Great location and very attentive staff (reception and restaurant/bar). Good breakfast (and proper coffee) and food in the restaurant. As for the hotel itself: room cleanliness was not great, see pics. We had to move the bed as dropped something under it and oh my goodness the things we have seen there...!! Lifts work in a very weird way and have to wait quite a bit sometimes. Make sure to book spa treatments few months in advance as none were available 3 months before our booking. Small jacuzzi, pool and steam room available in the spa. Sauna currently out of service. Need to go through the restaurant and outdoor space to get to the spa. Slippers and robes provided in the room, extra towels are given in the spa.

First off, we have stayed in Leonardo's before in London so have a good point of reference. We opted for the apartments/suites that this Leonardo offers, which are approx a 2 minute walk from the main hotel. Checking in was fine as you'd expect, but it is worth noting that you do need to carry some cash for the concierge if staying in the apartments/suites as they take you to the room. With one small suitcase we don't bother with concierge normally so didn't have a tip available (and I made me feel bad, sorry!). The room (1206) itself was good in terms of decor and size, everything you'd expect plus a great view, but there are a few things to note that hopefully can be improved on. *Worth mentioning that for our very short stay, none of these were worthy of reporting to reception or asking for a room change. They are just worth mentioning to provide a fair review* - The wardrobe doors were jammed so this couldn't be used - the lights in the bedroom hallway flickered when turned on - the shower gel (etc) had not been replaced when we first checked in so we had none - the beverage facilities were VERY limited (maybe also not replaced)? - there was a sofa bed in the room however it had partly collapsed inside so you can't really use the sofa (we didn't need to). The location is excellent and nice to hear St Paul's ringing from our room The key metric I think is usually whether someone would return. I think sadly, unless there was a HUGE discount/sale price available, we would not look to return to this hotel. There are a great many hotels for a similar price or less, which means a less than excellent first visit means we can't really justify returning.

Great hotel with very helpful staff. Rooms are immaculate and very well proportioned. Breakfast was great with a wide selection. Bar staff were friendly and engaging. Location is central and very easy to navigate too. Highly recommend for a visit.

(See below for post-stay review.) I called this hotel today from 15h10 - 15h15. First I called central reservations wanting to double check they had my reservation which they couldn't do. When I asked them to put me through to the hotel reception they told me I'd have to go through security.. Seeing as they didn't have me as a guest in their hotel I was puzzled as to why I'd need to do that. Next I called the hotel reception directly, and spoke a young lady who couldn't find my reservation either. I told her my reservation was part of a two-day event there so she put me through to their events department who didn't answer their phone after a 10 minute wait. Then I called reception again and they simply hung up on me 3 times. That kind of customer service really doesn't fill one with optimism. Nor does their mindless template responses to other people's negative reviews. Needless to say I'm not looking forward to my stay... I work in luxury travel and spend a lot of time in hotels. Having now stayed there I can say this: - I had room 250 that faced the internal atrium so no view or fresh air except that coming from the noisy AC - room felt a little ‘worn’ - pillows were rock hard - rooftop bar that they make much of is not run by the hotel so you can’t just stroll up there. You have to book. Tedious - particularly when they’re also having two events there. - shower was shooting out of the shower head towards the light fixture which made for a stressful shower. No shower gel in shower dispenser. Also there is mould in the shower area see picture below. - the forgotten item menu was nice, not clear if chargeable or not. - the minibar seemed to be locked. - good mid-event coffee and snacks. - breakfast was great, the staff at breakfast and generally really good, nice and professional. Overall, for the price they charge I didn’t think it was good value.

I was a guest in this hotel for one day only. I was excited to have a wonderful day out with my husband and enjoy the amenities of the hotel. The check-in is at 4pm, they had a fire alarm at 6:30pm that cut the energy of the whole building, we didn't have hot water in the room, the room was hot, the spa closed, pool closed, breakfast was only pastries and cold stuff because of that. We couldn't see a thing the whole time, using the lantern of the phone. Its 10am now, our check out is at 12. We literally didn't do anything apart from being in the complete dark. The staff offered only a drink voucher (we don't drink alcohol). A hotel this size should be offering people a complimentary night as an apology because we literally spent the whole time in the dark. If they have some respect and offer us to come back I will edit this review. Accident happens and a good management will know how to fix things. But if you are reading this it is because they didn't do anything yet. Thank you

WOW! I regularly visit London but I stay at my families. I decided this time to stay here. Service was exceptional Every1 that works their kept asking if I'm OK and needed anything The staff gave me every bit of detail I needed to travel around London. The beds were super comfy, the rooms were stunning with beautiful huge windows. The fridge in the room had amazing selection. The breakfast was of amazing choice. The spa was super clean and fun. The views around the hotel was amazing. To wake and to go for a cigarette around the corner and see the main skyscrapers is beautiful. I really recommend this to anyone to stay here. I would give 10 stars if I could

I actually cannot believe that I stayed at this TERRIBLE hotel. Firstly, when you enter reception it looks promising. It's wide and spacious and smells good. The person I dealt with at check-in was lovely. He was helpful and they were able to have our room ready early. However, as soon as we entered the room (560) my heart sank to my feet. The SMELL was DAMP and mouldy and it wasn't until later that I figured out where it was coming from. The carpet right by the door was filthy. The ONLY reason I didn't go downstairs to complain was that my makeup artist arrived and I had to get ready for my 40th birthday party. I was so EMBARRASSED. The shame was overwhelming. The room was super dark and the smell was very obvious. The smell turned out to be the blinds and curtains as you will see in the photos. I also think it was carpets too. I cannot understand how management can look at that room and say its worth £200 per night. It's SHOCKING. The taps didn't shine The desk had drip marks I refused to walk barefoot in the room The shower leaked onto the floor The iron caused a short-circuit and we had no power for almost an hour 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can laugh now but it was a huge disappointment at the time. We accidentally left our complimentary drinks cards in the room that the kind gentleman gave us on arrival and once you leave to check out your key doesn't allow you back in. We asked the lady at reception CLAUDIA (who was kind enough to SPELL her name for me) if she could just replace them for us and she was so RUDE. We could see the drinks cards on her desk and she said she didn't have any. She made the concierge go all the way to our room (which was in another building) and fetch the cards to give to us rather than just give us one from the pile of around 100 she had on her desk. Unreal! The bar staff were lovely. We had a good chat with the guy there. It's a shame about the beyond terrible room and the awful Claudia, who I do not feel is reception worthy. I am very interested to learn what management have to say about our room. I still cannot believe I stayed there!

Stayed here with my partner for our 4 years anniversary. Was greeted by a lovely man on the front desk (forgot to get his name), room was lovely (had a view of St Paul’s which was incredible), breakfast was nice (just a shame that the bacon and sausages weren’t brill, however, everything else was amazing), housekeeping offered to clean our room as well bless them. We used the pool, gym, suna and steam room. All 10/10. All together was lovely. Really do recommend it! The staff were really welcoming. This is rare. Usually when we go to nicer hotels as they usually treat us differently due to our age (19). This did not happen. We really appreciated it.

Absolutely appalling customer service! I stayed at the hotel June 13-16 and left two jackets in my room's wardrobe when I checked out. Unfortunately, I only noticed when I arrived back home. I've been trying to reach the hotel ever since - by phone and email. Zero response! But it's impossible to get through to anyone but the room reservation service (of course, they say they can't help). Worst customer service experience ever. For what it's worth: the AC wasn't working in my room. It made a lot of noise but no cool air - it was baking hot at night! Avoid this hotel if you can!

5 stars are not enough for this hotel! Simply WOW! First of all, the service, the rooms, the architecture, the decor, the location- everything was perfect! Second, the amenities in the room were amazing and the vibes were on point! Finally, for a 5-star hotel, this place really proved itself! During our 2-day stay, the hot water was not working and the hotel compensated us so well! They went above and beyond to ensure all guests were comfortable and taken care of! Highly recommended! Can't wait to go back!

Everything about the hotel was very good! The location in superb! The staff was incredible and super kind. Breakfast buffet was very good since they have an omelette station… one thing that I did notice was that it took time to clear rubbish (room service trays) on the hallways for 2+ days which took away from the over all cleanliness of the hotel. They also have an outstanding terrace overlooking St. Paul’s

We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel! My boyfriend and I came only for 1 night but we definitely made the most out of our stay. The spa / pool area is lovely and super relaxing. The bedrooms are also spacious, and bathrooms really nice and modern with both a shower and a bathtub including even zero-chemical toiletries. The only small downfall was that the as a Saturday it was super busy (naturally!) with kids and the indoor pool could have been warmer but there is still always plenty of space to go from sauna to steam room to pool to hot tub. Nonetheless, the staff are all super friendly. We also had a small problem with our mini bar fridge in our room but the staff tried to attend to it almost immediately. We want to thank specially Amer for being amazing and doing everything he could to resolve the issue and make sure we were satisfied with everything during our stay. Thank you and we will definitely be coming back!

Gorgeous hotel in the center of London! I had such a spacious room with a comfy bed and nice bathroom products. There’s a nespresso machine and free water and biscuits. The staff were very kind. I loved my stay here.

Lovely hotel. Room spacious and clean. Breakfast room very nice indeed. Bar rather soul-less and staff did not know how to prepare a cocktail properly. Great location for tube and other lovely restaurants and pubs.

There's a lot to like about this hotel the rooms are comfortable, the bar area and concierge service helpful and polite. We did find the reception staff, at least the one who checked us in, to be less helpful and border on rude, the only other comment would be the lifts which were slow to your floor, we waited over 5 mins on one occasion for the lift to get to the 6th floor. Its a fairly big hotel and perhaps more lifts would help. Would we book again, probably not.

This hotel is like most in London, smaller than I’m accustomed too. It’s a nice boutique looking hotel in the center of it all. Great location, great staff, but small rooms. I don’t have anything negative to say about this place. If size isn’t an issue, great place to stay! Thanks Abigail for being so accommodating and hospitable!

Had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location is ideal, St. Paul’s cathedral is magnificent, the breakfast was superb, all staff is customer oriented. We left a wallet behind and Kevin (the concierge) overnighted it to us to our Paris hotel before we came back to the US. This property is a five!!!

Location couldn't be more perfect. It's a busy, central hotel and it's huge, so if you want boutique look elsewhere. We didn't eat here so can't comment on food but the spa is small for such a large hotel, we found it too crowded which was a shame. If that's a primary reason for going then aim for off peak times. Otherwise a perfect base to explore London!

Had an amazing stay at this superb hotel in New Year’s Eve, lovely atmosphere had an excellent nights sleep in such a comfy bed, staff are friendly and welcoming , first class breakfast. Our room was upgraded to executive suite free of charge .Lovely shower and some nice touches to the room I cannot fault the service we received and am looking forward to staying there again soon . Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone

Rough round the edges. As mentioned by lots of people it's lacking in cleanliness - dirty slippers in what look like unwashed robes. The rooftop bar has to be booked. The mini bar they take a £200 payment JUST TO OPEN it, and you are charged if you take anything out just to look at it. Staff were exactly great. Rough looking crowd in the gym. Doesn't have any kind of view even at the top floor. Go to the Vintry & Mercer less than a block away. Far superior.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Service was impeccable. Room was spacious had every amenity including a kitchenette. And a bathtub! Breakfast was delicious with a vast choice of hot and cold foods to choose from. The hotel was astetically pleasing and very helpful staff. Would 100% recommend and come back for another stay.

Unfortunately, we didn't stay because we were DJiing for an awards ceremony. But this place is awesome. Such an iconic location. The DJ (us) wasn't too shabby either!

I stayed overnight at this fabulous place recently and was pleasantly surprised. The location is in the heart the London City and offers magnificent views of the St. Paul's Cathedral from the rooms and the rooftop Bar called Sabine. The reception staff was very friendly and knowledge, the setting of the lobby, ground floor bar and first floor restaurant were well presented. The room was spacious and of a very high standards. It offers good size TV, Nespresso machine, minibar and spacious bathroom. The interior design was modern and the colour theme worked very well. I visited all bars and restaurants and the service and the quality of food and beverages were very good and reasonably priced. Overal great experience, great place highly recommended for a city escape.

Excellent stay with my daughter. Lovely room. Great treatment in the spa. Excellent choice at breakfast. Sabine rooftop bar has amazing views! Only disappointment was we didn’t get our bottle of Prosecco which was included in my desk?

We stayed at Leonardo's for 5 nights in June. It was an exceptional experience. The location is perfect (central, safe, quiet). The interior is beautiful. The breakfast is excellent (wide variety, great quality). But, the reason we will 100% return is because of the staff. I would give them 10 stars if possible. We interacted with 5 or 6 staff members and every single one was kind, professional, and seemed to genuinely want to help. The manager especially went above and beyond (when an issue arose) to find a solution. I believe we also spoke with 2 staff members named Amer and Francesco? Both were so kind and helpful. We unfortunately had to move to another hotel (to finish out our stay in London) because of last minute travel changes and it was in the same price range and also well located but the experience with the staff was night and day in comparison with Leonardo hotel. You really get the sense that they (Leonardo) is prioritizing providing an exceptional experience.

Very nice hotel! The location is great. It has a few restaurants, shops, cafes nearby, a tube station and a bus stop is also near. The hotel has a pool, a jacuzzi and two saunas, a gym, a spa, and a bar. Everything was very clean, the breakfast was delicous. The staff are very kind, caring. Loved it!

Location is perfect..modern hotel within a smart area of the city. The staff were all very pleasant and kind nothing was a bother. Room size was great and we really enjoyed our stay. Room service pizza and truffle fries were delicious after a long day walking in heat. Pool and spa facilities clean and can be used any time until late evening. Would definitely return.

Very nice hotel, great location literally next to St Paul's. Superior room was spacious and well equipped, even the heating wasn't too loud (a nice change for a London hotel!) Bed and pillows were very comfy. Pool and gym was good, pool is nice and long, so great for a swim, although the weight benches in the gym are tired and need replacing. Breakfast was typically pricey at £18 but was very good and the location feels very airy. Never found the stairs and the central glass lifts are cool but you spend ages waiting for them. There's a separate lift to the gym which is good. Best bit is the view of St Paul's when you walk out of the front door.

Been a great experience. Service is excellent, there were a few things which I required during my stay and the management Johnny was excellent in assisting with this. As bush as he was dealing with all his customers he ensured to follow up and check up on me to ensure I was happy. Other than that the hotel is good, clean and a perfect stay in London for the summer. Extremely satisfied

Lovely hotel with great staff and excellent amenities. The room was spacious and clean, also it was very quiet which is amazing for a hotel this size. The breakfast provided kept me going all day and the executive lounge well worth it. The spa is great and I enjoyed a lovely massage. We're planning a return trip next year, thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Right near St Paul's Cathedral and walkable to many other major attractions. The hotel is also close to many underground stations to make all of London accessible. Truly enjoyed the treats available all day near the reception desk! It was nice to be able to grab an apple or small snack before heading out for the day. The pool/hot tub was a wonderful perk too. Just be sure to note that there is nowhere to sit or leave your things outside of the pool. Lockers are available to keep your things in, but it's definitely more of a gym pool than a vacation/lounging pool.

Birthday celebration for a member of the extended family. Lovely hotel, looked after by the concierge and booked in very quickly by the receptionists. Very close to St. Paul's and view from the Sabina bar at the top of the hotel was quite spectacular. Well worth the visit and experience. Breakfast next morning was more than adequate. Rooms were clean and well stocked with water, coffee facilities although ours only had decaf pods available.

Absolutely loved this hotel!! It’s a hidden gem but what a great location, great staff, really big room, amazing spa facilities and great breakfast. So worth it!! The only things I’d like to highlight is that the rooms got v hot, the AC didn’t work (same in all 4 rooms we had), a lot of the pillows were a little too hard, didn’t like the shower head - the way it releases water. Not sure how you can avoid wetting your hair as a woman or indeed properly washing it under that. But we did otherwise have a lovely time, it’s a very tasteful hotel!

Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location near the cathedral, bus routes, 2 train stations, restaurants, and small grocery shops. Beautiful indoor pool and spa. Very nice breakfast buffet, but pricey. Very nice rooms, need better air conditioning in rooms though. Would totally stay again in cooler months.

Nice hotel, right beside St Pauls (I think it used to be the Grange??) Nice Reception and Bar area, rooms are nice and spacious, with decent Beds. Rooms have air-con but Windows don't open. The outside facing Windows face offices, which is a bit weird. Bathroom has a separate walk-in Shower and Bath which was nice (Only strange thing was the lack of Toilet Roll Holder next to the Toilet??). Staff are friendly - well worth staying there 👍
