    I have stayed at this hotel many nights. I love the area but last night 5 March 2022 I truly did not feel safe in the hotel itself. In the past no one has requested id on my prepaid check-in. I have no issue with presenting id but mine was scanned and then the employees spoke a different language then requested my passport be scanned, which no hotel has requested. Once I fussed and asked the reason they said it was not needed. I truly feel my personal data has been compromised at they stoll took my license and scanned it. Plus my room was freezing. I would never recommend.

    What can I say except do not stay at this hotel!!! The rooms do not look like the website looks. This is truly a bait and switch situation.. We’ve had nothing but problems and terrible service since the minute we got here. At check-in we were advised that we were welcome to go to the bar since our room wasn’t ready. After a long day of traveling, we were delighted to go to the bar and get an ice cold drink. What we found at the bar was a number of people seated at tables with no drinks of any kind, including water. A female bartender was president doing some kind of inventory. We asked her, “ are you serving drinks?” She huffed and said, “yes”. She then proceeded to walk back-and-forth multiple times without making iContact, knowing we wanted to drink. She literally never said another word to us. We obviously ended up, leaving and going somewhere else to get a beverage and cool down. The air conditioner in the guestroom simply doesn’t work. We have called maintenance and the front desk multiple times for assistance. We’ve been told it’s fixed by one employee and an honest employee advised there old units, it won’t go any lower and it won’t blow any harder than it is right now. We are miserable and nobody at this hotel seems to care whatsoever about our comfort or service of any kind. We called at 7:30 to ask about room service. At which time we were told it closes early on Sunday. I asked specifically what time is closed on Sunday and was told… Just early. I asked to see some kind of documentation as to what time it was open and was told we don’t have any. It is very hard for me to write this kind of review because I have been a Hotelier for over 22 years. However, I would hate for another couple to stay here the last night of their European vacation only to have it runs like it ruined ours. There’s also supposed to be some kind of exclusive access to a club lounge, which is stated on the website. When I asked the front desk agent where the lounge was, he had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. He said I could go to the bar. Now seven or eight hours later I think it’s important to note they’re still not a bartender in there. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I wish we had.

    Horrible place and awful staff that have no idea what they’re doing! DONT STAY HERE. The rooms look nothing like the photos and they don’t even know the hotel layout having sent us to a wrongly laid out room and then claimed it was correct. Isn’t even worth a star.

    So disappointed, we pre booked this hotel only to be told when we arrived that were had to be transferred to another hotel ,which was grand Royal and it is awful not what we paid for at all

    Excellent customer service from all staff members. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious (we had a club double) it was a little tired and frayed round the edges but nothing that impacted on our stay nor deter us from returning. The location was great, easy to get to and from all the places we wanted to visit, Hyde Park is just down the road, whilst being sufficiently away from the main road for noise not to be an issue.

    What a con, the hotel is shut they don’t tell you until you get there then there is nothing you can do. They send you to a bed and breakfast place across the road it’s a mess. Do not use these clowns

    DO NOT BOOK HERE. Cancelled our stay 2 days before we were due to arrive. Tried to move us to a different hotel with shocking reviews. No one answering calls. Says you can cancel new hotel but when you call them they’re rude and say you can’t. Save yourself the stress, you’d be better off taking a tent than booking with these.

    I may be in the minority here but I don’t feel this hotel deserves any star at all from my recent experience. I bought a voucher to stay at this hotel for my 30th wedding anniversary with my wife for 28-30 Dec. Unfortunately, my wife had to have an emergency surgery which means we were unable stay as booked. I tried to contact the hotel via phone and 3 times via and received not even an acknowledgment. I even called their reception and was put through their reservation team who failed to put up the phone. Out of frustration, I contacted the company I bought the voucher from to see if they can get a response out of them. To my surprise they didn’t receive any response either. I am have lost the money I paid for the stay and received to contact to all my email. This is the worst customer service I had received in my life and this coming from someone who has worked in customer service for many years. Awful, awful service!

    Got told via email the day before that our hotel had been changed from one of there others in their hotel family. We then arrived to see the room was not what we originally had paid for. The staff put us in a bottom floor room overlooking an alley way. We asked for a change in rooms only to be bumped up a floor. The room was okay at first glance and then as we started to use things we realised it was tacky and cheap. The bed was two singles pushed together with a joint zip duvet, the room had one glass for water which was cracked, one of the mugs for tea was stuck to the saucer with some gunk and the bathroom had dirt down the side of the shower. Would recommend steering clear of this place.

    communication from head office is terrible, the room isnt the best although its big enough, furniture is marked badly, not overly impressed, was booked at the same hotel but different location, which was closed and i was not notified, very disappointed, will never book with Park Grand Hotels. Disgusting filthy beds, vile and stomach churning, no cleanliness at all. Zero stars as far as im concerned

    I could not have chosen a better hotel or location. The staff are friendly and offer a sense of contentment for their work environment. The english breakfast was.much more then what I expected, they even had gluten free bread and vegetarian sausages! But room 211 may want to change the mattress it sunk in the middle and the head of the bed was down and my feet was up. I didn't want to complain so I slept at the foot. And why was there a fly in the room? I think he left the third night. The halls are very narrow and some guest that checked in with kids was very loud with doors slamming. But what can I say, the hotel is beautiful, simple, and great location. Ask me if I will return or recommend Park Grand London Paddington, of course!

    A very awful & bad hotel.. I do not see any reason to be 4 stars hotel. I paid almost 200 ponds per night but get me a room so tiny. You cannot even open your suitcases!! DO NOT CHECK IN THIS HOTEL!

    BEWARE! If you book with this hotel, they cancel your booking the day before and transfer you to a much worse hotel! This is unfortunately what has happened to us.

    DO NOT STAY HERE ,ITS A SCAM, The hotel is closed there sister hotel is around the corner, When you go in to find out what’s happening they put you in a B&B over the road Booking.com need to stop this company doing this the rooms are tiny dirty you have been warned stay away .wish I could give it no stars

    Location was perfect however everything else about the hotel wasn’t. Tiny rooms, curtain in the room doesn’t even cover the whole window, very uncomfortable bed, lumpy pillows - everything to the staff seemed an effort. I will not be going back.

    I booked this hotel in August 2021 with booking.com. I from Ireland with two small children at 830pm to be told our room was cancelled and they had no other room for us. Apparently they went to charge the card at 4pm that day and they said that it " declined " which was a lie as we had been using this card all day coming from Ireland. We had a pay on arrival arrangement so there was no need for them to charge my card anyway. When I asked about another room I was told there was nothing they could do so I was left roaming around London with two small children in the freezing cold because they gave our room to someone else, obviously they had people in during the day looking for rooms and would make more money by cancelling my room and charging someone else more for walking in and getting a room. At that date it would have been a very popular area as we chose this hotel because it was near to the winter wonderland The staff were so so rude and I was told it was their problem when I explained I had two small children and it was freezing outside. I would no recommend this hotel at all I never got to stay in it but from the attitude of the staff I would not want to now.

    You are allowed to book this hotel online but when you arrive it is closed. No prior warning is given. I went next door to a partner hotel and they told me that my booking had been changed to another hotel 15 minutes away. Initially I was told I had to make my own way but after discussions I was offered a taxi. I have used this chain of hotels for many years and pre-covid they where quite good. Since visiting again post-covid their level of service has fallen dramatically. I for one will not be returning.

    Was closed and was very inconvenience relocating. Some of the hotel chains will do this in London. Better to go for a hotel with out multiple branches.
