A spectacular example of a rose garden! Not only do they have numerous varieties of very well-tended roses, but it is incredibly designed and a soothing, welcoming place to spend some time. It is best (and stellar!) to come when they are all in bloom, but even during the times where only some are flushing, still spectacular to see. It always makes me want to buy new varieties of roses to plant at home. There are places to sit, places to stroll, and green spaces for your kids or pups to romp. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you can make it when everything is blooming!

Really love this place. There are hundreds of different roses. I smell each kind like a bee. They all smell differently as well as look differently. Love looking at their names, too. Some funny. This is truly the English garden of what we imagine. Beautiful in summer. You can get to see some flowers still in November.

This is my favourite garden! I visited the garden today (December 3), and despite the weather and the off-season for a garden, it was absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to come back during the spring when all of the flowers are in bloom. There were a couple of roses that were still in bloom, but man, if everything was in bloom, it would be amazing! I will definitely be back!!! June 2023 Update The roses have bloomed, and they are absolutely gorgeous!!!! Hands down, it's still my favourite garden in London.

It was amazing to visit this place. I could see the artistic design and nature combines well. Hopefully, people respect this place more and don't throw their litter around apart from that enjoyed the natural environment and we amazed by how they could have kept this many kinds of plants besides each other while some of them come from warm countries... Lovely 💐

Best time to visit this garden is the end of May/beginning of June. Went few weeks ago, but most of the roses didn't have yet flowers. Still a very beautiful garden with the little pond and the waterfall.

Beautiful grass and nature. Super clean and manicured grass. On the day had not rained for a while so the wonderful roses were all a bit faded but still contributed to the ambiance. Entrance is free and prices on site for drinks and food are reasonable. Easy to park in the inner circle of the garden too. Paid 10 quid for 4 hours, aligned with other amenities, but does not take phone apps so bring a card or coins to feed the machine!

The garden is not just visually captivating; it's also a place for self-reflection and relaxation. Whether I'm reading a book on a shaded bench or meditating by the tranquil pond, the garden provides a welcome escape from the demands of everyday life. It's a place to recharge, to find inspiration, and to appreciate the simple beauty of nature. conclusion, the garden is a calming and great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The scent of the roses draws you in. They are so colourful, so many different varieties too, even a two toned rose. It’s very peaceful just strolling through the garden even though it was busy. Ample space for social distancing. A big thank you to Nature and to the people who work, there for giving us so much joy every summer.

One of the most beautiful parks in central London. Great for picnics. Open fires and barbecues are not allowed here. Easy access via Bus/Tube/Underground/Metro You definately gonna need few days/visits to discover all around and about. Unfortunately dogs are now allowed, except guide dogs! Public Toilets/Rest rooms are available.

This is a truly beautiful garden in Regent’s Park. I happened to be there at peak bloom in the Rose Garden. There are so many varieties and everything is well marked. The rest of the garden is beautifully laid out. This is easily reached by bus or subway and a short walk.

Most beautiful and large garden I’ve seen so far. There were public toilets in the park. Maps were in the main entrances. A lot of shaded area for resting in a sunny afternoon. The flowers were just beautiful. The surrounding area was very nice looking too.

I was completely new to the garden despite living in the UK for years. It's worth spending a couple of hours in the garden, watching all those roses that you may have never see before. Enjoy those scents from different kind of roses, too. (I particularly like the orange one, which smells kinda fruity). The garden has plenty of spots to sit and rest as well.

Such an exquisite garden. The laws are well manicured and the rose bushes well cared for. The roses are in every colour you could imagine and you are immersed in what feels like a sea of roses. You can find a spot on the lawn for a picnic or sit on one of the many benches and enjoy a book for the afternoon.

Absolutely magical when the roses are in bloom! A must-see in London. They have a lovely cafe and plenty of space for a picnic plus the open-air theatre with musicals, standup and plays. A great day out! It’s Legally Blond running this summer and you can usually get last minute cheap tickets!

I can say this is one of the best places in London to see rose flowers in full bloom. It is very easy to find as it is with in the vicinity of Regent's Park. I found out that it is better to go there early in the morning while there is only few people. It will become crowded starting mid day.

Great variety of beautiful roses. With an assortment of colours and wide area, there's a lot to view. With seats and space, you can relax and admire the scenery.

As soon as you enter the garden, you can smell the roses. We went when the roses were not fully in bloom. It is a peaceful area and the little japanese island has an interesting selection of trees and a cute, but grumpy heron hiding under a willow.

Well kept garden with a huge variety of plants. The design and layout of the garden is absolutely brilliant Would be nice if each variety’s name and bit more details were available. The little water stream adds another dimension to the garden A must visit place if you are in the locality

Very pleasant place with varieties of roses, with incredible smells. The landscaping in some spots seemed a little too wild with tall grass, but it suits the environment. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite crowded. Would go back.

Queen Mary's Rose Garden is a historic garden of 12000 roses arranged in 85 single variety beds. Each year 3 of these beds are replaced with a new variety. Named after the wife of King George V, the beautiful garden was opened to the public in 1932, and completed by the park superintendent in 1934. The overall layout and design are very good.Excellent garden and well maintained! 🌹🥀

What an absolute treat for summer time. Although the roses were still blooming the garden is such beautiful place. If you love roses, then this is one of the best places to visit. A great location for a photoshoot too. Will be going again to capture full blooming garden.

Nicely maintained. Well manicured lawns. Beautifully designed and maintained Rose gardens. Huge collection of varieties of roses in different colours and sizes can be seen in full bloom. Each colour flower is given a name. Huge collection is available. This is the right time to see them in full bloom. In between water bodies are also provided.

I thought I hated the smell of roses, turns out I was smelling the wrong roses. The garden was beautiful and peaceful and the roses smelled so good. Also, shout out to the gardener who saw us smelling random roses and encouraged us to smell all the roses we want. That interaction made our day.

  • 5/5 Daniel G. 10 months ago on Google
I was amazed by the vast amount of roses they have on display, and the majority of the roses were out in full bloom. There are benches dotted around the rose garden, which give a nice, peaceful rest station after walking through the park.

With its abundance of vibrant blooms, this location resembles a fantasy tale. There are many different types of roses, each with unique shapes, aromas, and colours . When I first saw these gorgeous roses in bunches, I was overwhelmed. Being a fan of flowers, I find this to be a magnificent view. When I visited on Sunday, not so many people were in the garden. There are so many spots to sit, unwind, and take in the scenery. I've observed a lot of kids playing while going about or relaxing with their parents. It is absolutely worthwhile to visit this location, especially when the roses are in full bloom. When I visited there almost all the flowers were bloomed.

Located in Regents Park London, this garden is extremely beautiful from late April. The roses will be in bloom from early May, if that is your focus. These gardens offer plenty of open spaces to walk and be on your own if you just want some time to chill. Quite a few public toilets, so you don't have to search for one. Accessible by major underground and bus lines. Do not suggest driving unless you live around the park. There are a few Sakura trees that are in full bloom in mid April.

Fabulous! Peaceful, bright, beautiful are just some of the words to describe this lovely, multi-coloured part of Regents Park. Gorgeously maintained gardens with numerous different varieties of roses in full bloom in summer. Recommended!
