Service is the victim of revenue protection and guests are treated as untrustworthy. I have never before been unable to put breakfast on my room - despite having had my credit card pre-authorised and staying for 5 days. And when my laundry was left in a back room, I was told I was at fault for dropping it after 9am (but I dropped at 7.30 and was at work at 9am).

Great service and location. I honestly have no complaints about this hotel. The front desk staff were always extremely nice and helpful, providing good directions and tips throughout my stay. The hotel is located in close proximity to two metro stations with Jubilee and Northern lines that provide you access to the entire city. The borough market nearby is great and the area is lively and safe day and night.

Executive room. Modern. Clean. Spacy enough even for 4-member-family. Room service daily. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included, quite rich. Hotel about 10-minute-walk from London Bridge tube station with Jubilee and Northern lines, and also railway station. About 15-minute-walk to Cannon Street tube station across Southwark Bridge. Good starting point for sightseeing trips. Reasonable prices. Surely to stay here again.

We were not impressed with the reception staff on arrival, they could definitely do with some customer service training. The breakfast staff were however very personable and polite. The rooms were ok but as it was very hot the air con could not really cope. We also requested some items from housekeeping which did not arrive. Great view of The Shard from our room. The location was good.

We stopped here for a long weekend while visiting London. The hotel is in an excellent location and only a short walk to the nearest tube station. It's roughly a £20 taxi journey from King's Cross Station. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were excellent. Morning breakfast was excellent with a wide range of foods available from full English to cereals or toast/ French bread croissant etc. Would highly recommend.

Check in was very good & the chap who served us was excellent & very helpful, our room was upgraded was that was very good. Room was good even though we were upgraded I have had better but it wad adequate for us. We stayed for 2 nights & there was a kettle with tea & coffee, but these were not replenished when room service was done. The bar staff leave a lot to be desired, I don't know if they were training but 1 or 2 of them didn't seem to know how to pour a Vodka, lime & soda & they did leave people hanging at the bar including myself. The hotel in general was good & placed in a good location.

Modern and clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful service. Good coffee from the machines downstairs. If you're travelling with family, you'll need to ask for towels for everyone. The toilet paper is rough.

Stayed there on business, rooms for London where of a large size and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have used. Strange modern layout of the room with the sink being in the room but not an issue for me. View was a bit rubbish, even on the 6 floor (top) have a view of an office block brick wall. Being so close to the office the curtains needed to stay shut. Bar staff down stairs where clearly new and very slow, don't blame them but senior people did it try and support. Would happily stay at that hotel again.

Nice enough hotel. I was a bit disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, as pictured. The shower had black mould, the sink is either tarnished or dirty and drain was really clogged. Our room was cleaned everyday but the soaps were never refilled so our shower soaps were empty the whole time (they were empty when we checked in). With the lack of phone in the room, it was just kind of a pain to contact the front desk for help. The gym has basic cardio equipment and one pyramid of free weights. The sauna and steam room are a nice addition. There is complimentary 1 hour late check out and any additional hours was an extra charge. The hotel bar is not open 24 hours as advertised. They also wouldn’t serve anyone who wasn’t staying at the hotel (so our group had to go somewhere else since a couple people were not guests at the hotel even though majority of us were). Overall, I would stay here again if there was a good deal because it is in a great location and was good enough. The employees are nice and the lounge area is great to work in during the day since it’s quieter and very bright. I removed a star for the state of the room when we checked in (no soap, clogged drain, general cleanliness) and another star for the lack of phones as I believe that hinders communication and resolution.

Stayed as part of a mini trip to London with my 2 teenagers. Staff were incredibly friendly and made us all feel welcome. The room was well presented and comfortable. We made use of the bar for an evening meal, which was lovely. Breakfast was good too, but go dpwn early (it was very busy when we stayed but staff kept up with the incredibly high demand) The hotel is ideally located for a sightseeing tour of the city!!! We will definitely use again.

Nice Hotel, cute entrance and good decor. Service is great and people at the front were very nice. Location was great! Close to Borough Market. We stayed 2 nights. The hotel has some sewer problems it seems like because the bathrooms in the lobby smell very bad. The water does not go down the drain on the second floor. The beds are not amazing and the pillows are very thin. They use Rituals which was nice except no lotion or conditioner. Rooms were clean and nicely arranged. Coffee is instant coffee, and they provide packets of milk in fridge.

Had a very nice stay here for 1 night (31st-1st February) on my mother’s birthday. Switched hotels last minute to this one and the receptionist couldn’t be more helpful! Thanks to my silver status with Accor hotels the receptionist kindly upgraded me to an executive room with a shard view for my mother’s birthday. Our stay included 2 free drinks which were amazing. The bar is clean and staff are extremely friendly. Food was also amazing too The rooms were very clean and well kept, the housekeeping staff did a last minute bed setup in our room on the pull out couch which we are very thankful for The hotel is extremely close to the shard by walking and very close to other means of transport including bus links, tube stops and a train station not too far away! Will absolutely stay here again if I’m ever in the area and in need of a hotel for the night!

Very nice hotel. Modern, clean, with a parking. Friendly and professional staff, from the reception to the waiters and the cleaners. Good breakfast. They organized a drink one evening during the week. Nice atmosphere. Nice location: easy to get there by car from the continent. Only downside: lighting in the bedroom was too weak (room was dark).

Loved everything about this hotel. Lovely interior decoration and atmosphere. Nice breakfast with some quality items (and some not). Spacious and quiet rooms (we had bath tub). Even had the chance to use the sauna once. Perfect location walking distance from London Bridge station (direct train from Gatwick). Awesome surroundings to take a walk around the hotel - Borough market/yard as well as the bank with restaurants. Will definitely book again.

Everything was very nice. Lunch and breakfast foods were good. Plenty of coffee choices in the dispensing machines. Very good coffee, considering it was not brewed by a vending machine. I used the QR code to cancel housekeeping, I mentioned that I didn't want housekeeping at the front desk, yet housekeeping came in every day, regardless. So much for going green. Also, not sure why the 2nd floor rooms had no complimentary water bottles, as other floors did. Tea kettle and tea was provided, but had to use tap water to make tea each day.

Kelvin in the conference centre is absolutely fabulous. He has made a real difference to the running of several courses and nothing is too much trouble for him. We would return to deliver courses here simply because of him.

The hotel was spotless. The rooms were spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids. The sofa bed was extremely comfortable as that's usually not in most hotels. The staff were friendly. The location is very good, not far from Borough Market and 2 underground stations.

The personnel make the hotel: from the reception, to the bar, from the breakfast area to the maids, all are extremely professional, friendly, with large smiles. What ever you need, they will immediately support! So refreshing to still find this type of genuine customer care (not just service!). An example of diversity: gender, generations and origins all coming together for the customer. My all time favorite when in London!

Stayed one night. Extremelly cleaned, spacious, and well decorated room. Didn't have breakfast tough, so I can't comment about it. The location was great as well, just a few minutes away from the Thames.

Special shout out to Kelvin in Meetings and Events. Always smiling always professional and obliging. He works under extreme pressure when several meeting rooms in use and manages to meet all our needs. A special guy who is a credit to Novotel

Our family booked a weekend trip to London, and on the reccomendation of a friend I booked the Novotel London Bridge for our family of 4. I had an absolutely amazing stay... the staff was welcoming and kind, even the ones at the hotel initially went to instead of the one I booked (I mistakenly went to the London Tower Bridge Hotel, instead of the London Bridge!!). The lobby smelled heavenly, and felt very welcoming. The rooms were quite nice and pretty decently spacious. Super clean (I get eally paranoid about hotel rooms being gross!) and I love that they use Rituals products in the washrooms and shower. We had breakfast as part of our package, and it was quite good! We'd been warned by friends that English breakfast might not always appeal, but there was something for everyone at the breakfast buffet, and it was a great start to each day of seeing the sights of the city. I would absolutely stay here again, and will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends.

Good hotel but very expensive - thank goodness for Tesco vouchers! Got upgraded to a Premier Executive room which seemed to mean that you don't get a bathroom (you do get a shower, toilet and sink, just not in a room together). It also had a fridge which was very useful!

This was a lovely little hotel to stay in, it had nice rooms and the rooms were quite big. The staff were really friendly and the location of this hotel was amazing! I would 100% recommend coming here if you are wanting to stay in a nice friendly area/hotel.

Absolutely loved our stay here. We checked in at 12:30 Saturday afternoon very swiftly, fortunately not being asked to pay an early check in fee as our room was already prepared. We had also been upgraded to an impecabley well presented Executive Suite with great shower, big TV and view of the Gherkin and Walkie Talkie buildings from room 627. The hotel was a short walk to Borough Market for some lunch. Later on evening we had a drink in the bar where the Choco Martini is as good as Coco Pops. The following morning we had a lovely breakfast including a full English, pancakes and waffles, and later taking coffees in "to go" cups to prepare us for the rest of our day. All the staff were attentive and helpful and the facilities and location great. We would definitely stay here again. 10/10. Thank you. 😊

Great location, friendly staff and nice room. The poor aspects were that the TV casting in the room didn't work, we asked the staff twice for help but no one showed up. The steam room was out of order, and the sauna wasn't even warm to break a sweat.

Good location, reasonable price. Possibility to leave luggage before check in. Perfect cleanliness! Excellent breakfast! Live music in the restaurant in the evening, which makes the atmosphere at the hotel incredible! The staff is very friendly. Special thanks to Liliana Kaci. We certainly adapted, but the glass wall between the room and the bathroom in the room for a family of three adults, was a bit disturbing.

Really nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean, well decorated and had a great view. It was really hot and dry in the room but that often happens in big hotels, wasn't a problem we just didn't get the aircon quite right. Only complaint was that the shower was lethal, it was like stepping on ice! There was no texture to the floor and nothing to put on it to stop yourself from slipping.

Beautiful and well maintained hotel. Exceptional service. Breakfast was very good and food at the restaurant was also very good, albeit a bit expensive. The only slight caveat was that room 529 was a bit small for 4 people.

Very nice staff and great experience. Fairly clean and nice enough rooms. This definitely is not 4 stars, more like a 3 star hotel. Overall would recommend.

Meh- London Bridge Novotel First time in UK, booked 4 months in advance, multiple rooms, requested we be either connecting or next door- they honored neither request. Cards stopped working on second day for both rooms. Need to go back to lobby to “register” for gym access. Location is poor, not near anything really. Front desk staff rarely pick up phone but were available when we went down to reception. They had a sale promotion- but the rate was better for my brother who booked without the sale (I think they bumped up my price when I inputted my current location- he lives in UK, i live in NY). I called immediately to bring the price discrepancy to the attention of staff, and they said no changes or modifications allowed to reservations - the price for the room should be consistent given same days/room type. They offered me a credit for the $700 difference- but only in this location within 6 months. Who plans multiple trips to London within 6 months? I asked for management to reach out so we could work out a mutually beneficial solution- but the staff gave me a runaround. There are hotels with better location, better service and more flexibility near by. Choose wisely.

We had Afternoon tea from a gift voucher.. once we were sat at a table..and tea and sandwiches were put on the table the staff on duty seemed to forget us and no further contact or well being took place......We left the dining area after enjoying the tea. Later while I was buying a drink in the bar..the initial person who sat us down asked if we were finished !!!. Lack of customer care.

Nice hotel, conveniently located. Staff very friendly. We liked the breakfast and kids eat for free! Prices pretty high, but I guess that’s everywhere in London.

Lovely hotel near London Bridge, and Borough Market - fabulous foody district. Staff are friendly, service impeccable. Rooms are well equipped. Nice touch of a taster of the menu served with our beers... and they were scrumptious - wouldn't hesitate to recommend the food here.

We had an amazing afternoon tea experience yesterday. Great selection of cakes and sandwiches, warm scones. Service was excellent, especially Lily who helped us to resolve a booking issue. We will be there again.

I love it here. staff are great good sized rooms for Lomdon. Quite why they call it London Bridge when it's on Southwark is beyond me. Borough right by it with great food and bars. Their own bar is also great with lovely, attentive service.

Hotel is good value for money. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was clean.

Comfortable and clean family room. Excellent sound proofing from windows. All staff friendly and polite. Shower extremely slippery - there were warning signs and bath mats but still uncomfortable to stand in shower. Anytime but very early is extremely busy for breakfast with long waits for tables - dining room capacity really not enough. The breakfast was good, as was an evening meal we had in the restaurant. The hotel was ideally located for our trip, very handy for some sights and transport links.

I recently stayed at your hotel and encountered a minor issue during my stay. However, the front end manager, Ingebjørg Foss. Ingebjørg, promptly addressed and resolved the issue with exceptional professionalism. Her swift response and commitment to guest satisfaction greatly enhanced my overall experience, making my stay enjoyable. I appreciate the dedication to customer service and would recommend your hotel to others based on this positive encounter.
