Before you purchase this pass, keep in mind that you can only do two attractions at most per day if they are close together. Most attractions are opened from 10-11am to 4-5pm with line ups. We were in London in March (low season). We lined up for 30 minutes for Westminster Abbey and 2 hours for the London Eye. You have to go to the ticket office to redeem your pass for the London Eye. You will be given a ticket with a specific time to start lining up. We tried going to Madame Tussauds twice but it was a 3 hour line up both times so we gave up. London Dungeon was a 20-30 minute wait on a weekday. We went to the Aquarium after. It was an hour and a half before they closed and there was barely anyone there. The London Explorer Pass is valid for 30 days after the first activation. In my opinion, it's not worth buying the London Pass when you only have 1, 2, 3, 6 or 10 days to utilize your pass. Considering transit time, the time you spend in line ups and time to enjoy the attraction, you can do at most 2 attractions a day.

The London Pass is not a place, it is a pass that you can buy per day, to visit monuments in London, I have had a very bad experience, they do not have updated places to visit, one of them has not been there for more than five years being within the London pass, I bought it for three days and I didn't use the last one, what a disappointment, my goodness to return that day, these are incredible people, I bought three passes at €152 each pass and they refunded me for one day and of the three passes 57 pounds I feel cheated, when I return I won't even think about buying a London pass again.

At least we saved money, but... - With many bookings you sometimes have to reserve a long time in advance. Dropping by spontaneously is not possible. Changing of the Guards Tour 8 weeks before? Now seriously? - The best was Kensington Palace. Only by pre-booking by email, you received an answer after 1 hour with the slots still available, you select one and then no further response. Nothing more even after 2 more emails. No reaction. Luckily the staff there were kind to us, there wasn't much going on and we were allowed in without a reservation. They gave us the impression that this problem had not occurred to us for the first time. How about a modern online reservation system? - Shakespeare Globe Theater Visiting hours are a joke - Uber Boat first boarding only possible at 4 piers because, according to their staff, scanners are only available there??? Everything piles up there and you wait an hour for your boat. Yes what's up? Give them more scanners and people will automatically spread to all the piers. Waiting time shrinks and everyone is satisfied. That's total nonsense. - If you also had attractions like the London Eye or Madame Toussauds, that would of course be great too. - Oyster card included in the app, that would be nice too. Conclusion: Still clearly room for improvement.

I bought the 10-day London Pass for my family and we had a blast! We visited so many attractions and museums, and we saved a lot of money. We especially enjoyed the Uber Boat, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, Chelsea tour and Windsor castle, etc. I highly recommend the 10-day London Pass for anyone who wants to explore London in depth and have a memorable experience.

Somehow we got scammed on this, we bought the London explorer pass but they sold us the London pass, as they are the same company. Only found out this after we were in London, turns out their attitude is, your problem. Do not buy from them. There are other passes directly in London which are easier and better if you want to do the main stuff downtown. Stay away, I’d give it 0 stars it was possible. The positive reviews are most likely written by them.

You save only couple of pounds, but you waste a fortune in time!!! Such a waste of time! You have to queue to book entry time slot for every single attraction, basically you have to queue to turn your pass into e ticket. If you are after the London eye, Sea Life etc. look for their Merlin's Pass. With that pass you can book times online and it is so stress free and easy!!!

BUYER BEWARE! London Pass fixes their app to ensure you can’t get a refund for any unused passes. I purchased 4 passes and at the last minute, one person cancelled so I was careful to only use the first three passes each time we visited an attraction. However, I didn’t know the app rearranges the passes every-time you open it! So, when I went to get a refund for the unused pass, I was informed it was used! I asked them to show me the use and it’s clear only three people used the passes but they refuse to acknowledge the rearrangement in the app and refund my money for the one pass! If you purchase multiple passes, I suggest ordering them individually, in case you need to cancel. The pass savings are good if you plan carefully. It’s a shame their business practices are not transparent when it comes to being honourable about the refund process.

Response to business: London pass was in the loop and did nothing to assist. Going to London and paying for an expensive pass but not being able to join the walking tours was not a good experience. Original review Horrible experience a few years back where the walking tours provide refused to let us book certain slots because I was booking as a london pass holder. We were 20 minutes late to a THREE HOUR walking tour due to traffic coming to a standstill because of a parliament session attended by the royalty. Though he would have been paid for the bookings, he refused to reply to allow us to join the group. Highly unprofessionally run "London Pass"..

BEWARE SCAM! No point in taking this pass apart from losing money. Skip the line is non-existent at most attractions. The queue at Westminster Abbey is even made up of people with London Passes and people without tickets!! By purchasing your ticket online, you will not have to wait. 3-day London pass purchased to be able to use it for only two days because reservations were not possible with the London pass, so we had to postpone the entire program. No international customer service and we will not make the effort to speak slower (my English is not bad though) To flee

Really good to have, many options to go, but you only can go to once to every attraction, there is no a go again to the same place. But in case you only want to go to museums is better you search well cause almost all are free.

100% recommended, you should plan the hours the attractions open, closing times, which attractions require reservations in advance so you don't have a bad time! It worked perfectly for me according to my planning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love this pass, I have used them for the New City Pass and York City Pass too. I love love love London and this just makes it easier to get about and go to places that you wouldn't normally because you have paid for the ticket. Fast track is great because of my disabilities as I wouldn't be able to queue in some of those queues. The hop on hop off is great and the boat is great too. I would 100% recommend this Pass. I have got it twice now going to London and it has always saved me money. You can get discount in restaurants and Theatre too it's a great!!!

The London Pass requires a lot of preparation, but is definitely worth it if you use it carefully. We have experience with similar passes in Paris, Vienna, Naples and Florence. Since some sights in London are not included in the pass and other main attractions are free (which is commendable), time-consuming planning is essential. In addition, there are advance bookings. So there's a lot of work to be done. This is probably a trend that awaits us in all hotspots in the future, simply to channel the crowds. The cancellations for the UBER boat and the hop-on hop-off were unclear. In the end we were put through, but we had paid.

This is first time in London. I don’t have any clue London and nothing to plan. That’s why i bought this one. Just like me, recommend Before that, some important things i’d like sharing. 1. Hop on and off bus is only available day time. (Night tour must be pay 9 £ more) 2. “London eye” waiting at least 30 to 50mins. 3. Bring the umbrella when u using bus tour. (2nd level is too hottie or rainy) 4. Collecting ticket booth open at 10am. When u arriving at 10:20? around, also waiting at least 20 to 30mins. Amazing thing is arriving at 11:30am, you don’t have to wait. 5. When u lost ticket, DO NOT PANIC 🤯 Just call to customer service, they helps u. (In my case, let me know how to get again. Back to ticket booth and they helped me.) 6. I only tried 3 attractions 1day. (Big Bus tour-> recommend by staff / London Eye / London Dungeon) -> check my photo walking activity This means London is literally mega city 7. Enjoy and just trying small ticket. (Plz don’t trust ur condition) 8. This pass sometimes too much require extra fee. Only you can enjoy standard. Also check the other’s review and make a good decision.

Although I spent a long time living in London, this is the first time I bought this particular ticket. Thus time I came as a tourist with my wife. Bus and train to London, including all 6 zones of the underground and bus lines included. Probably the best value for money if you like to get about easily.

Best investment if you have a few days in London but fixed locations to explore. A London pass for 7 attractions is a good investment.

This pass is well worth it IF you do your research. We used it for Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Uber Boat, Royal Observatory, Westminster Abbey, Royal Mews, and Kensington Palace. We could have done more if we had the time! I did have some difficulty with securing the Kensington Palace booking but it was resolved with live chat.

It's not worth it at all. You have to plan all the visits to be able to pay for it well. I had a problem with a reservation confirmation for an attraction and customer service asked me for a ton of information over the phone to not help me at all and we were left without making the visit. There are places that can only be visited by booking a guided tour. The buses end at 6 p.m. I update the review with one more star, they have refunded me £35 for sending them this opinion, which does not compensate for the damage caused

Great scheme if you are prepared to do some planning for your London sightseeing. We got passes for 10 days and had no problem whatsover. Could even skip some queues. App is very useful and contains all relevant information. I recommend this if you are in London for more than 2-3 days and can group specific sights and means of transport (bike tour, hop on bus, boat cruise etc.) for respective days. We saved a lot of money. We also bought oyster cards for public transport with London Pass. This I would not do again as they charged the same for kids as for adults and I only learnt at the end that I paid far too much for kids on tube.

23.-27.8.23: London with London Pass: We think that the London Pass was a very usefull tool to our first visit and basic to follow-ups, however, sometimes a little bit stressy... exhausted but happy! And we saved a lot of money too! Some special remarks (among others) in short: Excellent and recommendable: 30 plus (Cleo!), Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Globe Theatre, St. Pauls; problems but still recomendable (maybe exceptional): hop-on-hop-off-bus (waiting periods over half an hour!), London-Zoo (we had a nice and long walk through Regents Park) ok but not worth the money/time...

The London Pass was recommended to us by a friend. We found it to be a great value, because we were able to use it for several attractions during our 10-day visit. Would definitely recommend it for others, but also do your own research and planning to figure out how to maximize the pass.

We bought 4 London Passes for 4 days. We arrived in London on March 23, 2024. On Monday the 25th we went to use it for the first time, and therefore activate it. What was our surprise when, when opening the Go City application, our passes appear EXPIRED. To make matters worse, in the history of the passes it appears that on March 20 (I remember that we arrived in London on the 23rd, I have the boarding passes to prove it), our passes were activated to take the tour of 30 monuments with Top Sightseeing. How is this possible? So of course, our passes expired after 4 days and we couldn't use them even once. We tried to go to the physical office, but it turns out that it has been removed. We tried to talk to them on the phone, but to no avail. I filled out a form through the website requesting a refund, but nothing at all either. In short, we lost €670 and we couldn't see anything we expected with the London Pass... We bought 4 London Passes for 4 days. We arrived in London on March 23, 2024. We were hesitant to buy the pass but decided to do it anyway. We bought the 4 day pass and it saved us so much money. You need to be very organised to maximise the pass but we did so much. Tickets to St Paul’s Cathedral were sold out but because we had the pass we got in. We also discovered that you got a free meal at Hard Rock London which was Amazing. We saved closed to 200 pounds 👍

Pass has 114 books purchased for two days. It allowed us to see Westminster Abbey, use the Bigbus and the Uberboat, see St Paul's Cathedral, Kensington Palace, the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. Saving about 130 pounds.

  • 3/5 Karen S. 9 months ago on Google • 13 reviews
The pass itself was good value, and we had access to Westminster Abbey even after all tickets for the day had been sold, which to me was well worth buying the pass. We did also get to watch a new film in Mayfair on the card too. To get your money's worth you do need to be organised and cram a lot in. Reason for the low score, customer service is rubbish. I was trying to buy a pass with an oyster card. Adding the card took the cost to £0.00, so couldn't process a payment. I contacted 3 times and never received a reply. We ended up buying the oyster card separately.

Extremely disappointed by this "fake good idea". We took a pass for 2 days and we only did 3 activities, faced with different events, the Hop off Hop on bus made us lose an hour, on a diverted route. We did the rest of the stay on foot. Reserving the Shard is impossible online and the other activities are not more interesting to book in advance. In short, I strongly advise against this pass for a first visit to London. Transportation is easy (but expensive) and we make many great discoveries on foot...

DON'T BUY IT. The attractions have limited capacity for people who can enter with the pass. Maybe they go to an attraction 4 hours before it closes but they don't let them in and tell them to come back the next day. I spend several times with several different places. Buy tickets for each activity you want to do individually

I booked the walking tour in the morning, only good part was I recieved confirmation in about 30mins for the same day. As i got to the venue, i tried to call the number posted.. it went to voice mail continuously & there i lost my money. Its been 2 days now & still it goes to voice mail. I used the pass the following day and visited Arsenal + Chelsea stadium was great. I suppose the pass is only good for walk in venues.

We picked up our tickets and straight away went on the hoping-hop off bus. We were not warned about the protests and road closures before we got on. The bus ended up stuck in grid-lock and going around in circles- by the time we went past Victoria station for the third time and were told that we would be heading to Marble Arch and Euston Road we got off and took the tube instead. The next day we went on the London Eye- the info tells you that there is no need to book and you get on straight away- not that you have to get your tickets first and line up with everyone else. Hopefully our third attraction will go better but I’m not holding my breath.

Because of this sweet deal we were able to save a lot of money by using the 5 attraction pass. We have used several passes like these for other cities and they seem to be one of the best ways to see the sights for a fraction of the cost.

Prior to purchasing the Pass, strongly suggest researching the days and times that the offered attractions are available to visit for the time that you are in London. We purchased a two-day pass six months prior to our trip to London and when finalizing our plans discovered a number of the attractions were not opened on the Monday and Tuesday that we were going to use the pass. One attraction, Churchill War Rooms, was advertised as being included with the pass when we bought it but was no longer on the attraction list when we were in London. Another site, Tower Bridge, suddenly closed for the day that we planned to visit. the one plus was that the pass did make it easy to get into the main attractions without having to be locked into a specific time slot. Think twice about using the Hop On Hop Off Bus; the audio tour is quite poor and, with the London traffic, it is extremely slow going.

I used the London Pass last weekend and honestly I was very disappointed. we wanted to visit the Shard Tower, this is why we took this pass which included this visit, after checking availability on the Shard Tower website I am reassured and I therefore choose to buy this pass However, on the London Pass application we could no longer book. when I went to the Shard Tower I understood better why: they told me that they had 300 places per day reserved at the Shard for the London Pass, so even if they had plenty of places left that day we didn't We weren't able to access it (unless we wanted to pay €100 again) In short, there's no point in taking the pass if you want a specific monument... the Shard Tower even advised me to get a refund - wasted effort! the queues are the same, no financial advantage for us.. and in addition certain monuments like Westminster close at 3 p.m. so unless you start early in the morning at least for London the pass is not advantageous.. very disappointed! I won't be taken back again

Generally, its not too bad. Our experience went fairly smoothly, however it involves more pre-planning to work in the logistics for the various events (particularly when specific time bookings were involved.) One of the events (the Shard) was cancelled due to maintenance work, so that was a disappointment, but we inserted the Globe Theatre instead, and it was great. Most attractions allowed us to scan our QR codes, but not all of them, so in a few instances we had to go to the ticket counters and show our passes in order to get the tickets. The only other thing I would add, is that the one deficiency with the app is that you cannot see the remaining balance of credits. Fortunately, we didn’t run over,

I used the London Pass on two recent trips to London and found it to be quite helpful, especially as we could avoid most lines to purchase tickets. Careful planning of our itinerary allowed us to visit free museums on our non-Pass days and save the Pass days for venues which had admission fees. I would recommend its use and would use it again myself on future visits.

  • 5/5 Grant Z. 9 months ago on Google • 1 review
We purchased a 3-day pass and enjoyed it. It not only covered entrance fees for many top notched attractions, but also saved us for long lines of ticket buying. It actually motivated us to do more to save more. It's a great buy.
