I
stayed
here
solo
for
one
week.
I
booked
a
bed
in
the
12
room
mixed
dorm.
The
hostel
is
in
proximity
to
the
Mornington
Crescent
tube
station.
If
you
have
luggage,
you
will
have
to
climb
the
first
set
of
stairs
before
reaching
the
lift
at
the
station.
Turn
to
the
right
as
you
exit
the
station
to
find
the
hostel.
There
is
no
lift
at
the
hostel.
There
are
two
flights
of
stairs
to
the
European
first
floor
where
the
12
room
mixed
dorm
is
located.
The
hostel
is
located
in
close
proximity
to
Euston
Station
and
King’s
Cross
Station.
There
are
nearby
attractions
such
as
Camden
Market
and
the
British
Museum.
I
thought
the
location
was
excellent
for
a
tourist
in
London.
When
people
say
you
can
hear
partying,
it’s
true.
You
can
hear
it
through
the
floors.
It
honestly
didn’t
bother
me
too
much
though
as
I
was
exhausted
from
travelling
around
all
day.
I
fell
asleep
right
away.
The
Saturday
night,
however,
there
was
music
well
until
2am.
The
Sunday
night
–
nothing,
dead.
The
underground
rolling
by
sounds
like
someone
rolling
their
suitcase
down
the
hallway,
but
that’s
like
anywhere
in
London.
Lots
of
sirens
in
this
area
too.
Those
sounds
are
like
staying
anywhere
in
London
in
my
opinion.
Lunch
menu
is
reasonable.
There
is
a
discount
available
for
guests,
but
I
never
had
lunch
there.
Drinkable
water
is
available
in
the
chill
out
room.
I
used
this
to
fill
up
my
reusable
water
bottle
each
morning.
As
food
isn’t
allowed
in
the
rooms,
there
is
a
mini
fridge
and
a
vending
machine
in
the
chill
out
room.
Consider
bringing
a
Sharpie
to
label
your
food
using
the
provided
labels.
I
used
this
space
quite
a
bit
during
my
stay.
The
garbage
can
could
really
be
fixed
and
be
emptied
more
regularly.
Linen,
covers,
and
a
pillow
are
provided
with
the
stay.
Each
bed
comes
with
one
assigned
small
lockable
locker.
The
locker
fits
a
21”
carry
on
suitcase
very
well.
Locks
are
£3.50
and
are
non-refundable.
Combination
locks
can
also
be
used.
I’d
get
a
good
quality
padlock
from
U-Haul
or
Princess
Auto
before
coming.
The
wifi
was
very
fast
and
reliable.
The
personal
power
outlet
didn’t
require
an
adapter,
which
was
much
appreciated.
I
appreciated
the
privacy
screens
at
each
bed.
There
were
two
blowing
fans
on
constantly
to
help
with
air
flow
on
hot
days.
There
is
one
ensuite
shower
and
two
sinks
to
share
between
12
people,
which
didn’t
become
an
issue
during
my
stay.
The
private
toilets
and
other
sinks
are
accessible
in
the
hallway.
You’ll
have
to
get
creative
as
there
is
no
counter
space
in
the
bathroom.
Only
one
of
the
bathrooms
has
a
mirror.
As
someone
who
stays
regularly
at
hostels
while
travelling,
the
cleanliness
is
comparable
with
other
hostels
I’ve
stayed
at.
While
there
is
a
personal
electrical
outlet
at
each
bed,
a
personal
shelf
at
each
bed
would
have
been
appreciated
to
place
my
phone
and
other
small
personal
items.
This
would
also
minimize
fire
risk
as
phones
shouldn’t
be
left
charging
on
a
bed.
I’m
6
feet
2
inches
tall
and
I
fit
comfortably
on
the
bed.
Daily
bed
cleaning,
as
I
thought
was
advertised,
did
not
occur.
The
laundry
facilities
are
£4
each
for
wash
and
dry.
Card
only.
There
is
a
laundromat
a
block
away.
Coins
only.
Near
the
hostel,
there
are
many
places
to
get
last
minute
items
such
as
shampoo,
phone
cards,
and
chargers.
There
is
a
Poundland,
Aldi,
and
Tesco
Express
nearby
for
groceries.
For
coffee,
there
is
Prêt
and
Costa.
There
are
lots
of
fast
food
chains
available.
I
felt
very
secure
as
the
side
entrance
was
locked
and
could
only
be
accessed
by
tapping
your
key
card.
Each
dorm
room
is
key
card
accessible.
It
became
a
nuisance
having
to
remember
your
card
just
to
go
to
the
bathroom,
as
they’re
in
the
hallway,
but
better
safe
than
sorry.
A
£2
deposit
is
required
for
the
key
card.
Consider
bringing
hand
sanitizer
with
you.
This
is
a
really
great
place
to
stay
whether
you’re
someone
who
likes
to
party
or
not.
If
you’re
not
into
the
party
scene,
simply
stay
up
in
your
hostel
bed.
Overall,
it’s
a
decent
place
to
stay
in
London.
