I came by the high recommendation of an associate. Coffee was not bad but service was terrible. I walked in for the first time and since there's no menu I asked what they served. The guy looked at me in a very disrespectful way and told me just tell me what you want. When I was paying for my drink he complained continuously about how people like me took all his change so he has little left. Generally felt uncomfortable the whole time I was there. I will not be going a second time.

I happened to spend a week at a friend's living at the Highbury Studios (just upstairs from Sacred) so it was literally my local. I was quite chuffed I just had to walk a few steps to my morning coffee and potentially to lunch - but I found the prices really steep considered the quality and variety of the offering and the level of service. The coffee is OK, although it doesn't necessarily come quickly, nor with a smile from the staff. Food, on the contrary, doesn't look or taste too appealing although admittedly I didn't ask if it's made on the premises. A cookie was overly sweet, chewy and vaguely stale as if it had spent too long int he jar, and a toasted banana and dates bread was just too cardboard-like to be eaten. I wanted to try the savoury stuff, but £7 for a bagel did put me off. With the increasing number of nice cafes along and around Holloway Rd., I think Sacred is an option if you live in Highbury Studio (stick to the coffee and use the wifi), otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

They are always very slow in making coffee and they can’t serve more than 1 costumer at a time. However, I keep coming daily as I like to support local businesses. Today they had me waiting 15 minutes because they were preparing a Deliveroo order. I would suggest they start serving their local costumers On time and maybe then look into expanding to online orders.

Nice place: good coffee, good music and chilled. Food can sometimes be disappointing as its standard seems to randomly evolve and that you often find out that they are missing an ingredient or even that they no longer do some of the items on the menu. But if you are there just for a coffee and cake, would indeed recommend.

Not the best price-quality comparison (it's like £6 for a capp + croissant) but I have to say they always have fresh croissants and their coffee is good. The only reason this is not 5 stars is because there are many local places (e.g. Coffee Zee) where the coffee is better quality and the price is the same if not lower.

Seems like this coffee shop had some issues in the past, but I went there a couple of times lately and the coffee and service were actually really good. They also introduced me to anzac cookies and thanks to how good they were, now I bake my own. So pretty happy overall.

One of my most favourite places in London. I've already been here few times and I can say it was an amazing experience! Cappuccino is fantastic, maybe one of the best in London. Had a busy day and I just wanted to chill a bit with a coffee in the hand, so I stopped here and ordered a cappuccino, since the staff recommended it. It was so warm and sweet. Staff members were really nice and polite, especially for recommending me the cappuccino. The prices are affordable, nothing really I cant handle. I will be sure to come back here more often at this great place.

Good coffee and pastries (I got there around 8am and they were still hot and tasted like they had just been baked), however the service is very slow. It took over 5 minutes to get my latte and I was the only person in the coffeeshop...

This a very nice cafe with good coffee and snacks. It also very bright and has nice decor. Unforunately they always play loud rap music which is very irritating. The music is angry and aggressive and often has swearing. Staff will sometimes turn the music down but not always. I would advise against going here if you want to read or work quietly or have a conversation with someone. For some reason they want it to have a club/bar atmosphere which makes no sense.
