Mediocre at best. Hotel beds are uncomfortable. They tend to put two single beds together to make a “queen” you’ll feel the division in the middle all night long. The rooms are tiny. No electric outlets beside the bed at all, you have to connect your phone across the room. The shower has glass partially covering the area so water will always splash out everywhere. I would avoid at all costs.

My husband and I stayed here recently for (thankfully) 1 night. The hotel reception and lobby, which is clean and modern, gives a very false impression of the rest of the hotel. Our room looked tired, worn and smelt of damp when we first walked in. We opened the windows to freshen the room up and let some air in. Everything was very "basic" to be honest, which for the price of just £200 for 1 night we expected better. Yes the location is fantastic, literally right across the road from Regent's Park, but there are definitely better options available in this area, for not much of a price difference. The reception staff pushed hard for upgrades and it was getting awkward saying "no" to everything. After a long day on our feet we grabbed a nightcap from the hotel bar, which is very good and a nice place to sit at the end of a long day. Good drinks and service.

I travel for work and my job always puts us up in hotels whichever city we stay; it’s become a joke amongst everyone at my job that this hotel is the very worst we stay at. I’m not sure how it has 4 stars because it seems more like a 2. I’m not sure if every hotel guest is treated the way we are, or if they are just extra rude and neglectful towards us because they know it is our work putting us here and we have no choice. Every single time we check in, it takes probably half an hour and seems like a shock to them that we’ve arrived despite knowing we are coming. There are several staff behind the counter who stand around talking to each other, though. The rooms are tiny and dirty and we all know to check for budbugs first as that’s not uncommon here. Dirty sheets, dirty towels, paper thin walls, smells of smoke everywhere. The staff are all incredibly rude and make us feel very unwelcome. The pictures they use online are super innacurate; I think they renovated one floor and use that one in all the photos but every single other room and floor absolutely does not look like that. (We never get any of the renovated rooms anyways as I guess we are second class citizens when we stay here despite our employer likely keeping this hotel afloat). Stay literally anywhere else, even a hostel would be better. We are all practically begging our work to let us switch hotels and I pray it happens someday. I personally file a report with my work every time I stay here to document the horrible conditions and treatment and I know a lot of my colleagues do the same so fingers crossed it’s only a matter of time!

I have stayed at this hotel before several times, typically in conjunction with visits to London Business School. I had a confirmed reservation for next week, arriving on the 19th. The hotel informed me yesterday, less than a week before arrival, that the reservation had been cancelled, presumably because the room was to be used by someone attending events related to the Queen's funeral. No alternative arrangement was offered, no apologies, nothing at all. It is the first time in my life (I am 60) that a hotel cancels a confirmed reservation I have without making any attempt to offer a solution. Appalling. I will not return, and I'd like to suggest to those of you reading this with confirmed reservations to the Danbius to think again - is your reservation really guaranteed? Apparently not.

Hotel is very tired and very expensive for what it is. My rooms was not very clean and was worn. The bed was so hard I may as well have slept on the floor. My bathroom sink was broken. My bed side light was broken. The food in the bar was poor quality and over priced for London. Staff were helpful but it didn't help when they hadn't credited my room with my pre paid evening meal and proceed to tell me I was wrong until I proved to them I was right. Which was very stressful ontop of a stressful day. Would not stay here again at half the price.

Fire alarm went off as soon as we got to breakfast. No one knew why and we were not told to go out until we sat down. Shower was cold. Called for maintenance, waited and called again. One bar staff was rude and gave dirty looks and we got room service and same rude bar lady came into the room when didn't ask her too. She was unwelcoming and we didn't stay in the bar as she gave dirty looks at us. Her name is Yuliya (short hair and short lady - sorry not sorry). Giving key to concierge was annoying everytime we wanted to use OUR car. Not enough topping up at breakfast, everyone kept asking for things to be re-filled. Not very helpful at all from all staff, hotel needs a upgrade. Avoid !!!!

Quick and efficient reception service and friendly staff. Hotel hall and lounge are modern and well maintained. However room is slightly under my expectation for a 4 stars hotel as it looks bigger on photos and a bit dark.

In dire need of renovations on certain floors. Not a great place to stay if you don’t have a renovated room. It’s location is everthing though hence the stars.

Stayed here for a week. The hotel’s lobby is small so don’t expect much. Check in and guest services are ok. Key kept not working everyday so it had to change. Room is old but good enough for London. Room comes with small fridge, safe, iron, tea coffee bags. You have to call and request slippers, toothbrush, and shaving gel and razor. Bathroom shower water push is good as well. The room is quiet as well. Excellent house keeping. Location is wonderful, right across the street from Regent’s Park, London central mosque and London business school are close by. There is a pharmacy and a small shop right down the street from the hotel. For information on parking and luggage storage, see attached picture.

Stayed for a short break with my partner and we absolutely loved staying here. Staff were welcoming and always said hello. The breakfast had a great selection and was delicious! Rooms were a good size, always cleaned with fresh towels everyday. Location is great as it's a 10 minute walk to Baker Street tube station. We would definitely stay here again if we were to come back.

Service from the staff at the hotel is incredible. Having stayed at a number of hotels in London I have always felt let down by the service received. However, I have to say that the reception team at the here were incredible. Ismail and Marsha have been very accommodating and we will definitely be coming back again soon. We also had a great room with a lovely view of Lords

Very clean, rooms are a little dated, but always clean. Price is very good for London and it's a walking distance to something you want to visit or the tube. Staff I always very friendly. The only little annoyance is there lift. They are small, 1 is always broken and the other 2 are slow... but it's a very minor inconvenience! All in all it's a good place to stay!

We had a very nice 3 night stay at this hotel. Great staff who helped us with our questions and even prepared breakfast bags for us when we needed to leave at 04.00. If you don't mind taking the bus (there are several lines 50 meters from the hotel entrance), Danubius is highly recommended.

Thank you for looking after my son so well on his first solo trip to London. The staff were so friendly and helpful, even sending him a bottle of wine to celebrate his birthday. Nice room, clean and tidy, lovely breakfast and a great location.

We have stayed here for 6 days. The position of the hotel was good (it was about 15 minutes far from Baker Street), the breakfast was rich and the staff was kind. However, we had some issues dealing with the thermostat of the room: in fact, the room temperature was way hotter than normal (28°C in December) and the staff did not know how to turn it down. We got a fan instead. Another issue concerned the bedcover, which was not that big for our bed.

The hotel and the rooms are great. It's very luxurious and the staff make sure your stay is comfortable. The breakfast is good with a wide selection of cooked and continental. The restaurant is good but the food is expensive. Expect 2 courses and a drink to run you over £30. Try their sandwich selection in the evening, they are amazing! You're about a 5 minute walk in either direction from a Tube station but there are a lot of bus routes in the area so the hotel is still well connected.

The hotel is overpriced for what it offers. Most rooms are not renovated and the noise from the trains can wake you up. Few staff members have an attitude, but overall most are helpful. Rooms are super clean, and this was the only plus I found during my stay. I booked at Danubius a few years ago and again this summer: quality of food and breakfast has significantly gone down.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. They compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be let down. Always have our manager meetings here and have always been impressed with the rooms, service and lunch provided

This was an excellent place to stay. The room was a good size and very clean, and the staff were all attentive and helpful. The room was nice and dark and quiet overnight, with comfortable bed linen ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast was fresh, and with a wide selection available. We stayed here as we were visiting London Zoo, and it is only a short walk away so ideal.

Friendliest staff and crappiest rooms! They need a serious renovation, it was so dated! But I love their staff, always nice, friendly and trying to help. Food was not bad atctheir restaurant, pretty drinks as well!

Ideally situated, nice staff, always trying to help. The rooms are spotless but some staff speak no English at all. Except for the bar that lacks warmth, and has no atmosphere and where you might wait 30 minutes with nobody coming to you, the rest is great. Breakfastis wonderful. The air conditioning should be switched off

£700 for two nights and I’ve been stood at the hotel bar for 30 minutes waiting for some meagre acknowledgement meanwhile the manager that looks like Nicola sturgeon has been collecting plates like it’s her sworn duty. Disgraceful

Don't get me wrong, this is a good hotel but needs an overhaul, rooms etc. The free b&b was good but there was a waiting line of 100 yards as only one machine worked

First time at the Dunubius. Enjoyable and pleasant stay, Jude was very helpful. Upgraded suite foc. Was a bit shocked to be charged £2.50 for every glass of wine on top of the cost of the wine. Food in the Pavilion room was very good, portion size quite small. Breakfast was good

Wonderful experience here from the moment we arrived. The service was excellent, rooms were well presented and tidy, with plenty to chose from for breakfast. A big shout out to the staff member Shihab, who was very professional, polite and always went out of his way to please. Highly recommended and hope to return here in the future.
