We'd
considered
our
stay
in
LSE
Carr-Saunders
as
overall
pleasant
if
you
disregard
the
unbearable
heat
in
the
room
due
to
scorching
temperatures
in
London
at
the
time
and
the
inability
to
open
the
window
wide.
But
then
something
unthinkable
happened
that
made
us
feel
disgruntled
and
altogether
disappointed
with
the
place.
The
place
has
communal
bathrooms,
which
would
be
fine
if
not
for
the
fact
that
my
friend
got
FILMED
IN
THE
SHOWER
on
our
last
evening
there.
No
CCTV
in
the
corridors
meant
it
was
extremely
hard
to
find
the
sleazy
piece
of
garbage
who'd
been
in
the
bathroom
at
the
time
and
done
it,
but
we
feel
the
reaction
of
the
manager
was
still
far
from
adequate.
First,
she
addressed
us
in
an
incredibly
unpleasant
way,
making
us
feel
like
we
where
actually
accused
of
making
the
whole
incident
up
(for
nothing
like
that
had
ever
happened
there
before!)
Then,
when
she
finally
saw
how
shaken
my
friend
was
and
called
the
police,
during
the
interrogation
she
made
it
abundantly
clear
she
had
no
intention
of
informing
the
guests
of
Carr-Saunders
that
there
was
a
creep
among
them
and
women
ought
to
beware
when
they
go
in
the
shower
(how
considerate
-
she
didn't
want
to
worry
them!).
The
whole
thing
ended
the
morning
after
with
me
recognising
the
guy,
having
no
proof
and
no-one
to
report
to
(the
manager
was
not
there)...
by
the
time
she
showed
up
and
I
informed
her
who
the
guy
was,
he
had
checked
out.
Much
to
the
lady's
badly
concealed
relief
and
our
dismay.
They
will,
of
course,
say
they
did
all
that
was
possible
to
help
solve
the
predicament,
but
they
didn't.
We
are
grateful
to
the
genuinely
sympathetic
Mr
receptionist,
but...
Do
I
recommend
the
place?
Not
in
a
million
years!
I
would
not
return
even
if
they
paid
me.
