Violet Hill Gardens

Park

👍👍 Must be the only place in london that has an old school working water fountain! A really lovely and hidden away garden that has a play area and little green space with lots of benches for relaxing. It even has decent public toilets. This place is a real relic that’s so fantastic to have around still... People often mention park, garden,

Loved it as a parent. Toddler loved it. My big kid also enjoyed it too. I would recommend anyone who had a bit of time to come and visit. You could easily spend an hour or two...

This is such a special little park that it is hard to explain if you've never visited. The children's playground is well equipped and looks like tons of fun however the rest of the park is what blows my mind. The flowers get replanted based on the season and this is the only London park where the grass is kept in pristine condition. You can also hear and see tons of wild life and occasionally see a fox or 2. That said the park is on the small side but there are plenty of benches and you do get public toilets.

Lovely hidden garden and playground. There are 2 sides of the park: on one side a lovely garden with green grass and on the other side a small playground. I love it as a parent as it’s closed and easy to watch children while seating on a bench. It’s safe: it’s closed and there is only one entrance/exit. However they should put a bit more facilities for bigger children.

Very nice park for children, it is quiet and relaxing. I love to come here with my baby and spend time on a swing.

Lovely small garden / kids playground nestled in St John's wood. Just a stone's throw from the Beatles famous Abbey Road crossing. If you are traveling with the kids and want a nice oasis, this is the spot. Public toilets too.
