Costanza lookalike, it becomes evident that there are few rules when it comes to finding your unique way to unwind in this serene oasis. When you're ready, a short walk will lead you straight to Buckingham Palace, where you can immerse yourself in the grandeur of the Fountain and capture memorable photos of the Guards in their regal splendor. Moses relished the tranquil moments amid the blooming flowers and wholeheartedly recommends this park as a must-visit during your Buckingham Palace excursion.

This is what I love about London, streets are full of people, buildings, buses, cars and bicycles but your turn a corner and there’s a beautiful green park full of nature’s wonders! Perfect for long walks, picnics in summer and if you love autumn then you should visit this park in mid/late November to see “leave and leaves “ everywhere!

Pleasant, clean park on the doorstep of Buckingham Palace. Hire deck chairs for a fee, or sit on the grass for free. Direct access can be found via Green Park Station. Small snack bar nearby. Impressive WW2 Bomber Command monument to be found at the west side, toward Wellington Arch.

  • 5/5 Sir Khris (. 8 months ago on Google
The green park is very beautiful, you can find huge historical trees here that date back to the early 1900s and possibly later. The lawn is very clean and well-kept. There are many spots to choose from if you would like to sit on the grass and have a picnic or just relax. I would definitely recommend it for groups or families that are looking for a good spot to enjoy time together with nature.

The Green Park is located next to Buckingham Palace. If you’re going to Buckingham Palace from the nearest metro - Green Park station -, you have to walk through the park to get there. The park is very clean and well manicured. There are seat offerings at the area, and you can pay ~6 pounds for an hour of seating there. Nice place to enjoy the sun or walk your dog. There’s also two booths selling hot dogs for a snack. There’s sufficient space for you to chill out.

Walked through tmit a couple of weeks ago on the way back from Buckingham Palace to our Hotel, it was very popular and nice. As it was closed to the Palace, the picnic chairs that you could sit on under the shade and catch your breath after a long walk was super expensive and was charging per hour!!

  • 5/5 Luna Z. 1 year ago on Google
Among the London parks I have been, Green Park has the tallest trees. They not only provide shade for visitors, but also give birds homes. ☺ There are also plenty of chairs and grass fields to relax on. You might spot lovely flowers around you when you sit down, so please watch them out! 😉 Well, have I mentioned the Park is close to public transportation, nice restaurants and hotels, and the Buckingham Palace? Check them out, haha! 😄 👍

Really cute, clean park! I did a half marathon here and the course was nice and flat. They have nice bathrooms in the cafe. The cafe has a wide variety of items including baked goods and drinks. This seems like a great park for dogs. Many people were walking with families and dogs.

Of all the parks we've seen in London, Green park is perhaps the least awesome. The best attraction is that it has undulating walkways, they give a rolling hills effect, great. The Canada gate is pretty as well. Beyond that, large trees, seems way less well maintained, and lacking the flowers that abound other parks. You can safely skip it and not miss much. Hope over to Hyde that is a few mins walk away, or Regent is fabulous.

A very beautiful place and pleasant to behold. I came here in vacation with my family and friends. It was really worth it. The place is really a Green Park is what it is! It's very green and pleasant, not much there but an essential lung of London with nice views of the end of Piccadilly, Wellington Arch, but more importantly take a look at the The Bomber Command Memorial. It's magnificent, moving and the detail of each statue is amazing and rarely for nowadays, a true work of art.
