The atmosphere is really nice and the place is very huge. U can enjoy going around to see the Forest Gump movie pictures and decorations. The seafood is OK but too much greasy, and the service is too slow

Food was good but the interior really takes the cake. If you're a film lover you will love all the Easter eggs in the restaurant. Restaurant was quite busy but they still managed to deliver our menu is good time. The menu is a hit and miss with the flavours, and the pricing is above the average. Pro tip: Run forest run

Food & service were good. Interior is nicely American and "on theme". The entire experience feels a bit commercialised though, starting with the gift shop through which one enters / exits. To me it's a "been there, done that" kind of experience - but a nice one.

I loved this place. I could eat here everyday. Good portion, everyone was happy. On the bad side, the food took a while to come. But once it did I was v happy. Light fluffy flavoursome prawns, well cooked meat. V nice. The staff were hit and miss. Some were over attentive and others didn't want to hear anything. I'd say the place is under staffed when we went. But i would definitely go again.

Food was good but for a place in the middle of London city I was expecting more as the price was not cheap at all. The staff was friendly and helpful, unfortunately I believe that when the place is full they got a bit lost and the food takes more time to reach the table as per experience my drinks arrived just after I started to eat. The interior of the place is great, full of pictures, car plates and other stuff, really cool.

Lovely interior decor, friendly and attentive staff, true diner feel, price reflects its location so expect to pay a premium. This is not your typical budget eats. Now for the quality of the food: 2/3 net catch garlic is superb. Shrimps are really fresh. The popular Forrest Seafood Feast didn't tickle our taste buds, sadly. Also expect to pay a service charge of 12.50%. Overall experience: worthy of another visit to try other menus. I will update my rating in due time.

Everything about Bubba Gump Shrimp was exceptional. Food was great, environment was engaging and detailed intricately. The staff were exceptional and professional, never failing to be kind and serviced us to immaculate standards, creating a great family environment as well. We will definitely bring my draughters next time to enjoy!

I wish I could give no star at all at this place. Maybe it is my fault as I was expectinf something (good) from a chain restaurant like this one. The only good thing of the restaurant is that it is very well designed, the ambient is full of stuff from the movie and I gues you feel an American vibe. However, there's nothing else to it. About the food: we had 3 starters and only one was alright. Then we had 2 mains: coconut shrimp, which had 7 shirmps with a lot of fries (have a look at the pictures) and costs 20 pounds, and the shrimper's heaven: shrimps cooked in different ways with (again) a lot of fries. If I wanted fries as main food I would have gone somewhere else and I would have paid a third. Two of our friends said thath the Buba Gumps they had been in America was better....I was speechless! I would not come back even if I were paid.

Cajun shrimp was amazing, I will definitely come back to it. We also had : Artichoke and spinach,Coconut Shrimp, and Tilapia with Lobster Sauce. All of them were good. Nice American atmosphere in the restaurant. Prices are medium to high.

Simply i would never go there again. What a big disappointment 😞. The food tastes very bad, taste of old sea food that was defrosen or about to be thrown out. Among what I ordered was a Greek salad that was so tiny and did not taste fresh. To be fair to the staff, they were very friendly and helpful but that is the only thing this place has along with its location. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Food was really nice and I'd say slightly above average pricing, cocktails were fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service did take a while sometimes hence only 4/5 stars. Overall a positive experience and would visit again.

Really lovely food and good experience. It was a super quiet Monday afternoon so not long to wait but the food was brilliant (Juicy Shrimp Boil) and staff were great, especially Ndeye. I'll be back.

We had a great meal here on Saturday night! The food was really good, and big portions that we couldn't even finish! The cocktails were very nice too! It was very busy when we were there at about 6pm so I recommend booking ahead. Service was excellent, especially from Adrian - thanks again!

I can't get over how much I loved this place. The decor was wicked, the staff were so lovely and the food was amazing! So tasty and really filling but still wanted to stay and keep eating. I'm gutted there isn't a restaurant up north but will definitely be coming back next time I'm in London!

Great restaurant with lovely staff. Got there 45 mins early for our booking but managed to get us seated within 5 mins of arrival. The menu is huge with lots of options to choose from. I had the Bruschetta and the Shrimp Boil which were both lovely, I then finished with the Rhubarb and Apple Cheesecake which is great. Will definitely try again next time in London

New name (I guess because of franchise reasons) but still same looking with all the "Forrest Gump" decoration and topic. Nicely decorated and comfortable atmosphere - food an drinks were good and prices for London quite acceptable.

You could tell that the staff were really busy, but this didn't impact the service we received. They ensured that all our food was ready ahead of our theatre visit. The shrimp was tasty and the portions were huge. Would recommend

The food is not bad. Everything is good and it doesn’t cost that much. For everyone willing to try it, it’s a great choice for having something quick to eat. My advice is to ask for the waitress Ndeye she was really kind and her service was great. I’ll probably comeback.

We went as a family and this is a decent place to dine. Would recommend making a reservation before as they don't take walk-ins. The staff are friendly and yes, it does offer halal food also. They have their certification on display. The food is good and service is good. If you've been to Bubba Gump's in the US, the portions here in the UK are much smaller. The Cajun Shrimp was AMAZING! The only let down is the portion size and the prices they charge. Next time we visit, we will book a Groupon voucher instead.

Had a pleasant visit, we attended the Leicester Square branch for our 1 year anniversary. (Luckily we booked way in advance). I honestly couldn’t fault the service. There was a short wait to be seated but after speedy table service the food was incredible. Really liked the idea of the red and blue signs so the staff know when you’re ready to order and they were well on the ball. The only let down was rude customers towards the staff who had no control over their issues. They handled them well too.

This review would have been 4 stars but for the fact the place was freezing cold, the staff being clueless on a parking offer* and not explaining the Red and Blue Number plate system to get them to stop at your table. The food was tasty and well cooked and served promptly. Tried to get in a few weeks previously but was turned away due to not having a reservation, so best to check ahead. * Q parking Whitcombe Street is less than 5 minutes walk away and Bubba Gump will give you a ticket that will only charge £17,50 for the day, normal price is £9.00 an hour.

Enjoyed my time and the Bubba Gump restaurant with fast and friendly service. Meals can be American size portions that is probably why they can be pricey. Good atmosphere and would defiantly come back. Not the fanciest of places but has a fun décor. Has a little shop on the ground level with the restaurant upstairs. Was not expecting the Forrest Gump theme but enjoyed it! Was not a fan to use a QR code for the menu.

We have visited Bubba Gump restaurant a number of times over several years and are never disappointed. It is a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone, whether you are a fan of the film or not. Theming: The theming of the building is very well done. The walls are lined with photos and quotes from the film and are a real treat to read to pass time whilst waiting for your food to arrive. The signs for guests to use are also a great addition, the RUN FORREST RUN and STOP FORREST STOP sign is perfect for getting your waiter/waitresses attention or wishing to be left alone for privacy. I always find in restaurants how awkward it is when people keep coming over to check up on you but this sign avoids this unwanted or wanted attention. I also enjoyed the films playing in the background, it adds to the overall ambience of the place. Food: There is a fantastic selection of food and I would say there is something for everyone. It is a fish lovers dream but there is equally something there for individuals who do not care for it such as steaks. We had two different platters of fish and both were fresh and tasty. I had the simple fish and chips selection which was full of flavour, hot and clearly freshly made. Service: Nothing is too much trouble, the service is spot on and everyone who works there appeared enthusiastic and happy to help. Gift Shop: I love the added gift shop and the chance to own your own plush shrimp! Overall Experience: I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the films or anyone that is after a dining experience rather than just a sit down meal. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the pricing, it is a little bit more expensive than some places but I think this is mostly because you pay for quality and the experience as well as the food.

My original review for "Bubba Gump Shrimp " was awful! The service was diabolical! We were turned away for being 10 minutes early, soaking wet from the rain shower! Food was half eaten! On our return...I couldn't have been more pleased. We were welcomed like we were important. Our server, Rob, was very attentive, making sure everything was OK. Food was lovely, and hot. Nothing left on the plates. Will definitely return on our next visit to London. Thank you Rob, for amazing service and my birthday sundae 🍨
