Literally, the worst place I have ever stayed. The door to our room opened to the large rubbish bins in the back ”courtyard”. It was a very hot summer. With only a very small window to cool down the room, our options were, to sleep in a hot box or have a slight bit of warm air, with the aroma of roasted refuse. We bought a fan for our room, but it only blew the smell of rubbish around. At one point we were barricaded in our room as someone parked a cart in front of our door. (the door should have opened into the room not out to the walkway) We had to wait until someone heard our cries for help before we could exit our room. Our sons were put in a room on an upper floor. The elevator was out of order for the entire length of our stay. The stairwell was very narrow with loose carpet in some areas. Fire safety was obviously not a concern. The front desk simply replied to our concerns with, “well you can’t find a cheaper place to stay”. We did find a room that was much larger, with more amenities and a considerate staff, for less money. I do not have the time to list all of the horrible things about this location. One positive thing I can say is that the housekeeper that parked the cart in front of our door gave us a great recommendation on where to purchase a fan.

Most of the staff is quite helpful (at first I got a really bad room, but they did their best to change me to a better one), however the quality of the rooms leave to be desired. My coat rack just fell down, my sheets were dirty even after 4 days of asking them to change it (at some point they just inverted it). In the end you get what you paid for, as the neighborhood is amazing.

This hotel was amazing after what we experienced with AirBnb. I booked for a standard double room, and we got a room with a double bed and one extra bed, I was really surprised. The room was clean as well as the bathroom. The size of the room didn't bother me as I stayed there for 2 days. The price is reasonable. The hotel is well located and literally 5 min away from Clapham South station. Really enjoyed my stay! Would happily go back. Also I didn't hear any noise in the room, bear in mind that the hotel is located next to a busy street. The only little thing is that the floor creaks when people walk but again it's a Victorian property so it didn't bother me.

Extremely noisy hotel. You can hear even the sound of notifications on phones of guests in next door room. Cleaning is okay, everyday. Shower, sink and toilet is okay. Bed is comfortable. TV is good. Extremely limited space in the room; nowhere to put personal items. Wi-fi is paid!!🤬4£ for 24 hours!

I do not think it's as bad as it's rated here. To sleep, watch some Tv and stay there for a little while it's absolutely okay. It could be difficult for people with a good amount of suitcases etc., because the rooms are definitely small. Plus it is easy to reach with the underground. All in all a good place to stay, if you want to have an easy reachable place to sleep at night.

This is a budget hotel. As long as you get an up stairs room you'll be fine. The bathroom is small but the sink is so low you can't brush your teeth. It's clean, friendly staff. Excellent position for the tube into center. The common is glorious

Stayed here for 4 days, very clean hotel, polite and courteous staff. Rooms are on the small side but adequate for your needs. Beds are clean and rooms are serviced daily with clean towels. The full English breakfast is really good and excellent value for money at only £7 per person which you pay for daily if required. All in all a really good stay, would definitely come back again.

Location: easy to access underground from hotel, shops nearby for amenities and food. Rooms were small, simple but clean and fresh, housekeeping were efficient and helpful, although 1 star off because the mattress in our room was very uncomfortable, however the price of the room we were happy with and made for a good base to explore London from which is all we really needed. Our overall experience was positive with staff and everyone else in the hotel.
