Very disappointed with this place , waited 35+ minutes for our food and we didn’t even get a suitable response when we asked for our food. I ordered the JAMBALAYA , really not worth paying 15£ for rice mixed with tomato sauce, the chicken pieces were over cooked , I also found a vein in one of my prawns. Overall this dish was very bland and just not something I would recommend and eat again. Service is also bad as ordering extra sauces could take a long time as well. My friends ordered the chimichanga , and they loved it.

Had to send back Mrs Baileys Dads Pina colada as it had very little alcohol. The sauce that seems to cover a proportion of the dishes is too hot making it hard to taste the meat of that particular dish. The sweet potato fries were nice as were the breaded jalapenos.

Chiquito had one of the worst customer service I have ever received in central London. It is extremely slow and a lot of the times I never got what I ordered, especially the small things like water, sauces and the like. They never came even after asking multiple times. The food is way too overpriced for the quantity offered especially for the jambalaya which was £15 and really wasn’t all that. The churro milkshake was really disappointing as well, and again extremely pricey for the quantity that came. My friends ordered a veg chimichanga which was decent and probably a better order than the jambalaya. The place has a nice ambience and good for taking photos with their sombrero’s and is in a great location but apart from that I don’t think I will be returning for the food.

This was a pleasant surprise in many aspects: 1. Waitress kind and quick to serve food 2. Mojito very refreshing but mint leaves not fresh (you get a black mint leaf now and again) 3. Nachos good 4. Steak turf and surf disappointing, dry meat and over-cooked shrimp. Stay away from this dish. Very touristy, slightly better than tgi fridays

Very spacious dining space in this area. The restaurant is super packed with tourists all the time and people come here for drinks as well. Not suitable for quiet dates because it’s quite crowded here so you always need to shout out loud. Friendly but definitely overloaded staffs. It takes time to wait for your foods and they’re not cheap. My friends and I were here with Groupon so the price is more reasonable. Very nice salads and grilled plates. The combination of sauces and ingredients are well considered. The rest of them are okay. Nothing impressive but fine. It was too load to sit inside of the restaurant so we sat outside instead. But needed to tolerate annoying tourists and souvenir sellers who came across to the customers all the time. Drunk people even shout to the poor waitress. But it’s common to this area and I personally won’t get too close to area for meal if I want to have a quality time with friends and foods.

I visited several times and it was always satisfying. Really good tastes with very good prices. At night it's always full, but worth to wait. Staff is very kind too. You should give it a shot.

We have been at Chiquito several times when in London. The food is great, good selection and there is a separate drinks menu with lots of different beverages. The service however is slow, it takes long to get drinks even though food service is good. The last we wanted to eat there no one came to serve us, so we left, as did some others. Service should definitely be improved.

Beautiful Mexican restaurant in Leicester Square, located in the centre of London. The atmosphere is cool, the staff is nice and polite, and the food is very good and well decorated. It's not much expensive if you think about the location. They use to leave Mexican hats around the restaurant so you can take some pictures with your friends. You will spend around 20 - 30£ each

I miss Mexican food since my days on the cruise ships, and Chiquito is my time machine. Great restaurant with magnificent atmosphere. Food is just excellent, compliments to the chef, and to friendly staff. Place is sorted out in a way you can enjoy this tasty food and do conversation without disturbance. And yes, this excellence has downise: no Padre kino wine..... The rest is perfect.

Small portions, drinks are not worth the money.
