This was a great dining experience. The service was outstanding, and the food was very good as well. It has a very upscale atmosphere, and the servers were very attentive to our table. The two courses were sized very well, so I did not feel overstuffed. We were dining with locals, and they helped us pick something we would enjoy. However, there were several other options that would have been just as good as what we selected.

We had an outstanding meal here. All dishes were delicious. Probably the best fish and chips (fried fillet of haddock) I’ve ever had. The Painter’s Pallet cocktail was also superb. Definitely for special occasions as it is on the pricey side. Would happily return and recommend.

Rather underwhelming to be honest. I had been really looking forward to going and went as a NY treat. The food was good. Not great. Had the £37 wagyu burger, which was quality ingredients, but just ok. The Balloon Girl dessert was real theatre and worth the money. The service was rubbish, though. Had to wait ages for our orders to be taken, even though it was only around 40% full, and never once asked if everything was OK. It was supposed to be dog friendly, so I took the pooch, but not once were we offered a bowl of water or given a treat. Not expected, I know, but usually a given at places a hell of a lot cheaper. I have told several of my friends not to bother.

A very nice experience. A bit of a hard sell on the bubbles which wasn't appreciated in our group, but the rest was very good. I initially deducted a star for the tactic, but giving them the benefit of the doubt, as it could just have been our particular waiter. We have visited the restaurant in Marlow a few times and like the food there. This was no exception. Recommended.

Kerridge's Bar and Grill, located in the heart of London, is a stunning restaurant with a chic and upscale atmosphere. The location is prime, with easy access to popular attractions and transportation. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were immediately struck by the beautiful decor and ambience. The seating is comfortable and the lighting is dim and romantic, making it the perfect spot for a date night or special occasion. However, the prices at Kerridge's are on the higher end, with starters/mains ranging from £20-£65. While the location may justify the cost to some extent, we were surprised to find that even a classic fish and chips dish was priced at £60. Additionally, the service charge at Kerridge's is a hefty 15%, which may deter some diners. Despite this, our server was attentive and professional, making up for the added cost. Overall, while the prices and service charge at Kerridge's may be a deterrent for some, the atmosphere and location make it a worthwhile dining experience if you’re willing to spend around £100 per person

A fantastic place! My wife booked a late Sunday lunch for my birthday. The service was perfect, the food totally delicious and the restaurant surroundings are impressive. Really enjoyed the lobster Scotch egg, whilst the mains were both filling and really enjoyable. The only constructive comment I would mention that both cocktails from their signature menu were way too sweet despite the waiter assuring us that it would not be the case. But the situation was rectified professionally and our afternoon was really enjoyable. Recommended!

You can walk into the restaurant and be in awe of the architecture. The staff is clearly well-trained and experienced in providing prime service. The food is good, but you are paying a premium price for quality. A lot of work has clearly gone into the artistic presentation of the food."

Food very good indeed, big flavours, hearty from the breads all the way through. Too full to even share a pudding! Service especially for water top ups a little less attentive requiring requests everything while wine topped up way too frequently... staff nice though, overall very enjoyable meal. Wine markup on the high side with few choices under £70, sommelier never arrived but selection of trophy wines impressive if that's your thing!

Been to many fancy restaurants in my life but this one is the only one so far I would have walked out if not for the presence of friends. Food was, to say the best, average, nothing stood out; price was towards the higher end, but not to the level that surprise you. Put two together, it was just ok (you could have easily found another restaurant that provides you better money for value for the quality of food in the central). The worst part: service. First: slow and slow, and slow. We sat down and had to wait 25 mins till someone actually came around to ask for drinks (except for water). Attention to details, failed. Drinks over had to be chased twice. Same order being put in again and again. Obviously no communication between the serving staff, so whoever you chase, a new order being put in. I was embarrassed if they weren’t. Second: if you ask tap water, brace yourself for snooty eyes on you. Personally, as principle, don’t mind at all buying alcoholic drinks or soft drinks, but not water. Tap water is fine, and we live in a country that can actually enjoy tap water. When sat down, first thing asked was, still it sparkling, which was fine. When we told we don’t mind tap water, the woman waiter said you had already got a bottle, while was ordered by our friends, so she refused to give us tap and just poured bottle water. I felt weird then, but then didn’t think of it as anything. Then as meal progressed to the end of starter, none came around to pour any water (even bottled). Ok, maybe they are busy. And then I asked another lady (she wore a blue dress with red fringe, not usual waiters) before main for water, she tried to pour bottled water, which I said tap is fine. She looked at me, and said “oh”, put the bottled down, walked off. This sets me off. I complained to waiter if they have any problem serving tap, and then restaurant director came around to deal with the situation. He didn’t help. The tone was condescending to say the least, insisted that they do serve tap, and treat every customer fair (I didn’t ask question why I am not treated fairly though). He then said I shouldn’t feel like what I am telling him. I felt like a kid made nuisance out of nothing substantial. I ended conversation there. Not to say the least, he then had to be chased twice for drinks our friends ordered during our main. Service improved only for 20 mins after I complained. Left for our own devise again until desert order taken. Paid the full bill with 12.5% service charge (for the worst service - but they didn’t see it that way, or rather I should say I shouldn’t feeling that way, so nothing was offered, as expected). 180 pounds for two (excluding drinks): we had sea bass and fish and chips, shared a desert, a starter each, and two sides. You decide whether it’s worth your money.

Absolutely flawless! One of the nicest restaurants I've been too with excellent food and drinks matched with exemplary customer service. Really cannot think of a single thing I would change. If you're looking to push the boat out a bit, this is definitely the place to come!

What an amazing 5 🌟experience, I booked as a surprise for my partners birthday. Everything was superb, the ambiance was just right. From the moment we were greeted and taken to our table, waiting staff were knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Food was so delicious. Every mouthful was rich in flavour, you have to try the pig’s cheek pie, and creamy mash. 😋 Can’t wait to go back. Thank you to the manager for the complimentary drinks. Such a kind gesture.

Lovely restaurant and staff excellent. Food was a little disappointing, potted crab excellent but fish and chips not as good, had really looked forward to the girl with the balloon after watching The Great British menu , looked fantastic but the flavors weren’t as good as the appearance. Music a little too loud but overall a lovely evening

Overall, a very nice place for dining. An unquestionable experience. Despite that hospitality industry has suffered a big impact on these days, the service here was perfect. Attentive and accurate. However, the atmosphere on the day that we visited, was a bit "heavy" I would say. Loud music and dark luminance. Please, this was my impression only. As I said, great place.

Burnt the creme brulee caramelized top. The sauces were too overwhelming in scent and flavor.(not in a good way) But the sourdough toast was outstanding with the creamy butter. Also the Mushroom risotto was by far the best item I had. It was exploding with flavor, and was very balanced.

An incredible experience from start to finish. The food speaks for itself, the service was fantastic and the whole restaurant feels like an art gallery. Thanks in particular to DC who talked us through the art and explained how it inspired the cocktails. It was an honour that head chef Nick Beardshaw took the time to present and explain his incredible ‘A moon shaped pool’ creation. An unforgettable experience and the perfect way to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. Service was amazing, as was every dish we tried. Very generous portions, so much so, sadly we had no room for a desert.

Good food but pricey. Appetizers cute but very small. Literally a bite for each. Great service. We didn’t get a sit in the restaurant but in bar area which wad still comfortable. Beer and sangria were excellent.

Sunday menu food and cocktails good in a nice contemporary setting service a little slow. However don't let that put that off lovely meal.

Really nice restaurant situated in the heart of London. Visited on a Sunday afternoon, so had the Sunday Lunch menu which had lots of varied dishes including items from the Great British Menu 2023. Staff were excellent (special mention to DC) and extremely knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!

Dropped in on the spur of the moment to try the bar. Lovely setting and the service was superb. We enjoyed a peach blossom cocktail and tried one of the beers. Next time it'll be the restaurant.

What an amazing evening. Food, atmosphere, staff, everything from the bread and butter, to the wine pairings, to the food was excellent. I’d seen a couple of the dishes on great British menu and wasn’t sure if it could live up to expectations but it did, and more. A meal to remember. And it was great to meet Nick when he came out to serve his signature dish, “A moon shaped pool”. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful visit!

Our first visit and one to remember. Staff were on point and special shout out to DC. Was told that we had the first order of the wagyu stack; which was a great burger. Dessert was special as we are fans of GBM and we're told Nick was in the kitchen tonight. Thanks for having us. A very special occasion

A thoroughly wonderful experience! Fantastic location, welcoming hotel staff which ensured a swift entrance to the restaurant. Once at our table the staff guided us through the menu answering my many questions! Settling on winning choices every course was cooked to perfection, even my fussy particular way I like steak! For dessert we were treated to the Banksy inspired Balloon Girl, paired with an amazing cocktail! We shall recommend to friends and return!!

Had dinner at the restaurant for my birthday, the food was excellent but may have been surpassed by the service. The staff were attentive without at any point being overwhelming. It’s difficult to pick out a single dish as they were all superb. The birthday note & addition to my dessert were a nice touch.

Beautiful fine dining experience at the Corinthia’s Kerridge’s bar and grill. Nothing was too much trouble and the restaurant had everything to accommodate individual patron’s preferences. Perfect!

How wonderful restaurant it is! 💯 I was perfectly satisfied with all. Interior design is so luxurious, staffs are nice and kind, the best one is beef Wellington. I never forget about this taste. I will be back with my precious people. 💓

I was treated to a voucher to dine at Kerridge’s Bar and Grill and and it has completely reached every expectation that I had. My partner and I chose to dine here for our shared birthday weekend. Upon entry into the dining room, we were shown to our table and given a personalised note wishing us a happy birthday. All the staff were extremely helpful and professional, and as you can see from my photos, the food really does speak for itself. It was incredibly delicious and so well presented. When food is done right, it can be the most amazing experience of your life. Being a person that loves to spend most of my time in the kitchen, creating culinary delights for the family. I just feel so inspired to keep trying and serve better colourful dishes. We loved the ambience of the restaurant so much, we decided to have the green shade of Kerridge’s re-created in a paint colour and I’m currently painting our dining room to always remind us of our beautiful visit here. 💚

What an amazing experience. Food taste absolutely heavenly. Also chef’s knowledge is second to none. Didn’t take much pictures while eating (To be honest felt bit awkward 😅). But had a valuable explanation from the head chef about the food and how they made it.

Everything was perfect, the beautiful surrounding, the efficient (and elegant) staff and of course, the star of the show, the amazing food. A great selection of wines by the glass so we could each have as we wanted and match our chosen course. The pre-meal cocktails were a hit too. The final bill did make we wince rather, but you get what you pay for!

Amazing experience, service, and ambience. Everything we ordered was exceptional down to the bread basket. Knocked off one star as, sadly, the ribeye main was under-seasoned and actually outshined by the gorgeous melt-in-your-mouth ox cheek on the plate which we just wanted more of.

  • 4/5 reza a. 1 year ago on Google
I had the aged ribeye for the main and the banana soufflé for desert. Execution of each element was superb and free from any faults. Did they all work together? No, unfortunately they did not work for me. I felt quite heavy afterwards. I found banana soufflé with the chocolate sauce and ice cream too sweet. A sharp raspberry flavor or/and a sharp sorbet would have balanced the sweetness and clean your palette from the heavy roast. Service was fantastic and restaurant staff were very attentive. In case you need to use bathroom you have to use the ones from the hotel and they are in a horrible shape and extremely dirty. Will I go back again? No.

It was great to be back at Kerridge’s which is one of our favourite places and once again we enjoyed another fabulous lunch. There’s always such a good friendly atmosphere which makes you feel that you are in an enormous pub. You also get the chance to enjoy fantastic food and drinks so really why wouldn’t you come back as many times as you can. Our visit on saturday started with a delightful welcome at reception before taking a seat in the the bar area for a pre lunch drink. This was to be a complimentary glass of champagne courtesy of manager Blaine who managed to come over for a chat before heading back to an already busy service. Once we’d finished our bubbles it was time to head to our table which was in one of their delightful booths. It was here that head waiter Anne took over and looked after us superbly for the rest of the afternoon along with Blaine who would pop over whenever possible. We started with a Cod Roe Crumpet snack along with Bread and Butter while we looked at the A la Carte menu. After a discussion with Anne about the menu and her recommendations we placed our order. We then chose a fabulous 2020 Dolcetto D’Alba a light and italian red wine from Piedmont. Now it was time for our starters where we chose the Hand Dived Orkney Scallop with yorkshire rhubarb , black pudding , cobble lane coppa. For myself I opted for the Orange Glazed Duck Rillettes with green peppercorns , pistachios , cognac jelly , sourdough toast and truffle butter. These were two fabulous dishes to get us of to a great start. Now we moved on to our main courses of the Beef Shin Pie with clotted cream mash , beef suet crumble and devilled peppercorn sauce. We also chose fish heaven in the form of a Fillet of Sea Bass with sicilian red prawns , lobster and seaweed butter , charred cucumber , pickled carrots and a parsnip purée. To accompany these dishes we ordered the heavenly triple cooked chips and hispi cabbage. After a nice little break it was time for dessert and boy was I in for a treat. My wife opted for the fabulous Banana Souffle with coconut sorbet and chocolate sauce. Now for myself when ever I see Apple Tarte Tatin on the menu then it’s a must have and this one along with vanilla ice cream and cardamom custard really will take some beating. It was an individual portion cooked in its own pot that was simply sublime. We finished with coffee and petit fours to bring to an end another fantastic visit to Kerridge’s. I really would recommend a visit here as the food from head chef Nick was amazing as always and the service led by Blaine , Anne and the team was first class. I for one will be looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

Exceptional and flawless, but at a price. Definitely restaurant for a special occasion. The building and decor is very grand as you would expect for a state building. The service and food was out of this world.

Wow an amazing lunch, the food is outstanding, we treated ourselves to lunch here and it was faultless, staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble, I was escorted to the bathroom as it is located in the hotel as I would not have found it, staff are well versed on the menu polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend and we would go again. A great experience. The decor is fabulous too.

Went on a Sunday afternoon as a group of 4. All the food were great and the service was impeccable. We stayed for almost 4h but they did not rush us at all and joked we can stay til the evening and will book us a room overnight if need be. Decor was very classy too with some amazing art sculptures.

Fabulous place. Food is out of this world, drinks on pricey side £16 for a gin and lemonade...watch out for the service charge

Kerridge's Bar & Grill is not somewhere I can afford to eat and drink on a regular basis, but let's get on with it. Celebrating a special event or occasion however it is absolutely wonderful. Everything from the welcome at the door to the decor is perfect. The food as you would expect from a Kerridge restaurant is stunning, but what put the cherry on the proverbial cake were the staff. These places can seem a little overwhelming if you are not a regular (and I am not) but the staff were just great. Thank you.

Had an excellent meal here with friends. Food was very good, although slightly over salted on a couple of dishes. Highlights were the Risotto starter and the Chicken to share for main course. Service was impeccable. All in all a very enjoy dinner and would highly recommend.
