This review is a hard one cause the food was delicious. Great portion size and some amazing flavour. The experience was kind of soured though by a waitress who seemed to be offended with us ordering food. We almost felt like we needed to apologize for our existence. Other staff though were great!

Wagamama is one of the most popular food chains in the UK. The main idea is to be seated and order Chinese inspired food and get it quickly and enjoy in a very relaxed and casual environment. Went for lunch at Covent Garden's Wagamama. There was a queue outside, it was lunchtime so understandable. While at the queue we were given menus to look at, suggesting they were trying to speed up the process, so that by the time we're sat at the table we would be ready to order. The queue moved quickly and we got a table. The issue was that we waited around 10mins and still not a single member of staff came to ask for drinks order or food as we were ready to order. We had to find a member of staff and ask them if they could take the order. The food arrived quickly and the drinks just before the food. The food was delicious as usual, absolutely no issues there. The option to scan a QR code and pay the bill was really handy considering how busy the staff was. I would suggest that they try to improve their service during busy periods like lunch time.

I absolutely love this place - it has some of the best pasta dishes in London. Everything we had was excellent - it's the kind of place you want to return to over and over to try multiple things and repeat favorites. The wine selection is great too, it's small but everything is good and pairs well with their dishes. Service was also great - friendly, attentive and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Nice casual and comforting place. Food was tasty overall, and serviced relatively faster than anticipated. Their juices are good as well. Recommended if you're in the mood for oriental food.

Bad experience. They kept us outside in the cold weather for long time 🥶, even though the place inside was half empty 😕! The waiter told us that some part of the restaurant were closed but also the open session had dirty tables 👎 (customers left and nobody cleared the table all the time we were waiting outside). Also the floor was dirty under some table 👎 Very little piece of fish in my sister in law dishes.

Diane your customer service skills are absolutely horrendous!!!!! & that’s putting it lightly Please work on that !!!!! Mumbling under your breath whilst taking an order is extremely disrespectful which is why you ended up suggesting something I never relayed to you Apart from the waitress with the terrible attitude/ listening skills . The atmosphere and meal was okay decent place for a quick bite to eat.

Super service and food was tasty. Billy the Owl liked it too!! He was greeted nicely by our waitress. This place is Epic Misfits recommend.

Good food and good service. The firecracker chicken was a hit. Good choices for kids too. Service was good. Manager was very courteous was late to come to our table to check on allergies and gave us some tea and juice drinks on the house.

Got to enjoy one of my favourite Wagamama dishes, the Yasai Katsu Curry, in the lovely Covent Garden branch. The venue was very nice and we got to sit in a cute little 2 seater booth. Staff were friendly, service was great and timely and food very delicious.

Very good location for a quick lunch/dinner whenever you are around. The service was very friendly and the had a great selection of high quality food and drinks. They also offer freshly made juices, which were fantastic. I think the location is not for some intimate dinner or lunches, but rather if you are around and want some quick food. To order and to pay was very simple and smooth as you could pay through a QR-code process. Overall great place with great food!

I really enjoy the yasai katsu curry, it’s my go to dish when I go to the restaurant. The chilli squid wasn’t up to the usual standard. The spicy vegan teriyaki chicken steam buns are really good, I definitely recommend those. The buns are really soft and compliment the vegan chicken very well. They have lots of vegan options available, with a vegan menu and a gluten-free menu. You are able to take away leftovers, they provide a really good takeaway container which is tightly sealed to avoid leakage. Food arrives promptly once ordered. Whilst waiting in the queue the provided us with jasmine tea.

Ok where do I start...... The staff are amazing, and supper friendly from the first second you come in. The dinning is really pretty and our (2 seated) table had a mirror by it with we found usefull. We were comfortable at our table too. The food is so tasty and I love that there are alot of options for vegan and vegetarian options since the mean is not halal there. I first tried the VEGEN sticky ribs and the texter of it was the same as real meat would be. Next I tried the ' _____ yaki soba' (rice noodles) which was so yummy. My friend tried the vegetarian dumplings and she said it was amazing but she didn't like the sause it came with (sweet flavour) so we just had it with the soy sauce that is already provided for tou on the table as well as chilly oil, salted soy sause, less salt soy sause and chilli seasoning.

Very slow service in there. Waited over 20 mins to see anyone, then a further 20 mins before I got a drink. I had the Katsu chicken. Sauce was like chip shop curry sauce. The music in there was very loud and rap type music. Not catering for the whole age range in there. They seemed short of staff tbh. Could be better.

One word: Delicious. What more is there to say really? If the food is amazing and the staff are speedy yet very welcoming. There is nothing to complain about.

Great food, service may depend on the server. Most of plates are spicy, menu does not describe the level of spicyness so you should ask if you don’t like spicy! But in general, great place for affordable and delicious noodles

A very lackluster performance from a brand I love to eat at. Giving it a 4 SOLELY because of my server Chloe. Super sweet, amazingly charming and just all around adorable. Ordered a cocktail they charged £8.7 and it’s not even a half glass. Told them I was allergic to cucumbers, and my dish came out with cucumbers after the kitchen told her it didn’t have them. Luckily it’s not a death allergy as I consumed some of the food before tasting the cucumber. She sprang into action to remove the food, get another dish and even offered to get medical assistance if I needed it. Second dish came out ZERO veg at all, we know bc she requested I check the food to be sure they didn’t get it wrong again. Chloe stopped by regularly throughout the remainder to ensure I was alright, I was, and apologized profusely for the mixup. Would only come again for Chloe.

Absolut keine Empfehlung! Es gab eine Schlange vor der Tür, obwohl einige Tische frei waren. Wir (5 Personen) bestellten alle Getränke und Essen, sowie insgesamt 1 Vorspeise. Zuerst kam ein Hauptgericht. 10 Minuten später das 2. Weitere 5 Minuten später das dritte und vierte und die Vorspeise. Ungefähr zu dem Zeitpunkt kamen dann auch die Getränke. Das fünfte kam nach dreimaligem Nachfragen insgesamt 25-30 Minuten nach dem ersten Gericht. Wir bestellten dann noch 3 Nachtische, die alle 20 Minuten nacheinander kamen. Aus irgendeinem Grund gab uns ein Kellner dann einen Kuchen aufs Haus. Dieser stand am Ende auf der Rechnung sowie ein weiteres Hauptgericht, das wir nicht bestellt hatten. Auf die Rechnung warteten wir auch 20 Minuten und mussten mehrmals nachfragen. Noch nie haben wir so schlechte Abläufe und unmotivierte Mitarbeiter in einem Restaurant erlebt. Das Essen war ok.

I ordered Chilli Ramen:- Soup: soup temperature is like cold water, not hot enough. Noodle: no texture at all. Soup taste: like tomato soup. We all order 3 ramen, all taste no good. Cutlery set: dirty 1/5 star

Nice Wagamama with an ok atmosphere. Food was hot & good standard. Took a while to order though, as I was alone I think they thought I was waiting for others!

Nice fresh food with some great veggie / vegan alternatives. The food seemed a bit bland on this occasion, but still fresh and, still a very yummy bite. Great service, with friendly staff. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing experience. The staff was very helpful and attentive. We didn't wait to long for our food and tasted amazing. I will definitely go again and try other things from their menu.

Service is good. Staff is friendly and makes you feel welcomed and takes your food orders promptly once ready. Makes good recommendations. But thereafter may have been less attentive than preferred. We made many calls for soup spoons but never came as they were busy. Rice dishes were great. Soup based noodles however were bland and somewhat disappointing. Nice desserts and drinks.

First time in Wagamama I wasn't sure the food was going to be to my liking. Finger licking mini chicken skewers and noodles with a bit of fresh everything in it later I shouldn't have worried. The beer was light and tasty too.

The food came quickly, and was delicious, we chased up our drinks some time into eating....1 came, we assumed the rest would follow, chased up again with someone else, then we chased up again with our waiter, after some time we finally got the rest of our drinks, I had finished my meal and the others with me almost had. The drinks were plonked on the table without so much as a sorry for the delay. Odd because we normally get great service and we weren't rude, he just didn't get a tip (again, you have to be this bad not to get a tip, I know or assume the wages aren't great). Anyhoo, can't always get great staff, food still lovely! 👍

We had to queue though they were space inside. And when we were inside people were still queuing outside while they were space inside. But. The food was excellent ..and the service perfect

Delicious food and drinks, plenty of vegan options including the kids menu. The kids menu has colouring and games on it to keep little ones occupied whilst waiting for food, although we didn't have to wait very long. The only thing I'd really mention to improve things is please don't leave the kids food as the last thing to bring out. Other than that a lovely meal.

Only a 4 star review today due to missing items on the menu. Service was good, food was fresh, hot and very tasty as always. However, the 1st World problems continue. No Bang Bang Cauliflower and the worst crime of all, no Katsu Banana :( a disappointing end to the meal. I also felt it was very expensive today

Great venue - vibrant and atmospheric. Food was great, as always in a Wagamana. Only disappointment was the staff, very slow to be seated (seats available), very slow to be served (had to ask 3 times for our order to be taken) and the waiter really struggled to understand English, making the whole process awkward. We asked a few times for green tea, and didn't received. Same for child's chop sticks. Food was great though, and will always be back.

The food was very good (as always), but this time I was a disappointed by the staff. There was a queue of about 10 people (including myself and my friends) outside the restaurant, even though the restaurant clearly had lots (and I mean LOTS) of available tables. You would think this is because of Covid, but I doubt it since some occupied tables were very close to each other and there was clearly no social distancing. They were nice enough to bring us some hot tea outside, but my issue is that we should have been invited inside way faster than we were. We kept seeing people leaving, but no one was invited inside for like 15 minutes at a time. Besides this issue, the guy that served us wasn't great either, we asked for the bill and we had to wait 20 minutes until some other guy noticed that we were still there and we asked him for the bill instead, which was brought to us very fast. Also, the restaurant itself it weird.. I went to the bathroom, which was at floor -1, and it was very dark (you could barely see) and veryyyy cold. It felt like I was outside, but darker. Wagamama usually has very good food, but I didn't enjoy at this particular restaurant. Will avoid it in the future

Ordered all veggie food and it was delicious. I loved the noodles and katsu curry. Food was very well presented. All social distancing precautions in place. You will not find this in all restaurants. But here, there is a plastic separation built between tables which is very good.

The food here was delicious 😋 they also make fresh juice that is so yummy I would recommend coming here

The service was very typical and quite fast. The food was tasty but unfortunately not warm enough as it should be a ramen bowl. Bittersweet experience of what we were expecting.
