One of the restaurants located on floor 32 of the Shard building, has amazing views and a restaurant, but being honest, the overall experience could not be what you expect. We went for lunch, and they had empty tables near the windows, and they gave us a table on the third layer. Then, plates came late, and one plate came twice. Drinks came after the starter, and starters were more like one tapa rather than a starter. The main dishes were good and tasty. One waiter had a rude attitude towards us for no reason. The final bill was high because drinks, bread, sides, and service charges were not included in the menu price. Finally, they almost gave us a gift voucher from another table by mistake… I would expect to pay the amount we paid for a better experience than the one we had. London views are the best!

We had a three course lunch booked via Truly Experiences. It was absolutely incredible, the food was delicious and really well balanced. I would recommend wearing something smart, something like a shirt for the guys with smart jeans or trousers and shoes is the expectation. We would definitely visit again. Staff were friendly and helpful and the cocktails were fantastic. You will have to go through security at the front door and then you enter the lift and it shoots from the ground floor to the 32nd in a matter of seconds. The views really are stunning and it's a really relaxing atmosphere. All tables have a view out of the window and are suitably positioned so that the meal still feels private and intimate. We had a great time and will be coming back in the summer.

We did the Peter Pan Themed Afternoon Tea for 3 people. While the service is really impeccable (I think I will sound like a broken record because this has been highlighted by other reviewers) the food is a little underwhelming. I mean it is good and tasty, it just doesn’t feel like it is comparable to the value, however, I think with the restaurant’s venue, we are paying more on the view (which is very good) rather than the actual food itself. It will be such a memorable experience though if the triad is completed - amazing and spectacular food, stunning view and impeccable service, in this case only the latter 2 were present. Thank you very much to our server, he was the nicest.

We had the best tea time experience at this restaurant. Our server, Alisha went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. We arrived a little early, but the waiting area was very comfy and we got to enjoy the spectacular view. Once seated, our Peter Pan tea experience began. There were cute little touches, they were very accommodating with our dietary restrictions and we got to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. I’m always hesitant about trying places i see on social media because sometimes the quality of service doesn’t match the views. However, everything about aqua shard was nothing short of perfect. Thank you for a memorable time!

We visited Aqua Shard to just enjoy a special weekend and were not disappointed. From the welcome at reception through to table servive and food quality was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were extremely attentive but not overpowering. Perfect. Of course, the views were spectacular. Recommended for a very special treat.

The view was amazing and the food presentation was great. That was all good about Aqua! We saw our server just a few times and she never showed up to ask if we need anything else. We had to find someone to get our check and waited more than half an hour to pay. The food is very expensive considering the quality and portion. Definitely do not recommend for dinner.

I had a beautiful surprise when my family took me for a three course meal at Aqua Shard. The view was breathtaking, and the service was amiable. Special compliment to our gracious waiter, Francesco, who was very supportive throughout our experience. Each course was tasty. The pairing of wines with each course was spot on, and the cocktails had us buzzing. I highly recommend this place not only for a special occasion but also for a treat to yourself. Even the bathroom was worth visiting. Top class service from start to finish. I will definitely go back soon with friends 🥰

Went for a brunch, The setting were nice with good views - if you book the 11 am you get a table next to the windows. Cutlery/ tea pots can do with an upgrade. Good service but understaffed. Starters were good, we went for the vegetarian option- not impressed -pub breakfast better quality. Will I go back? - As it stands definitely not.

It’s a perfect place to take your love ones for a special occasion and regret it afterwards. We went there last night for my birthday dinner. We had already order the tasting menu when we made the reservation, but when we arrived they told us we can not do tasting menu as the order didn’t go through in their system. After 15 minutes of them “checking,” they said it wasn’t a problem. We did the wine pairing also. The portion of the food was very very small. And the quality is below average. My ravioli was way under cooked and it was super tough. We had to wait about 20 minutes between each courses. The wine pairing arrived very very late as the server was told us the bar was very busy. So we didn’t really get the wine pairing experience. The view was incredible though. However, for a dinner that cost more than £250, I expect much more.

Food was good and very well presented. View was amazing and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Service was excellent. I really thoroughly enjoyed the waffle to start - my main course had raisins in which wasn't very nice. Pudding was lovely A really great birthday treat, if pricey!

Had a great experience at Aqua Shard! Gorgeous restaurant with stunning views. We went for afternoon tea, which is 52 per person. The afternoon tea immerses you in the world of Peter Pan and Neverland. The adventure tea was a mango flavored tea, and one of my favorite teas so far on our London vacation. The food was great, with the scones and accompanying jams being a highlight! Our waitress, Annabelle, was very sweet and personable. While still serving at a fine dining level, she spoke with us like old friends and made us feel right at home. Our bill came and went at a timely manner, but we did not feel rushed to leave and got to leisurely drink our tea. Very fun atmosphere!!

I'd recommend the Experience menu for anyone planning on going to Aqua Shard, especially if it's a celebration 🎊 Guaranteed table by the window and amazing menu! Everything we tried from the menu was delicious, but I'm still thinking about the Dry Aged Beef Fillet, can't recommend it enough 🤤 Alex -our waiter- was very funny and helpful! We appreciated his recommendations as much as his humour 😊 I hope he gets to read this so he knows his work was greatly appreciated and further enhanced our experience 😊 Will definitely be back again!

We received exceptional customer service from Jorge, who was notably attentive each time we finished a dish. The service felt somewhat hurried, but aside from that, it was commendable. The view was stunning, and the food exceeded our expectations in both quality and portion size; it was delicious and more generous than anticipated.

We loved our visit to the Aqua Shard, the service was top notch, the food was definitely great, just not extraordinary. It was a bit pricey but we expected so no problem at all. The view is just absolutely breathtaking!! Even though my birthday was on the next day, they gave me a little birthday dessert which was super nice!

Me and and my Husband had a wonderful dinner here as part of our honeymoon last week. Because of the occasion we opted for the Experience Menu which guarantees a window side table and comes with a 3 course meal and a glass of champagne - it certainly was an experience and it was an absolute heavenly evening! Our reservation was for 8pm, so it was perfect for night time view over London, they keep the restaurant lighting low accordingly so you have an unobstructed view (and there are lamps at the table if you need a bit more light to read your menu). An interesting feature included mirror dividers between window tables which added wonderful sky reflections that complimented the polished floors, and gave a more intimate dining experience for your table. The staff were excellent - we were pleasantly greeted on arrival by the front desk and brought to our table where we were immediately met by our fantastic waiter Alex who was so adept at service it felt like we had our own private server. He was excellent at making both food and wine recommendations, and we were impressed at how adeptly he navigated professionalism and well timed humour. Finally the food - we were not sure what to expect as we were unsure whether the price of the plate is really for the food or the view. It's most definitely both - the food was excellent. We both had the smoked ham hock & chicken terrine to begin, followed by the seabass with Cornish crab (which might have done with a tad extra seasoning), and the venison, which my husband and I adored. Dessert we had the chocolate trio - a divine triad with white, milk, and dark chocolate where each piece was somewhere between a mousse and chocolate truffle in texture, without being overly rich; and the selection of sorbets, which came in fig, pear, and elderflower flavour. The elderflower was bursting with flavour and almost juicy in texture.. my definite favourite of the three flavours. As a lovely touch they also sent us a congratulatory chocolate tart for our engagement. Would very much recommend the experience for a luxurious evening with an indulgent feel; for anyone visiting London that wants to see a show stopping cityscape; and for anyone that enjoys an evening of good atmosphere with excellent service :)

My sister is a big fan of Aqua group. Wherever she goes, she needs to go the Aqua restaurant. We always go Aqua Shard every time she comes to visit me in London. The food and quality is always stable. The service is always excellent, especially the waitress who served, she was lovely and sweet. Always recommend Aqua shad, the view the food the service are always outstanding. If you have to take your friend who is tourist, it will be the best choice.

First time dining at the shard. It was just stunning..the views of London at night was breathtaking. The service was fantastic. The atmosphere was really nice and the food was simply delicious. Obviously it's a bit pricey but for the experience it's a must. To add to my experience I proposed to my girlfriend who said yes so all in all simply magical!!!

I loved everything. The view was splendid Our waiter was pleasant and fun Water was on the house, I had still, my husband had sparkling. The food was tasty, we had the whole 3 course. They were tiny though, I could fit the food on my palm😂. The drinks were also great, we had to go for seconds. We were given complimentary birthday dessert for my husband. Will definitely go again.

I came here for weekend brunch to celebrate my birthday. The view and restaurant vibe were fantastic. The food wasn’t worth the price. I ordered medium steak, the first one came very well done. After asking the staff to bring the new one, the second steak also come somewhat medium well. By the way, the starter dishes were all nice. The desserts weren’t bad.

Magical experience. The service from the time you arrive to the building till you are seated on your table is amazing. The food is beyond delicious. Wherever you sit you can enjoy the breathtaking view, but of course the best will be at the window, we weren’t lucky enough to get one. Only thing I didn’t like was the music, for the magical night and atmosphere the music should be more romantic or sophisticated. The prices are reasonable for the quality of drinks and food. The experience was amazing to be repeated.

Brilliant experience, food and service from start to finish at the Aqua Shard. We were given a table with a brilliant view next to the window and the water even overheard that it was my birthday and surprised us with a birthday dessert. Would heavily recommend for Birthdays or special events - look up when the Sunset is due for the evening and time it accordingly, it will be worth it

A famous restaurant in the heart of London with spectacular views. The ambience is exclusive, posh, vibrant. Very modern and pleasing decor. The menu is small and features only high quality items. Four stars instead of five for the following reasons: • Menu prices for some of the items seem very high compared to other restaurants of similar calibre - I think the beef fillet is worth it though. • you will meet a plethora of restaurant staff during your visit but to be honest it's not clear what their roles are and despite the number of staff seeming high they were struggling a bit to attend to us - potentially seating too many customers at once. I've received more care and attention at restaurants in lower price classes than this one and I think the exclusivity suffers a bit here.

Had such a great fine dining experience here. I went for dinner with my colleagues on a Thursday evening. We were able to watch the sunset, the views were incredible. Service was truly excellent from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Our waiter, Joe, was fantastic and made great recommendations throughout, despite us asking too many questions. Every item we tasted was presented beautifully and tasted exquisite. A heads up, this is fine dining so if you're looking for cheap and huge portions, this is not for you. But if you're looking for quality it's perfect.

We can warmly recommend the Aqua Shard. We made the reservation online without any problems. As we arrived we were picked up and escorted to the table. The interior is very modern, neat and also offers an awesome view of the London skyline. The staff is attentive, helpful and always professional. The Food is very fine and should be enjoyed. All in all it has a high standard and we felt very comfortable. We recommend the breakfast on site and look forward to visit the aqua shard asap again!

After getting a walk in seat which is possible and emptying my pockets and walking through a metal detector airport style, I finally made it to up to the heights of Aqua Shard Seated away from a window to begin with before moving to an amazing view by the window overlooking the Thames. The staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. The drinks were very good and there is an option of Asian food if you are feeling hungry. What can beat a bar that has a urinal overlooking the sights of London? Not much really…

We attended The Shard for my sons Birthday. We previously had dinner there and enjoyed it. This time we had the festive brunch 3 courses for £65pp. The pancakes were far from fluffy. They were tough, hard to cut and cold. Clearly just a catering pack and not freshly made. The English breakfast was again cold. We had a small hairy grain in one of the meals which your staff promptly removed and returned a fresh breakfast which was still cold. The eggs were soft runny but cold. The hash brown, beans and the few squares of black pudding were uninspiring. The dessert of cheesecake and granola was fine and Christmas pudding and whiskey custard was nice. They kindly gave my son Birthday chocolates was was very much appreciated. The bill was reduced by £5 the bill came to £207 before the service charge of £30 which we declined and left £20 cash instead. My son enjoyed the visit but we didn’t feel we got our monies worth. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The restaurant was warm and clean, busy but pleasant. Tea, coffee and coke were fine. we were disappointed there were only tables of two by the windows so we had a set back view. It was nice being at The Shard but the food was disappointing. Lovely Christmas tree. Maybe tempted back for the The Peter Pan afternoon tea which looked nice and well presented

Incredible views and the most magical Peter Pan themed afternoon tea! Their website only lets you book tea for 2, however, I was solo traveling and after reaching out to them, they were able to accommodate tea for 1 on a Monday afternoon. They do not guarantee tables by the window, but I lucked out and there happened to be one available when I arrived. I also lucked out with a clear sunny day at the end of October so got to enjoy the lovely view of the Thames, Tower of London, and Tower Bridge. A word of warning, the tables for 2 by the window are very short and uncomfortable to sit at because your knees don't fit under the table, so you have to sit with your legs over to one side. I assume this is the case so that you don't linger too long at the table. They have 2 themed black teas, Adventure and Darling. I was able to try both and preferred the Adventure tea. I also ordered the fairy dust drink, which I thought was just ok and not worth the cost. You're started off with the savory items, which I thought were unique and well tied to the theme, especially the mushroom chimney and the lost boys campfire BBQ chicken sandwich wrapped in a paper with the lost boy rules on it. The real star of the show is the pirate ship they bring out with the scones and sweets. I loved the scones and Peters never tree entrance, but truly enjoyed all the savory and sweet items. The whole experience was very filling and I had to take home a box with most of the sweets. Highly recommend!

I had a lovely dinner at the Aqua Shard. We booked the experience menu with view siting and the food was delicious at first while the desserts and side were not great. We had to wait a long time to be seated and for the food but they kindly removed the charges for 1 cocktail and the coffees which is very appreciated. Unfortunately they didn’t remember that was a birthday celebration so I removed 1 star from the service but our waiter was exceptional! Really recommend to go at least once!

Beautiful evening with my parents and my best friend. It was a special occasion for us, to be together, and we had an amazing time. The view from the restaurant is by far one of the best in all London (I've been everywhere around) and the food was amazing as well. I really hope to come back soon to this place!

Had a absolutely beautiful lunch for my mums birthday. From start to finish everything was perfect food was amazing, the staff where lovely and they even moved us to a window seat when it became available which was lovely. Only thing which got my was the price of a cocktail £20 😅 apart from that it was a perfect afternoon thank you.

We often forget what amazing treasures we have on our doorstep; our visit was simply a date day and a chance to enjoy our wonderful capital together and all its sights. The food was divine and enough and so beautifully presented. My only criticism is the butter was too hard and couldn't be spread on our sourdough rolls (despite the rolls being warm too!) The ambience was relaxed and calming with just the right amount of attention from the staff. The views of the London skyline fom the window table simply enhanced the experience. It was a wonderful way to spend a few hours before moving on to explore all that London has to offer. We were not rushed and there was the perfect amount of time between courses to rest and be ready for the next. Very tempted to go back for the evening as our brunch was so delicious. Thank you all for such a lovely experience.

Where do I start. Lovely restaurant, great hospitality and I would like to particularly mention Alessia, she attended to my needs all through the night (she deserves promotion and a pay rise). The food was nice and the drinks were exceptional. Clean environment with clean restroom. Lovely view overlooking the financial capital of the world. Great experience. Will definitely be visiting again

Really great evening at Aqua Shard, the food was amazing and the service was great. Anniversary plate was a really nice touch and given to us with genuine congratulations which was really sweet. For a special occasion I would really recommend, doesn’t matter if you do not end up by the window with the lights low it is still really intimate and special.

Lovely dinner and drinks. Many interesting dishes, executed to perfection! The gorgeous views of London elevate the experience! I only reserve one star because I could see dust in the air where the light hit. Note: I would like to appreciate the reception for allowing me to cancel at a short notice in my most recent reservation after we got diagnosed with Covid. You didn’t have to do that but I appreciate how understanding you were and will definitely be coming back!

Super pricey, but a great experience and definitely worth it for a visitor to the London. We had the Peter Pan afternoon tea and it was really fun. There were a variety of savory items followed by sweets. The best touch was smoke coming out of the boat all the treats were served in.

Magnificent. The whole experience was fantastic. It was my wife's birthday, and the staff was friendly to us, with complimentary drinks and dessert. The view is absolutely amazing. Pricey? Yes, but you deserve to do that one in a while. Huge kudos to Camila, the hostess, Lucas, a very thoughtful waiter, and Roberto, from Sicily, a very kind one.

My best friend and I visited aqua shard for the peter pan afternoon tea. Our waitress was a delight and the London views were certainly a bonus. We had a table right by the window so we very happy with that and it gave us a little more privacy for a lovely chat. The food itself was very average, though very cleverly put together. They cater for vegetarians and possibly vegans. It got really busy but it was definitely an enjoyable few hours.

My first visit to the Shard was a wonderful and memorable experience. Great atmosphere, welcoming staff, delicious food, and stunning views of London. I loved the menus for both food and drink. Service was fast, efficient, friendly, and professional. Portions are on the small side (the only reason I can't give 5 stars for the food subcategory on this review), but everything else was flawless. My friend and I stayed for nearly two hours and had a great time. We would definitely return some time.

Nice and posh restaurant on the 31st floor of the Shard. The views are amazing. The staff were super nice and added to the wow factor. Oh and the food was great too! I had the lamb dish (pictured), it looked like the lamb was still alive but it tasted fantastic! Highly recommend this place for those super-special occasions. Did I mention that the staff were amazing!? 😅

Can probably say one of the best dinning experiences I have had in a very long time. The wait and Matridee on that night we absolutely amazing. Care and attend was brilliant. The view I highly recommend for watching the sunset over London. Food was well thought out and just superbly cooked for my tastes and yeah nothing there I didn't like It's a bit pricey but in my opinion worth the money because where else can you say,you are sitting 32 floors up having champagne and watching the sunset over beautiful London. Definitely will be back in due course

Private room was booked for team Christmas do and the view was amazing! Food was good but expected a bit more just because it was at the Shard. The service was really excellent- couldn't fault it one bit. They were very accommodating as I was pregnant and offered extra cushions and allowed me to change bits of the menu to work for me. The space outside the private room had a lovely vibe and the bar looked incredible. Lots of instagrammable spots around! Would definitely come back again. Had a great time!

We really enjoyed The Peter Pan Afternoon Tea. I was not too keen on the sandwiches, but I am a fussy eater! The scones & deserts were very delicious & so was the tea. The presentation was fabulous. We were surprised there was no nice hand cream in the ladies toilets & one of the doors was difficult to open. There was also a long queue as only 2 cubicles. Overall a lovely experience

Fantastic place, unique atmosphere with an amazing view… . It was really a pity that 2 glasses of rose champagne, pre booked on line, they didn’t come at the bar for the welcome… . We had a fantastic dinner with an excellent service at our dinner table. Thank you so much

The winning point here is the location and atmosphere. On the 31st floor you have a great view of london. The setting is quite dark and intimate - with the best seats in the house usually reserved for smaller tables. Bigger groups tend to be placed farther away from the window. Food wise - it's decent. I'm judging this based on the price. You are clearly paying a premium for the location (as opposed to the food). I felt that the portions were decent, but in general i would have appreciated some more complex plates or perhaps some hard to find offering that could further justify the high prices. The wine list was also decent, but very high markups. Service was great, staff very helpful, kind and knew their stuff. Of course atmosphere was excellent as well. Overall fun night, a hit to the wallet, but the views and atmosphere compensated.

We did the festive brunch to celebrate a birthday. We thought it was an amazing location with incredible service. The let down was the vegetarian options left a lot to be desired and didn't match what the meat options were worth (larger portions etc). So we paid big prices for something that could've been made for under £5. Apart from that, we had a fabulous time and was a wonderful treat.

I clearly had a great experience here. The food was outstanding, the proposal was even better. We went on our first date here nearly 2 years ago, so my bf proposed here on 30th Dec 2023. All the waiting staff were in on it.Delivery was flawless. Thank you for an unforgettable experience ❤️

Went for the Peter Pan afternoon tea with high expectations. We had to go through a metal detector, took elevator up to the restaurant. We were told hats were against the dress code ( my husband was wearing a tartan cap) mind you we saw people walking around in sweats and hoodies. We were seated at a window with a view (big plus) The waitress was very polite, extremely soft spoken took our order…..we waited….and waited …and waited. Finally the savory course arrived, the theme was cute, food definitely mediocre, nothing to ooh and aah over. After another very L-O-N-G wait we finally recieved the sweets. The pirate ship with the dry ice fog was absolutely genius. The sweets were quite good. We ordered another pot of tea, which never arrived. We finally caught the attention of another server and requested our bill….. £242 for a party of 3 (no alcohol) The coat checker had disappeared, when they finally found her she had a hard time finding our coats and bag. In conclusion, the theme was brilliant but it lacked on many levels, it could be an amazing memorable experience if the food and service could be improved. I

This is an absolutely fabulous experience. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the views... wow (we were very lucky with the weather)! We opted for the pairing menu and the wines were all good (much better value than buying wine by the bottle) - a decent amount of each, which was a relief as the glass sizes weren't shown on the menu. We were lucky to get quite close to the window (if there are only 2 of you you stand more chance of getting a window table). Highly recommend.

We were shown to a table at the window, with amazing views. We had bread &olives while we looked at the menu. I ordered the octopus to start , which was the best I’ve ever eaten. A good size portion and beautiful presentation. Then had the venison, which was perfectly cooked. My partner had beef, and we shared the sides of mash and cauliflower cheese. All good size portions, great presentation and tasted delicious. Then I had the “shard” dessert. Throughout the meal the waiter poured our wine. The service was excellent, and we were not at all rushed. I will definitely recommend and be returning. The only negative was they add 15% service to the bill. I think it should be left to the customer to decide.

We had a great window table for two, with terrific panoramic view of the city. A real treat! The vegetarian ravioli was lovely, as was the cod with mussels. Loved the lemon tart dessert too. The surprise Happy Birthday chocolate treat was a nice touch.

I surprised my friend and booked the weekend brunch with wine paring. I read the reviews and wasn’t expecting too much from the food as it was suggested that you’re paying for the views, but the food was absolutely delicious! Our experience was amazing from start to finish. Our waiter Antonio was so friendly and knowledgeable - he was very patient and helped us chose our dishes and wines. He also arranged for a lovely table in the bar area after. We came for brunch and stayed for most of the evening. All the staff were very attentive, I’m going to book again and bring my husband later this month.
