Location is great BUT... If you’re reading this, DON’T GO. Stayed there for just 1 night and was literally the worst place I’ve slept in my life (and I’ve slept on benches at airports). Slept hugging my bags because I was afraid of them disappearing, and using my purse as a pillow (cause I didn’t want to touch theirs). A guy literally let a homeless drunk man in the room, could hear him the whole night. Went to the McDonald’s/Kingscross station for the bathroom cause this one was absolutely disgusting. Should have read the reviews before booking.

Worst hostel I've been in ever. Toilets and bathrooms were so dirty. The kitchen was filled with drunks. The room I was in is the smallest cubicle ever. Impossible to sleep due to noise on the road and noise from the loud snoring of dem roommates. Very tight and uncomfortable. There's a no smoking and drinking policy but you'll meet people smoking and drinking on the premises. You really don't want to spend a night here.

Absolutely terrible. Very disgusting and we'll never come back again. It was the only one available that date. It smells like humidity and walls were covered by mould. They rent my bed to someone else and the other person had been sleeping in my bed before my arrival, the receptionist changed the sheets, and in the middle of the night the other guy came to the room and discovered that I was sleeping in his bed, that was also mine. There was a guy in the room doing meth. I felt really insecure that night and I couldn't sleep at all. The kitchen and the common room was also disgusting, it smells so bad. Toilets were dirty covered by urine and basins were covered by mould too. Worst hostel ever, it's at the same level as Acacia Hostel, also located in London.

Should have checked the reviews. Booked a place because I needed a place to stay in London to catch an early flight the next morning. The check out time was not until hours after I needed to be out and on a train. Those check out times were hidden away until I had booked. Then upon realising the mistake I saw that they under no circumstances ever issue a refund. Once you have paid, you have paid. You're not seeing that money again. Incredibly frustrating.

Great location and friendly front desk staff. However the rooms are extremely cramped. Triple bunk beds, so we have 12 people stuck in a very small room. Dusty shelves they expect you to put your backpacks on. You can't sit up in any of the beds except the top bunk. There was one fan that only blew at the top bunks and we stayed during London's heat wave and the rooms were unbearably hot. We opened the window to try get some more airflow for all the humidity and heat in the room but it was so noisy outside it didn't help that much. Floors were unclean. The free Breakfast "buffet" was a tub of unrefridgerated pancake batter that's been sitting there open for God knows how long next to a grill where you cook everything yourself. Hint: don't call it a buffet when you're expecting your guests to do the cooking. The buffet breakfast was why we chose this place then we were extremely disappointed.

This place should be shot down there’s no that acceptable to any human being to come into contact with what I have experienced in this hostel ... 0 higiene Cockroaches No water in most of the bathrooms Broken showers Mostly no toilet paper Don’t let the pictures full you because it’s nothing like it... I wasn’t worth the money

Horrible horrible horrible !!!! Where to start ? We booked for 10 nights with my friend, we only stayed one night. I could not take a shower because the floor was REALLY dirty and smelled pee. I also didn't want to go to the bathroom because of the cleanliness of the toilet. I found myself stuck outside my room because the card was no working, there was no one at the reception, I had to wait 10 minutes in pajamas at the entrance of the building. Badly attended place I did not feel safe, some men were often in front to the entry to smoke (I didn’t know what). To end this great adventure, one of our roommates had bedbugs on his body. In short, to avoid !!!!!!

Stayed here 5 nights, only manage to properly sleep for 1: Loud music and people shouting until 1am, followed by roommates coming in at 4 am talking loudly on the phone and turning the light on. Hostel it self is much more crammed than shown in pictures and the toilets/showers are not clean. Fair bit of black mould in the showers and tiles. Only good think about the hostel is its location, price and staff (who are quite nice) .... Everything else, not so good.

The room was so dirty, also the bathroom and kitchen, so terrible! The bed even didn't clean, most facility were broken and can't use.I booked four nights, but can't keep stay anymore, so I booked another hotel and run away that place. The place is so small and don't have elevator, if you have big suitcase, it's hard to carry to the room. I didn't read the reviews before book, although it was very cheap, I won't back again.

I stood there 1 week in a 6 beds room. It was an underground room with a window but there was no fresh air. You can meet great people there and the bar is good but the staff is helpful but not very welcoming. I don't recommend this one.

Cheap accommodation for a night, stayed in the 17bed dorm. The curtains on the beds were basically non-existent so photos are not to be believed. The showers in the downstairs shared bathroom were disgusting, the toilets were clean enough. The breakfast was simple, but supplied. The staff however, they were brilliant. Helpful and very friendly.

There was a mouse in my room. At first I thought the sound was just plastic unravelling. But it continued rustling around all night. Of course I couldn't sleep much at all. I got up early to leave and saw it. I also noticed there was heaps of accumulated rubbish and stuff under my bed. Really gross! The reception thought it was funny and asked if I caught it. Strange and bad place.

Avoid... Hostel close to the station, but noisy, smell of sewage, dirty, welcome to be reviewed... In short, I think it's one of the worst hostels I've been to in London... Very expensive .

Good place to stay only if you’re on a tight budget. The hostel has three decker bunk beds which were comfortable but difficult to get up onto. There are no free lockers to store your belongings too. You have to pay for a locker to keep your valuables. The toilets were not the cleanest and the overall atmosphere felt somewhat grimy and stuffy. Didn’t make me look forward to coming back at night. Appreciated the good location and free breakfast but that was about it.

Kind and genuine staff and clean for the most part. Breakfast basic, no pancakes while I was there but no issue. WiFi worked well everywhere. Not a whole lot of space in the dorms. Quite a few guests who are here longer so probably not a party hostel. Perhaps a suggestion would be more lockers. Fantastic location although the immediate area doesn't offer much.

Disgusting. The hotel had urine leaking from the upper floor and they had a bucket to collect the urine. The shower was completely covered so all the water accumulated and it was full of fungus. Zero ventilation, we had paid for two nights and there was no refund of anything considering that we only slept one night and ran away since we couldn't even bathe.

First off, the only reason i Gave one Star war because I had to. This place doesn't even deserve one. We (3 people) booked 6 nights in that hostel and today was just the first, but I wanted to talk about that nightmare immediately. When we arrived at 2pm, they still hadnt cleaned one of our beds. That was just one little thing of many. There are showers, which you can't lock. Toilets, which are really dirty and clogged up. The room smells very bad and the floor is dirty as well. And the window doesn't close properly, so it's very cold all the time. We tried to talk to the staff and wanted to Check out earlier, but we won't get our money back and we are very disappointed. Of course cleanliness and thing like smells are subject to every ones own opinion but this place is truly the worst hostel i've ever stayed at. I know that the rooms are pretty cheap, but that doesn't mean, the hostel should be dirty!

This place was disgusting. I had not intended to write a bad review because I had left a pair of glasses there and I figured if they were prompt with returning them to me (at my expense- which I am fine with of course) then that service would have made up for it. They have been very unhelpful thus I am compelled to say that this was the type of hostel where your luggage becomes your pillow. I asked someone who was staying there where the washroom was and they laughed and said "I wouldn't go near that washroom if I were you".

It was a horrible stay, everything was dirty, the room that had a double bed was dirty with food spilled on the floor and the table. The bed unmade and with dirty sheets. The bathroom is disgusting. Our stay was for three days and we left within hours. Not recommended.

Amazing service! The best experience I have ever had in A London Hostel. The people/staff are great and so are the prices. It is very cheap and it is located in the Heart of London! Would definitely suggest people to go there and I would 100% BE BACK!

Brilliant staff they couldn’t have done more for me. I was nervous at first as I heard of things being stolen, but after dealing to somebody this is a load of rubbish. I left all my things out all of my stay and lost nothing. Great hostel I would deffo recommend. My room was 7 and was amazing. Even in 35 degree heat there was a fan and a window so the room was cool. Really enjoyed my stay and so so cheap. Price included breakfast and was really nice. Will be booking again. 10/10 6 stars

I’ve stayed in many hostels around the world and this hands down was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Facilities (Toilets etc were broken) the shower room was absolutely disgusting and clearly haven’t been clean possibly ever!? The whole building looks like a smack den (and not in a ‘cool hipster’ way...as in you might contract a disease touching anything way). A lot of the widows have been smashed so have been ply boarded up so the room was freezing. I didn’t hang around for breakfast so can’t comment on that. Other than that, it was ok. Stay at your own peril!

Even if you are really short on money, you should NEVER book this "hostel". Absolutely dirty, moldy, hygiene in the sanitary facilities and the rooms has probably not been taken care of for months, so it is really dangerous to your health to stay there for any length of time! Showers are broken and moldy. Toilets so dirty and unusable that we never used them once. The room was absolutely filthy and there were no fresh bed linens. The "kitchen" was unusable and we didn't eat breakfast out of disgust. The whole building looks more like a construction site than accommodation. The staff were less bothered by the condition of the hostel, which was almost unbearable for us. Very noisy, you can hear every word in the room and doors tend to be slammed all night long.

The worst hostel I have ever been to! The bedrooms were very dirty and the sheets weren't clean neither, you could see hair from the previous guest. The bathroom was disgusting, you could see that they haven't been cleaned for ages, so we were unable to have a shower and there was not hot water . Everything was disgusting. In addition, we woke up in the morning with several pimples all over our bodies. We would not recommend this hostel besides being in a good location.

Disgusting place, several mice were running around in the kitchen, bedbugs were circulating in the beds, the bathroom doors were hitting the toilet bowls, it was a real dump, after the first evening I had to look for another accommodation without even getting my money back for the week of stay already paid for, I still preferred to look for a better place rather than die of some disease.

I spent the worst night of my life here. I arrived at 3:30am after a long trip. 1. They couldn't find the reservation 2. Although I booked two beds in one room, "they only had two beds left in different rooms" 3. The beds were unmade (someone had slept in them) 4. Dirt and bad smell 5. Zero sense of security.
