A
complete
review
with
some
tips
for
travellers:
Excellent
service,
condition
of
rooms,
showers,
hygiene
and
cleanliness.
The
beds
are
single-sized
beds.
There
are
elevators
and
that
makes
a
difference.
There
is
a
large
living
room
area
at
ground
floor
level,
where
there
are
charging
sockets
and
tables
and
chairs
to
eat
in.
You
can
bring
your
own
food
and
eat
in.
They
also
serve
their
own
hot
and
cold
food
during
the
hours
that
they
cook
and
serve
food.
The
keys
are
regular
metal
keys
with
a
keyring
to
your
room
number.
I
never
completely
liked
electric
cards,in
my
own
personal
view.
Am
glad
YHA
kept
the
keys
'traditional'.
Regular
metal
keys
are
so
much
better
than
plastic
cards!
There
are
sockets
located
next
to
every
bed,
with
a
rather
odd
looking
small
'tray'
with
short
edges
on
the
sides,
to
hold
your
mobile
phone
whilst
charging.
Tip:
If
your
phone
is
bigger
than
that
then
you'll
have
to
lie
down
next
to
a
larger
sized-
bag,
so
as
not
to
lose
your
phone
whilst
sleeping
or
drop
it
down
on
the
floor.
This
is
also
handy
when
charging
up
your
laptop.
I
tie
the
bag
straps
around
the
metal
frame
of
the
bed,
which
keeps
it
in
place
whilst
am
sleeping.
Each
guest
has
an
MDF
locker,
roomy
enough
to
have
small
(cabin
sized)
to
medium
sized
suitcase,
plus
other
things
can
fit
in
altogether,
so
quite
a
roomy
and
handy
locker
to
have.
Tip:
You
can
tie
your
clothes
around
the
metal
frame
of
the
bed,
if
you
don't
feel
like
opening
your
suitcase
and
rummaging
for
your
clothes
that
you
are
planning
to
wear.
I
sleep
next
to
my
tied-up
clothes,
as
they
lie
flat
next
to
me,
upon
the
bed,
and
am
fine.
Just
make
sure
that
they
don't
dangle
down
towards
the
person
sleeping
below
you,
if
you
happen
to
sleep
in
the
upper
part
of
the
bunk
bed.
Tip:
You
can
buy
the
padlock
from
the
reception
area
downstairs.
£2.
Padlock
isn't
waterproof,
as
it
gets
rusty
when
water
touches
it.
Shower
rooms
have
small
hooks
as
far
as
I
recall,
with
metal
bars
for
you
to
fold
your
towel
upon
them.
Please
be
aware
that
in
some
shared
rooms,
there
isn't
always
a
table.
In
the
room
I
stayed
in,
there
were
a
couple
of
chairs
and
a
couple
of
padded
square
seats
in
the
room,
but
no
table
in
the
all-female
room
that
I
stayed
in.
Tip:
Always
pull
the
curtains
as
night
falls,
as
when
the
day
comes,
the
light
can
wake
you
up,
especially
early
in
the
British
summery
mornings!
One
guest
forgot
to
do
that
and
woke
up
several
guests.
So
a
sleeping
mask
for
the
eyes
would
be
of
benefit.
Sleeping
ear
plugs
too,
if
you
are
sensitive
to
sound.
(Some
females
snore
lol!)
Hahahaa!
I
would
suggest
to
YHA
not
to
have
the
curtains
positioned
in
a
way
that
people
cannot
reach
to
close
it.
One
curtain
was
like
that
and
woke
some
guests
up
from
their
sleep.
Tip:
I
place
shower
items
in
a
plastic
zip
lock
bag
(shampoo,
liquid
hand
soap
and
conditioner
bottles)
and
after
I
am
done
with
showering
myself,
I
place
my
shower
items
in
the
plastic
zip
lock
bag
and
that
way,
avoid
having
my
other
items
in
my
suitcase
get
wet.
Thank-you
kindly,
YHA.
Please
do
keep
up
the
good
work
and
thank-you
to
all
the
team
that
helps
it
remain
a
comfortable
and
safe
place
to
stay
in.
Enjoy
your
stay
here,
I
have
for
many
years
and
will
continue
to
return
to
it.
