I write this review as quarantor for my son who was offered an unacceptable room Silver Ensuite with a painted window that you could not see out of or have natural sunlight and with a shower literally on top of the toilet and impossible to fit an normal adult. The reception desk was unable to assist and when we complained NO alternative room was offered or any accomodation solution. 10 days later we received a no reply email acknowledging our complaint and that in 10 working days our complaint would be assessed. 10 working days have passed and we have not heard from IQ Halls - we demand a refund of our first payment and will take legal action in the next few days. In the mean time my son , an international student is homeless and staying with friends here and there till the matter is resolved and a new room becomes available. My Conclusion is that IQ Halls only want your money, they dont care to resolve any problems and are the most remote and impersonal company I can think of whereas they are in the hospitallty business ! They should take care of our children , their clients in a more humane manner and not treat students as sheep !!!!!

The reception is not good, they have low efficiency and bad temper. The parcel picking time is 3pm-10pm. But when I get to the reception at 8pm. The staff told me I should get to the reception next day after 3pm. When I want argue with him, he turned around and started to talk with another student. I felt very very angry!

Unfortunately, everything they say in the comments is true. Cleanliness is a serious issue at IQ Will Wyatt. When I first arrived in my room, it was not clean. Dirty bed linen, dirty floor. I had to request cleaning. They did the cleaning, but superficially. The bathroom stall, toilet and sink were impregnated. I stayed there for three weeks, they didn't clean my room once. They also did not inform how the cleaning of the rooms works, how to request it. The shared kitchen in my block, 2C, was always stinky. One of the refrigerators is simply rotten and cannot be used. I also didn't have a tour of the place. They just left me in my room. They didn't show the kitchen, laundry, common area, anything... I had to explore everything on my own. It's a shame about the cleaning issue, because the structure is very good. The furniture is new and good, the kitchens are well equipped, but everything is clearly lacking care. On positive points, the location is good and the size of the room is great.

The staff are always so friendly and helpful with any matters. They're also very informative and supportive to any and all issues that us residents might be having. Big thanks to Greta, Jai, Gopi, Danny and Martin for the excellent service and always having a smile on their faces whenever greeting us! It's a walking distance to my university and there is plenty of food and shops nearby to ensure that we have all the essentials. The area is generally safe but you do need to be alert at all times, as expected anywhere. The flat itself is a good size too considering it is between 7 to 8 rooms in one flat. The kitchen is shared and is spacious, with a common area, dining high table and plenty of counter and shelf space. The facilities in the kitchen are also well maintained, new and fully functional. The room itself is about 11 squared meters which is a decent size for a solo tenant and has space for all of my belongings and clothes.

While the accommodation is still under constructing, I have had the best experience with the staff members, specially Jai. He is eager to assist any student that approaches him, continuously offers each person that walks in a welcoming smile, and does his best to ensure that everyone at the accommodation feels at home. Thanks Jai! Additionally, Charlie has easily been one staff member that I can approach with any issue. He has assisted me with problems in my room, issues with other students, and is just a welcoming person overall. These two staff members are great and I truly grateful for their support and their advice as an American international student.

The accommodation is a new building. Needs a few improvements however the team at the building have assured us that they are looking into it. Cons : 1. The Common Rooms/Kitchens lack ventilation due to No Windows & Exhaust Fans. 2. Boilers installed in the halls & kitchen making the floor & rooms very warm during the summer. 3. Washrooms lacks exhaust fans. Pros : 1. Located centrally & close to universities. 2. Common areas on the ground floor are good fun. Special Mention to the Building Manager - Jai Gosai. He is really helpful & goes the extra mile to ensure the residents are comfortable.

The staff at my student accommodation showcased remarkable adjusting skills. Whether it was addressing concerns, accommodating requests, or ensuring a smooth transition, Jai, Martin, Greta, Gopi, and Danny. Oliver's attention to detail ensured a seamless experience, and his genuine warmth made me feel right at home. Their ability to understand and meet residents' needs contributed significantly to a positive and comfortable living environment.

This again was based in Old Street and was a building that is used for halls. About a ten minute walk from the station but for a student there were restaurants laundry and other shops a person may need on a daily basis

It is a good accommodation. But from the current scenario it seems like they are too ignorant as I haven’t received my refund of security deposit. Usually it happens between 28 days, but its been more than 2 months that i have left the room. I have written 3 emails but none of them has been responded to. Highly disappointed

The dorm might look interesting outside and the staff seems quite friendly. However, when it comes to actually living here, there's gonna be enough of challenge for those who like to leave in peace and quiet. The walls are rather thin, the neighbors are your typical university student party animals, the tidiness of kitchen and public spaces sometimes looks trashed and messy. That's why I won't suggest it to anyone who looks for a cozy student housing. Other moments that irritated me personally are the heaters that work for 2 hrs maximum unless you constantly press the button and pray for it not to count in your housing debt. Also windows aren't meant to be open so easily and the shower is a whole different story. If you don't like shower cabs that barely provide you with needed space, have curtains that don't reach the floor which easily floods the toilet due to no obvious barrier, then this housing is definitely not for you. Glad that I am leaving this place soon enough.

The accommodation is pretty nice, the rooms are well designed. The only problem is the size of the shower as it's too small. Also, the staff here is excellent. They are always willing to help with anything. Special thanks to Jai, Gopi, and Greta for their responsiveness and willingness to go above and beyond in any situation.

Came to check in today at iQ Will Wyatt Court and I was greeted by Jai who explained everything and even gave me a tour of the building. All other staff at the front were amazing with great smiles and always ready to help. (Greta,Gopi,Sid). The room was nice and clean and in excellent condition, would 100% recommend staying here, staff over here are 10/10 always welcoming. Best accommodation I’ve stayed in so far.

I am going to be completely honest and say that the only reason I chose to stay here was because I had few other alternatives as an international student. But if I had, I would've chosen them instead. There are fruit flies at every corner, unpleasant smells, and the fire alarm goes off almost every day for no reason; several times a day, even at 1-2 AM. Also, it is not rare for the elevators to stop while in action, and the doors keeps randomly opening themselves when you try to either go up and down. It creates delays, frustration and safety concerns. On the other hand, very nice staff members who are willing to help you with anything you need. I am not blaming anyone from the staff at all. I am just saying that it is unfortunate, and I hope that these issues will be fixed so that students can enjoy the good things Will Wyatt has to offer.

My experience at the student accommodation was truly outstanding. The staff, particularly Jai, Martin, Greta, Gopi, and Danny, exceeded my expectations with their exceptional service and remarkable politeness. What stood out the most was their remarkable adjusting skills. They consistently demonstrated a high level of adaptability, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and effectively. Their ability to make residents feel heard and valued significantly enhanced the overall experience. I am grateful for their dedication and professionalism, making my stay enjoyable and stress-free.

The accommodation is very expensive and quite dissapointing. The bathrooms are horrible and I don't like how they don't have a cleaning lady for rooms that students leave, I arrived to a dirty floor and a disgusting toilet. The shower was on top of the toilet! Also the stoves on the kitchen are very difficult to use, not even the staff knows how to use it! The bedroom is very nice, lots of charging spots, the bed is comfy, the wardrobe is big and the desk is sizeable, there are lots of storing spaces and the ventilation is quite nice. I am dissapointed with how this IQ doesn't have a gym but the living area is ok. I wished they had a pamphlet with all the thing going on in the acomodation and a board to put part time job offers for students or cultural events. Staff varies, some of them are nice and helpful, others not so much, they are too focused on their own things instead of helping us the students. And there's this woman who was rude and very unhelpful when I had problems showing her my payment for true acomodation, acting as if I was a thief! Also they need to fix all the washing machines in the laundry area! The location is good but you can get lost easily lost if the sky is dark because of the lack of light, they need to get a better logo. I suggest them to also create maps for students to give them directions and to locate them to know the city. This review is my first impression, this may change but I hope that the staff will help me understand the accommodation better.

I am staying here for two days. I talked to the officer at the door 3 times, 2 times with the place where I registered, but still no pillows and quilts were sent to the room. When I talked to the officer, I sent an e-mail to me, I am responsible for security, and they did not respond to me. I do not recommend

Jai - I came for a viewing and I have to say he has given me an excellent tour of the building. He is really good at selling and giving information to me. I would 100% recommend seeing Jai when coming to the accommodation for anything. Honestly he deserves a promotion. Overall the building is lovely and love the room space.

Overall a very nice experience at IQ! Make sure to check if the bathroom is sufficient for your needs but otherwise you get a great room and a very nice social space. Moreover, staff was always very friendly and took care of all problems etc. Can definitely recommend!

I stayed for 10 days, it didn’t get cleaned for 10 days! The kitchen or corridors’ bin will never get clean and it is always smelly and full of food flies. I do not recommend anyone who cares for cleanness sty here. Staff are supportive and helping but cleaning service does not exist for the common area overall.

invasion of privacy definitely one of the biggest issues in the dorm. Grown men who were both staff and residents were walking in and out of our all-female private living spaces as they pleased without knocking (somehow their keys had access) and when we complained, we were told we had to take it to higher management, which we did. The keys all got reset but the entire process was frustrating to get through since they obviously would rather have turned a blind eye had we not been extremely vocal about it. Dorm appliances constantly breaking, cramped, not the safest neighborhood (catcalling). Moving out soon. Some receptionist staff did make the experience tolerable tho. Shoutout jai and oliver 🙏🤩

I lived in a silver en-suite room here for 1 year. Firstly, the staff here are super friendly and helpful. Never had a bad interaction with any of them (Charlie, Gopi, Jay, Greta and the rest too). The building hosts small events often, such as Mochi making or pizza nights and more, as well as free popcorn or snacks for residents. The rooms are of good quality and spacious enough for an en-suite, with plenty of storage space. My room personally had a nice view of Liverpool street. The only issue was the bathrooms were a bit small but manageable. Our kitchen had a table for 4 with a sofa and TV as well. Its a nice kitchen with plenty of storage space per person. Some essentials aren’t provided however, such as a toaster, kettle or any cleaning equipment other than a mop. The common room is well maintained and spacious with plenty of seating area. It includes a cinema room, study spaces, pool table and foosball table. The location is quite central. 5 min walk to Hoxton station and 10 mins walk to old street station & shoreditch. For Muslims, there is a very spacious mosque (Suleymaniye mosque) nearby and also Hoxton Islah . Also, there are some halal butchers (ELIF food centre and hoxton family butchers) very close-by.

Horrible experience. I don’t recommend. I don't have the peace of mind to sleep because 3 children aged 16 to 20 don't know how to behave. They run around the apartment, scream and knock on doors. I asked reception (which is my right, as the stay I paid for is not cheap) to change rooms. But they said they couldn't do anything. Or I would have to wait until next Monday to try to resolve my problem. I haven't rested for a week and no one solves my problem. I am tired.

I’m pleased to have chosen IQ Will Wyatt Court to live at during my studies in London. Location wise, great proximity to supermarkets, restaurants, and other local businesses. The Old Street tube station and Hoxton London Overground station are within walking distance and there are bus stops near the front entrance, so you can easily get to other parts of London via public transportation. The rooms are adequate and you get what you pay for. Special thanks to the on site team, especially Jai and Greta, for making my stay safe and wonderful.

The team at the desk is helpful and friendly (Charlie, Martin, Gopi, Jay, Greta and others). The accommodation was good, the rooms could have been bigger though. I wish there were facilities like a gym like other iQ accommodations. Well located in the heart of London.

You get what you pay for here but I must say some of the service has been really pleasant. The Father and Son duo, Martin and Charlie, go above and beyond, being both socially interactive with the guests and proactive in their duties. Similarly, Jai Gosai is a breath of fresh air. He understands our complaints and knows what people need and want before we even do.

IQ will Wyatt is not worth the stay. The rooms are too small and IQ is not a helpful company. The service is outstanding. The rooms are decently size based on what you get in London at this price. The staff is very kind and helpful which makes the transition easy, and there are a lot of in-house events organised on a monthly basis as well.

Iq is adequate. However, it’s the service that stood out the most to me. Charlie and Shakthi are the best parts about IQ. Charlie is always ready and happy to help with any problems. If I ever have any issues, I’ll look for Charlie. He always puts a smile on everyone’s face and is a genuine person!

I stayed here recently for just under a year and would not recommend. Good points were bedroom sizes are generous, and the location is pretty good. Unfortunately, for the price you pay the interior looks cheap in-person, and the furnishings are not that durable. Problems never resolved properly or efficiently, and was impossible to seek help from staff. The smells and appearance in communal areas were very unpleasant too due to lack of maintenance. There are similar-priced accommodations I've stayed at close by and amenities are way better; more professional staff, and the overall ambience is much calmer, nicer, as well as clean! A lot to improve here...

The place is nice, and you get a good size of a place for London. The shared kitchen is alright, but it does get a little crammed if everyone is in there at the same time because you're sharing with 7 people. The area/location isn't too bad either, there are quite a number of amenities around the area too so its pretty convenient. And, the staff are pretty great too, really friendly and helpful, Greta, Gopi, Jai, Oliver are always helping out whenever we need something. Regarding maintenance, Martin is always helpful too if you've got any issues.

The room is nice and well designed, but the bathroom is very small. The lift in block D is always broken and never gets fixed properly, which is really annoying and frustrating. The communal spaces get quite dirty especially during the weekends. I’m not sure if I will stay here for next year.

First off I want to praise Danny and Martin from the maintenance team, as they are always very quick to fix any problems we’ve had and are always really nice! The location of this accommodation is great and feels very safe. My only issue so far has been the fact that the showers in the en suites are very small especially for the price we’re paying, but I suppose that’s London prices for you.
