Possibly the worse room I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Used Premier Inns for years and never disappointed. This time booked room well in advance, family room. Room is 16 Lower Ground. It’s like staying in a cell, window with no natural daylight, room is a former disabled room only partially adapted to a family room. Bathroom with sliding door, no lock, sink so low your strain your back while using. Family room but only 2 cups for tea and coffee. Shocking, let down, will not return. Warning if you are give room 16 LG Do not accept.

Good location and a short walk to Blackfriars tube station. Staff are really terrible, not switched on at all. I would have given 0 for Customer Service if I could. They are unattentive, inefficient and rude. Example, waited to be served at the bar for well over 5 minutes in sight of staff. When a lady eventually took my order, she mumbled something, was fiddling with her phone, then went to check new guests in!! After another 10 minutes I gave up! Shocking! Ive given 3 stars because the rooms are very comfortable, clean and quiet. Shower is powerful. With staff training and employing good people this has the potential to be a good hotel. Management please note this, I dont give many low ratings for hotels.

Really convenient location, lovely and spacious, well decorated reception area. Motorbike parking round the back, so ideal for me. Just redone the carpets on the fifth floor, which gives it a fresh look and smell. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and the sheets have very luxurious feel to them.

Great premier Inn. Good location right near tube station. Tesco round the corner as well as other shops. Easy to walk to many tourists attractions in a half an hour walk. Hotel was clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice. Room was spacious, clean, well lit. Facilities were good. Overall we would defiantly book again.

We usually stay in Holiday Inn Express but to be honest we were just glad to find a sub £100 family room in Central London. Our bed was great, the bed for our daughter wasn't the comfiest or wrote long enough but it was good enough. They allowed us to leave luggage which was great. The staff were helpful. All in all, it was a lovely quiet street about 3 minute walk from the Blackfriars tube and I'd definitely stay again. Much cheaper and quieter than hotels near the bigger central destinations yet only a 20-25 minute walk from them.

You book a Premier Inn because you want a good sleep in a comfy bed, a good breakfast, handy location and value for money; and on the whole the brand up and down the country does that, and this one definitely does. However on top of that, the staff were truly excellent, genuinely helpful, friendly, and dedicated to their customers. It was so refreshing to see on all the shifts. We stayed two nights and will definitely be back. Good size room for being in London, beside Blackfriars tube and rail station. Mile to a mile and walk from Covent Garden and many of the main theatres.

Fantastic hotel that delivers on every level including price. Very comfortable bed, blackout curtains, hot powerful shower, quiet corridors and good food and drink. But the biggest benefit is the location close to the River and the Tube. Great base location to visit numerous London tourist spots and attractions. Have stayed here on four occasions now and it never fails. Staff were excellent as usual!

Check-in was nice and simple, the room was quite spacious for the 4 of us. We were on the ground floor on a street corner but couldn't hear a thing from the outside world. It was nice and quiet. The bathroom was quite small in comparison to the room though. It didn't help that the shower screen let water through to the floor directly in front of the basin and the toilet seat was broken. I let the front desk know and they said they'd pass it on to maintenance. Breakfast was good and plentiful (usual case for Premier Inn). Location was great. Just a couple of minutes walk from Blackfriars Underground, St Paul's Cathedral. About ½ an hour's walk to Westminster Abbey and Parliament etc...and about 20 minutes to the West End theatre district.

As always the premier in standard, good clean rooms, nice bar at reasonable prices £5 for a lager and £7 for large wine. The hotel is off the main road and really quite. 5 minutes walk to St Paul’s cathedral and close to Old London City (really atmospheric at night time). Are room was really big ideal for families. I have attached some photos. 2 adults and a 10 year old we stayed for one night including a lovely buffet breakfast for £160 which we thought to be a bargain. Highly recommended.

Quiet hotel easy checkin and out. Breakfast on offer before 10am. Corona on tap. Large spacious rooms with TV and coffee/tea making facilities. Large communal area with sofas to relax on after a long walk around London.

Staff very helpful. Room and hotel clean and well presented. Very good breakfast. Room could do with more storage for clothes, ok for up to 2 nights. Room wasn't cleaned after first night, so had to go back down to reception for more tea, coffee and milk.

Rooms were okay, the bed was good however the wall was a bit damaged. I personally didn't like the breakfast they serve, the bread was frozen, the pancakes were cold and the croissants were tasteless and the furniture was damaged. The staff on the other hand are very friendly and the location is perfect. The metro is very close and walking to the known tourist attractions is also very doable.

Easy to find and close to the Underground. Not a bad base for exploring central London especially if you enjoy walking about the capital. Usual Premier room though it felt cleaner than others we’ve stayed in. Efficient, relatively quiet air conditioning. Lovely reception staff who gave us a quiet room, happily supplied extra tea bags & milk for the SO’s cuppa addiction and who always seemed genuinely cheerful We’d definitely stay here again.

A very good value for money option in central London. Especially if you are looking for a twin room, which is hard to find by itself at a reasonable price. Rooms were clean and tidy, beds were comfortable, and the hotel by itself was pretty quiet as it’s not very close to nightlife spots. Just a two minute walk to Blackfriars (Green/yellow underground line), and tucked into an alleyway, this hotel is both convenient and quiet. Only negative: for those interested in visiting central London, the Green line isn’t the most convenient. Also with the exception of St Paul, you’ll need public transportation to reach most sightseeing spots. But within a five minute walk you can find countless buses heading to the city Center.

Stayed 4 nights. First of all we booked a twin bed room but instead we were assigned to queen bed. Room is big enough for two (even plus a kid). I couldn’t sleep cus AC kept turning off itself almost every half an hour, I dont know if it’s to save the electricity or it’s just the AC is broken. I woke up every hour cus I was sweating like hell, needed to go to the bathroom to wipe off. AC also making weird sound when turning it on again. Check-in time is 15:00 but you can leave your belongings here. Or early check-in cost around £10 if I remember it right Pretty quite, from street noise but not from your next door. We could here sounds like things moving around, knocking, door closing, even SPOON CLANKING sound. Towels smell weird. They didn’t change the bedsheets after our second night here. Mirrors was not cleaned. Broken soap bottle. Tesco express just around the corner (under renovation), Sainsbury across the street, and M&S just 3 mins walk from the hotel. Location, you can take bus no. 15, 26 from City thameslink (stop F) station to convent garden/ china town/ St. Giles. Or no. 8 (a bit further away) I personally think Blackfriars underground is not so convenient as it doesn’t go directly to places like Oxford circus, Convent garden, Piccadilly, Bond Street. That you have to switch the train at Embankment/ Westmister (lots lots lots of people)

We stayed here in November 23 and would stay here again. It's modern, clean and in good condition with most of what you need. I was surprised about how quiet it was at night. The room was fairly basic but the bed very comfortable. The shower was good and easy to use. The TV remote was unusual for a hotel in that it worked perfectly, ditto the room card key. The room wasn't great on storage though. The breakfast was good although I prefer some waiter service. The evening meal was OK. The staff were friendly. Check in was slower than I expected for such a chain. The hotel is well located for getting about although in a quiet office area. We're big walkers. It's handy for St Pauls area, the city, crossing on the Millenium Bridge or to the IWM over Blackfriars Bridge, walking up Fleet Street/Strand into the centre or along the river to Westminster. Blackfriars station is round the corner with north south east west links. Overall a good stay at a decent enough price.

Location is great and I opted for the accessible room which was very handy right next to the entrance and reception/dining area. Rooms were clean and spacious, nice and simple - all you need. It was easy to store and retrieve our luggage, and check in can be done on a self service screen only after 3pm. Main issue was that the Dining staff had no idea what we had paid for even when we had told them. We had meal deals which included breakfast and dinner, and despite the place being basically empty we were asked about booking slots multiple times which was annoying and unnecessary. Having to confirm our deals was awkward. After this on the second night we were chased to our rooms by a waiter asking for us to pay for the food which was already included in our deal, then he went away after telling him but this was very aggravating. No communication between the staff and even when we did book a dinner slot for 7:30 to make things simpler - they didn’t have it noted down when we arrived so it was pointless. Dining area is basically the reception and many rude and careless people walking and being loud/ignorant around your table and people sat alone with their phone on loudspeaker shouting when you are trying to have a quiet meal. Mostly foreigners I must add. The same issue all over London - losing its British charm. Good facilities, some helpful staff. Clueless overall.

Never had a bad experience with Premier Inn until now. We changed to this hotel for a 1 night stay with 3 rooms as we were told on the phone at the time of booking that standard check in was 12pm but we could pay for earlier check in and our double rooms will be changed to family rooms for all of our booked rooms as they have no twin rooms left. It was made very clear on the phone that we needed early check in and was told that this would be fine for all 3 rooms for an extra £10 charge per room which was fine. We turned up early and was told it was "very unlikely" we could check in early as check in was 3pm but was told to come back at 12pm and ask again, which we did and was met with a different rude receptionist who didn't want to accommodate us and told us we'd be waiting until 3pm. When we were finally able to check in, the receptionist attempted to charge us an extra £30 per room as we "requested a room change to family rooms" like no this wasn't the case and if we were informed of an extra charge on the phone we wouldn't have done this, it also doesn't make sense as all rooms online are the same price? We disputed this as all rooms were paid in full at the time of booking and we weren't informed of any extra charge.. They finally wavered this charge. Finally got into the rooms only for the power to blow in 1 room when the hairdryer was turned on, which resulted in us sitting in the dark for around 30 minutes until someone came to fix this. We were also provided 4 key cards for the same room and only 1 of these worked which was very inconvenient. After leaving the next day, we've been emailed an invoice for this same room of £115 with no explanation, have we to pay this? Is this for the electricity blowing? I really hope we're not being charged for anything else. Like I said I've never had a bad experience with a Premier Inn until now but I definitely won't be returning to this one. In hindsight we probably should have just stuck to our original hotel as it was closer and more convenient to the theatre we were attending that night, the only reason we switched to this hotel was for the early check in which didn't happen. Very disappointed in this hotel and the service we experienced.

This is by far our favourite London Premier Inn. Its location is perfect for exploring by bus, tube or walking. The Premier Plus rooms are spacious and incredibly comfy. The restaurant is awesome and staff can’t be beaten. We continue to come back because we love it so much.

Cheap & Central Hotel but nothing special. The Lobby isn't very appealing, the Rooms are 'OK' and mostly clean. Bathroom was good. Metro Station, Pubs and a few Restaurants are in walking distance. Probably wouldn't go there again, as i think there might be better options.

Probably one of the best locations you can stay without braking the bank. Rooms are very clean and unlike some other budget hotels this one's rooms arent damp and horrible. We stayed there twice and we will definitely go back again

We stayed 4 nights in the hotel and it was really amazing! beside the beds could be a little bit bigger and there was no closet in our room everything was great and the room tidy. breakfast was really good and totally enough for a short one in the morning. Even for dinner if you have your problems finding a restaurant in London I can recommend having dinner inside the hotel restaurant. Especially the location is great. Underground and all other transports in reach and you can walk to nearly everything in the city of London.

Usual premier inn standards.. really nothing to complain about. Only wish they had twin beds options to cater to family travellers. Had breakfast and dinner at Thyme and it was superb! Super good value for money! Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel. The position is excellent, you can walk to all attractions as well as the metro station, which is 100m from the hotel, bus station, Tesco supermarket. The rooms are excellent, the bed is comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and did not hear anyone and the hotel was full. Above all, quietly. The breakfast is excellent, something for everyone. The staff is helpful and friendly. When we come to London again, we will stay in this hotel. Any recommendation

Room spacious and silent. Queen size bed. Good quality of bed sheets and duvet. White and soft. Bathtub is a little bit high for people of 1.50m high but has several hand rails for safety. Towels are new and very white. Good TV screen Good curtains black out. No closet. Few hangers and 1 drawer. No safety box. Breakfast is varied, and you have to book your table in advance. It is a popular hotel for families and businesses. Internet is to be paid, the for free one is very slow. Blackfriers tube station just few blocks away. There are options for breakfast around.

The room is fine for a single person, and the location is fantastic. Being close to the river and lots of attractions. It did not have the best view, but it was clean and decent enough with a nice downstairs area.

Great Premier Inn. 1 min walk from the underground station. Tesco and lots of takeaways are around the corner. We were able to check in earlier and on checkout we were able to leave our bags in the luggage room to explore London a bit more. Checkout was 12 pm, which is very generous. There’s a hairdryer in the room, huge mirror and another makeup mirror with a light up frame. Would highly recommend. One of the best Premier Inn experiences I’ve had.

Good hotel, have stayed here many times before. Have never eaten here as there are so many places to go nearby. Good location for tube station and the local pub is of course the Blackfriars. Always seem to have an issue with a long wait to retrieve stored luggage so need to factor that in when you're ready to leave the city.

Good as can get with premier inn, two members of staff in particular, Hazel evening meal and yussuf breakfast service excellent customer service. Buffet breakfast was good start to the day, rooms OK but no views. MUCH BETTER than PI kings cross!!

This hotel is located in a great area to explore Londons main sites. You can walk to most place within 20 minutes but the tube station is just across the road if you don't want to walk. The staff were really helpful and very friendly. There was also enough staff on hand which was great as some Premier Inns seem to have no staff around. Breakfast was lovely. I stayed with my two grandchildren. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. The manager and her staff are amazing, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a good location and is very clean. Breakfast was also good , a lot better then most other premier we have stay in. Will definitely stay here again next time in London .

Everything you expect from a premier inn & the staff are incredible!! This is tucked away from the main road so it is very quiet & very close to blackfriars station. Highly recommended!!!

Arrived with ease. The room was lovely and spacious, towels provided. The check in staff were very helpful, and when we needed more toiletries they happily obliged. Breakfast was added in for 2 of our mornings, and it was nice enough, plenty of choice. We had dinner one evening and that was good also, although they had ran out of a few items it was replaced with something else. The location is great, you can easily walk to anywhere you want to see or use the underground. Loved that the hotel was one street behind the main road, it was silent and relaxing.. many shops nearby for things you might need.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We arrived earlier than check-in so our room wasn't ready, but it was no problem to leave our bags whilst we shopped. The room was clean and very comfortable. Considering it was a large hotel in central London it was very quiet, in fact probably the quietest PI I've ever stayed in! It was a Thursday night though, so it may be different at the weekend. The location was perfect for our needs, with Covent Garden and the theatres being only 20 minute walk away. I will definitely stay here again.

Premier Inn Blackfriars was such an amazing experience! The staff was professional, helpful, and super friendly. The environment is clean and elegant. It has such a cute dining area and an attractive finish to the Premier Plus rooms. I hope that everyone goes here if you are choosing an efficient and adorable hotel stay! ❤️ Both Sandeep and Kemmy had top tier customer service! Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here one night after a works do. Brilliant reception. We could drop off our bags in the morning so we didn’t have to carry them all day. And was super easy to pick them up after we got back at 23:30. Room was super comfy as always from Premier Inn. Love that they also have shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I would always look to book a Premier Inn.

Perfect location as in walking distance of southbank, west end and in the City. Air con too. Quiet and comfortable too. Nice big lobby that doubles as breakfast restaurant so lots of places to hang out during the day. Iced water available in foyer a nice touch!

Comfy rooms, nice bar area and very handy location. The food service was very odd you have to sit in the designated area to have any food but they gave me a menu where I was sitting and didn't explain this, so it resulted in me not being served for ages then I had to move 10ft to order and eat.🙄 ... despite this the food was tasty. Overall nice stay and will probably be back as its in a good location for business stays.

Nice location and just off the main street. Room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Stayed here for 4 nights and also had our breakfasts here, the staff were helpful and polite so cannot fault this hotel. Would highly recommend.

Good location near Blackfriars tube station. Tesco express at the street corner. Restaurant seemed busy but I didn’t eat there. Room was very big, bed and pillows comfy. Clean and well presented room. Self check-in and key generation was fast and easy. Friday and Saturday night stay in excellent location for under £180 was good value in my opinion. Marked one point down for shower door runner required fixing. We made it work for the weekend rather than wait for someone to fix it, and we didn’t want to let someone in there while we were out.

Came to do the Shine Night walk half marathon for Cancer Research. Needed a quiet hotel close to the finish line, open after midnight with comfortable clean beds and a filling breakfast. Premier Inn delivered everything we needed !

We arrived yesterday to an extremely long check in line. There are 3 automated check-in machines, only 1 of which was in service. After going through the motions with it, we still had to queue for a human at reception as it would not issue our key card. Upon arrival to our room, my wife exclaimed that the toilet was visibly dirty and had to clean it before our daughter used it. We are in a family room and there are only 2 large towels provided, we haven't need anymore yet, but we will need to ask for more. As we were tired from traveling we had dinner in the restaurant downstairs. For an empty restaurant with 4 or more staff it took an unacceptably long time for the 3 of us to have a 2 course meal. The staff all seemed friendly, however the service was abismal, my daughter had Mac and cheese, but didn't like the sauce, I asked for plain pasta for her but was told it was not possible. We booked a deal which included breakfast this morning, despite booking a table for 10am, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, it was a pointless reservation if we were going to be treated as a walk-in. The restaurant was cluttered with dirty tables and an extremely long line of guests. There were no glasses for the juices, and no clean teaspoons. I also had to go in search of clean cutlery and napkins. We also didn't have a full selection of cooked and bakery items as by the time we got seated, the breakfast service was being wrapped up by staff. We are here for another 2 nights and will definitely not be purchasing anything else in the hotel. As much as the staff are kind and helpful to an extent, the service is terrible and telling me they are incredibly busy doesn't give them a free pass for bad service and uncleanliness. I will not be back unfortunately.
