My favourite sushi place of all time. I also love sushi samba, but that’s only for a real special occasion (very expensive) Sticks n’sushi however, is the best place for the price you pay. The sushi is QUALITY. GET THE TRUFFLE SESAME CAULIFLOWER. Most underrated dish, it made me like cauliflower!! I personally don’t bother much with the sticks, but I love the starters. Service is always great. You’re in safe hands here.

Visited here on a Thursday evening and it was quite busy. However staff were so attentive and kind throughout. The food was amazing! So fresh and tasty and arrived at our table very quickly. I definitely recommend the beef tataki. We had some cocktails as well which were delicious :) Absolutely check this place out

We visited during the festive Christmas period. The place was packed and pretty loud. Tables are very close to each other and you can barely walk in between them. Food was actually not bad! We ordered a set menu with their selection of raw fish, some rolls, skewers and some nigiris. Service was pretty average to be honest. Most likely would visit again to give it another try.

Great food and service everything was served up perfectly. Their fish is fresh, both the beef and salmon tataki were divine (we had four plates!). I came here twice within a week and took my colleagues here after a meeting — so it was that good. :) also they have these little trainer chopsticks as well🥢 in case someone in your group doesn’t know how to use them!

Japanese creative cuisine tastes good, but the price is not cheap and the space is not large.

Amazing food! Service was quite slow but there were a lot of large tables and the venue quickly filled up. We were there for about 2.5 hours. The pre ordered set menu came in 3 stages. The photos here are of the vegetarian menu offered. They also had festive mulled Sake and plenty of other sake available along with alcohol free beers, regular beers etc.

Arrived on a Sunday evening for an impromptu dinner. The place wasn’t packed, but quite full. Very good sushi experience overall and an attentive staff. Nothing will blow your mind here, but the menu is quite wide and the execution is great. The sticks were also a nice twist! Not that cheap of a meal, but nice for an occasion!

Place was packed but still managed to fit in our request! Food was great and atmosphere as well, got to sit facing the kitchen so was getting more hungry then ever 😋

For my personal taste, way too crowded! Based on the pictures on their website, I was expecting a more intimate atmosphere, but unfortunately it was a very big and crowded (hence noisy) place. The fact it was very busy was also noticeable for the service. Entered at 19:15, finally got my drink at 19:50 after asking 3 times! The food was OK, although it looks way better than it tastes. Had better sushi at a more reasonable price.

I do not recommend this restaurant, as there are many other great quality options available at even better prices elsewhere. The food used to be much better before! I won’t be returning to Sticks and Sushi. The service is terrible. It took them 45 minutes to bring our drinks. We had to send back the food multiple times because we were thirsty and needed to have something to drink before eating.

Great place! The food was nothing short of amazing, and we had a lot of it among the 5 of us. Service was super efficient and also helpful with advise on how much to order etc. very cool atmosphere and super flexible in moving us to a bigger table. Loved it!

This is a lovely restaurant with great food, but it's pricey. The food on the menu all looks wonderful, and what we ordered was yummy. We have a lovely waitress looking after us, but the one who showed us to our table was a little grumpy. Overall nice experience and look forward to visiting again.

Sticks n sushi 🍱🥢 This is a very classy sushi place, you can definitely tell the difference from your high street sushi stores. The interior is quite dark (perfect for a dinner date vibe). It was quite pricey (we went to celebrate our birthdays) and small portion sizes however the food was delicious! * Taste: 8/10 * Service: 8/10 * Price: 9/10 ££££ * Presentation: 9/10 Follow my food account on instagram @best_restaurantsldn

Overpriced sushi. I booked this place because of the reviews. We waited about 25 min for the table, then the waitress was so pressured and she didn’t even give us time to order. She stressed us a lot with her attitude. We had booked for 8:30 pm, so we were the last booking for that table. We ordered the plate for 4 people sushi for ~£120. Almost no taste. So disappointed. The cocktails were just okay.

For platonic dinner, ask for the sushi bar For romantic dinner, ask for restaurant table For lunch, ask for restaurant table Beautifully presented food, very attentive staff and flexible with dish swaps in set menus. Overall a very interesting innovative culinary experience that compliments traditional dishes whilst catering for the Western palate.

Starting with what I disliked the most! Jeeez, it’s so dark in there. I think we were especially “lucky” to sit at the table by the stairs with no light on top of us and with only 1 little lamp on the table making it impossible to read the menu and to properly see the food. ( whatever food is with great light on the pic - thanks to phone cam). And when we asked for a second lamp to put on the table for a little more light we were told that there are no available lamps. Also one waitress with blond hair was not nice at all. But the others was quite polite and nice and very good. The food as always great. Everything we have tried is absolutely delicious. Have to mention the dessert. That chocolate mousse is like heaven. 😍

Great for pre-theatre dinner. Food and drink service very quick. Server was very knowledgeable about allergies and happy to make swaps to the sharing platter to make sure I could eat everything that was brought out :)

not much to say, been to their other branches, a very good place, very good food, but unfortunately this one in particular did not convince me much because one of the chairs at our tables was completely dirty, when I mentioned it to the waiter his The answer was that this chair has been around for so long, which surprised me how a chair can have been dirty for so long with gum stuck to it that they couldn't clean it well. Quite disappointed on the cleanliness issue when you're paying £300-£400 for a meal.

Highly recommended! This is not your average sushi place which is reflected in the price. Great portions and sharer platter options. All dishes taste really great & fresh. We ordered around 26 pieces of sushi and paid £44 each (including drinks and sides). Service is excellent.

Big and dark place, looks slightly different than in the photos. It’s a regular sushi franchise. Nice menu with a wide variety to choose from and the service at good quality. They can get lost due to the large restaurant size, but everything is pretty organized and communicated.

Definitely worth a visit!! Quality and taste were top notch and everyone! Staff friendly. The menus are ideal if you want to try more from the menu. We chose 'Perfect Day' (we were able to easily swap one sushi from shrimp to chicken) and the quantity was perfect for 2 people. We would go here again at any time and thank you for the lovely evening!!

We went for the Carpe Diem platter which was great value for money and gave us the opportunity to try everything. The best items for me were the Kani Korokke, tuna tartare bites and broccoli - which was made by the accompanying sesame sauce. Sushi wise it was all decent - not quite melt in the mouth like some high end Japanese restaurants, but definitely a step up from other chains. Service started well but as the restaurant filled slipped drastically, had to get up at one point to find someone to get us more drinks. When we asked for tap water they would just fill very small glasses rather than just leaving a jug. Overall service aside good value for money and we left full and with a doggy bag.

We showed up for a quick bite, last thing, with no booking... The place was packed but the guy, front of house, pulled out the stops and managed to squeeze us in.. The food was awesome, flavours (as always) were delicious, and some of the new menu items were great.. We love Sticks'n'Sushi

It was amazing! Service not so good! I feel like the young serving staff felt they were too good for us and didn’t want to be there. But food was good.!

Fantastic food, in a great environment, delivered by excellent waiters. Had a first experience eating-in at Sticks'nSushi and have been positively surprised by the quality of food, drinks and service. Lucy H. was incredibly attentive to our food - delivered each part of the order in a timely manner, just as we finished eating previous meal, topped-up the drinks as they were finishing and blessed-us with her lovely smile. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommend!

Nice food nothing amazing. AC broken apparently so boiled sitting there they could’ve gotten fans! White Wine came warm not cold. Would I do this again? Probably not.

Went for a business meeting and the quality of the service together with the combinations of tastes in the food selection was actually amazing. Super attentive service. Waiters had great manners and didn’t feel too intrusive. The sushi selection was incredible in terms of quality and attention to detail. The ambience was also pretty good and up to the london standards. Pricey but you pay for what you get. Definitely a good treat if you like sushi and you are looking to make a good impression or treat yourself. Recommended to book in advance.

Much better acoustics than the location in Soho, kind staff. The perfect day set menu is more than enough for two people. Timeboxed reservation still make for a rushed experience. We wouldn't have had time for desert or coffee.

Absolute perfection. Wonderful staff, amazing food, cannot fault them for a single thing! Beef tataki was sublime, everything was so fresh and you can really tell the high quality of the ingredients. Our waiter made sure to inform us what was halal just be guessing our choices and they were so kind and helpful!

Went in for a late lunch, we ordered a multiple course selection called ‘the perfect day’. The selection of food itself was quite mediocre as there were similar dishes that after a while blend together in terms of taste. The duck rolls were okay but didn’t have much flavor. Overall for £93 I wouldn’t exactly return. As much as the food looked aesthetically pleasing, the flavor did not live up to it.

Amazing experience the food is so beautiful you don't want to eat it and the open kitchen is amazing to watch. The food is gorgeous and so colorful its like art! The flavour combos they've created as well on classics like caesar are incredible and I will definitely be returning again! The staff are also super friendly and will help in what way they can! For example giving you a fork when you're struggling with chopsticks 😂

It's always a pleasure come here. The service is fantastic and the sushi is always fresh, delicious and well put together. The sharing plate is a very good combination and the place is very clean. Highly recommended.

Excellent sushi and service. There are lots of options, the staff will guide you if you need help. Plenty of space, with tables for families, couples and even solo travelers. The prices are quite reasonable (considering it's sushi and London). It's also conveniently close to Covent Garden.

Had a perfect experience here. Staff were super friendly, ambience was great (massive fan of the dim lighting) and food & drink (sparkling lemonade is 10/10) was amazing. Came for my wife’s birthday and the complimentary dessert was really nice, flag on our table was a cool touch too. What impressed me was how accommodating the staff was, we requested non alcoholic soy sauce as we are Muslim and there was no fuss made, they ensured us they’d make sure there’s no alcohol in our food at all. We ordered the black cod and our server told us that they didn’t include it in the order as it has alcohol and offered to replace it with an alternative. Very considerate service, would definitely return and recommend to everyone I know!

Fresh and well prepared sushi and rolls. Flavour was full and interestingly the pickled ginger was packed with zzzzing! Will be back!

Perfect spot for quality sushi! They welcome you with a hot hand towel, thoughtful food and drinks menu and pretty decent prices. They are usually busy, better to book in advance. From all the food options, I would suggest mixed emotions for variety and flavour.

Quick service, good quality sushi. Was seated fairly quickly on a mid-week evening. I didn’t appreciate the service before you get seated so marked down the review. The host is efficient however the waiters just ignore people waiting to be seated, not even a hello, someone will be with you shortly - very disappointing. The waiter attention was spot on once seated.

Amazing place for sushi and Japanese food. Lots of options to share and try different things. We went there on a Friday night and it also had a fun vibe. The drinks menu also had a great variety.
