The interior is really nice and a great aesthetic. However, the staff weren’t the most helpful or friendliest. The coffee and chocolate milkshake my sister and i received were overflowing with cream on top. It was delicious but there was just a bit too much. Had a hard time finishing it

Went to the cafe here and the hot chocolat was delicious. They came at a good price and they had a variety of different types of hot chocolate on offer. The person at the cafe accidentally gave us the wrong flavour, so gave us the one we wanted for free. Both were thick, tasty and smooth- I would recommend it.

Best hot chocolate I have ever tried in UK. They also have many selections of Chocolates products and nice bags for gifts.

Well if you ever get a chance to visit such a unique store layout it's worth the while. A unique twist to modern hot chocolate. The cafe is a highlight and a true flair of the company and how it has grown and developed. The quality used and what they are trying to achieve is great. The customer service is warm and friendly as expected. All the staff including the manager seemed friendly knowledgeable and well aware of the products. This is a great place to visit and head downstairs away from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden.

Usually I have a fantastic experience in Hotel Chocolat (different locations), staff are always happy to help and recommend products. However, I visited this branch yesterday and was completely disappointed with the 'service' received. Upon entering the store, I was cut off when I started to ask about specific box of chocolates and told 'look downstairs, there is more choice.' Once downstairs, there were no members of staff available to help as they were all upstairs chatting and telling customers to just go downstairs. Will not be returning to this specific branch...

This branch has a small cafe in the basement with a wide range of chocolate drinks. Dint forget to add cream on top of yours! However, rather than sell water in plastic bottles they should have some jug with tap water and some ceramic mugs, as all the glasses are disposable.

Nice place to go and buy and try real nice chocolate. There is lots of choices of different chocolate to buy. There is a downstairs café, which sells hot drinks from tea to hot chocolate which is very nice. The cream is nice with the hot chocolate, which is free and would recommend on the side and eat with a spoon. Highly recommended place if you love chocolate.

Go downstairs. Always less busy and you can get really great hot chocolate. Definitely get the free chocolate whipped cream. It's more like chocolate mousse. The frozen hot chocolate wasn't that great. It was warm.

Everything was amazing. But the two girls on shift could have been a bit more engaging and confident. They were very sweet though.

The quality of all the products is divine. BUT... we arrived 10 minutes before the closing (without being aware of it, as it was on Sunday) and when we ask whether we can browse around the store one of the employees responded, with a bossy attitude to us ''you have 7 minutes!!". I am working in hospitality and I do know how hard it is to relocate everything before the closing. However, when it comes to manners and the basics of customer service I do know how to INFORM and not command a customer that a store closes at 7 minutes....
