The burners outside announce our arrival at this liner shape busy bar. Noisy and vibrant bar and tables contribute to a lively atmosphere with people from all walks of life. The octopus was the most generous portion we had ever eaten. The cod fillet was cooked to translucent perfection again this was a mega portion.

Third visit to this wonderful , London restaurant I thought I had done a review 😬 so better late than never. Service at Scott’s is superb as is the setting and atmosphere. Quality of the food on offer is always superb and if you are sensible with your alcohol it doesn’t have to be mega expensive. We love coming to Scott’s and can’t wait to return for a fourth time. Well worth pushing the boat out. Yolo

The atmosphere at Scott's is always warm and cozy, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The staff always friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. The menu offers a variety of options, and I must say, each dish was a treat. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were well-balanced. The presentation of the food was also impressive, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. Scott's Restaurant on Mount Street offers a charming and satisfying dining experience. In addition. it has one of the best cozy winter terrace in London ;)

The service is excellent, staff are very nice and gave us great suggestions of oyster & wines. The food is fresh and good, highly recommended for the oyster & octopus, the scallops are well cooked as well. The only dish i felt disappointed was the fish, the sauce was not that good. Would recommend to go for a try if you love seafood

Always fantastic service and even better food... Myself and my partner have never had a bad meal here. We eat here every time we are in London, my partner on a weekly basis almost. The best place for fish in London in our opinion, the front of house staff are so accommodating and the venue is beautiful.

I don’t even know where to start. I left this place feeling so disappointed, as I had quite high expectations beforehand. Service: At such an expensive restaurant, you would expect to be served by a single waiter throughout your dining experience, offering a personalized touch and showing that they care. Instead, we had multiple waiters, which could have been acceptable, but their lack of knowledge about the menu was shocking. Additionally, we waited a long time for our plates to be cleared and for someone to take our order. When we inquired about the creamiest type of oysters on the menu, they initially suggested one kind, then went to the kitchen "to confirm," only to recommend the most expensive ones. I would have been fine with this if they were indeed good and creamy (spoiler: they weren’t). Food: We were given “complimentary” bread with butter at the beginning, only to find out later that it was charged. The sashimi, which looked appealing in pictures, was the worst I’ve eaten. The cuts were uneven, the pieces were tiny, and a few slices of yellowtail looked more like carpaccio than sashimi. The most disappointing aspect was the hard edges, suggesting they had been left out of the fridge for too long. As for the lobster, I ordered a whole grilled lobster, which was not only small but also overcooked, chewy, and excessively garlicky. Although we love garlic, it was just too much. My husband and I are fans of oysters and have tried many, but these were not creamy at all; they were just okay, similar to what you might find at a supermarket. If you’re looking for good oysters in London, I can give you a recommendation. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was nothing special, lacking any romantic ambiance. The carpet was very dirty, and the toilet was overflowing with paper in the bin. Price: We knew it would be expensive, but charging £30 for a 125ml glass of the cheapest Malbec and £17 for a cocktail of probably no more than 30ml was excessive. The glasses seemed intentionally dirty, adding to the disappointment. They charged a 14.5% service fee for what amounted to impersonal service and a complete lack of knowledge about the menu (other customers nearby asked about the type of fish on their plates, and the waiter couldn't answer). The total bill came to more than £400. I’m not opposed to paying for good service and quality food, but this place lacked both. RESOLUTION: After reaching out to the provided email, we promptly received a refund of our gift voucher amounting to £250. The response was quick, and they were genuinely eager to resolve the issue. They assured us of their best efforts to ensure a much better experience next time. I have updated my review to add two more stars solely in appreciation of the gesture extended by the Assistant General Manager of Scott's.

Arrive here to expect high levels of service and quality of food. The outdoor tables are great for people watching with a steady stream of z list Instagram wannabes soaking up the atmosphere and stunning decor. The food is good and expected at this price but the real winner is the extensive and well curated wine lists. Good place to be for that special occasion.

Lovely fish and seafood restaurant! As expected the staff were friendly and helpful. The waiter actually took the lobster out for us to see if we were happy with it! Price is reasonable for Mayfair. Most important it was cooked brilliantly and portion is actually is right amount. Was not easy to book so book early!

I took my Mum here for her birthday in March which was the same day as UK Mother’s Day so it was extremely busy. The service was understandably slower than usual and we hadn’t finished our meal at all at the time they asked us to leave the table, it’s a shame that this wasn’t considered before they even asked but thankfully a member of staff compensated for the oversight and seated us downstairs for the remainder of our meal. We were looked after really well by Leonardo and Matthew. Scott’s is one of my favourite restaurants so this wasn’t my first visit and won’t be last. Lovely visit!

This is the restaurant for our special occasions!! Once you come in Scott’s you jump in another time and atmosphere where you are treated as a queen and a king. Professionalism and attention for details make a big difference and in Scott’s you can find the right balance between the perfection and the good food!! The food is really fresh and super tasty and the chef is really talented. They always have nice options that make you feel to come back for try the other dish. What can I say more, just that everyone needs to do such an amazing experience at least once!! This time a want thank Gianmaria and Domenico that cared about us and our needs. Well done guys and good job to everyone!!

Decor very grand and elegant. Was escorted to beautiful downstairs bar to wait for table. Was there for near enough half an hour past our actual booking time before we were taken to our table. I would prefer to be taken to my table at the time of booking. Oysters, scallops and tempura prawns ordered for starters. Oysters and scallops were exceptional however I feel the tempura batter on the prawns was a bit thick. For main I ordered bannockburn rib steak with half a grilled lobster (I have a very big appetite) with various vegetable sides. Lobster as with the vegetable sides were of a high quality. I know the restaurant is famous for its fish and for some reason I didn’t order a fish main however I highly recommend it because the steak itself was lacklustre. No real flavour and too thick and chewy. Dessert I had apple crumble and custard which was delicious however my partner ordered the chocolate fondant which came out dry. Overall as a one off special occasion the experience was pleasant and it is likely you might have the novelty of bumping into a celebrity or too (we sat a few tables away from Sergio Aguero) however for the money (£603 for 3 people) you can get better elsewhere.

I enjoyed my evening so much . The staff were amazing. They gave a lot of information in regards to the menu and wines. The food was wonderful, I had the slip soles and the pan fried Ray Wing with the highly rated XO sauce . My partner had the lobster thermidor and claimed it was lovely. For dessert I would recommend the apple pie. I wish the decor was a bit more modern but all in all I loved it and will be back

The service here was great. I got in right before lunch time and they were able to accommodate me at the bar which is perfect for dining alone or as a couple. The bartender was always attentive and gave me great food and wine recommendations which paired perfectly. The bisque delicious and warm, which was perfect for the cold weather. I had the special of the day which was cod and it was fresh, with crisp skin and a delicious sauce that complemented the whole dish.

Food is good but it bot all ingredients was prepared correctly. I have samphire on my halibut dish and it wasn't cleaned before cooking. I left everything on site because was not eatable, wooden parts of samphire was still on it ,waiter didn't even ask me if this was OK or its something wrong when you see food on side. Service is just ok. They was more busy with each other than customers. Overall place is overpriced and service you are experiencing it's not worth it .

Food: Tempura prawns were very tasty and was the best dish. The mixed oysters with sausages also splendid. Spicy salmon tartare was a bit tasteless and didn’t have much flavour. Dessert: Paris- Brest was super average with me having to pour as much chocolate sauce as I could because again, extremely average and bland. I have had better dessert elsewhere. Ambience- It was quite frustrating having my chair knocked every couple of minutes because staff kept hovering around to pick up orders to serve. As you can imagine, it has a weird set up in that the waiters pick up the food in the centre of the restaurant and are told which table to take the food to, so you’ve got lots of waiters hovering behind you ( behind my seat) waiting to pick up orders. The actual staff who are at front desk to assign table were nice. Same with our waiter who kindly moved us when I told him my chair was knocked and he was attentive. Staff cloak room- When I advised her I lost my card, she didn’t seem to bother helping me find it and just explained to ask the restaurant staff but they had already asked me to ask her so no one was actually helpful really until I spoke to someone else. I would say, pretty average and bland for what you are paying for and of course, you’re paying for the name. I would not return personally. Service was good and I didn’t feel rushed out, which made a change but when taking into account my experience as a whole- I would not return at all.

Went there for fiances birthday, we had the seafood platter for two as well as the octopus carpaccio and wow! Food was wonderful, perfectly cooked, and the portion size was amazing! I have allergies and they were fully accommodating for me, and to top it off when we had dessert they had written happy birthday with my fiance's name on the plate for her. Our waiter was amazing, as was Ronan the maitre d' his welcoming presence was amazing!!

Scott's is one those fine London establishments where you feel like you've really made it in life when you're able to dine here and my first experience having lunch here was a very special occasion From the incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive service to the amazing menu filled with a variety of delicious dishes ranging from griddled prawns to a whole lobster, Scotts really knows how to do great food very well. My friend and I both had the Shellfish Cocktail and the Ray Wing in XO sauce followed by tea and Petits-Fours and we both commented on how amazing the food and service were. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience or to take guests that you want to celebrate with and/or impress then you must come here. Highly recommended 10/10 - Definitely coming back soon. Special thanks to the Maitre'D who treated us like royalty and was so accommodating when we needed to change our reservation time by an hour - outstanding customer service.

One of my favourite restaurants in Mayfair, it’s mainly a fish restaurant however they also have a fine selection of steaks. You can eat at the bar area or at a table. The cheese soufflé with grated truffle is amazing, the Lobster Thermidor is out of this world. A stunning restaurant with fantastic service. It’s also a popular celebrity hangout, last time we were in Robert de Niro was sat at the table next to us. Make sure you book in advance.

After reading the reviews I was so excited to try Scott’s Seafood. This excitement wore off rather quickly into the experience. The owner was so extremely rude. Frankly I find it astounding that a man who lacks social grace has any sort of career in hospitality. Of course this was only followed by food poisoning which proceeded all through the night and the following days. I will never go to this restaurant again.

This restaurant is AMAZING!! It is quite pricey, but so, so good. I got the miso salmon and ice cream for dessert. The salmon was fantastic. As a note, everyone was dressed pretty nicely. I was wearing walkers and jeans and felt out of place. The staff was all really nice and no one said anything so it didn’t seem to be an issue. Highly recommend if you want an amazing meal.

Made reservation to try this place out as we were passing London for the day. Nice atmosphere and seats were comfy. We ordered starter means and bottle of champagne with our meal = total £370 or so. All was good apart from the John Dory fish which was way overcooked but we ate it. When the waiter came we said the fish was too overcooked - he didn’t comment and just looked at us as if we shouldn’t be saying that. The lack of acknowledgement to offer something else was something we didn’t expected but we were enjoying ourselves so we didn’t bother that much. Staff were attentive and also around to help. Disappointing we were not offered for our jackets to be hanged when others were offered. There is a clear visible distinction of which dinners gets the care and attention more’ - staff need to see all guest the same and run the service with the same ethos’s. Overall it’s a great location and atmosphere to be in but food did not live to our expectation as we hoped.

Lovely seafood restaurant. Knowledgeable and helpful staff, great atmosphere, amazing quality food. We tried the rock oysters, smoked salmon and eel sashimi, octopus carpaccio, John Dory cheeks and seared cod with padron peppers. All of those dishes were exquisite. For dessert we finished with honeycomb ice cream with chocolate fondue - the perfect finish to a lovely night. The wine list is extensive. Great place for a date, as well as business meal.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Scott’s. If you love seafood, this is a real treat from the salmon tartare to the Dover sole or the Octopus Carpaccio (my favourite). Perfect if you are around Mayfair and service is impeccable.

The king of seafood… Dover sole is my personal favourite alongside the Lobster - both unbeatable. Outside is my preferred seating arrangement although sometimes perhaps you are forgotten about whilst being tucked away between the trees ! Beautiful set up. Based on Mount Street you’re just a few minutes away from the heart of Mayfair, great bars / pubs and well known hotels.

One of my favourite restaurants in London! A place of pure sophistication, old school class and elegance. The food is divine, the ambiance is chic, and the service is top-notch. A must-visit for anyone who wants a taste of luxury in the heart of Mayfair. 💫 The only downside is the lack of vegetarian/vegan options.

Stunning lunch at Scott’s with my husband Scott 😃 to start off my 40th birthday celebrations, we’ve been wanting to visit for some time and my husband surprised me whilst in London for the weekend. Service was really good, classy restaurant and food was delicious we enjoyed the fish of the day to share which was turbot and it was perfect, finished off with a gorgeous happy birthday plate of chocolates. Thank you Scott’s we will be back.

I went for a birthday, the fish and seafood we had was very well cooked, Leo who served us was very helpful especially when helping me find something I could eat without dairy and gluten which was fairly easy. The sommelier was helpful and didn’t just point to the most expensive bottle, picked us a good bottle. I marked it down only because no gluten free bread was available even though there is a cover charge, and the scallops should have had Harissa and garlic, but ended up only with garlic which no one explained why, they were perfectly cooked though .

I always put this restaurant on the list when people ask me where to eat in London. Quite simply, it's a classic. Overall, one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in my life. Firstly, the dishes were exceptional - the lobster was of the best quality, grilled to the perfect tenderness, and the monkfish and prawn curry was just delicious. Our professional yet friendly waiter helped us choose the wine - couldn’t have been happier with that we got. The interior design is very classy but the atmosphere of the place made us feel relaxed and welcomed. And as for Mayfair, value for money is unbeatable. Would love to come back.

London stalwart on the fine dining scene. Have to have sea good. Had the roasted shellfish for two - highly recommended. Paris-Brest for dessert also proved a good choice. Service was attentive but never fussy. Would happily go again. (November 2021)

Nice vibes and great place if you’re into seafood. All the cold items where of great quality and cooked just right. The snails with cod cheeks where amazing however they were ruined by being served with the cold items. The sole moneir was simply the best I ever tasted. Cooked on the bone then expertly filleted and served with a perfect brown butter sauce.

The food was excellent, the service was really bad, the atmosphere was dull, sad. No waiters or waitresses or barman was wearing a Mask, they all look stress and do not want to be there. Expect from the barman who where a delight, tables have not changed. Annoying waiters who comes and collect stuffs on your table without asking you. We left that awful place to go and have our desert and more drinks somewhere welcoming and it was a good choice.

A London seafood landmark. Enjoy lunch on the quaint streets of Mayfair in the sun (if you go at the right time). Cannot go wrong with the classics, lobster, prawns, salmon. However, they lost a star that day because the avocado in the salmon tartare was far from ripe; inedible. A simple check by the chef would have made this apparent, even when pairing. Thankfully after I flagged the tartare was remade with only salmon and the rest of the tartare then went out that lunch service were like such!

My favourite restaurant excellent food and service specially when you set outside table it’s amazing atmosphere. However, today 11/10/2020 I have arrived on time or even a couple minutes earlier and I have requested a table outside in advance and when I have approached the reception the employee she said she would provide me a table that has not got a heater and I have agreed to that. However, As I approached the table I realised that there is an unreserved table that includes a heater so I asked her why I wasn’t provided the table and I was told that the table is requested for someone else however when I reserved my table I was told that I am not guaranteed anything I asked for so in that case why is the person who requested a heater was guaranteed it and when I asked for the heater when booking in advance I was not allowed it therefore, I had to wait 20 min ahead with my family in cold weather of my reservation in order to get a table of a family that finished their lunch because their table had a heater and even after I finished my lunch the table that was unoccupied with a heater that was apprently reserved for someone was unoccupied the whole time. Lastly, I am very disappointed about this service and expected better as I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time and this act should not come from a high class restaurant.

Fabulous meal as always. Well thought out & implemented Covid safety measures, including glass screens & scented sanitiser atomisers on every table. All staff wearing masks (which are also available for guests who may have forgotten to bring one, as they are required when moving around the restaurant).
