Lovely park right on the river with a great view of putney Bridge. Wandsworth Bridge Road, which runs past the park, is nothing more than a carpark these days. Traffic creaping along the road most of the day. Feel sorry for residents as pollution must be really high around here. Tuesday 16 Jan 2024, got stuck on wandsworth Bridge Road (295 bus) for over an hour. Wednesday 17 Jan 2024, stuck on putney bridge road (220 bus) for 45 minutes. It would seem that trying to get out of southside wandsworth is like trying to get out of a vat of honey with your hands tied behind your back. What is wandsworth council doing to this area?

Not a very huge park but it is charming with views of the river. The trees lining the pavement near the river are magnificent and must be quite ancient.

One of the most beautiful and serene parks I've come across in Putney and possibly London for it's size, right on the river side gives you a beautiful all year round view of the ever changing scene the river creates. Being on a bend, you can see a great deal. One thing being the four barges that are set opposite the park, which house many species of bird. The most common being heron and cormorants. And I'm not kidding, there are plenty to see at all times! Not only is this park perfect for photography, it is a delightful place to run or just walk and take in the fresh air provided by the many tree's, and enjoy all the fluffy doggies that roam around. Basically, I love this little piece of paradise.

Anybody likes walking in Wandsworth Park please be careful about this lady and her dog (in the photo). Yesterday morning when I was walking in the playground near the river, this dog jumped on me and trying to pull my handbag down from my wrist by his mouth. The owner (who was very close by) did not stop the dog until I called for help. When the owner was asked for an apology for his dog’s behavior she ignored and claimed that the behavior of her dog is normal and people should not walk in the playground if they don’t like to be surrounded by dogs. Astonishing!

Beautiful and clean gardens, friendly vibes with lots of beautiful dogs about & plenty of benches to relax at either in the shade or under the big oak trees. Nice river side walkway & bicycle friendly in certain areas only. Ideal for a picnic.

Beautiful, clean little park by the river. I love the big trees and riverside walk. There is a playground, mini golf and cafe in the park. Good option for families with young children and plenty of space for picnics and ball games.

Nice park with great views of the river and shaded walkways,. The 2 restrooms were not in a good state however, with no water/soap left in the afternoon and quite messy.

Lovely park that runs along the river. While not huge (Richmond Park not far away fulfils that description), it has a fun play area for kids, a scenic walk right along the Thames, a mini golf course and easy access from several sides. If you’re in the area and it’s a nice day - definitely a place to relax over the day. Warning: it’s a struggle to find toilets nearby.

Right at this moment. Not big area though, but good for residents living nearby to come take a look. The yellow color looks cheerful even with gloomy sky.

Nice little park to be at a mid-run with views of the Thames and not too busy.

Pleasant park with impressive avenues of mature plane tree and also sycamore/sycamore maple, Acer pseudoplatanus. Seemed popular and safe with many joggers and fitness classes. Note the mini golf is rather pricey and does not accept reservations in-person if the course is too crowded but online only, even if you’re there in the shop trying to book a place.

Well looked after park, those who use it look after it well. There’s a wildflower area, brilliant facilities: tennis courts, cafe, water fountains suitable for humans and dogs, kids play area and crazy golf. Beautiful sunset on the river streaming through the triple avenue of plane trees.

Very nice little park. The mini golf course was fun but could use some TLC.

This is one of the most beautiful public places along river Thames. Amazing and well maintained lawn. A good range of facilities including children play area. A lovely coffee shop, pitch and put golfing. Ample space. A lovely walk in between trees and great view of the river. It's also accessible from several public transport networks from trains on either side of Putney Bridge to buses. It's very child friendly and good for dog walking and running or just sitting and enjoying nature.
