Amazing value for money when it comes to find a room for a short trip to London. Situated close to everything you might need (supermarkets, restaurants, bars, tube station, big railway station) and surrounded by little parks and historical sites. The rooms are small, but offer exactly what you need. Bathrooms were clean (had a room with shared bathroom) and well maintained and what stood out especially was the breakfast which was included in my stay. Big selection of traditional English breakfast including veggie sausages and varying egg dishes, it is definitely a leap up from what is offered at many of the cheap hostels all over town. Be aware though that breakfast is served relatively early - but if you plan to go on tours every day anyways, that shouldn’t be a big problem. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would most certainly recommend it - to the right people who do not need lots of luxury, but want an affordable yet high quality place to spend their nights. For the price they charge this is by far the best central-London accommodation I have heard of so far.

For students: I absolutely DO NOT recommend this accomodation. The whole staff is unfriendly and they never respect you. Food is globally good but you don't receive enough every day. They aren't wearing a face mask when they serve food while you're required to wear one in all common areas. You are not allowed to be free, to be independant like you should be, and to enjoy with your friends. If you wanna enjoy your year like a normal student do not choose international hall.

A good place to stay for a self traveler with limited budget. Close to downtown and walking diatance to British museum. The breakfast are free and really good! They offer towers, shampoo and body washer, but no hair dryer. However there is no central AC nor fan in the room. If you wanna stay here during summer and do not bare hot, think twice before booking. Other than that, the price worth what it offered.

This is my son's University accommodation for the second year running. Great basic student rooms, although could benefit from some basic maintenance and a lick of paint. The location is ideal for UCL, SOAS and others as well as having green parks close by to relax in and a shopping centre a couple of minutes away. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Woke up every single morning to extremely loud noises that sounded like a chainsaw. Made it impossible to sleep past 8 AM. Unacceptable

I lived in IH, at the UOL, Bloomsbury campus twice -- once as an undergraduate back in 1993 on a British Theater 🎭Summer Program with CUNY Hunter College; & then again in 2001 (taking classes at RADA & studying at London Film School) when I was a graduate student at Yale.

A good place for students to stay. Doesn't have a cramped feeling. Different room options are available. Studio room with attached bath is basic but good. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in the canteen. It takes 5 min to walk down to Russell Square station and 3 min to Brunswick Square. So the location is convenient.

Is a convenient place to stay. The very last time I had a very bad experience with the management. Few rooms away, the tenant was very inconsiderate where he on the music loudly. having complained number of times but he just ignored. Then I complained to the management. The answer was they cannot do anything just because he was a tenant.

Great place to stay for a Holiday in London as it is very central, staff is nice and helpful and the facilities are always perfectly clean. However, the "mattress" if you can call it that, is extremely thin and small, I felt every bedfeather and it squeaked every time I moved so my usually healthy back was a bit sore after a couple of nights. Other than that and a few other very minor details - totally fine for the price if you're only looking for a central place to sleep in

It's quite close to UCL, you get to meet a lot of people. A standard room is quite small, and it gets loud at night, as is expected from a student hall. Once you get to second year and you get your own place you'll realize how nice it was to have a dining hall, even though the food might not be great all the time. It's cheap, and decent for the price. The staff is also very, very nice and very supportive.

Stayed there for around 9 months. The room hardly received any daylight, the management and advisors were unconcerned/unfriendly and the financial services left much to be desired, all while we were charged a price higher than what you would pay for an average 1-room apartment in the Camden borough. Crisis management during COVID-19 was a disaster. Glad we left. Only positives: first, the location. Second, the staff at reception and maintenance, who were extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay.

Bad ventilation, Wi-Fi 4 in 2022 is simply unacceptable. Weak connection makes it hard to work online and stream videos. Washrooms and showers are dirty as well. Wouldn’t recommend.

For Students: *AVOID* Bad food, and likely to get greeted with diarrhoea or vomit in the bathroom. If you're unlucky, have fun walking for a min to get to the bathroom. So many better options at a similar price range in central London. Rooms smell of fungus and is very outdated. Run

Very basic rooms but reasonably comfortable beds and plenty of storage options. Staff can be incredibly rude and uncooperative (including holding guests hostage without somebody to sign them out), and enforcement of arbitrary rules varies depending on who is at reception, making for an incredibly frustrating and inconsistent experience. Location is, however, excellent with easy access to many shops and restaurants at the Brunswick centre. Good parking accessibility between 6pm-8am.

Majority of this hall is single room, then a smaller portion of (single and double) studio. Single room is really small, but good enough to stay on your own. Toilet and shower for single room are generally well maintained, cleanly on a daily basis. Cater provided for the single rooms are not bad, but if you eat for a year or too things will get a bit dull. Still beter to have cater than none. Studios rooms have a bit of ventilation issue, if you cook heavily for multiple dishes, temperature rise to a stuffy level and you have to stop and catch a breath. The facility at the hall is satisfying, common room has pool, nintendo wii, cinema room has PS4 and there's a open garden. Although the entire building is old, things are repaired relatively fast so you don't have to worry about issues that comes with old building. Considering it being cheaper than most of accommodation near this area, I would call it a economical choice.

The worst receptionist ever in my whole experience in accomodation student. Also, the hall manager is a very rude woman who just keep on saying “you are wasting my time”’every time you ask for help. I experienced different kind of situations there, still no one has able to help. They only care about the payments but not about the student safety. I don’t recommend this hall at all

Great location although the room is a bit dated and unclean. There is dust buildup above the kitchen counter and upon move-in there was hair from previous guests on the floor, walls, countertops, and bathroom. Fine for a short term stay, but not the most comfortable for long term. Frequent maintenance needed. Shower door coming apart.

I booked the dormitory for half a year, but the whole building was under maintenance for three months, the environment is very bad.

I ordered salad and gave me wraps. The staff blame on me that I didn’t check out inside:it’s vegetable inside the wrap so its salad. Very unbelievable and bad attitude. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this accomodation. The whole staff is unfriendly and they never respect you. You don't receive enough food every day.

😠 At this price, you could settle for a 2 star hotel or even a 3 star. At this hostel, you get no tissue, no hairdryer, a choked sink with shared toilet.
