I
lived
at
Garden
Halls
for
the
first
year
of
my
undergraduate
degree.
The
rooms
are
quite
modern
and
well-equipped,
the
bed
size
is
decent
and
the
furnishings
are
good.
The
ammenities
were
nice,
the
locker
system
for
mail
is
great
and
parcel
collection
was
relatively
speedy
after
the
initial
weeks.
The
location
is
a
big
plus,
very
close
to
Russel
Square
and
King's
Cross,
and
the
Brunswick
Centre
just
next
door
has
everything
from
a
Waitrose,
Sainsbury,
Starbucks,
Asian
Supermarket,
Restaurants
and
a
Tesco,
Pret
and
Costa
just
down
the
road.
Had
a
great
experience
with
the
staff
at
reception
who
were
always
prompt
and
helpful,
especially
Serge
and
Philip,
great
guys.
The
security
is
really
good
too,
especially
at
night-time.
The
downsides
are,
the
food,
breakfast
is
tolerable
but
dinner
was
always
terrible.
Out
of
the
9
months
I
lived
here,
dinner
was
agreeable
was
on
barely
5-6
occasions.
Also,
if
you
do
chose
ensuite
catered,
the
kitchens
are
practically
useless,
with
only
a
microwave
and
a
fridge.
Very
pleasant
overall
and
would
highly
recommend.
It's
definitely
worth
the
price.
