An absolute rip off. I've given Five Guys the benefit of the doubt on too many occasions, and each time they've failed. £18.95 for a burger, chips and drink that would cost you £10 less at Burger King for the same quality. My latest meal was made even better as both drinks machines were virtually empty, yet they still charged £3.75 for a drink. Never coming again.

Visited for lunch with a few work colleagues, my first time in a five guys. The place was very clean and the staff friendly and keen to take our order. The food was cooked well and arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I would have preferred our food was on trays rather than all piled into a big bag when we were dining in. The portion size of chips was huge, luckily a colleague said to only order two the spicy fries and normal between us all and this was good advice as we didn’t eat them all. The milkshakes were good too. All in all it was ok, nothing to rave about and more expensive than some burger places.

I can't resist the free peanuts, the spicy cajun fries or the fully loaded 'all the way' burger with extra jalapeños. The chocolate milkshake is a thing of beauty too. Yes it's one of the most expensive fast food outlets but for a special treat its worth checking out.

Very hard to be disappointed by a five guys, always full of flavour, perfectly grilled burgers and a wide variety of toppings. Very difficult not to leave a mess! Unlimited soda refills are a must for a meal of this magnitude, and the quantity of fries is awesome. Highly recommend to anyone passing by, if you're a regular or have never been, it is by far one of the best burger chains out there! (And it's not just burgers!)

Offers the same great taste as Five Guys in America, but with a few differences. There are no shelled peanuts at the entrance like in the US locations. The drink machine has less variety – notably, no Vanilla Coke. Interestingly, mayonnaise, which isn’t standard in the US, is available alongside ketchup here.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat before heading to the theatre. They’re a busy restaurant and food is pretty consistent. Be sure to order the Cajun fries with your burger. Their milkshakes are delicious or choose a soft drink with unlimited refills. Our burger wasn’t piping hot on this occasion but was fine. A tasty meal. Seating on street level. Consistently good burgers. I’ve not tried their hotdogs. Walking distance from Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Leister Square

Five Guys in Covent Garden, London, is a haven for burger enthusiasts seeking a hearty and customizable dining experience. The restaurant's vibrant atmosphere mirrors the lively surroundings of Covent Garden. The ordering process is straightforward – choose your preferred toppings from an extensive list, ensuring a personalized touch to your meal. The star of the show is undoubtedly their burgers, made with high-quality beef patties that are juicy and flavorful. The customizable nature of the menu allows for endless combinations, catering to diverse taste preferences. The fries, hand-cut and generously portioned, are a delectable side that perfectly complements the main course. Service is fast and efficient, maintaining the brand's commitment to providing a quick-casual dining experience. The staff's friendly demeanor adds a welcoming touch, contributing to the overall positive atmosphere. However, the prices lean towards the higher end for a fast-food joint, reflecting the quality of ingredients used. The layout of the restaurant can be cramped during peak hours, leading to a bustling and sometimes noisy environment. In summary, Five Guys in Covent Garden delivers on its promise of tasty, customizable burgers and satisfying sides. While it may be a bit pricier than traditional fast food, the quality of ingredients and the lively ambiance make it a worthwhile choice for those craving a premium burger experience in the heart of London.

I'm not sure where to start my review, other than to say you have to be a real aficionado of 5 Guys to want to eat their food and above all pay their high prices. My family and I ordered 3 hamburgers, with 1 regular and 1 small fries, as well as 1 regular Cola and the cost was £44!! I wouldn't have minded if this place was something special but it isn't. Furthermore I don't understand why they feel the need to throw an extra portion of fries into the bag over the burgers?! Seems so odd to me. As for the burger, it tasted ok, but I did find it a bit too greasy for my liking and as for the fries, they were all small, which kind of made it tricky to dip them into the tub of sauce without getting sauce all over your fingers. I realise this is a subjective review and there'll be those who really love this burger establishment, but it's not for me. If I'm paying that kind of money for a burger meal I'm going to expect something a bit special, if not then I'm happy to go elsewhere.

If you know, you know! Five Guys aren’t anywhere near as common as we’d like—and this was one amazing. The burgers were appropriately sloppy and the fries as greasy as anyone could want. I’ve never seen one with such ample seating—especially in a major metropolitan city. The toilets were initially confusing as they don’t have signs but once one goes far enough one way or the other, the answer becomes obvious. For anyone craving a proper heart attack-inducing meal, look no further. Highly recommend the Cajun fries and the Oreo shake. Keep in mind that everything is ridiculously expensive on this city—and Five Guys is no exception. This meal plus three shakes was north of £70. Be. Prepared!

I had high expectations of Five Guys, and all of them were met at this store. My father and I thoroughly enjoyed our burgers and oh my! The fries are fantastic. I cannot wait to visit another Five Guys!

The burgers were meh, uninteresting overall. The fries were good. Given how many people passed by, I would say the service was good and well organized. The atmosphere is the classic fast food chain low effort one you expect. Probably much better options close by in same price range

There are so many advantages to this place: Free refill of all kinds of beverages, Great fries, nice burger, weird people, free toilet. However: two burgers in one day are just too much burgers for one day. In conclusion: grab some peanuts 🥜 for free (we haven't).

five guys always delivers delicious food. yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side but it’s worth it because you know you’ll always receive a good meal. this location has a smaller seating area on the main floor, but downstairs has more than enough tables to always find a seat. make sure to get the cajun fries & the seriously good mayo!!!

Great fries and burgers!!! Small fries portion is way enough with a hamburger so I don't recommend going for the medium or large. Tip: if you order a cheeseburger you can ask for extra cheese for NO extra charge! 💰

This place does the most wicked milkshakes in the land. I hadn't had a five milkshake for more than a year and coming to London it was the first thing I had to do. OMG it was worth the wait... I had a oreo milkshake and it was just divine... I had a memory rush when I had the first mouth full... It was fresh, creamy, sweet rush, refreshing, my taste buds were doing a million taste blips a second. The only diwn dude was the straw collapsed after a few slurps.. But that's for good reasons.... No plastic.... So I just necked it instead....

Popped in for a bite to eat during trip out in London. Always enjoy a five guys establishment and this one had a good layout, lovely staff and the milk shakes are always to die for 😋

The best Five in central London. Me and three people before me got the wrong shake from the Lady. The lady doesn't asking what order, just nods her head. 😅 when I went back to replace the shake, the employee (Lady) said: "I did ask what your order number was" lol I don’t think so😑

Very busy, but served briskly if somewhat perfunctorily. This is a place that is good, and knows it. Burgers delicious, they seem to have thought about every element from the soft warm sweet bun to the cheese and of course burger patty. Choose your toppings - as many as usual like, fill your boots. Fries very good indeed, hot, perfectly cooked and you really taste the potato (farm is named). My nephew reported good shakes. So far always managed to find a table. So why not 5 stars? It is very crowded and feels stressful waiting for your order, and it is one of those spaces that wherever you stand you are always in the way. I think the young crowd that work here could be friendlier. There is a sense that we should feel lucky to be dining here, but then I guess we are.

I've been to a few Five Guys recently and I think it's fair to say my opinion of them has changed from a few years past. I had visited this one before I began reviewing and wasn't impressed. This time I left satisfied. The service was excellent, and incredibly fast considering the size of the queue. The burger was just as I like it, juicy and full of flavour, and not coated in things just to make it look good in a photo. The portion of chips was the largest I've seen so far for Five Guys. Incredibly generous! Prices are higher than other fast food chains, but the food's better too, so can't complain.

Good burger, amazing fries, and friendly staff. I've been to a few different Five Guys locations and they've all had high standards. This was no different. Smily and friendly cashier, good atmosphere (though music was kind loud, but that's just for my taste). Best fries for me, and burger was great too. Place is big with a lot of sits and all clean and tidy, even though it was busy. I recommend.

Staff on tills didn't really seem to be happy to be there which puts you off a bit. Had to clear our own table before sitting down as no one seemed to be doing it. Can't knock the food though, fresh, tasty and really filling.

Very nice location and it has a lot of setting area downstairs as well, Same as any other five guys fresh burgers and absolutely delicious fries. It's usually very busy but it's actually quicker then most five guys.

Best burger I’ve ever eat! They put more fries than the container can contain and the bag was plenty of crunchy fries 🍟 AMAZING You can re fill your glasses as much as you want and in addition the normal burger is insane I recommend the little one but the normal it’s also fantastic! Love this burgers ❤️

Very clean and the service was fast. Got our food in less than 3 minutes from ordering it. I could see it was a really slick operation properly managed. The food was really nice like you normally get in a Five Guys. We went here about y months ago and it took 25 minutes to get the food so I was pleasantly surprised this time.

Daniel is fantastically charming and excellent. I didn't have a complex order or difficulty, and he was charming and personable. Obv the hot dog was good and to Five Guys standard, but Daniel made the visit super lovely.

Does what it says on the tin. Certainly up market compared to other burger establishments with more variety and better food. However, you do pay considerably more for that. Service is good, quick and efficient but despite the time I visited it was very very loud. The portions are large!

My little bacon cheeseburger was amazing! Fries were hot and salty, and my husband loved his hot dog. Great place for delicious burgers and fries!!!

Five Guys, still amazing, small fries are always like a pound of potatoes and the spicy version tastes amazing! Yes, it's expensive, but still worth it! Except the Reese's shake, that tastes like vanilla.
