The service team was a bit helpless for the few customers inside. They mixed up our orders and we weren’t satisfied with the food. The avocado smash had a awful cheap chili sauce all over… the coffee was not too good as well. The juices were ok, but also mixed up with what we ordered… so you better make sure to check if you get what you ordered. ;-) During covid times I would expect the waiters to wear masks. Not here. On the other hand the door was opened all the time and it was super cold … The music was great though and the staff was very friendly!

The best tasty vegan burger I've had so far. The soft bread was an excellent choice since it complements the ingredients much better. Nice restaurant located near Trafalgar's square. The service of the staff was good.... 😋😋😋

Went here on a Sunday afternoon, was seated outside in the beautiful weather and given a nice menu. We were just getting drinks which were served well and fast. Very relaxed atmosphere and nice vibe with some music in the background. They have Hookah as well if that's for you with a wide variety of flavours etc. Highly recommended if you wanna get out of the bustle of Leicester Square but still be very central.

Stopped for Coffee & Cake. Wonderful friendly service. Brilliant selection of cakes. We had a family member join us whilst we were there and they very quickly helped us move to a larger table. Will be back for more cake.

We were staying in the premier inn hub just opposite La Roche, and decided to pop in for some breakfast one morning as it was so close. The food was delicious, I thoroughly enjoyed my vegetarian breakfast and my boyfriend his! The service was great, cant fault it. What a lovely cafe with lovely staff! We will definitely be returning when we next visit London!

This is without a doubt the absolute worst restaurant in the entire city of London. The only thing that is worse the than the blatantly watered scotch they serve. The service is, in fact, so bad that we never actually got to meet half of the food we ordered. This may have been a blessing in disguise, based on the food we did try. P.S. it may be worth noting that we were forced to order food under duress from the waiter in order to be able to order drinks.

I was here to work in peace. Staff were friendly and the ambience was homey. The caramel cheese cake was scrumptious!

I asked for a table for one for breakfast today. The cafe was completely empty but for one table of two. She said “fine”, and pointed to a table near the road. I asked, politely, to sit near the back- she said, irritably “I have bookings madam”. I decided to go elsewhere, but, walking back an hour and a half later, of course the cafe was empty. She clearly just couldn’t be bothered. Won’t be coming here again.

One thing for sure: the cleanliness is awesome! I went to their toilet and it was surprisingly clean and I can see they keep maintaining the cleanliness. I had my vegetarian breakfast and did not aware that the poast egg is optional, she did ask though beforehand which I overlooked. The server took some time to take our order, but it is understood that she is multitasking as she was the only one taking and serving orders. As mentioned by others, she was a bit rude previously. However, our time seems to be great and she was getting well to everyone and approachable. My food was OK and no complaint on this. Do note on the VAT charge around 12.5%

The Breakfast-in-a-burger was absolutely grande in every sense. It was tasty, huge, and reasonably priced! The name is a bit deceiving, it should probably be called the breakfast-and-lunch-in-a-burger!

Lovely small café ☕️ good place to get your afternoon tea accompanied by some cakes. We had the carrot cake and a hot chocolate (with cream and marshmallows on top), it tasted really good and it was ~ 11-12£ per person. They also have a good range of milk choice (soy, almond, oat) and vegan cakes ! The service was fast and friendly.

Great selection of food and drink, and delicious. Would have given the food 5, except they did forget the bacon on something on which it was included. Other than that, couldn’t fault it. Relaxing atmosphere and very attentive and welcoming staff. Will visit again if ever in the area and need food.

Pleasant little eatery adjoining St Martin in the Fields. Good choice of Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine, especially the steak and avocado salad, pleasant atmosphere and very friendly service. Reasonably priced too considering its location.

Excellent coffee, and very tasty pear crumble. Fresh double cream would elevate this dish rather than the squirty stuff. Service a bit slow to start but ladies serving me friendly and warm in their communication. I think I'd like a second serving of that crumble!

Went there with my sister and a friend late afternoon. Food was very tasty. I had the falafel burger with skin on chips. The hosts were very friendly and efficient. Little interruption during our meal. Definitely would go back again. Great job!

I had the vegetarian full breakfast that comes with eggs, hash browns, beans and toast. The black coffee was amazing, I love it when my coffee is fresh and strong and it was exactly that!

Service was terrible; the waitress was rude and clearly disgruntled that she had to work. She was the only one taking orders and serving food across the entire restaurant which perhaps understandably was the reason for her attitude but that’s not the customers’ fault. The food was mediocre and basic. Coffee was burnt but watered down at the same time. Overall, not a good experience and wouldn’t go back or recommend.

Hot choco was mediocre and customer service is POOR. I was enjoying my hot choco but then this waitress (white, lean, about 5’4”) asked me to leave since they have “reservations” for dinner. It was 6 PM at that time. No sorry or anything. Didn’t even bother to say it nicely.

A nice little find after walking miles and needing a sit down and a cup of tea. Despite being 5pm happy to allow us seats and a pot of tea for 2 with prompt service. Plenty for 2 cups each. Good choice of teas available, Service charge included.

Loved the ambience and our server was really nice. Quick service as well and the food looked and tasted great! Second time there and it didn't disappoint. Will definitely go back ☕

Great service, small place with a good atmosphere. We had burgers, I would recommend the Miss Daisy. The chips were delayed so they removed them from the bill without us asking and gave us them to take away at the end. Hidden gem in the heart of the West End.

Came here for drinks during happy hour. Drinks were good but the male server was very moody and rude. Almost rolled his eyes when we asked for a menu and ignored us when trying to make an order and then pay. A younger server finally took our order, who was very pleasant. Probably wouldn’t come back though, impressions mean a lot!

We visited Cafe La Roche 39 and had one cocktail and two slices of cake. Although the cocktail and cake were nice to eat, I couldn't believe a cake slice was £9.50! So overall it came to around £30. I wouldn't expect that pricing in a high-end establishment in London let alone a cafe. I don't believe any cake slice is worth that much, for that reason I wouldn't recommend this place. Responding note: I was charged £9.50 twice and then another 9-something for the cocktail. Initially, the server tried charging me for 2 coffees on top (which we didn't order), so maybe there was a mistake in billing. Either way, for 1 cocktail and 2 slices of cake it was around £30. I don't have the receipt.

I had a chicken paella. Way too pricey compared to the taste and quality of the food. Should’ve been cooked longer as it was too moist if you know what i mean. It was literally just tomato sauce on chicken. Lower your prices or increase the quality and taste of your meals. Plus, 5pounds for a bottle of coke is crazy. Waitresses were very nice and friendly
